Hei Long
theme song:;
Princess of Ice by At Vance
description:;
Hei is a average height for a mixed blood, Chinese/American born child. He stands at five foot eleven. Since living in the Buddhist temples Hei had always shaved off the black hair he was born with. Now that he is traveling the world he doesn't get the chance to cut it as often resulting in it being more like a buzz cut. Scars speckle his body from growing up but can mostly be seen on his hands.
Hei is stubborn to the core much like other elemental's of his class, except for when he is provoked to much. Hei is overly protective of Chione, not letting many people get near her unless she tells him other wise. He is paranoid to the soul, any thing could be poison to a trap. Hei once enraged often looses control completely. Turning into a large stone golem and destroying every thing around him. Hei is soft at heart and caring for Chione, his mood often changes within an instant of hearing, smelling or feeling Chione. Hei often will pray before any battle and after, not to one god but to every god. He prays for their acceptance and forgiveness.

background:;
Hei Long was born to an American father and Chinese mother in Beijing. Beijing was his home for three years before his father and mother started wandering the world. Together the three of them explored every continent, by the time Hei was five he and his parents had been to almost every country in the world. Life was fun and peaceful, he was home schooled by his mother at the age of two. Life continued like this for many years. At the age of 10 Hei and his parents returned to Beijing. Hei's parents put him into a Buddhist temple. There is where he would live for the next ten years. Training, praying and living a modest life.
At the age of twenty one Hei left he temple on the news of his parents death. With the clothes on his back and the items he only needed Hei vowed to find the killers of his parents. That was the day he would meet the woman that would become his wife, Da Ji. Da ji and Hei got married only after dating for six months. They were in madly in love, and started to travel the world but their relationship would soon end. On a date Hei and Da went out to see a movie, on the return walk home a group of men attacked, knocking Hei out first and to the ground. They were both dragged into a building were Hei was tied up and forced to watch as the men rape and beat Da ji to death. That night something in Hei's mind snapped, he transformed into a giant stone golem, crushing and destroying every thing around him. Every thing except her body. When his rage subsided he picked her up carefully and carried her, his eyes closed the entire way. He found he could see in a new way, through the minds of others. From the trauma of the event, he found he could no longer see through his eyes, the image of his wife's murder forever imprinted on his mind. Hei entered a hospital, laying down his wife's body on a bed before telling a nurse to take care of her. Hei left that night. Walking for years, miles upon miles, from town to town he made his way across the continent. Getting on a plane with what money he had he flew from France to america.
In America Hei wandered, he was a vagabond. Living off of what money he could get from donations of people passing by on his travels. Finding his self in Rochester New York he entered a diner. Only ordering some toast and tea he slowly ate and prayed. The waitress who smelled of jasmine told him it was time to close. He started to leave when he heard the muffled yelp. Reading their thoughts he saw she was grabbed by a man that had been drunk earlier in that same diner. Hei turned around and quickly walked over incapacitated the man. Hei made sure the woman was alright before leaving. He soon started returning to the same diner every night for that woman. Chione told Hei that she needed to keep moving and exploring the world, he offered to let her come with him. To keep each other company as they explore the world. Since that night Hei hardly ever leaves Chione's side.

Hei worships no one yet prays to the gods so they may forgive him for his sins.
