Lucius was walking away from the helicopter, wrapped in his brown cloak to hide his skeletal features. He entered the building and walked slowly downstairs in to the building. He opened the door in to the building and walked along slowly. He entered the conference room, walking along the long black tablets the head seat upon the end. He say upon it and continued to make sure the cloak completely covered and concealed himself. He sat waiting for the two people whom he had summoned to this place.
One was a Vamprye, an assassin and bodyguard much like the six males standing posted around the room. Except they where all human. The blinds where drawn preventing the sun coming through so the Vamprye wouldn't die. However of he proved aggressive and violent the blinds could be thrown open, flooding the entire room with sunlight and destroying the Vamprye. Only a safety measure to ensure his own life continued.
The second was an angel, a powerful and strong being who had been easy to find through his electronic sources. Sebastian, an ex-marine who was apparently extremely hard to kill. Thus the guards had been equipped with fifty caliber desert eagles all, along with taser guns to stop the angel then kill him. Also, a safety precaution only. Lucius wasn't about to die today.
So there he sat, waiting patiently for his two potentials. He sat still as stone, watching the door across from himself. He was nothing if not patient, and he would wait all day. Actually he wouldn't, because if a potential couldn't appear on time for a 'job' he had no use for them. He needed loyal, trustworthy employees. Showing up on time was one of those things.

Sebastian had been approached by some rather unsavory characters. They had attempted to accost him, and of the five only three stood left to beg him to stop. Pausing in his relentless onslaught, the barrel of his double barrel Cobray against the forehead of one male listening to their words. They had been sent by somebody named Lucius, and where to bring him to the male. Sebastian cocked the gun. "I don't think so. I'm not about to go see somebody who sent goons to attack me." Another of the male's stammered they where not meant to attack him. Only to bring him in and they assumed they would have to force him. Sebastian began laughing and slowly released the hammer. "You all suck, why should I go see a man who hires such weak pathetic people?" They stammered, unsure how to answer.
Sebastian had relented and let the male's go, after they supplied him with the meeting location. He now was slowly walking up the stairs, his weapons upon his person. He was ready for anything, but doubted anybody was going to attack him again. Not after killing two, breaking another's legs and leaving two circular barrel burn marks upon a guy's forehead. He exited the staircase upon the top floor and saw plenty of 'guards' and laughed. He walked past them all and to the doorway in to the conference room. He grabbed the handle and twisted it and pushed the door open. He walked it and looked at all the guards here and grinned. So his point had gotten across. He sat upon a chair and looked across at the person in a brown cloak that concealed his form. "Well, I am here. What is it you wanted me to come to this place about?" His modified motorcycle armor creaked as he leaned forward upon his elbows trying to see in to the shadows of the cloaked being named Lucius St. Clair.

