Bartholomeus Lucian Godfrey
theme song:; Don't Wake Me Up by Chris Brown
description:; Bartholomeus walks around with a consistently sleepy expression on his face, seemingly always on the cusp of passing out on the spot. He is indeed an odd creature, as he's always been a lot more attentive and responsive than he seems. Beneath his drowsy mask lies an inquisitive and mischievous nature inherited from his mother's Fae blood; and one of his favorite pastimes is to watch people, especially when they are in frustrating or embarrassing situations. However, he typically does not like to see them actually get harmed, unless he has enmity with said person.
Other than this, his personality is very carefree. Especially after losing both of his parents, and being delivered from his coma. He spends his days enjoying what the world has to offer him and going wherever the wind, or his god, may choose to take him.

background:;Bart's mother was, somehow, one of two Pi Fae daughters born to a Rit Fae, making them extreme oddities. When it came time to clear room for an expanding family, the elder of the two sisters, JoAnna, volunteered to leave so that she could experience her own freedom; and Maria, mother of Bartholomeus, went with her. The two enjoyed their freedom, living on the edges of the town of Brierley in Gloucestershire, observing the humans, yet not daring to really interact with them. However, both of their lives changed on the day when Maria ran across a man in the woods.
Lucas Godfrey was born into a family of werewolves who lived on the edges of Gloucester, mixing in with humans, but never more than a half-hour drive (or few hours run) from the woods. A man in love with nature, he liked to go outside of the city whenever given the chance, and especially loved to trek through the forest of Dean, immersing himself in the sounds of the wild. However, he would never have expected to meet his future wife on one such trek.
Nearly tripping over the woman who was squatting to closely observe a butterfly, Lucas lost all cognitive skills after he calmed down and took a look at the woman. She, in turn, was shy and startled, appearing like a naive angel who had descended to this mundane world. The two quickly apologized, while quite flustered, and developed a close friendship during Lucas' later treks. Upon discovering that neither were of human blood, the two became even closer, especially with JoAnna's help from behind the scenes. Eventually becoming a couple for a few months, Maria decided to move in with Lucas and his family, since she had always wanted to directly interact with humans in more bustling situations. However, the two made a habit to visit JoAnna at least once a month; a habit which soon changed as they became busier with a child. Even with the child, however, the two still managed to visit at least three times a year. One time, which never changed, was them to visit the weekend after the birthday of their son, Bartholomeus.
Bartholomeus himself had a pretty good life, surrounded by a moderately-large, loving family who constantly nurtured him. At first, both sides of his family were confused at the child's lack of abilities from either of their bloodlines; he never grew to shift into an animal form, nor did he ever manage to summon a beast familiar to him. Around the time he was in year four of primary education, it was discovered that he had an ability to create simple illusions to trick people, and that he did carry his mother's severe weakness to iron, yet he was not bound by her inability to lie. By his eighth year of education, Bart discovered that he was able to randomly teleport himself around, however he tried his best not to do it too much until he gained a better mastery over it.
At the age of 17, Bart was able to teleport to places he had been before, as long as he could accurately remember it. He had also developed his ability to create illusions, with the help of his aunt JoAnna, and used them to aid in his pranks upon his family members, and random victims in public.
However, his simple and charming life ended the weekend after his nineteenth birthday. While on the way to visit JoAnna, a deer appeared in the middle of the road, in front of the family's car. Sadly, the deer had chosen a dark, rainy day to do so. Lucas, fearful of harming the innocent deer for no reason, yanked the steering wheel to the side in order to avoid the creature that had appeared before them. Unfortunately, he lost control of the vehicle in the rain and, after falling down a slope, crashed into the trees that surrounded them, with both him and Maria dying very soon after. Bartholomeus, who had been sleeping in the backseat, teleported out of reflex to a safe location, JoAnna's house, when his subconscious realized the dangerous situation he was in.
A week later, and the young Curupira lies in a bed at his aunt's place, stuck in a coma.

Bartholomeus shall soon come to worship Somnus, Lord of Dreams.
