Red drew her arm away as one of the barbs scraped her shoulder, a small drop of blood trickling from the scratch she received. As amazed as she was about the succubus's ability, now wasn't the time to marvel at her power, knowing that the wrong words could place her in even greater danger."Last time I try to help someone suspicious..." the girl thought, having known something was off about her from the start. Unfortunately in this case, it seemed that her good nature could be the end of her. She tried to swallow some of her fear down, before shaking her head in response to the succubus' question. She had to come clean, as she now found she was not a good liar.
"No, I'm not, but close enough to it." she started, figuring that her actual story would at least be believable now. "I used to think I was, but apparently I'm a Draconian. And the person I was supposed to meet at the docks is not a human either, but my Dragon friend." Red explained, trying her best to avoid the barbed chains that were present on her escape path. Unless she could get past Sylvia, there was no way for her to escape the harm that could come to her. And it was likely that she would block that escape too. Fearing the answer she would receive, she then asked: "What do you plan on doing with me?"

Sylviidae simply stared for a long time, mouth slightly open in surprise. The chains had also frozen, stunned into stillness. Then the wooden links simply fell apart. Sylviidae had tried her entire life to find a dragon or a draconian, wanting to discover some way of siphoning off the massive power of the creatures. And now she had stumbled across one on accident. A smile spread across her face as she stepped forward once more, gently placing a hand on Red's shoulder.
"I am sorry for scaring you," she said honestly, mind already racing on how to best turn this to her advantage. "I was just scared that you would run and reveal what I am. Mortals tend to do that, but now that I know you are a supernatural there is nothing to worry about!"
Perhaps she shouldn't merely use and discard this girl. As a Draconian Red was basically human herself, but with a dragon nearby, Sylviidae didn't dare harm the girl for fear of retribution. Besides, she wanted desperately to meet the dragon. "My real name is Sylviidae by the way," she continued, offering her hand once more. "Sylviidae Nightsong Mallai. Again I apologize for lying to you, but we supernaturals have to be cautious in the human world you know."

Red held her breath, watching as the Succubus paused in her advance. At first she expected to be torn apart at the spot, but as the wood fell away, and the chains vanished, she let out a small exhale of relief. Her reasoning on her actions were somewhat understandable, the world not quite ready for such truths when they were still so ignorant. But she couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy still about the whole ordeal.
"I see... but in the future, letting someone go rather than having them stay is always an option." she replied, trying to give her a smile. "Anyways I know where youre coming from. I never knew that supernatural beings had such a hard time, but when I was told that there were people actually hunting them down, I began to fear for my own safety as well." she explained. "That's why Ancaladar never comes into settlements with me, as much as I hate to be away from him."

Sylviidae smiled. "I would not have kept you here, I would have killed you." she replied casually, shrugging as she sat down on the bed. No longer in disguise she slipped off the rags, leaving just the tattered remains of her dress. Quite a bit of flesh was exposed, the dress barely decent, but that was actually a plus in her mind. "I could not risk you telling anyone about me. But now that we are in the same boat..." she trailed off, shrugging again. "Besides, I find that I am growing to like you."
It had been a very long time since Sylviidae had liked anybody. She led a solitary life of luring innocents to their doom and manipulating them to get what she wanted. There was no room for friends in her world, but now she had found someone who had something she needed. She wanted to meet this dragon, and any attempt by her to force the girl into anything could end up with her in a dragon stomach.
She stretched out on the bed, looking at the girl with a slight smile. "I would dearly love to meet Ancaladar by the way. Perhaps you and I could travel together for a while?" she winced, remembering the same conversation in the alley. "I need new clothes you see," she held up the torn dress. "and I cannot exactly walk into a store in broad daylight."

