Kyrian was a little confused at how he shouldn't worry about a mother walking into her daughter's room and seeing her alone with a man. However, when Ridley began to say everything that her mother would do right before she did: getting the beers, asking Ridley to join her, then watching Wheel of Fortune; Kyrian began to believe her about not having to worry.
The male began to laugh with the one next him. He couldn't help but laugh, to think that her life was so plain, it almost seemed like an escape for him. He had never had a life like this. All of his life had been about learning how to control his powers, what to do in the case of Tiberius' death, and learning about the different supernatural races. Then, after Tiberius' death, his life became about moving around, trying to find his father... Except in Japan, which was almost like an extreme version of his childhood.
He was beginning to really enjoy this place, and almost envy Ridley for having such a simple life, until she brought up the secret he had let slip. "Now what's this you say about being.... not human?" Those words stunned Kyrian into silence as he began to think of some way to recover. But one glance at Ridley and staring into her dark brown eyes seemed to break his defenses. "It's true... I'm not human as you would see it. I am an elemental, we used to be called magi. We are essentially humans, however the 'magical' side of the universe is open to us, allowing us to get these amazing powers we have. I, specifically, am a darkness elemental." Upon saying those last words, the shadows began to creep towards the room's light and slightly cover it up, dimming the room considerably.

Ridley sat, a judging expression on her face when he explained how he wasn't human. She thought, he was full of shit, the lights dimming could have been from the storm. She rolls her eyes and lays back on her elbows looking back at the ceiling. "And you're expecting me to believe that... Aren't you?" A chuckle bursts through her lips and a smile crosses her face. "Should've talked me into drinking a beer first, I'd believe it a little more then." She removes her elbows from the bed and places a hand to her head to feel the cut on her forehead. A pained look crosses her face as her fingers play around the wound slowly. She sits up for a second to pull the acoustic guitar that sat by her bed before she lies back down the guitar across her stomach. She begins to dink around on the strings before she slowly starts to pick normally playing the melody she played in the forest. Her eyelids slowly shut as she works her fingers down the neck of the guitar and then back up.

Kyrian sighed a little, both frustrated and relieved that the female did not believe him. Even though he felt that he could be completely honest with this girl, she rejected him telling her the truth. He felt like pressing the topic with the female, however he just let it drop as she picked up her guitar. Listening to her play calmed the male down, however he remembered something important.
Kyrian suddenly stood up and looked at the spot where he had been standing. Just as he expected, there was a large half-circular wet spot where his butt had been. He began to undo his pants before he though better of it. Not only did he not have a change of clothes on him, it would also be very awkward to just drop his pants in front of the female, in her room no less. "Uhhh... Do you have anything that I can change into? And sorry about your bed sheets."

So many fucking problems in one day, storm, possible tornadoes, guy thinking he's something other than human, and now he wants to get undressed in front of her. This was getting more and more strange. Ridley shook her head and set the guitar back down next to her bed and began digging through her drawers. She found a pair of sweatpants that her dad had left and she handed them over to him. Grumbling under her breath she went through a different drawer and pulled out a football jersey from her old high school with black and white for the colors. Turning on her heal her arm extended she hands him the shirt with a smile. There's a bathroom on the left outside my room." She said softly before she sat back down on her bed and placed her hand on the cut.
Everything was just a mess that day, the few hours she worked they had a few new customers that just couldn't be satisfied, one of them had smacked her ass and she had kicked him out of his chair causing a stern talking to from the manager. Her head spun from everything, and now, she was sitting in her room, with some guy saying he's a supernatural being, and the craziest part about it... She actually kind of believed him. A strand of hair falls in front of her face and she blew it out of the way before looking across the room at the mirror she had between her dresser and her desk. Her hair looked horrible. A pained look crosses her face and she crawls across the floor to sit cross legged in front of the mirror as she flips on her straightener. As she waited for it to heat up she turned on a Woe Is Me C.D. and turned it up so she could drown at the sound of Wheel of Fortune.
The second her straightener was hot enough she pulled the ponytail out of her hair and redid it pulling only the top layer back into a ponytail leaving the rest flowing down around her shoulders. She sings along to the song on the stereo and begins to straighten her hair one strip at a time until the bottom layer was down. Her hand reaches up and pulls the ponytail out and she slowly begins straightening the top layer of her hair. Another song came on and she sang that one too, almost effortlessly hitting every note without a problem. She finishes straightening her hair and turns off the straightener before she grabs the comb and hairspray. She sprays a little bit of hairspray in before teasing the bottom layer of her hair towards the roots giving herself some volume. When she was down she patted at her hair for a bit before she set the hairspray and comb back and stood adjusting her rather tight shirt around her waist. She gave an approving nod looking at herself in the mirror "All better." she said as she tried making the bangs of her hair cover up the gruesome looking cut, "That's gonna be a nasty looking scar." she groans loudly.

