Adam started to blush heavily as she licked her finger and it faded only slightly till she asked for his help. Slowly he leaned over and gently zipped up her dress. Carefully he pulled it up with care not to get it caught in her hair or anything else. He finally got part of the phone out of the case as she whipped it to the wall, shattering it. "I...I just found..." His eyes widen as she digs into her chest and retrieves the phone. It seemed that his cheeks would not know rest in this chain of events.
As he proceeds to take it his fingers touch hers and he pauses before removing the phone from her hand. "Thank you...." It might have been just a second but the moment trailed on. He puts it in his jacket as he extends his elbow to her and starts to walk toward the door. "I will find someplace nice... We're a little too fancy for Mc Donalds." He muses as he touches her hand, removing it from his arm and proceeds to open the front door for her.
He bows graciously for her to pass as he follows suit behind her, closing the door. Upon a few steps he catches up to her and extends his arm once more. His left arm seems to twitch slightly as his truck roars to life. Bringing her to the passenger side door he opens it and offers to lift her into it. Adam is not a strong man but he's not weak. He is able to pick her up with a hand on her back and one under her thighs. He would proceed to lift her and put her in. A kiss is sneaked in while he buckles her up and proceeds to put the wheel chair into his bed ever so carefully to not damage it.
The driver side door opens as he hops in and begins to pull out. His hand on the back of her seat as he leans within inches from her face to look where he is backing out from. With a quick turn he looks forward and starts to drive off. The GPS on his dash board is quickly changed to a place called Wild Fire with just the mention of the name. Adam starts to drive as he moves his onto the stick of the automatic truck.
Korina smiled and held his arm while wheeling herself awkwardly in her chair one handed. However it was worth it to be arm in arm with him. When he let go and opened the door she smiled and lifted her dress in a mimic curtsy albeit she was sitting. "Thank you kind sir." Then she rolled herself out and a foot or so so he could get around her and beside her again.
The truck rumbled to life as they approached as she raised an eyebrow at the male beside her. "Transformers much dear?" She giggled and gasped as he suddenly lifted her up. She put her arms around his neck, holding lightly to him then was sat in to the truck. She blushed at the sneaky kiss and sat in the truck watching him over her shoulder as he put her chair in the truck. A gentleman he was...at least to her.
She began laughing as he spoke about being two fancy for Mc Donald's and she nodded. "Besides, they don't have that great of food. If it was a fast food, you better be taking me to Wendy's or Hardee's mister." As he drove she looked out the window, wondering where this was gonna take her in her life. Was Adam going to stay around...forever? Or was this just a thing for a while until he left town?

The drive wasn't terribly long but still longer than a simple drive. He laughed at her comment and nodded. Wild fire was a wonderful place that he seemed to actually look up upon his ideas of fancy places to eat. Granted when he went it was by himself and it was a little odd, he figured this one was like the one in chicago.
Adam seemed a little nervous as well as happy from what happened in the lab not too long ago. His face is plastered with a small smirk as they drive. Techno plays ever so softly in the background as they move. "So question... do you like dogs besides your robotic one?" he answer to pass the time. "I got a cute lil Golden husky mix I could bring next time I visit..." he shrugs with a soft smile.
When they arrive he places his hand upon her as he looks at her, "I'll be right around hun." he smiles as he gets out. The truck still runs as he gets the chair out and brings it around, in one fluid and quick movement he opened the door, unbuckled her, pulled her out ever so carefully in his arms and gently set her down. Adam was showing off his speed and coordination. "I am not sayin' you are unable... but... May I?" he spoke gracefully as he put his hands on the handles for her chair. He would not force her to let him push her but he felt like he'd offer.
When they get in he opens the door for her in the same manner and lets her go in. Upon entering she would notice that the atmopshere was fancy but not red carpet. It had dimmed lights and wonderful decor. The place was filled with couples and the smells of finely cooked meals. Adam walks up and says. "Two please."
The host brings them to a nicely lit table with a candle in the center. Adam leans into the host and whispers something as they get to the table. Pulling the chair out he asks her which she would prefer. He would proceed to help her into the chair if she wanted and put the wheel chair neatly to the side or if she chose to be in her own then he would move the chair out of the way. Everything before he even considered to sit. The prices seem fairly high but not too high to break the bank.