Chris made his way through the alleyways of the city, the thick fabric of his coat and hat a temporary shelter from the burning sunlight. He had briefly questioned the need of a meeting with a vampyre during the day, but the question was dispelled, realizing that if things went South, it was the best way to deal with him.
As he made his way up to the building he was supposed to meet his new "boss" in, he was thankful that it produced what would for most be an oppressive shadow. He reached for the handle as his wrist was grabbed by one the guards. "I'm older than your grandparents, but I CAN OPEN A DAMNED DOOR!" He snapped at the guard, most likely announcing his arrival to whoever was inside. The door was forced open, as he had almost forgotten to twist the handle as he pushed the door. As he walked in, he noticed two figures sitting at the table. One was shrouded in a brown robe, the other a blond-haired man in what looked to be motorcycle armor.
"Alright, before we start, I'm going to make two things clear before we start. One: Just because you passed in my contact's eyes, DOESN'T mean you'll pass in mine. If this turns out to be a waste of my time, I'm gone." He breathed deeply through his nose before he listed his second note. The cloaked man smelled like calcium. A reaper? Didn't they live reclusive lives? Granted, he was enlisted to fight one in World War I, but he hadn't seen any since then. The blond man had a clean scent. Angel. Just another thing that continued the myth that they were the "Children of God" that everyone seemed to think they were. Chris knew different. "Secondly: I won't work anywhere NEAR medical supplies. Keep that in mind for the sake of the people in the immediate facility of said supplies. So," Having listed the previous, he sat down. "What's so important that a reaper needs an angel and a vampyre to protect it?"
Lucius waited patiently, even after the angel sat and asked his questions. Finally the second of the beings entered and made two clear statements. The first was that he would have to 'pass' in the vamprye's eyes. Impertinent, but that's as expected. There was nothing hidden from the Reaper. He could mentally access and receive knowledge from electronic devices all around him. As technology improved, so did his knowledge an his ease to access it. The computer in the corner, each of the cellular devices upon the guards, all could access the Internet and thus, so could Lucius. He let the seconds hang and raised a hand, his stark white bones gesturing and the guards locked the door. Both could exit if they wished, he wanted to employ them, not kill them. Also if denied he would allow them to leave unscathed as well. It simply meant they would not be included in further plans and thus more then likely eliminated further on.
The hand of gleaming bone reached up and was joined by the other as he slowly pulled the cloak of his hood back and down. This revealed his gleaming white skeletal skull, and the magnificent set of fang like teeth that set him apart personally from all other reapers. As he removed his hood he also allowed his aura of fear to spread through the room an he mentally enjoyed the shiver of unease that spread through the six guards. He then gently folded his phalanges together upon the table before himself and looked at the two. "Welcome gentlemen. I appreciate your time, and in your case Mr. Alexander, danger upon your personal selves to come to this meeting. I will not flatter your or blow smoke in your faces, and I will get straight to the point. I wish to employ you both, for you both have services I seem fitting and full of potential. Mr. Christopher 'ER' Alexander, an assassin by trade and a good one at that though limited by your typical inability to go out during daylight you still manage to always get your mark. Experimented on during World War 1, you have some issues." He tapped his own cranium slowly for emphasis. "I can and will willingly look past that. I am willing to pay you to be a bodyguard because clearly these buffoons are not in the same league as we of more...supernatural origins. I would also request the occasional hit from you that you would be able to accept or deny at not detriment. In exchange, I offer payment. A steady pay, and bonuses upon each completed contract. I will offer fresh blood, harvested and fresh from a source on occasion as well as any victims you may take, I simply ask you try to refrain from killing my other employees and clients unless with my permission. Finally, I will promise to help you on your search for a way to treat your mental distress with my considerable resources and hopefully by the grace of Erlang Shen we will find a cure."
He turned to the angel next letting the Vamprye ponder the offer. "Then we have Sebastian David Xavier. Ex-marine, discharged when a shape shifter framed you. An excellent hunter of men, strong and talented and extremely hard to kill. You an extraordinary specimen, with incredible potential on all fields. I offer you the chance to hunt strong, worthy opponents. Not always to kill, sometimes I will want them alive or simply watched. Despite my resources there are still holes and gaps in my knowledge that need to be filled at times. Plus you can bring me potential new employees. I will in turn pay you for your troubles."
Lucius unfolded his skeletal hands and sat back in his chair, observing the two males. "I also can offer lodging, if either of you two need it. As well as different forms of transportation around the world. I have many connections, both in high places and low to the earth scum pools, which ironically is where I began myself. What say the two of you? Have I piqued your interest?"

Sebastian leaned back and listened to the Reaper as he spoke. A sense of fear courses through him as the Reaper revealed himself, something he wasn't exactly use to. Clearly this Lucius was extremely well informed. He knew both their names, their backgrounds, and almost every detail about them. Which clearly meant the male was extremely interested in them both. He offered them both major reasons to accept his offers, along with rewards that would be given.
Sebastian leaned forward again smiling. "So, you are offering all this simply because you find us skilled. No catch, no tricks? I find that exceptionally hard to believe. So what is the catch here. We have to sign our souls away in blood? Go through some sort of trial period? I am extremely curious, yet have learned to not trust people and I find it hard to believe you would trust us so explicitly with out any reason to do so before hand." He crossed his arms over his chest looking at the reaper. "Finally why should we trust you?"

