(ooc: Malaga is Spain for those who dont know)
Taking the day off of her studies to get a little beach time in, Red had decided to visit the coastal city of Malaga. Known by those in her home city as a great vacation spot for its large rolling beaches, Red was spending the night camping out on the coast, watching as the tide rolled in and out.
Though with Fall beginning to settle in, and the beach season having ended awhile ago, she still took to the waters, unfazed by the cold waters. All it took was a bit of easing into the ocean, and her body would become accustomed to their temperature. If it hadn't been for her dragon Ancaladar, she wouldn't have gone swimming as much as she did now. But being an aquatic dragon, she found it helped to spend more time with him if she too went swimming. Of course he was much better at it than her, so she sometimes simply opted to hitch a ride.
Waiting until the evening sky came, Red took her usual dip into the water. Shivering at first, she slowly waded in, until she was shoulder high. Only wearing a black and green swimsuit to protect her, she began to tread against the current of the water, trying to build up her endurance and predict the flow of the water.

Sol walked the beach, warm sand rubbing between his toes. He was in his tourist outfit for this venture. That meant red swim trunks with a little chibi devil on the left leg with a buttonup shirt that he left unbuttoned to reveal the tanned skin of his abs. Sol winked at yet another female, chuckling within, it was always amusing how they found him attractive when he took away his horns and wings, but terrifying with those two little changes in his demon form. For this little escapade, Sol had decided to dye his hair blonde and tan his skin, but kept his bright azure eyes, irritated when some teenage girl asked if he was on Team Edward. What the hell was a Team Edward anyways?
Sol looked off at the sunset, it was getting late apparently but he had yet to have some fun. After a bit more walking, Sol saw a girl off in the distance, swimming alone. He tilted his head and extended his mind to her thoughts.. they were of a dragon.. Draconian, apparently. Sol smiled. He had finally found the interesting thing he was looking for.
Putting his hands to his mouth so she could hear him, "Hey! Isn't it a bit dangerous to be swimming alone so late at night?" he called to her, warm smile on his handsome face.
"Is this all!?"The young demon screamed to the heavens"Is this all I am!? Just some toy for them!?"He kicked the ground frustrated"Was i created to give pleasure without ever receiving any of my own?Never! Not once have i.."he sits down, too frustrated to go on.'Shhh, dont worry we can fix your problem.'something whispered inside."Who-"he stopped and began to laugh maniacally - making of a young Sol

Red was stirred from her dream-like state as she heard a voice calling for her. She blinked, slowly moving from floating on her back, to treading upright, making out a figure on the shoreline, telling her the beach was dangerous. Sure it was dangerous, for normal people. But knowing that within the waters lurked something more dangerous than anything that could attack her helped, so long as it was on her side at least.
Still, she didn't want to give away what she was, and he would have been in his right if she were a Human. So with a small sigh, she began to swim toward the shore, dreading the walk on the beach. It was one thing to be swimming in cold waters, but to be soaked with cold water was a completely different story, as it tended to affect you more.
Still, her belongings weren't too far away, so it was only a short walk to getting a warm towel. Though one she st ill didn't want to do, somewhat lazy. As she climbed up out of the waters, she wrapped her hands around her shoulders, hurrying toward her belongings and snatching up a towel. With that, she turned to give the man a small frown. "I guess so... I just didn't want to leave after I got used to the cold water." she explained.

Finally, she had escaped the constant flashes of pictures from gawking tourists while trying to get down to the water. So what if her hair was unusual? Now a days, more people did it while at school. So instead of taking her picture, they should venture to their own schools and take pictures of their own strange kids.
Sighing in happiness, she sat on the beach, her shoes resting besides her as she wiggling her toes deeper into the sand. If anyone would look, she would probably be the first bright thing one would see, with her unusual hair, multiple piercings, and her bright purple bikini that hugged to her skin. Her tattoos were quite visible, almost looking as if they leaped from her skin, looking extremely realistic against her pale whiteness.
Slowly, she looked across the shore and noticed a woman swimming about, Adelaide arching an eyebrow from curiosity. "Why would someone be swimming at this time of night?"She thought to herself silently, only for her to look away and across the water. "But then again, I have no reason to wonder such silly things, when I normally would be the one doing something that girl is doing back at home... ahh, home. I miss you."She couldn't help think to herself as a soft sigh passed her lips. She missed the tattoo shop, for it always kept her smiling. Making new designs to place over someone's body, her artwork spread across skin.. it always made her feel as if she was in her own world of ecstasy.
Unfortunately, Mark had declared all employees had to take at least one vacation, and hers happened to be to Spain. Looking back over, she noticed a lone male walking in their general direction and spoke to the woman. She directed her eyes elsewhere, thinking they'd want their own privacy.

