Tayva and Talos had decided to travel to the continent of South America, the Draconian having been curious of the region for quite some time. There was a massive mountain chain running down the landscape. She wondered if there would be dragons living there as well. Tayva knew that there were a number of them in North America, so she was curious to see whether or not they were in South America as well, and if so how different they were from the species she new.
The two had set up camp at the base of the mountain chain, knowing it was the perfect place to look for draconic beings. Plus the mountains were void of humans, allowing the two to fly as they wished, without having to worry about the time of day or being spotted by some passer by. The remoteness of the area would also allow Talos to remain in his true form, without having to remain in human guise. His shapeshifted form made him feel rather uncomfortable, so whenever possible he preferred to stay in his real skin.
Talos had gone off into the jungle in search of food, leaving Tayva to finish setting up their camp. She sat on a piece of wood, a notepad on her lap and pen in her hand, as she began to record her little journal, hoping to find some useful information here.

Echo probably subconsciously knew that she was geographically retarded, but she couldn't help but long to explore the world. She wanted to see as much as she could while she still could. And that's how she ended up in South America, lost. She knew she was on a mountain in South America, but that was about it.
She was dressed in a black tank top and some cargo pants with some simple black boots, but there were doing nothing to help her overheated body in this hot night. Echo hid in the dense jungle for most of the day so the sun didn't bother her, but she thought it would cool down towards the night. No such luck. She was just so hot. However, she trudged on and just as she was about to take a break she came across a sweet aroma.
Echo smiled a small smile and licked her lips. Nineteen or twenty, female, human. Her favorite. She heard the faint crackling of a fire and followed the scent and sound. As she got closer she was picking up on a nonhuman scent. Not even an animal. She was sensing something supernatural slowed down as she got closer. She made out the figure of a young women sitting on a piece of wood and....a dragon.
"Well, that's just no fair." Echo said aloud as she stood behind the human, a small smile gracing her face.

Tayva had figured that they wouldn't be bothered in this wilderness, being far out from the closest town. And so it was this reason that Talos had been lax with keeping his true form. So the sudden voice coming from behind the Draconian was enough to make the hair on her arms stand, and cause her to jump in sheer surprise. Her hand immediately hovered toward her combat knife out of reflex, though she did not draw it just yet. Quickly she spun around to face the stranger.
"W-What are you doing here?" she questioned, looking a little uneasy toward the woman's sudden appearance. Perhaps she did not mean any harm, or perhaps not cause any harm toward them. That being said, she glanced over to Talos, realizing the woman had already seen him, and probably came toward that same conclusion. Talos glared at the woman, rising to his feet and approaching with a low growl, though a quick hand gesture by Tayva caused the beast to halt in its tracks.

Echo couldn't help but let out a small laugh at the woman's response. However when the dragon approached, she sobered up. She couldn't charm a dragon with a bite like she could a human. She smiled as the woman waved the dragon off and came closer. She smiled politely and thought when the last time she had a good meal. This woman smelled absolutely divine. Must be the dragon, supernatural and all.
"Forgive me, startling you wasn't my intention. I was....exploring I guess you could say." Echo said, absentmindedly pulling her dark hair into a low ponytail as her pale green eyes scanned over the woman.
Despite how the woman reacted, hand over what looked to be a knife, she wasn't much of a threat to Echo. By herself. With a dragon, well she might just put up a fight. So Echo would ignore her hunger and be polite. She wouldn't pray on the girl...yet.

Tayva wasn't sure whether or not she could trust the woman. After all, it was strange that she was exploring in such a remote place for no reason. Unless of course she was lost, which would answer that question. However there was something about the woman that she couldn't shake, something about her that bothered her. "Well... alright then. We were just about to eat anyway... do you care to join us?"
She had enough food for the two of them, though Talos would normally wander off in search of his own food. But because of their new acquaintance, he wasn't sure it was a good idea to leave the two of them alone. Tayva agreed, telepathically of course, as they always did whenever in the presence of someone else. The girl lowered her hand from her weapon, before going back to the log and sitting down, the fire adding unnecessary warmth to the area, though provided one of the things they would never have otherwise: light.
Since entering into this area, Tayva had found herself to be quite anxious about their surroundings. It was unfamiliar territory after all, and there was an untold amount of wildlife that could threaten to eat her as a midnight snack. Without Talos, she was an easy meal.

