Sol smiled at her. "Do not worry, you wont die. I would never let such a beast wipe such a beauty from this Earth." With that Sol put his arms around her and gave her a hug. Stepping back, Sol asked "Shall that suffice for now, Karva?" Karva's conditions met Sol shook the hand of his fellow demon, Merk.
Sol watched Karva hand Merk a ball of ice that she had made to help soothe his burns. It was a strange sight... The man's burns kept catching fire which was very, very, unusual. Merk asked Sol if he knew why it kept happening but for one of the first times in his existence, Sol had no idea. It wasnt exactly normal for someone to just spontaneously combust. Unless they got a little help from Sol that is....
He shook his head "My apologies, I have no idea why you keep catching on fire. It is a mystery, no?" Sol grinned "The fun part about a mystery is not knowing." he nodded his head. They really needed to get going. He turned to Azriel. "Are you ready to go?"
"Is this all!?"The young demon screamed to the heavens"Is this all I am!? Just some toy for them!?"He kicked the ground frustrated"Was i created to give pleasure without ever receiving any of my own?Never! Not once have i.."he sits down, too frustrated to go on.'Shhh, dont worry we can fix your problem.'something whispered inside."Who-"he stopped and began to laugh maniacally - making of a young Sol
Karva smiled as she looked up at Solemn, his words made her feel more at ease, but a part of her thought that he as just saying that. When Solemn hugged her she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him back, enjoying the warmth of his body if only for a moment. His warm embrace helped with the feeling of cold that ran through her body after creating the ice for Mark.
She had never fought something that could kill her, not anything that was as large as a Gryphon anyway. A wolf, a bear from time to time but nothing that could swoop down and kill you. She was not sure how much help she on such an escapade, but she was glad to do her best. Maybe she could help track or heal someone when they are injured, those were things that she could do.
She looked over at Mark "Have you ever tried a healer for the burns? If you want I can try to help you."
She spoke softly as she looked at the burns on his neck, and at the one on his leg through the burn in his pants. "It might not do anything, but then again it might help."
"Thank you, I think that would really help" Merka said. He was really excited at fighting the gryphon, it would be a change from fighting humans, and the occasional Hunter. The gryphon was a lot bigger than any of that. He was sure he could defeat The beast all by himself but the allies would help. He could feel the cold breeze against the back of his neck, It was going to be a very cold night, he could tell. They would really need to get going soon.
(OOC: I might not be able to reply for a while, the power in my house is down)
Since they were talking about leaving, Karva went into the bar and spoke to the bartender. "My I have my bag, now I am going to call it a night."
The bartender looked at her for a moment, she did not have her hood on so her blue hair and soft blue eyes could be seen rather easily. He then reached under the bar and handed her a bad with a sleeping bag attached to it. "Thank you."
She quickly turned and left, she didn't want to be left behind my the guys. She really did want to help them anyway that she could, it is not too often she gets invited to do anything with anyone. She soon exits the bar with her bag in hand, "Ok lets go why are we standing around here."

Azriel watched the exchanges between demon-demon, demon-elemental, and elemental-other demon with a slightly amused expression on his face.
He could not help but notice the bonds of friendship being formed between the lot of them, though it was plainly obvious that Sol and Karva already knew each other, and Azriel could not help but feel left out slightly. He was more or less emotionally dead inside but he still had the desire to obtain that which he did not have. And without sufficient alcohol to cloud hsi mind, the memories would be coming back soon.
When Karva returned Azriel glanced at Sol. He was the only one who knew where they were going.
Karva looked over at Sol, she carried her bag as she looked over group of vary different people. A soft smile came across her lips as she spoke, "So where are we going, or are you just going to guide us into the unknown?"
She asked Solemn as she stood near the blond man. She did not know anything about him other than the fact he had fast fingers. "So what is your name?"
She was not around when Sol had talked to him, and she hoped to learn more about the people that she was going to hunt with. She was hopping to learn their strengths, and maybe event a little about there personalities. She pulled her the hood of her auburn cloak over her head hiding her expressions as well as her eyes from view.
A soft cool breeze blew and sent a shiver up her back. Why was she always cold? Maybe she should learn how to control fire? That might help if she learned to master it, or maybe she should try to heat up the water in her body making her warmer..... The only time she ever used that was to boil the inside of a creature that refused to leave her alone. It would not be the best idea to use it on herself until she practiced keeping the temperature right.

