background:; Chaltah was born in the rolling hills of Ireland. Her father was a rancher of sorts, raising horses upon the farmland. She grew up learning how to ride and how to train a horse properly without having to do physical harm to it. “A broken horse is a dead horse” was something he used to tell her “when a horse's spirit is broken you take away its true potential” she took these words to heart as she and the horses built mutual respect toward each other, each one trusting the other as they rode through the hills. Nothing felt better than the wind blowing through her hair and the feel of the horse beneath her as it galloped over the land.
She inherited the farmland that she had grown up on, as her parents decided to move on to other lands as they retired and decided to see the world, and took it upon herself to follow in her father's footsteps raising horses. She never had more joy than she did when she worked with fresh, young, spirited colts. Watching them as they bound across the land. It made her smile as they darted across the land and never once raised a hand to one that bucked her off. It was all part of the training to learn what they liked and didn't like after all. She also learned how to shoot a bow from the saddle as well when she had some free time and even learned how to use the longsword as well, preferring the older style of weaponry over more modern styles.
When she wasn't working with horses, she spent her days singing. She loved to sing. To tell stories that almost seemed to come to life though they were like in a fog. It was only when she finally met her dragon that she felt that her songs were complete. Together, their songs seemed to resonate with each other, creating a world through the combination of their songs. Together they traveled the world when she didn't have any new horses to train, singing songs of history to share with others.