A soft and warm smile is upon his face as he looks at her. "Thanks for agreein' to this... I'm really happy." He finished his words as a server walks up with the house wine and two glasses, setting it down and bowing. "I'll give you a few minutes to decide." he spoke before leaving. Adam smiled as he poured and offered her the first glass of wine.
Korina smiled and nodded. "Oh yes! I love real dogs as well. Cats to, especially those really pretty ones that that are suppose to be hybrids between cats and the large predatory felines like tigers and stuff. Their called Bengal cats, and I love those. They have so much personality as well as being as loyal as a dog. I just can't take care of a real animal very well in my condition. You know what I mean, though now I suppose I could build something to take care of them at least in the ways that I can't. Feed and water them, bath them, stuff like that. Maybe I'll look at getting a pet with so I'm not always so lonely at home. But by all means bring the little adorable thing! I would love to meet your pooch."
She watched as he pulled in and looked around. It seemed really nice and a bit crowded but that didn't stop Adam from showing off as he swooped her out of the car and in to her chair. "Oh, I don't mind at all Adam." She blushed and looked around, hoping people didn't think her weak because she was in a wheelchair or because she wasn't pushing herself. She was torn between this and letting Adam be a gentleman, and was just about to say something to him when they entered when she totally forgot. She looked around in shock.
This was was the nicest restaurant she had ever been inside. Not one for going out to eat much she was in mild shock as he asked for a table and was lead promptly to one. She shook her head at the other seat and simply rolled in to place and locked her wheels so she would roll all over while eating. Picking the menu up she looked at it then realized Adam had ordered wine and she blushed taking it. She waited politely for him to pour his own glass before drinking some and nodded. "That's really good Adam. This place is...is wow...I've never been to anything this fancy. Meals ready to eat and quick things or home made meals thrown together is what I have lived on."
She looked around blushing, noticing several people whispering and pointing at her. She looked away quickly then would notice other people and a tear rose in her eye. "A..Adam..." She whispered staring at the menu. "Why are they looking at me like that? Is being in a wheelchair really that bad?" She peered over the menu at him a moment then hide herself behind it from the cruel whispers, now remembering exactly why she had never gone out since she stopped walking.

Adam noticed this as he shook his head. "No, it's because you look so beautiful..." At this he moved to hold her hand in both of his, pulling it up to his lips as he leans forward and kisses the back of it. "And here's the thing..." those words were spoken with so much silver and kindness that the next words sounded even darker. "I will make sure anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable like that...." He spoke with a cold apathetic tone as his gaze turned to a near by couple that he saw point at her and smirked. His gaze locked eyes with them as he almost spoke to them. "Will never walk again...." Adam lifted his pant leg and the sight of what he brought with him caused them to ask for their check and refuse to make any more eye contact.
The pure joy and happiness Adam had in him returned as he looked at her with a smile. "But I doubt it... you're just imaginin' it hun cause they're pointin' at me if anythin'... Cause I'm so lucky to get someone as beautiful as you out here." His hands rested on the table in a folded manner as he picked up the menu once more. "In all honesty, it might also be my scars." he muses, the man did have a lot of scars decorating his neck and sides of his face. "I kinda look like I got in a fight with a cheese grater and lost." he laughs out as he puts the menu down and takes a sip of the wine.
Korina would notice that a few of the people pointing did point to Adam. Adam's deep blue eyes were focus on her as he reached over the table once more and turned her chin to look at him, their eyes locking as he blushes slightly. "Regardless.... They're just jealous of us...." The waiter came up just as Adam finished speaking. He gave it his all to try and make this woman laugh and feel better and he hoped he at least achieved that a little bit, he knows he made that one table crap their pants and that was good enough for him but he wanted to make sure she felt better.
"Are you two ready?" the waiter asks politely, Adam looks over to her and if she is ready he will motion to her to go first before ordering a rare steak with steamed broccoli. If she was not ready he would tell the waiter not yet and then smile back at Korina.