Although Stilia is usually in a human form, it often mimics her true face. She has large, round eyes, but otherwise her features are quite sharp. She smiles much more then she used to, but usually only out of politesse.

The shores of Spain were lovely. She loved the beautiful soft sands, the ocean view and the lazy clouds that drifted over the united horizon of all three. And then there was the city itself. It was a beautiful place, full of the lovely architecture common to the countries of Europe mixed with the modern buildings of skyscrapers and such. Plus, this particular city within this lovely country held something that interested her quite a bit: Museums. She had spent the day visiting the different buildings, learning different things. She had always been a lover of knowledge, and since this town was the birthplace of the famous Picasso himself.
But the busyness and somewhat unruliness of the city had given Stilia a wish for a brief moment of relaxation. A few hours to herself, away from all the hustle and all the bustle of the town. Stilia had rented a motel room, but only a cheap one as she tended to economize her money. She was just as used to sleeping in the form of some animal now then she was sleeping on a bed. In fact, beds had begun to feel a tad foreign to her. But she wished to keep all her belongings safe instead of hidden away who-knows-where.
The young gorgon changed, and not merely in regards to clothing. She took the form of a human, and then proceeded to put on the human outfit of a bathing suit. A simple green bikini that matched the eyes she had decided to keep. This form was identical to her true form, apart from the snakes becoming dark hair and the scaled tail becoming skinned legs. The girl took a small handbag, putting in her weapons just in case, and then stuffing towel in there as well. Draping her mostly exposed body in a sarong, she headed away from the motel room and headed for the beach.
Luckily, due to the time, it was mainly empty. A few people still littered around, but she paid them no attention. A spot of blue, different then the ocean, caught her eyes, and she saw the tattooed woman a bit in front of her. The art on this girl’s body was lovely. Stilia felt a tug of inspiration and cast a glance behind her, making sure no one was there, before the skin on her back rippled. An elegant snake ‘tattoo’ now decorated her back, it’s surprisingly detailed eyes stared lifelessly from her shoulder blade. She smiled to herself, wondering how long she would keep this new addition on her false body.
There were two others on the beach, and from afar it looked like they were perhaps friends or lovers, the girl swimming in from the ocean to go meet him. Keeping her distance away from them all, even the tattooed one, to keep everything private, Stilia sat on the sand. She carefully rest her bag beside her, not bothering to pull out the towel to sit on. She took calming breaths and turned her eyes to the darkened water, enjoying the silent sight.

