My staff and I have decided to update the requirements to receive a Sphinx character. As it is such a powerful being, a character must have 150 posts roleplaying posts before being allowed to have a Sphinx. This is total posts, not posts for the actual quest. So, one may still do the quest whenever they want, but cannot get a sphinx until they have 150 posts through roleplaying (including posts from the Sphinx quest itself).