Korina held his hand back, looking him in the eye directly and smiled. "Your really think so? I never really thought myself that pretty. I never thought myself ugly either but nothing exceptional." She looked down blushing and watched as he pulled his pant leg up. She didn't see what was on the other side of his leg, but the horrified looks in the eyes of the people who quickly got their check and left brought giggles from Korina's lips. "Your bad Adam! You shouldn't do that! You can onto jail! Then I would be all alone and lonely and men would be trying to take advantage of me and my weakness..." She winked at him and sipped her wine.
As he mentioned his scars she shook her head. "No Adam. Your scars are good. They are not ugly or revolting like some. They make you look...." She paused contemplating, her thumb and forefinger upon her left hand pinching her chin as she tilted it in that direction, "more rough in a good way. Like a sexy cowboy from the western days." She nodded having gotten her description down right. "That's exactly what you look like. Just missing the long duster and the cowboy hat." She laughed and chuckled.
When the waiter returned she smiled and nodded. "Oh yes! I wanted a salad and then your chicken parmigiana over a bed of pasta. That looked quite good." She smiled folding up her menu and taking Adam's and handing them to the waiter. She waited till alone then looked at Adam and sipped her wine again. "So Adam...how long are you going to stay in town and what are you doing after?" She asked nonchalantly, her finger running around the edge of her wineglass slowly.

Adam started to laugh quite hard and let out a snort as he commented about him going to jail. "Well.. if they took advantage of you I'd be goin' back to jail again." he winked back at her. Soon he found himself snorting again as she called him a rough and sexy cowboy. This got him goin' as he started to talk with a western accent. "Well lil lady, I recon tha' I may be rough 'n' seductive but." the waiter interupted his tone with an odd look. he ordered what he planned and laughed once more. Then then question came about, the one he too thought. "Well.. I can't stay too long... I got my puppy to take care of, left the lil guy home all alone. " He smiled as he too sipped his wine.
"However... I can stay one more day, the person watchin' him can handle that..." Why was he nervous about answering this. Yes he has had problems with women and yes he had trust issues, but this was korina whom he started to feel more and more attatched to as the evening progressed. Sure there was attraction on their hunt but this was different. "I could bring him up and stay for a few days... or a while..." he replied as if it was a thought in passing.
His mind was furious as his words spoke themselves before he even had a chance to think about them. 'You'll get hurt again! She'll leave you too' was all that came into his mind. The woman he decided to fall for previously left him to go after her career goals. While he understood this, it still hurt him. Adam did not miss the woman any more, he thought her a friend but the feelings he felt for here are passed. "I don't want to invite myself and my dog..." He replies as he sips one more long heavy sip, waiting for a reply from her.
Adam was ready to move on and he liked Korina a lot. It didn't matter to him if she was in a wheel chair or not, he liked her intelligence. "I could get used to the weather up here... it's very nice..." he had no idea why he said that, no freaking idea, maybe to pass the time or change the subject. Or he simply spoke once again about his idea about living by Korina and felt the need to hide it in words.
Adam's face reflects his confusion as he mouths what he just spoke. His face was not confusing but clearly screamed. 'what the hell did I just say.' Adam was nervous and it was obvious.
Korina's face fell as he spoke of only being able to stay another day, her finger dipping in to the wine and lifting it to her eye level as she watched the single drop roll to her finger tip. She quickly caught it on her tongue then wiped her finger on the napkin in her lap. "Your right I suppose even of I don't like it." She said softly looking around the room once more then back to him.
However when he spoke of maybe bringing his dog here and staying for a while her face light up from inside as if his words had been a match. "Oh! I think that would be a wonderful idea. I could get to know your doggy am perhaps you could teach me more about alchemy and stuff. That looks interesting and potentially extremely useful." She was beaming now, looking him in the eyes.
"Oh! It wouldn't be a bother Adam. You could stay in my guest bedroom, as nobody is there anymore. Even if that would make you uncomfortable I know a few great hotels that allow dogs as long as they are house broken and are not aggressive and loud. You can stay there or in my guest bedroom until we found you your own place to stay." She smiled at him, happier then she had been in a very very long time.

