background:;Linette was born in the cave that Ursula the wicked sea witch has captured her mother in; she was happy baby playing with the sea creatures in the cave. Except the Otters that that always picked on her; and stole her toys. Her mother adored and cherished her above all else. The first years of her life were spent in the cave trapped and unable to explore growing up on the tales that she heard from her elders. As she grew Linette developed a love of singing, but was always to shy to sing in front of others. She wasn't one for attention. At the age of 15 Linette and her mother escaped the cave for the open ocean.
While exploring the open waters of the sea Linette made friends with several sea creatures and discovered many beautiful places. One of her favorite was the great barrier reef off the coast of Australia. At the age of 16 Linette's mother taught her how to take on her human form in case the day were to ever come that she needed to go a shore. In this same year while of the coast of Florida Linette and her mother were caught in a hurricane. The Currents were so strong that they Forced Linette into a reef where she hit her head on a large peace of coral. When she awoke there was no sign of her Mother. She journeyed along the coast in search ,but to no avail.
Now alone Linette wasn't sure what to do, until one day she came upon a beach late at night off the coast of New York City. From a distance she could make out Bright lights and Loud sounds. Intrigued by this strange sight she ventured further. As she approached The sound became more clear and she could tell it was music of some kind. It was unlike anything she had ever heard before, Loud booms and strange sound mixed together into some kind of flow. She surfaced to try to hear it more clearly only to have her ears jolt with pain from the loud sound. It took a few moments to adjust but once they did Linette was captivated by the strange sound. She looked into the crowd and saw someone that was higher than the rest and it appeared that he was responsible for this fascinating sound. From then on Linette spent all her waking hours learning as much about music as she could wanting to be like the person she saw that night.