Sol looked around at everyone to be sure that they were all ready for the fight. He noticed a look that may have been jealousy flash across Azriel's face, but it was gone as quickly as it had ever been, if it had been there at all. Merk seemed exicited if a tad impatient.
"If my sources are correct, and i know they are, then the gryphon is in the Pindus mountain range somewhere. The gryphon is a rather large creature. Shouldnt be too hard to locate."
Sol looked at everyone individually. "Can everyone fly?"
Karva listened to Sol and as she did a mental picture came into her mind... What the hell am I doing... I hope that I do not die out there she thought to herself. She looked at the others there was no way that she could fly, she was not that adept at her current skill as far a fighting goes....
Well maybe I do not have to fly all I have to do is get in the air... I can use jet stream against the ground to do that... All I have to do is worry about the fall... humm I am sure the fall will not be that bad if I create ice in front of me to guide me... Maybe I can be useful after all. She thinks as she plays with the little hair that fell out of the hood on her cloak.
She looks at the other with a smile...I hope all my ice and water will not get in the way. Well all I can do is try my best. she thinks to herself as she watched the other for their response. She was eager to learn what the others abilities might be, so she remained quiet.
Merka Jumped into the air as his wings extended. "I can" replied Merka hovering around in the air. The elemental seemed nervous about something but he couldn't tell what. Maybe she couldn't fly he thought, trying to hide a smile. He thought most supernatural creatures could fly.
Varos has a very symmetrical look, giving her a strange, unearthly beauty. Her favorite form has grey eyes and red hair. She usually seems quite calm, with the shadow of a smile on her lips and a hint of a frown around her eyes.

This quest has too many posts that are too small and a reward will no longer be given for it unless all posts are adjusted to be a minimum of 150 words in length.

Sol glared at Merk. This stupid asshole was going to just alert the entire world that they were not normal, that there was an angel, an elemental, and two demons standing there instead of a few normal people that no one would normally bother. But here was Merk, hovering in the air flapping his wings like some great bastion of dumbassedness. The Demons of Rome did not like supernaturals who could not control themselves and if Sol was labeled as such... There would be some serious trouble.
He was seriously considering cutting the fool loose. He was a danger to them all. Perhaps Sol would be doing their race, demons, a favor by eliminating this fool who was obviously a blight on all of demonkind. Sol hated killing when he didn’t feel like it, but Merk was changing things. It wasn’t enough for him to just randomly burst into flames in public, no, he just had to sprout wings and hover about.
Sol was getting tired of hearing the bastard talk, especially when he began to tease Karva about not being able to fly. He walked over to Merk and with one lethal jab into the fool’s throat, Merk’s windpipe was crushed. As his brain began to process things, Merk fell to the ground, gasping and wheasing. ON his knees, Merk looked up at Sol’s face and he saw nothing. There was no emotion. Only bland, uncaring indifference.
Sol snapped his fingers and used his ability to control water to cause Merk’s still suffocating body to walk into a nearby alley. There Sol released him and Merk fell to the ground, his eyes bulging and the color of his face changing as he died. The death did not come easy; Merk lived for several minutes after that, struggling to breathe. He died a fool’s death in an alley, without honor, without pride. He was not worthy of being killed in a more time consuming manner.