Sol watched from afar. As usual, he was bored out of his mind and, conveniently, here were two mortals just standing, or sitting, there, just waiting for him overload their brains with awesomeness. One dragon, one draconian, and one vampire.. Weird mix, but hey, Sol was crazy. He tapped his chin as he thought of ways to amuse himself with the two of them.
Sol turned his head a few times, getting the kinks out before he dropped to all fours and began to concentrate on the image within his head. His body began shaking and he pulled off the clothes he was wearing. Groaning, his naked form began to shift, bones cracking and flesh bubbling, becoming a large stallion.. a radiant pink one with a rich purple mane that sparkled as if full of glitter. His hooves were perfectly manicured and, perhaps most notable, was the golden horn that was on his head. Sol had become a unicorn.
He whinnied and approached the three, breaking into a brisk trot untill he reached them. Sol stopped just a few feet from them and shook his beautiful purple mane and said "Sup."

The woman seemed hesitant to trust Echo and the vampyre didn't mind. She didn't believe that trust should come this easy anyways. The dragon stayed and Echo was a little upset about it; she hated the intimidation. The woman asked her if Echo would like to join her for dinner. She wished she could accept the invitation.
"I think it would be in your best interest to take your invitation back." Echo said gently as if chastising a child. However she took a seat next to the human yet as far away from the fire as she could. "I'm Echo Vandervelon, and you?" She said.
She held out her hand, but as she glanced past the human she dropped it. Her mouth dropped as she saw....a unicorn...pink..purple...mane...shiny hooves....talking. It was also basically pulsing with immense power.
"I...I think I've gone without food longer than I thought. Maybe I'm hallucinating from near starvation, but my dear, please tell me that's not a unicorn." Echo stammered looking back at the human for validation.

Tayva was a little confused as to why the woman would turn down her offer. Though she wasn't one to question it, unless she had other motivations of course. As she introduced herself, Talos went back over toward the camp fire, curling his body partially around it, seeming to enjoy the warming glow that it offered. Tayva smiled to the woman as she introduced herself, extending her own hand out as well.
"Nice to meet you then, my name is Tayva Aschaund. Draconian." she replied, deciding to clear up her species. She wasn't sure if Echo was human or not, or if she knew that Tayva herself wasn't human. But the presence of her dragon required her to clear things up. Before they could shake hands however, something appeared to catch the woman's attention, causing Tayva to turn as well, and see the puzzling creature before her.
Tayva had to rub her eyes twice just to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Though as she lowered her arms, she found that the unicorn-thing was still standing there, as if expecting some kind of answer back. "I know I'm not hallucinating... but it's still there." she replied, a puzzled look obvious on her face.

Sol whinnied and shook his magnificent, purple mane. Immersed within the completely false identity he had pulled out of thin air just a few seconds ago, he was annoyed that they could believe him to be just a mere illusion. After all, he was the beautiful and perfect Cosmo! "Mirage? Illusion!?" Sol asked, his silky smooth unicorn voice sounding almost melodic in nature.
He stomped one hoof "I am the beautiful! I am perfect! I am REAL! i am Cosmo, prince of the unicorns!" Sol proclaimed, so absorbed into his own persona that he pretty much forgot who he really was. Cosmo tossed his head to one side, flipping his glittering purple mane over one shoulder, glaring at the red dragon. If such a look would kill, the dragon would have dissolved into a pile of more glitter for Cosmo to add to his hair.
"How dare either of you think me not real? You are luck I recently had my hooves done or I would trample you right now!" That said Cosmo snorted and looked around. "I am thirsty, peasants. Bring me water." He told them, turning his chin up and huffing.
"Is this all!?"The young demon screamed to the heavens"Is this all I am!? Just some toy for them!?"He kicked the ground frustrated"Was i created to give pleasure without ever receiving any of my own?Never! Not once have i.."he sits down, too frustrated to go on.'Shhh, dont worry we can fix your problem.'something whispered inside."Who-"he stopped and began to laugh maniacally - making of a young Sol

Echo found the whole situation too absurd to even try and figure out. The unicorn, Prince Cosmo, didn't seem to take kindly to the thought of being a hallucination and stomped his hooves in a very feminine manner. He turned to glare at the dragon and Echo thought that in a different situation she would laugh.....or not.
The unicorn seemed very real and...magnificent. So Echo was positive that the being itself was real. However, she wasn't exactly sure it was a unicorn, only in the shape of one. See Unicorns were pure and good creatures- emphasis on the good- and this being was very...not good. Echo had seen enough evil and enough power to know that this being could not be good.
"Pardon me Prince Cosmo, but your aura is looking a little...evil." Echo said in a quiet voice as her gaze stayed up on the unicorn, afraid to take her eyes from it.