The reaper pulled back his hood to reveal his skull, which had elongated fangs. No doubt sharpened to make himself more imposing. It did it's job, as Chris, despite everything he had been through, was unnerved by the reaper's visage.
Although he didn't like how high and mighty most angels were, Chris found himself agreeing with this one. "Indeed. You talk a good game, but what if this is all to get some services, then off us for the sake of free work? I haven't survived as long as I have by trusting everybody." Chris wasn't exactly trusting before his time in wars, and the amount of espionage he had seen from such a lifetime made him even less so.
He leaned back in his chair, staring up at the ceiling in the dark room. If it's not, however, it could benefit me greatly. Not only is he offering a blood supply, but research for a cure as well? This seems like too perfect a bait. Was the reward worth the risk? That all depended on how the reaper responded to them. If things became too bad, he would have to rely on this angel to help him escape. The idea wasn't exactly pleasant to him, but it would be a necessary step.
Lucius nodded as the two finished their inquires. "All reasonable questions I would expect asked from any sane individuals. My responses to all are simple." He looked at the guards and made a motion of dismissal. All silently filed out and left the room, the last shutting and locking the door behind him. "That is one answer. If I wished either or you dead you would already be so. Those guards where all armed to kill, and ready to simply open the blinds. So, now you are both no longer under threat. I hope that proves that you are both can trust me, for if I really wished you dead I could have had it at the snap of a finger."
Furthermore, I shall tell you my goal. Those guards out there, well to be honest they mean absolutely nothing to me. Pawns, tools in all honestly. They are weak, frail and completely worthless humans. No offense meant Sebastian as I know you prefer human kind over supernatural. My point is that most beings this day and age are weak. They live off of others and sap the strength of others. They depend on those who are strong to support them. Call it reverse Darwinism if you will. My goals are simple; to reverse that. The strong should be in control of the weak, not the other way around. However you see, strength isn't just physical. It can be mental, or it can be in the unique way things are done. Humans have plenty of potential and I even have my eye on attempting to recruit a few. Most however..." He simply left the rest of that blank.
"I don't want world domination, I want a stronger world. I don't want to exterminate entire species, but instead lift up the few exemplary specimens of such species. That is all. Sebastian however brought up one small point. There is a slight 'catch' if you will. It is nothing large. It is simply a test, and is different for each of you. A minor test of your skills and abilities. Each of your tests will be different and suited to your skills. Are we both still interested?" Lucius sat back, steepling his fingers upon the table and watching the two beings across from him.

Sebastian leaned forward, elbows upon the table and listened intently to the male as he spoke, almost completely ignoring the vamprye across from him. The male was for the moment unimportant, not because he was weak or stupid, but because the vamprye wasn't the one offering him a job. This reaper, he was offering a intense job, with pay and reward and demanded loyalty only. That and the job being accomplished. Sebastian leaned back and began chuckling softly.
"You offer a lot, Lucius and ask for nothing more than loyalty to you and your...organization I will say loosely for the moment. Well, You have me. I will join because I simply don't have a better offer and I your reasoning and goal sounds exceptionally good in my ears. However...I must throw one last small thing in there. Your ideas and mine may differ upon strength and worthiness. So, if I kill one of your employees, I will apologize but that is simply how I am. If that is fine, you may present me with whatever 'test' it is you have in mind." Sebastian pushed away from the table, crossing his arms over his chest and grinning as he waited to hear the skeleton's answer, his huge biceps bulging. He looked over at the vamprye to see what that male had to say, eying the man carefully. He was extremely interested in the blood suckers’ response. Words where a good judge of character, although they were not everything because actions always spoke louder than words. Was he going to join? Wasn’t he? Would he demand something more, or settle with the laid down terms. It made Sebastian amused just watching and waiting for the response.