Forgery cackled maniacally, audible only to those who remained living after Sol's brutal murder. In an instant, Solemn had vanished from sight to the group. He would notice himself surrounded by ever-stretching desert and a lone oriental man standing with his back to the Demon.
"You've done well." A voice boomed from the man's direction, though it was entirely too loud for an average oriental. The man turned and looked at Sol, arms crossed before him. "He was accursed and you have slain him. For this, you will receive reward." Instantly, it all vanished and Sol was back where he had been moments before, leaving him to wonder if it all really happened. Forgery erased all doubt when he teleported them all to a high plateau and a massive creature swooped overhead with a screech.
It was the Gryphon.
((Merk's posts will still count, as will Karva's. Only nine more posts and you can slay the beast. Good luck.))

Kyrian placed his hand upon the ledge, finally, and began pulling himself up slowly. He had known that hunting down such a legendary and powerful creature would be no simple task, however, he had to have a challenge. In his mind, there was currently no greater challenge than this, at least not one that he could survive. He took a moment to catch his breath and let his healing abilities take care of the minor injuries he had sustained from scaling the side of the plateau. Unfortunately, his ability would not be able to restore his ripped black jeans and white tee shirt, nor the wear upon his black sneakers.
As he stood there, finally recovered from his long journey and hard climb, two amazing things happened at the same time. The first thing that happened was that he heard a loud screech at the same time that a large shadow passed over the ground. He looked up into the sky to see the gryphon flying overhead, possibly ready to swoop in for the kill. Unfortunately, he was caught off guard and would end up being good dive bomb practice. However, at that exact moment, another unexpected event occurred. Two males appeared out of nowhere. One looked like a pretty boy, and the other was obviously so form of rebel from the looks of him. Knowing that these two were obviously supernaturals, and that a group was better than fighting a gryphon alone, he decided to ask to join the other males.
After dusting off his black jeans quickly and adjusting his katana on his back, where he had it strapped to make climbing easier, he walked over to the other two. "Hi there, my name's Kyrian Tidus. I am a dark elemental, I need not know your races right now, though I must know if you can help in fighting this beast?" He extended his hand towards the males, no preference over which hand took his.

Azriel stood patiently at first. But as more and more time passed, he grew ever more impatient while they were talking. He focused all his anger on the apparently idiotic Merc. he wondered briefly to himself whether or not Sol would be angry if he killed him.
Azriel exhaled, disgusted with himself. This is how he got when he was sober. He would get the urge to kill things and the memories of the many atrocities he had committed would come rushing back to him. He needed to get some drink in to him or he needed to occupy himself with something right away.
When Sol killed Merc, Azriel didnt even blink. He just waited for it to be over while shifting his grip on his instrument case. When Sol had killed the fool a man appeared before them and after saying a few words, Azriel suddenly found himself in a different place. He staggered to the side slightly, his head pounding and the world seeming as if it was spinning. A loud roar brought him out of his vertigo and he looked to the sky, his eyes widening at the sight he saw there.

Kaarme had spent months in athens, reading and gathering info on the great gryphon. All the time spent has been worth while, scaling the plateau his tail clinging onto rock faces and keeping him held on as he used his arms to help climb. The pack hanging from his shoulders held the jeans he wore when he was blending in with the humans, along with a canteen, food and the vile of poison he kept for his needles.
As he reached the top he pulled his self up, Hearing the sceam from the beast he had been hunting he smirked as he saw the shadow fly over. Quickly fixing his hair as he looked around, seeing in the distance three figure standing there, talking, he expected to be alone. Quickly he shifted into the human form, slipped on the pants and thought if he should talk to them and have them help him in slaying the beast or let them die and weaken the beast for him. Taking the better route he yelled out to them "Here to hunt the beast as well I assume? Mind if I join the party?" as he walked towards them, slipping a needle out from the leather cuff he held it with his thumb against his palm and his wrist just in case they weren't friendly.
Walking up to them he got about 50 feet, looking over each of them he smirked as he ran his left hand through his long, black, silky hair to fix it. Sliding the needle mostly into the cuff he kept it far enough out that if he needed it, he can pull it out quickly. Assuming that the men most be "special" to say the least, the urge to get out of this disguise nagged at the back of his mind. He was quicker in his true form, these legs just hindered him. Waiting for a response from the men stood there, waiting, inspecting them.
