They moved through the crowd, dodging people's bodies until they could see a large plane of grass. She examined the boy from behind wondering why was he being so kind with her, they barely knew each other. In normal situations Victoria would stay back and wouldn't let her defenses down like that, but she liked Aiden, she felt she could let her guard down around him. The demoness knew this was not good for her, and she would probably end up regretting this careless attitude later but she decided to put that thought to the side for now. Distracted in her thoughts she missed to see a nail sticking out from a wooden pole, in the middle of the confusion her arm collided with it, opening a small wound. “ Ah, son of a-” She bit her lip until she could take a proper look at it. Arriving at an unoccupied patch of grass she felt Aiden's hand releasing from hers as he sat down. Before following his moves, Victoria placed her hand around the small wound, slowly the separated skin united once again, like nothing ever scratched her.
She sat down next to Aiden “Fireworks? Really?” She asked excited. Victoria had to give credit to humans for some things and firework was one of them, it was amazingly beautiful and she remembered seeing many shows when she was on the road with her parents. The female felt Aiden's breath on her hear, making a little shiver go down her neck with the surprise and whispering about seeing the firework before in one of the festival tents. It wasn't hard to guess that Aiden was as excited, probably more, than Victoria about this demonstration, it was in fact his element.“ Oh sweet. “ She said smiling glancing at Aiden, noticing now he was still with the same clothes and make up he performed with. Even thought the suit fit him well, she doubt this was his normal dressing. Victoria laid on the grass for a better view of the show that was about to happen above their heads, placing one of her hands along her body and the other one resting on her belly, after hearing the first bang in the sky.
