description:;
Varik is 6'3 with an athletic build. His muscles don't bulge like a body builders, yet they are toned and sleek and ready in a moments notice to pounce. His dark hair runs to his shoulders and is usually in an orderly mess that one would think he spent hours perfecting. He keeps a small goatee like in the picture above despite being an angel and his skin is a warm golden brown from hours in the island sun. His eyes are a piercing grey that seems to see into the soul. He has a natural aura of intimidation about him; its not that he means to but his gate and stance leave little doubt that he is not to be t riffled with. Varik has four eagle like wings protruding from his back the two upper are larger than the two lower. The feathers on his wings unlike many angels are a dark crimson color, and the glisten when in sunlight. If you were to touch them they'd feel soft and lighter than air. Despite his natural rough demeanor he is a very caring person deep deep deep down inside. He tends to be by himself, but tries to include others in his thoughts is he feels that he can trust them.

The day of Variks birth was the day mount Kilueau went dormant. His parents believed that his birth had stolen the volcanoes power and made his wings there unique color. He grew up living the island life ; surfing on the beach, eating pineapple, and soaking up the sun. Varik was liked by almost everyone while he was growing up whether it be his teachers, fellow students, or people in his neighborhood. At the age of 17 Varik began learning the deep culture of Polynesian dance from a local Kumu. His passion for these dances was unrivaled by anything else when he began practicing the Nifo-Oti "Fire Knife Dance". His parents were his biggest supporters and drove him to practice and compete in competitions. Life seemed like the island paradise that everyone talked about on TV, but Varik's world was turned upside down the day when his parents disappeared.
They'd left town on a business trip and said they would be back in a few days, but they never did. Varik waited weeks locked in his home waiting for his parents to return, his normally bright demeanor dampened and wallowing in sorrow. Despite this they never came. Years had passed since his parents disappearance and he'd almost gotten to the point where his parents weren't in his thoughts frequently, but one day when getting his surf board he stumbled upon a vault hidden in the old shed behind the house. In it he found an arsenal of weapons from guns to swords; as well as news clippings and reports tracking the whereabouts of a particular Dhampir know as "The Count". According to the information the count was a ghost connected to hundreds of crimes and murders, and his parents seemed to be trying to keep tabs on him. This led Varik to believe that this man was some how connected to his parents disappearance.
He spent years attempting to track the Count down through anyway he could think of. He ventured to the far east searching the Count's know connections that could possibly lead him in the right direction. He began this journey in Tokyo, where he spent time infiltrating the Yakuza's crime family attempting to get information. While here he became an expert with weapons of various sorts. His favorite though were the two one hand long swords that he always kept with him, and he put these blades to good use performimg many gruesome tasks for the yakuza. From there he continued to follow all the information and clue he could find connecting to the Count. Each new place only added more and more questions to the never ending list. Despite his efforts he could find nothing which could lead him to the Count. This left Varik distraught and infuriated. Finally laying his head low in defeat Varik returned to the islands he called home. They didn't feel the same though; they like his Varik were missing something that couldn't be found. He completely gave up dancing it reminded him to much of his parents; however, his Kumu convinced him to learn the Ukulele. The sweet melodies of the simple instrument helped him find some peace. Varik's life became an unsettled ease. Taking it day by day ,but never letting go of the past.
Growing tired of the walls of his childhood home Varik once again left the islands, and set out traveling to wherever he felt like. In his travels he met many people and a few foes; however, he began to long for a companion that would journey with him. At first the idea seemed foolish to Varik ,but he could not deny to hollow shell that his heart had become. Despite his efforts he could not find one that he could truly connect with. So he still venture the from place to place in hope of finding someone.