Kyrian laughed a little as he stood in the doorway, staring at the female. He moved into the room, enjoying the feel of the sweatpants and the jersey thrown over his shoulder, giving a view of the well-toned muscles covering his upper body. Sometimes, crazy life-threatening situations did have benefits. "You've got a great voice," the male said as he plopped down, cross-legged, next to the female and looked at her through the mirror instead of looking at her directly.
He shrugged slightly, his shoulder and back muscles sliding over each other fluidly, like snakes slithering about beneath his skin. "Guess you don't believe me about the whole not-human thing. Can't blame ya, really." The male pushed a lock of hair out of his face, his amethyst eyes gazing at the female through the looking-glass. He wondered how she couldn't believe him when he had eyes like this. Then again, she might think that they were just contacts, like he had told so many people before in order to hide his identity. "Also, regarding that cut, you don't need to have a scar at all. If you'll let me, I've been thinking about it, and I'd like to prove to you that I'm not human."

Continuing to look at herself in the mirror she let her eyes glance at him, well his reflection "Thanks, I've been singing my whole life." she stopped looking in the mirror and turned to him "Well what I've lived so far." she looked at him strangely and ran a hand through her now poofy straight hair, "You aren't gonna like... Lick it or anything are you?" it made her laugh, but she couldn't help it she found it funny. Her eyes glance to his toned arms, it was... Sexy looking. But she quickly looked back up to his face trying not to make that glance look noticeable at all.

Kyrian laughed slightly and leaned in towards the female, lightly bumping her shoulder with his. "I won't lick it unless you want me to," he said, winking at Ridley with a smile upon his lips. Here he was, in a house out in the middle of nowhere, with some random girl who he just met, not even in his own clothes... Yet, he was probably having the most fun he had had in years. And this time, it wasn't an elation from the adrenaline of a fight and death-defying adventure; it was something that he hadn't felt since before Tiberius' death. He was actually having fun by just being in the presence of another person in an open, friendly atmosphere.
However, he still had to help the female... And prove his statement about not being human. So the male searched within his self for a little while, taking a hold of his energy and forcing it into his lips. He would then lean over again and kiss the female's forehead, releasing his energy into her body through the kiss. He used his energy in order to feel what had injured her and quickly fixed a small fracture in the front of her skull, and then used the energy in order to break the scab that had already formed on her forehead. Once the dried blood was gone, the skin around the gab began to pull together towards the center, closing the gash on the female's head neatly and leaving no scar behind on her beautiful skin. After healing the female's head, Kyrian playfully licked her cheek before laying down on his back. "Still don't believe me, Ridley?"

Ridley bumped his shoulder back with her own and laughed, "I don't want you to fuckin' lick me. Are you serious?" she said playfully and looked into the mirror at the scar. It couldn't hurt much to let him do what he wanted, but if he did lick her she'd probably smack him. He grew silent and so did she, it was a weird silence, he just stood there, and she just stood there, she was actually expecting something interesting to happen. Like levitation, or maybe even teleportation. She watched eagerly almost getting up on her toes.
That was when he kissed her forehead. She didn't freak though, she let him do his work, whatever his work was. Ridley felt something strange when his lips touched her body, it was a weird sensation. She had been horny before, and she had been plenty of other things but this just wasn't it. He removed his lips from her forehead and she looked into the mirror to see the cut gone. He licked her cheek but she was to stunned to do anything. What the hell had just happened? What the fuck is happening? Her head spun and she lost it collapsing to the floor in a faint. She was still as if dead but her chest rose and fell as she breathed. The whole time inside her dark little world. If she would be awake she would probably be freaking out. But she was out cold, freaking out in her own little way.

The male quickly sat up to catch the unconscious female in his arms. He knew that telling her might be a bad idea, but he felt as though he had to; like she had to know what she was dealing with. Too bad now. As soon as she woke up, she would probably start screaming and calling him a freak, or trying to call the police or worse on him. He had probably just serious scarred her, or somehow ruined her life; no matter the case, she surely wouldn't want to see a freak like him again.
Kyrian dropped his head as he picked the girl up and laid her back down in her bed, careful not to jostle her. Upon laying her back down, the male would open her window and sit in the windowsill, reluctant to leave her behind. He had just made a new friend, and he didn't want to leave her just yet. But he had to, so he turned and sat with his feet outside of the window, ready to drop down to the ground below. However, he still wished that he would hear the female wake up and call him back in.