Red had meant of course letting her go on the way to the room, but the subject had ended already. "I'll see what I can do about clothes in the morning. Nothing's going to be open until then anyways." Red replied, laying back down on the bed once more beside Sylviidae, still feeling a bit shaky. Recovering from a life threatening situation wouldn't happen in moments, though it wouldn't help the longer she thought about it.
"As for meeting Ancaladar... I'll have to think on that." she replied, not sure whether or not he would approve. It would help for them to have new friends to rely upon, but she needed more time to feel more trusting toward the demon. They would figure things out in the morning once she had more time to think. With that in mind, she stole another glance of the woman once again, noticing the wings once more.
Red had always wanted to fly, one of the other dreams she had always held in her heart, other than to meet a dragon. The only problem was that she didn't have wings. She could just fly on Ancaladar's back, but she wanted to experience true flight for herself, without the aid of anything else. She couldn't help but wonder if there was any way to get them for herself, a thought which the old her would have thought as preposterous. But now it seemed that anything was possible.
"An odd question, but... what does it feel like to have wings?" she questioned.

Sylviidae smiled widely, wondering if the girl realized how silly the question was. "That is an odd question, especially since I have never not had wings. I imagine however, that it is rather restrictive." she paused, never having bothered to imagine what life would be like without her wonderful wings.
She did so love to fly around, looking down on the world and knowing that few of them would ever glance up. It was so funny how similar it was to how humanity functioned, always so concerned with what was beneath their feet that the never saw the world around them. How could they be so ignorant of the supernatural?
"I cannot imagine it Red." Sylviidae said quietly, finding herself pitying the girl. Pity was not an emotion that the demon was used to feeling for anyone, and knowing that she felt it for this girl was...odd. "Truly the world must be diminished by needing to walk upon it. Seeing it from above, knowing that you can move in all three dimensions...well I cannot imagine losing that."

Continuing to stare up at the ceiling, Red frowned at the inability to answer her question. She did have a point, so it wasn't her fault. It was just something she had always wanted to know, something that she envied more than anything. She didn't care if she had power or wealth, she just wanted to have the experience, no matter what she had to do or how much time she needed to spend to get them. Somehow she could never help but imagine herself with soft and feathery white wings, like some kind of heavenly being.
"It's alright. It's just... something I've always wanted to experience." Red started, turning her head to look over at Sylviidae, her emerald green eyes lighting up at the thought. "To not be bound to the earth, feeling so imprisoned by the laws of gravity, and just go wherever you wish." she started, starting to smile. She had imagined it would feel weird for someone not used to it, having the feeling of a pair of appendages coming out of her back. To top it off, it would probably be hard to move throughout normal society as well, always keeping them hidden as Sylviidae had demonstrated.
"As much as I want to have wings though, I can't help but feel that it may never happen, being a mortal and all."

Strangely Sylviidae felt the urge to comfort the girl, to reassure her. "I think you will find that the laws of nature aren't as set in stone among the supernatural." she said with a smile. "I would not be at all surprised if you discovered someone capable of granting you wings, but nothing is guaranteed." She lay down and stretched out her wings, one of them accidentally slapping across Red's chest.
It was true that many creatures could use their powers to simply break the laws of physics or nature and wings could be a minor thing for some to grant. She had never heard of beings able to alter the bodies of others so readily, other than the gods of course, but one never knew. "How is it that you never knew that you were a Draconian?" she finally asked, remembering what Red had mentioned. "I imagine that you feel different from humans." she paused, smiling at her own mistake. "Of course if that is true you would not know what humans feel like, just as I do not know what being without wings is like."

"I hope so. I'm just not sure where to begin my search." Red sighed, not having a direction to even start in, not with her current knowledge. Perhaps a quick glance on the internet could help, but earlier tries had only led to simple costume wings, which was not what she wanted. She was about to answer her question, before suddenly being slapped by Sylviidae's wing, knocking her out of her trance. She jumped for a second, trying to roll her wing off without causing any discomfort.
"And to answer your question, I suppose it's the same thing as what you said. I've never known what's its like to not be Draconian. But I suppose I thought I was human all along because I look like one, and lived among them for so long. I didn't find out about being a Draconian until I met Ancaladar, because the big difference seems to be in the ability to speak to Dragons." And she had never met a real Dragon until that day.

Sylviidae nodded, finding herself starting to get tired as she yawned. "I would stick close to him if I were you." she advised, pulling her torn dress over her head and tossing it aside. The holstered pistol followed it into a pile against the wall, two sheathed knives joining them as well. "Most supernaturals have powers, but not Draconians, and you would be hard pressed to defend yourself against one. And believe me, you will need to defend yourself in our world much more often than in the human one."
The supernaturals had no police, no government, no unifying or lawmaking body at all. The only rule was one of power, if you had enough you could do what you want. Sylviidae herself was relatively weak among their kind, she knew it well enough, but she made up for it with brains and human weaponry. "If things had turned out differently you would be dead now and I would be having a nice feast of Red." her smile revealed pointed teeth this time.

