UUTO ATTCHITUK
theme song:;
HEROES by DAVID BOWIE
description:;
Attchituk is a towering beast of a creature. He is covered from head to toe in a coarse, brown fur that protects him from the harsh elements of living in the wilderness. He has a tall forehead with widely spaced, umber eyes. In most cases his expression is that of a dumb brute, constantly confused. He is thick and covered in muscle as he eats nearly anything he can find. Little fat resides on his body due to his active lifestyle.
Even though he has the appearance of a hulkish brute, Attchituk is a very timid creature when it comes to things he is unfamiliar with. He tends to keep to himself and thus is not very sociable. He is extremely distrustful of others but may be won over by the offer of food. If his loyalty were to be gained through trust he would make an irreplaceable companion.

background:;
Deep in the darkest part of a wooded mountain side a child was born into secrecy. His world, his family, his life; they would always be clouded in secrets. He was brought into this world by a single mother. Uuto never knew his father. Heck, he never even knew if he had one at all. The only other being he knew existed was his mother - and perhaps a few birds or woodland creatures here or there.
As he grew older he became more and more curious about his surroundings. At the age of five he ventured from the burrow that was his home. That is, he traveled farther than the entrance way where he would collect berries, leaves, and twigs to sustain both himself and his mother. She would never leave the den, and would grunt and growl angrily if Uuto even dared to try. The farther he ventured the more he discovered. Different kinds of plants and wildlife loomed within the woods. He found a stream full of fresh, clean water - very different from the murky, muddy rainwater he was used to. He made the journey safely and returned home during the twilight hours.
Years passed and every day the Sasquatch would venture further, testing his boundaries. It was at the young age of twelve when tragedy struck. The young adolescent wandered into an open field. While frolicking about he was caught off guard by two very loud noises. Thunder from the west. However, this thunder did not originate from the sky. As the sound subsided a sharp pain grew in the juvenile's right leg. Blood began dripping from the wound, dampening his long, auburn fur. He let out a loud shriek. He collapsed backward onto the ground, crying for his mother. Two creatures, whom he would later identify as men, crept from the bushes. They were shouting cries of joy and triumph as the young beast sit sniffling in the dirt. A bellowing roar shook the nearby forest, sending birds bursting from the treetops. A large, bear-like creature charged out from the cover, quick as a bolt. Uuto sniffled, a small smile of relief crept across his maw. It was his mother.
Before the men had time to react she smashed one of them in the side of the face with her massive arm, flinging him across the valley. She towered over the remaining human and let out a deep bellow. As he fell back onto his rear he readied his gun and fired. Time seemed to stand still for a moment. Uuto watched as his mother toppled forward on top of the man. He clambered to his feet, limping towards her. She let out a hoarse cry telling him, "Go to the trees. Go to the trees." With tears in his eyes he obeyed, gimping into the protection of the forest. To this day he is still unsure if his mother is alive or if the men killed her. He likes to think the former is true.
It has been more than twenty years since the Sasquatch last encountered any form of intelligent life. Due to this he has lost most of his ability of speech. He tends to stick to the wooded areas, only venturing into open spaces when certain the coast is clear. He lives a solitary life, migrating when he has to and doing whatever it takes to survive.