Sol watched as the female left the water and wrapped herself in a towel, turning a small frown to him. He tilted his head slightly, warm smile not fading, though signs of puzzlement could be seen on his face. Rather than read her mind to find out her name and the reason for her frown, Sol was intent upon finding out these things the interesting way.
He turned his head to look at the water, an almost longing look in his eyes, tainting his warm expression with one of sadness, "Cold, you say?" Once upon a time, Sol had enjoyed cold climes, allowing icy snow or cool water to help cool and calm the inferno that raged beneath his skin and within his mind. It was why he usually stuck to northern climes, they calmed him, soothed him, and reminded him of home.
Sol turned his attention back to the female "so youre heading home or wherever youre staying, then?"he kept his smile warm and inviting, even though he noticed the presence of another mortal not too far away and watching them "You might want to be careful, all cities can be dangerous at night." He glanced in the direction of the other mortal, this one female as well then looked back at the woman he was talking to.
Sol slapped himself lightly, stunned he had forgotten "where are my manners!" no one liked talking to a stranger "My name is Sol, a pleasure to meet you. and you are..?" he said, allowing his words to trail off, asking in a sort of way for her own name.
"Is this all!?"The young demon screamed to the heavens"Is this all I am!? "Yeah, so I've heard." Red sighed, having wished that the nicer places would have been the safer ones as well. Alas she found herself uncomfortable about being alone in the city at night, preferring the company of Ancaladar in the wilderness. Still, she missed having human, or at least human-like friends, forcing her to take the odd trip out into the wilderness.
As the man introduced himself as Sol, Red offered him a small smile. "Sol... that's a nice name. Mine is Blair Von Drake, but most just prefer to call me Red, so its your choice. As for where I'm staying, it's actually just here." she explained, pointing over to the tent she had set up upon coming to the beach. She then followed Sol's gaze, seeing that they were no longer alone, that others were loitering on the beach. "I take it this is a popular spot to hang out then?"
Post by Solemn Creed on Oct 3, 2012 15:52:38 GMT -5
"Blair.. beautiful name.." Sol chuckled "Reds pretty good too." At her comment, he tilted his head slightly to look at the two women, one a shifter and the other.. He paused for a second in his thoughts to mentally peel away the second woman's disguise, a gorgon..
Sol smiled, turning his attention back to Red "Its a pleasant enough beach, though I wouldn't expect to see a lot of people her during the night." he shrugged "But I'm not a local so I don't really know about the nocturnal activity around here." he looked at the tent and nodded. "Another thing I might consider odd, but to each his own, i guess."
He couldnt remember seeing many people camp out on beaches just because, especially when there were good hotels nearby. In fact, as he recalled, doing such a thing on many beaches in America would be illegal "Why the camping out on the beach, if i might ask?" Sol rubbed the back of his head "Surely there is a hotel nearby you could stay in, though I apologize if my asking so many questions seems strange. It is one strange night after all." Just then a cool breeze blew and Sol pulled his shirt together a bit to help ward off the cool air, thinking of purple bikinis.

"I find that I prefer being closer to the waters. Staying in a hotel or motel is just too distant for my taste." Red replied, partially true. In reality she just wanted to spend more time with Ancaladar, something that she found she couldn't do that much when in the city. Wanting the best of both worlds, her decision had been to trying to stay more on the outskirts of the cities she visited, where she could keep in touch with him more easily. Red didn't want Ancaladar to get spotted after all.
"Plus it's supposed to be a really nice night tonight, something that I don't want to miss spending time indoors." she added with a slight grin, glancing out to the calm ocean waters. Her tent had been situated far enough from the shore so that even unusually higher tides would not sweep up her belongings. She didn't want to wake up soaked with sea water after all.

Sol nodded. That made sense. Some people just felt more comfortable outside, though he sensed there was more to it than that. Again the urge to simply steal the information he wanted form her mind came, and again he crushed it. Sol wasn't going to violate some woman's mind just because he could. Besides, he was on vacation in the guise of a mortal.
"I can understand that, I guess." Sol looked up at the night sky, eyeing the stars and moving clouds. He longed to revert to his true form and merely soar through the night sky as he used to. But that would ruin the humbling experience of being a simple mortal lacking wings. Sol chuckled, rarely did he find himself humbled, and his being a god now certainly didn't help things. "Maybe I should spend more time outdoors myself. I cant imagine the last time I simply looked up at the stars before now.. but it feels like forever ago."
He looked back down at Red and his thoughts wandered off once more to purple bikinis and gorgons in disguise...

"I just can't help it to be honest." Red replied, placing her towel on the ground, and taking a seat on top of it. She had dried off enough that she wasn't freezing, so she was free to do as she pleased now. She followed his gaze up toward the sky and smiled a genuine smile, her thoughts toward her dream of having wings.
"I've always wanted to fly, the feeling of being unrestrained by the power of gravity. I've always envied the birds, not having to be stuck to the ground and walk like the rest of us. They can just go wherever they want, not having to care or even think about it." If only there was some way she could be able to fly, without the need of man-made aids, then she could know how they feel.
Red quickly realized that she wasn't alone, and ending her little explanation, turned to Sol and grinned weakly. "Sorry... most people just think I'm crazy when I have such thoughts." she explained, though she knew in her heart that was all she wanted.