Adam smiles with a soft shade of red. "Well... I wouldn't wanna impose too long... I don't like stayin' places I don't feel overly safe in... and well.. I only feel safe in your place..." he takes another sip of wine as he looks at the glass. "My place took my parents about five years to put together and hell, I was raised in it..." he laughs a little as he looks up. "I'd visit but unless ya wanted me to move in with ya... " he looks back down at his glass one more time. "I mean... I'd like..." he's cut off as his bright red face returns to normal.
The man set the plates down in front of the two love birds as a simple "Anything else I can get you two?" Obviously looking between them and getting whatever they needed before leaving them alone. While it might have seemed that they had only just begun the conversation, time had flown, it had already been about fifteen almost twenty minutes.
Adam proceeds to lay out his napkin on his legs while he gently and elegantly picks up his silverware and begins to cut into his food. The man had formal training in etiquette it seemed. Growing up with an insane mother will do that. Slowly Adam kept this polite and formal pace while eating, offering her a bite to try with an extended fork. "I would be more than happy to teach you Alchemy.... I'd love to learn more about what you do..."
What the hell was he saying? he thought as his brain threw it's symbolic hands up into the air and left the building with a resounding fuck this. Adam had lost control of his mouth and was speaking the first things coming to meet the lips.
Korina watched Adam and smiled, shaking her head at his strange way of trying to say things. It didn't bother her she found it cut and different she supposed. However she had seen the waiter with their food coming an waited to respond. When asked if they needed anything else she smiled and nodded. "Just a glass o water please."
Watching the waiter leave she smiled. "Adam...you think I would offer if it would be imposing? I would find it amazing to have somebody else in my home again. It would make the place much mor lively and less...sterile." She smiled and took small bites of her food, wanting to drag this time out they where having together.
"So of course it wouldn't be imposing. You are more then welcome to see what I do, and how I do it. I would teach you as well." She smiled and nodded, taking a small bite again then sipping her wine and finding the glass empty. She smiled and took the bottle filling her glass again and topping off Adam's.
"So Adam, what will you do? Are you going to leave and not come back? Or, am I going to get myself a new roommate in my house?" She smiled and looked at him as she slowly leaned forward and took the small bite he offered her, almost sensually licking the fork clean before she impaled a piece of her chicken and several pieces of pasta and held it up for him, her other hand cupped beneath it just in case it fell.

Adam smiled as she took the bite from his fork as well as topped off his glass. Leaning over carefully he thought how to answer her question. Taking the food in almost the same manner that she took his steak he finally knew what to discuss. "Well Loki could use some new scenery other than the city and the area around your house is just as beautiful as what's inside your house." he smirked as he leaned back in his chair, obviously putting other meanings into his words.
One issue he thought of was where he would conduct his research in the house. "I just have one question... with Alchemy... I am excited to learn about what you do as well as teach you what I know.. but... Where could I possibly do this so I don't blow up your house?" Had his studies truly been that dangerous? "If you want I could build a shed out far behind the shed... I could easily make a side walk to the shed with cement and such so you could easily get to it..." he actually stopped talking to her for a bit and started a train of thought to himself. "Granted security would be tough and I'd have to have you help me wire one of those turrets and your AI so that it can give you anythin' you need... "
Adam had finally caught himself as he looked over at her. "That is, if you wanted me to do my work on your property... I don't have to... just got excited... sorry." he said with a slight apologetic sigh and facial expression. The steak was already almost done as he finished his rant of thoughts and caught himself. Taking a sip of wine he perks his eyebrows at her. "Either way, I am thrilled to live with you..." He coughs into his wine just ever so slightly but thankfully nothing leaves his glass. He brings his napkin up to his mouth. Adam didn't want to impose anything even if the conversation seemed to lead there. "As..*cough* your room mate...* cough* if that's how you want me..." The words were messed up as he composed himself and thus caused him to flush a soft shade or two as he heard himself after the fact.