Despite the...unicorn's... rather rude tone toward the two women, Tayva simply shrugged toward him, digging through her belongings before producing a bottle of water. Though at this point she wasn't quite certain how to offer it that which it had requested. She could simply pour the water into a bowl to give it, but the creature could have taken the gesture as the Draconian considering it a pet. It couldn't hold the bottle on its own though, so she would have to risk the former idea for its simplicity.
As Tayva poured the water into a bowl and placed it before the creature, Talos rose his head at the glaring unicorn, only bothering to open up one eye. It gave the strange creature a look through its sleepy optical organ, before letting out a small huff, a puff of smoke floating from his nostrils. He didn't seem to care much about the purple unicorn, not really caring for its attitude, or existence for that matter.
Tayva noticed this, glancing over at Talos and giving him a shrug. She wasn't quite certain what to do about their strange situation either, but she wanted to play nice with the creature, in case it had some unseen power that could kill them. "Here you go then...um...'Prince Cosmos'." she replied, setting the bowl of water down before it.

As Cosmo waited for the two women to supply him with clean dringking water he struck a pose. It was quite beautiful, if you asked him. Cosmo felt that the pose captured his majestic beauty, unrivaled strength, and, most importantly, his keen intellect which was infinitely above their own. He half expected them to kneel before him right then and there. Cosmo held his chin up, staring into the sky, a determined look of unbeatable passion etched onto his face. It was well practiced, to say the least.
When the two females and the large lizard failed to bow before him, Cosmo's face twitched. Before this hour was through they would witness his greatness. Particularly the dragon. Cosmo did not like the way the creature dismissed his regal air. It.. irked him. Cosmo was tempted to spit from the taste of the crude word in his mind but he checked the vulgar notion. He was to present an example to these creatures.
When the female poured a bottle of water into a bowl and gave it to him Cosmo was shocked. She expected him to drink from a bowl like a common... horse!? He nearly impaled her upon his great horn right then and there but he did not wish to get scarlet on his beautiful purple mane. "You expect me to drink from this bowl like some savage!?" Cosmo asked her, his voice incredulous.
The unicorn reared back on his hind legs, neighing, and winds began to gather and swirl around him. Lightening flashed briefly and ball of light gathered on the end of his horn. When the dramatics were through, a diamond chalice framed with gold floated in the air where the ball of light was. The chalice floated to the draconian. "I shall drink my water from this and this only." Cosmo said to her, a smug look upon his equine face.

The situation was getting more and more ridiculous in Echo's opinion. When the creature struck a pose exposing all of it's radiant beauty, the vampyre had had enough. She shook her head and closed her eyes, pinching the bridge of her nose. She didn't even know how to feel about the situation. And Tayva was catering to its needs! She noticed the dragon's attitude towards it and was glad someone here was being rational.
Not that Tayva was being irrational, but they didn't even know why the unicorn was here, if it was even a unicorn, which Echo highly doubted. She decided to sit there and do nothing for the unicorn, but instead watch to see how this scene would unfold. She paused in thought and then asked a question.
"Did you come with a certain purpose in mind?" Echo asked 'Prince Cosmo'.

Tayva stumbled back at his sudden reaction, having figured that the rather rude creature would have shown disdain toward her action, even though she had no bad intentions toward the creature. Of course Tayva was still feeling a bit uneasy in the presence of the creature, but she didn't want her head taken off... or her chest impaled by what she assumed was its rather sharp horn.
"My apologies, I didn't know." Tayva replied, trying to maintain a kind tone in her voice as she quickly scooped up the bowl she had placed on the ground, carefully pouring its contents in the floating chalice that hovered before her. The container was a thing of beauty, and for it to have simply been crafted from what appeared to be nothingness was short of amazing. She would have considered it a figment of her imagination, but the water did not fall through the chalice as she poured it into the crafted beauty.
Meanwhile Talos saw the unicorn's rather displeased reaction, before stretching his long lizard-like body against the ground, before slowly rising to his feet. He was growing quite hungry, but he could not leave to hunt with his bonded Draconian hanging around with these strange beings. With that, he wandered over to Tayva, settling back down beside her, and nudging the side of her body with his head.