Sol shrugged, smiling "Its OK, that's not such a crazy thought. I haven't flown in ages. And when i mean flown, I mean just to fly just for flying's sake. Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to be able to do such a thing." he sighed and contemplated going for a quick soar right then and there. Just for a little bit, so as not to ruin his vacation.
Sol tilted his head slightly, something he does often "But seeing you... Its nice. This world needs dreamers. Without them, it would die." he laughed a bit "Besides, its not like your dream is impossible. You'll just have to work a bit harder for its achievement." Sol stretched his arms up, standing in one place for so long was making his body stiff. Besides, purple bikinis still plagued his mind...

She noticed the two were talking a lot, making her look back across the water. Her eyes, those oh so bright white/silver eyes of hers, looked across the beautiful ripples within the water. It seemed so calming compared to her natural work, and her hidden journeys. Looking down at her toes, she wiggled them once again.
Looking over, she noticed another woman with a large dragon tattoo upon her back. It was well designed, almost like something Adelaide had created herself. She didn't like to brag, but she was good and was quite aware of it. Many automatically assumed her tattooist was the designer of her pictures over her skin, however Adelaide was the designer, Mark was just the tattooist. She even decided on the colors and shading. Each tattoo had taken a long time, all costing too much as well, even with her large discount.
She felt eyes upon her, or at least someone that had been thinking of her. Looking around her, she noticed the male looking over towards her, then at the woman with the dragon tattoo. In all honesty, the woman reminded her of the girl from the movie of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', without the short height and lack of piercings.
A smile graced her lips as she took her eyes away from the three, looking out over the lake. The shifting within the water made her think of home, the way the needle would ripple against the skin. Shaking her head, she caused her blue hair to swish about. Everywhere she looked, her mind always made her think of her work. She really needed a hobby, and not one of changing.
Slowly, she stood up and walked over to the water, feeling the coolness against her heated skin. She needed to relax; Mark had told her to do so. In order to do it, she decided to take a quick swim. It'd help take her mind off of things, especially how her fur deep within her urged to come out. Taking a quick dip would let her mind wander, and not on the strangers near her.

Red blinked at his words, before looked up at him, clearly a little puzzled by his first statement. What had he meant by not having flown in ages? He didn't have wings, or any visible way to achieve such an ability, which left her rather baffled. However, he didn't find her fascination crazy, something which made her feel a little better. If anything, she actually felt good about it, especially when he told her to keep trying. All she wanted was just a little support in her endeavours, and it seemed like the human populace wasn't really the place to turn to for it.
"Thanks... by the way, I hate to prod but, what did you mean by 'not having flown in ages'?" she questioned, feeling a little bit of regret in asking. This man could have been a supernatural, and as much as she wanted to figure out more about them, she didn't wish to cause any problems with one by pointing out their true nature. However it was in her nature to ask, as curiosity always seemed to lead her toward knowledge. "I'm just curious is all." she quickly added, rolling onto her back and stretching her arms behind her head, before folding them up as a makeshift pillow for her head.

Inwardly, he sighed. Now Sol had gone and done it. What better way to confuse and weird someone out than to tell them you can fly? There were a few ways he could handle this. One, he could kill the girl, but that would leave witnesses and he would have to kill the gorgon and the shifter as well. Not fun. Two, he could tell her the truth. Well, part of it anyways. Or three, he could wipe her memories. But hey, he was on vacation, so Sol decided to just go with it.
Sol shrugged and chuckled slightly. "Well.." he began, attempting to think of a way to explain what he had meant "I kind of may have wings.. With which I fly.." he admitted to Red. Sol slipped his shirt of for a second and allowed one of his wings to stretch out, keeping the other tightly folded against his back. This might have been a bad idea, in fact, it probably most definitely was. But hey, he was on vacation. Let Red admire his wings a bit, Sol was growing fond of the woman anyways. Maybe I will attempt to convert her he mused to himself.
"As you can see, I have wings.. with which i fly." he told her, glancing at one of the things "Now, don't be alarmed, I'm not some mutant freak with any intention of harming you.." That said, Sol watched Red closely, waiting to see her reaction...