Korina was sipping her second glad of wine, watching him carefully. "Adam, you think I'm worried about that? Instead why don't we just extend the lab? We could expand it, or we could expand it below ground. Make a bunker of sorts. I have been trying to think of something of the sort to test out new weaponry. Things I wouldn't want people getting their hands on. Things to dangerous that I wouldn't want to share with somebody I didn't trust with my heart, soul, and even my life and body..." She was thinking specifically of her new teleportation device she was trying to develop.
However that wasn't all she was coming up with. She had a new idea, an upgrade to all her beautiful creations. One that she an Adam could work on together perhaps. It was something big and new. She leaned closer to Adam across the table. "There are things I don't tell people, and don't speak about in public. Things I might tell you...if your a good boy." She winked coyly, wondering if the was was to much for her. She was feeling very good, a bit warm and fuzzy although she wasn't actually drunk.
"What do you say Adam. Are we going to be...freinds? Partners together? It's been a very long time for me you know." She smiled and finished off her wine, batting her eyelashes at him teasingly and giggling a little.

Adam nearly choked on the piece of food in his mouth as she leaned in close. While the words simply meant partner, the phrase that came after led his mind to the depths of depravity. Maybe that was her intention. After Adam regained composure he looked at her and smiled. "It went in the wrong hole." He then flushed brighter red and choked once more.
After a minute of sitting at the table with his face in his right hand while the elbow held it up. "Um... I..yes...s.." he started to mumble as he once again composed himself. "I would love to be your partner in science and see where the chemistry takes us... Alchemy... machinery... Biology..." He stated this as he lifted his gaze to her with a cheeky grin.
He too had deep secrets that he would not share with anyone other than someone whom he would share his life with but he didn't want to force something. Nor did he want to promise something he might not be able to keep. Granted he could see this 'partnership' flourish. Still he wanted to do this and was looking forward to it. He cared about her and wanted to show her everything he had to offer.
Adam looked at his food and he was finished, there was still a little bit left but he was done, looking at her plate he wondered if she was finished. Adam didn't push it but when she seemed to be done he would motion in the air as if writing something. The man brought over the check and Adam just put what he had in the little thing and said "Keep it" A thank you and pleasant nods were traded between the two as he looks over to Korina. "Let's blow this place luv." Silver and coyness coating his words as he gazes at her.
Out of the door walks in a beauty in a slightly revealing and sexy dress, she walked past the table but Adam didn't even shoot the air of her passing a glance. He was enamored by the woman across from him.
Korina watched his flushed and stumble and giggled, watching him. She had meant intentionally for him to do this to see his reactions. Then he said something she just COULDN'T pass on. Leaning across the table, using her hands to push herself up and grinning. "What if a certain girl wouldn't mind which hole it went in?" She stared in his eyes then sat back smirking. Her plate had only a few noodles led and one bite of chicken but she was done as well.
"Hmmm....biology. Not a road I've ever really concentrated upon before. However I have a certain person in mind who might be able to keep me...noticed enough to perhaps study it." She giggled and watched him pay. Reaching down she unlocked her wheels and nodded. "Indeed...lets go home Adam." She didn't specific who's home...perhaps hers, perhaps his, or perhaps theirs now...

Adam almost spat up food at her comment that she leaned in to say. Red looked good on him by the end of dinner as he smiled at her. "Let's go home." Adam mused also not sure as to what the meaning was in her phrasing. He offered his hand extended to her with palm up in a motion to let her go first. One table had the unfortunate gal to decide to look at her as she worried they did before. While he was behind her his gaze locked in with one poor sap that was about so say something. The sound of a gun cocking could be heard by Korina but the man sadly saw a large length of an almost blood red Magnum that he sneaked in from his truck. How many guns did this man have?
With the gun away just as soon as the man shat himself, they left. Adam proceeded to walk with her to the passenger side of the truck. Slowly as the truck roars to life he brushes a strand of her hair behind her ear as he leans in. The finger than pushed the strand behind her ear slid down to under her chin as he tilted it up ever so slightly as he kissed her. Picking her up in the exact same way he did when he puts her in the truck and puts the chair in the back. Same delicate care as he put her in he slides the chair in. Getting back in the truck he sits there as he turns to her. Kissing her once more before he backs up and starts to take her home, their home.
