Coding & deciphering

Hello, peoples of the world.

Eimear & Miir have a thing in hands, a diary/journal/notebook sort of. But it's coded in numbers or an unknow language, and that's where I ask if there's someone out there willing to give their coding and / or deciphering skills to help out a girl and her dragon on this (the person would, of course, be credited as the all master of the code). The diary/journal/notebook/whatever, is either a hit-list / forbidden dark spells / summons of a something terrible that wants to suck out the world's juice (is there even a beast like that around here?).
Might even squeeze in a baddass organization that wants this thing to be able to rid the place of non-humans / or humans? (it would be kinda cool to have even someone play the villains behind the whole thing, no?)

Suggestions / comments / anyone wanting to participate / It's already been used / Extremely overrated idea... are appreciated. =D

While I don't know anything about codes/ciphers, to answer your question, the closest thing to the summoning would be Nidhogg, a dragon that gnaws on the roots of Yggdrasill, the World Tree. So, I guess he kinda fits the bill for "monster that wants to suck out the world's juices" bit.