The Reaper spoke of "Reverse Darwinism", and how humans had become mostly weak. Chris agreed with this thought process. After all, he was what many supposed to be the next step in human evolution.
He had also noticed an increase in "prey" type people. In his eyes, there were three kinds of people: prey, tools, and predators. Prey were weak, often in many ways, and were only fit to be eaten by predators. For Chris, the distinction between the figurative and literal meaning of the word was slim, if non-existent. Tools were stronger than prey, but were still disposable if they outlive their usefulness. Finally, there were the predators. Predators are what St. Clair wanted to raise up, the strongest and smartest of any given race. These were the kind of people Chris wanted to deal with.
"I should also make another thing clear. I have a debt to the Daemons of Rome, which I owe before I owe you anything. If they call a mark that I need to go after, I go after it before your contract." He looked over at the angel, who seemed to be rather satisfied with himself after his own "big talk"" on how he'd kill the reaper's men if he saw fit to. Amateur. "With that in mind, what sort of 'test' did you have in mind?" This reaper was very curious, and Chris wanted to see just how far the reaper's rabbit hole led into Wonderland.
Lucius pulled his hands apart slowly, seeing as he had the two males. He snapped his skeletal fingers, which was only a flashy part. He mentally composed a email and sent it from from the computer system behind himself to the guards' smart phones waiting outside telling them to enter. Several seconds later the guards unlocked the door and entered and Lucius gave them commands.
"Sebastian, these men have a package for you. Inside of it is information and a target. I want you to kill him. No recruiting or anything because he's to dangerous and his loyalty would never truly lie with us. So he needs to be removed. If you can't do it...you better home he finishes you off. You may go and start." He turned from the angel and looked at the Vamprye.
"Christopher, I wish to discuss your role more. Your would be a good assassin, as well as a bodyguard. As such, your mission isn't to kill for assassin's need to be just as good at gathering information. So, I have somebody in mind that I may want to recruit to the group. He is a bit...off the grid and thus I have very little intelligence about him. I want you to gather that intelligence by whatever means you deem fit, with out hurting him or scaring him away." A small filing envelope was laid upon the table and Lucius picked it up. Standing up he walked along the table and laid it before Christopher. It was thin with only one or two pages inside. "This is everything we have on him."

Sebastian watching Lucius snap his.....well his phalanges, and in seconds the guards had reentered and where standing around the room. He listen to his new employer and took the package he was handed and grinned. He stood up and walked across the room, extending his hand to the skeleton and chuckled softly. He shook the reaper's hand and then released him. "Lucius, boss, you don't need to worry about that at all. You don't need to worry about a thing when I'm on the job."
He turned and walked from the room, stuffing the package in to his bicycle armor. He whistles as he strode past all the people, then pulled the door open to the stairs. Striding down them, he came to the front door and opened it. Walking out he walked to where he had parked his Tesseract. He grinned and sat upon it, pulling the package from his pocket. He opened it and pulled the many pages all staples together. He looked at the name and grinned. "Tiberius...whoever you are. Prepare for Sebastain Xavier." He stuffed the packet in his pocket again the pulled his helmet on. With a kick he started The Tesseract and roared off to complete the mission assigned him.

Chris thought it odd that the non-assassin was chosen for the killing job, but didn't audibly question it. He instead grabbed the folder that was put before on the table and started reading through it. The reaper was right, there wasn't much to go on. Aaron apparently had no close or living relatives, next to no paper trail with purchases, no profiles or anything made in his name. Only a brief history on him, and a short list of possible places that he could've taken up residence. It wasn't much to go on. There again, it wouldn't be much of a test if he had plenty of information.
"It won't be easy, but it wouldn't be a test otherwise, right? I'll see if there's anything I can find out about this guy. If I can get my hands on him, so much the better." He stood up, bringing down his hat and bringing up his collar for what little extra protection it could offer. He walked to the door and opened it, but not before looking back at his possible new employer. Oh, and Lucius? World War 2." was all the more he said, holding up two fingers before turning and leaving, wanting to get whatever traveling he had to be done stopped by the time the next morning set in.
Lucius chuckled. So the male had been paying attention. However..Lucius paused to think for a moment. Christopher had said 'Aaron' and that was not the man he was interested in. Standing up and following the male, he called out. "Christopher...one moment. Let me see that file." He extended his skeletal hand to the male and took the file opening it. He gazed at it for several long moments then slowly turned to look at the guards as he spread his aura of fear upon them.
"Are you all IDIOTS!" He snarled at them, his sharpened teeth snapping together with each hard consonant spoken. "You are all imbeciles! This is exactly why I am replacing you all with this man!" He pointed at the male who had brought in the file. "You, your cellphone now and get back to the helicopter. I will deal with you later." He took the cellphone and as he turned back to Christopher he held it out and there was a picture of the male. "This is correct. Ozark Xander is his name, and his where abouts are unknown. Last was scene in Seattle, Washington where he was born. You can keep the cellphone. He won't be needing ever again." He laughed, his teeth clacking together as he spun around, turning to leave as his cloak billowed around him. As he retreated up the stairs, pulling his hood up his voice came back to the male. "Happy hunting Christopher."