Sure, Ridley hadn't expected that to happen, and when she awoke from her short nap she saw Kyrian sitting on the window as if he were about to jump out. "Hey, no, wait."
[/i] She rolled off the bed and went to him and wrapped her arms around his chest and tried pulling him back through the window. "That's not cool. You can't just leave like that without an explanation at least."[/i] She sat back on the bed and looked at him expecting an answer, a long story, or even a petty scoff. She didn't know what to expect actually. She just knew that whatever the hell just happened, she wanted to know about. Her hand patted the bed next to her as she waited for him to sit. "I know, I should probably be freaking out, calling you a freak, or at least that's what you'd expect, but look at me. My hair, my clothing choice, the way I act. Hell I ride a skate-board to work when I have a motorcycle sitting in the garage. Most people would call me weird or a freak. So don't expect me to think that of you."[/i] She smiled at him, a bright white smile. "So come on, I wanna know everything."[/i]
She didn't actually know if she DID want to know everything. But it seemed fantastic, she always thought there was more to life than just what she saw. And now this gave her that push that she always wanted to go adventuring. A hand ran through her long colored hair. This was the strangest even that had ever happened in her life, and honestly she was freaking out a little. But not as bad as she even thought she would. This was one of the strangest, most weird days ever, and she loved every second of it. The world being more than everyone else knew, opened up so many doors for her. She pulled her blanket up and wrapped around her body as her brown eyes stared at Kyrian, so the cool colored eyes must have meant something other than contacts. Which means she couldn't ask where he got them from.[/center]

It seemed almost like some form of waking dream, a manifestation of his desires, when he heard the female call out for him. He almost ignored it and was about to continue with his escape until her slender arms wrapped themselves around him. In that sudden embrace the male felt reassured, welcomed, and, strangely, wanted. It would not only be unnecessary to leave now, it would be cruel to both of them. Instead, the male turned around on the windowsill and propped his right leg unto the sill, his left leg hanging down into the room and his back pressed against the window's edge. He looked outside the window at the stars, smiling to himself and thanking whatever gods were out there for this small blessing. However, he soon turned his attention back to the female as she spoke to him about her own abnormalities. He was comforted by her words and smiled at the female with a smile that came straight from his heart and was filled with the warmth of friendship.
Although she said that she wanted to know everything, Kyrian was not only unsure of whether or not to tell her everything, he was unsure of where to even begin. His life, though not very long, was already filled with so many stories and horrors. He feared telling her about his past, not because it might drive her away, but because she might she what he had been through and might changed the way she looked at him. He did not want her fear, pity, or awe... He simply wanted her friendship, so he decided to tell her only the harmless things about himself; though that would leave very little to tell.
The male moved around a little on the sill, the hard edge of the window slowly putting a knot in his back muscles. He would then open his mouth to lay himself bare to the female, sure that he could now trust her with his secrets. "My name is Kyrian Destorian Tidus, and I have lived through a very sad 28 years of life. However, I think it is more important to what I am, not who I am. As I have said before, I am an elemental. There are many different species of supernatural beings on this planet, and maybe countless more throughout the galaxy. Some are worshiped, like the angels; and others are feared and scorned. We elementals are probably the closest related to humans, who themselves could be considered extraordinary. Elementals are what you humans used to call magi, or wizards. We are able to use the magic that is abundant in the universe, and within ourselves, in order to do many things, as all supernatural beings are able to do. However, from birth, we have a certain amount of control over an element. That element that we are tied to determines what kind of elemental we are, and what natural strengths and weaknesses we shall have throughout our lives."
The male watched Ridley closely, trying to sense any insecurities or fear coming from the female. He didn't want to scare her off after practically just meeting her. Seeing nothing to be worried about, maybe even a little bit of wonder and a hint of admiration, the male continued his description. "I, specifically am a darkness elemental. From birth, I have been able to connect with the world of shadows, and unlike others, I have never feared the dark. I, instead, have relished it and sought refuge in it's solitude. The only problem with being an elemental is that we can easily think of ourselves as humans. So often, elementals will go their whole lives without realizing that they are part of a completely different world from the one they live in. Unlike other creatures, we do not grow up different. And that often leads to us trying to live in a human world, and hurting those around us." At these words, a deep depression quickly came over the males features and his amethyst hues seemed to darken with a sadness. Honestly, the element suited his life; a life of solitude and depression, always lonely and always hurt, staying in the shadows to escape from the rest of the world. He fell silent as he thought about his past.