"Don't remind me..." Red groaned, rubbing her head at the thought of being someone elses meal. Of course appearing as a human, she could pass as one in the human world, so perhaps if she was lucky she could survive. Though the rest of the time it meant that she depended on Ancaladar completely if she wanted to survive. Perhaps her search to find the different races of the world would be much more dangerous than she had hoped. "But I'll keep that in mind... and I'll try not to taste good."
Readjusting her position on the bed, she rolled onto her back once more, feeling her eyes begin to grow quite tired. "For now though, I feel that its time we rest for the night. I feel really tired after all of this." she yawned, closing her eyes and beginning to doze off.

Sylviidae slipped under the covers as well, glancing over at the girl with a mischievous smile. She was rather attractive, her figure slender and shapely. She was slightly less...filled out than Sylviidae's normal tastes, but she wasn't that picky. She slid over beneath the covers, curling her body around the more slender girl. One arm slipped around the girls waist, hand running along her stomach gently. Sylviidae lowered her head towards the girls neck, letting her breath tease her skin. "I find that I am not as tired as I thought Red," she whispered huskily. "Perhaps we could spend a little time together before we sleep?"
The succubus allowed her tail to move down, wrapping around the girl's hip and sliding down her thigh. It had been some time since she tried this with someone who she did not intend to kill, it was actually rather exhilarating. Normally there was no risk because she would either kill them after, or kill them if they refused. But here Red would be alive tomorrow either way. It was a rather strange thought.

Red opened her eyes, finding the demon wrapped around her body, a little confused about her motives. Not that it felt bad, rather it was strangely good. It was just something she had never felt before. With a small groan, she turned her head slightly to try and see Sylviidae, trying to blink herself awake to understand what they were saying.
"Ngh...What do you mean...spend time together?" she questioned with a sleepy voice, a little oblivious to what she was thinking as she felt her tail moving down her body. Partially because she was tired, but partially because she was just that oblivious. Such notions were never really on her mind, especially with never having a relationship with someone to consider such things.

Sylviidae had to admit that she was pleasantly surprised. She had been expecting an embarrassed but polite rejection from the girl, then she would have teased her for the rest of their association. But now...well the immediate future was looking bright indeed. Lightly grabbing her shoulder Syl turned Red so that she was on her back, sliding gently on top of her with a seductive smile. Her tail continued to slide down one of the girl's legs, wrapping completely around it near the ankle.
"Well...you know..." Sylviidae said slowly, unable to keep a smile from her face. "Get to know each other a lot better. I have been dying to get you out of those clothes since the moment I met you." she leaned down and kissed the girl lightly on the neck, careful to keep her horns out of the way. Her wings spread out and over them both, draping them within their leathery darkness and shutting out all outside light. Her eyes glowed faintly green in the darkness, studying Red intently.

Red blinked, unsure what to say at this point as Sylviidae started kissing her neck, completely speechless. She knew she didn't swing that way, but for some reason her mind was too muddled to decline her offer. Just what was going on in there? "I...I'm not sure...I'm ready for...such a thing..." Red replied quietly, able to feel her enthusiasm.
Despite her decline, she for some reason started to reach down to the bottom of her shirt, grabbing the lip of it before pulling it over her head, breaking away for a moment to remove her clothing. Next came her pants, almost as if she wasn't entirely there when she began to undress. But for some reason she continued, not seeming to care that she didn't care. Left in her undergarments, she suddenly smiled back at Sylviidae, before returning her 'gracious' favour...

Light poured through the window gently, causing Red to stir from her slumber, grasping the sheets tightly with one of her hands. She could barely remember the events of last night, something about finding a demon, then getting them room. After that everything was just blurry.
"What time is it..." Red groaned, rolling over to look at the clock. It was only a little past eight, though somehow she felt as if she hadn't gotten any sleep last night.
