Vorota Beast



A beast of icy myths and water domains, rumoured to be a possible pleisosaur living in the lacks. However reality is far from so simple. The Vorota beast, as it has been called is in fact a reptilian. However this large scaled, four legged beast stands eight feet tall, fifteen feet long and lives in the frigid lakes through out Siberia. That is because this creature is in fact warm blooded, instead of cold blooded like reptiles typically are. The Vorota beast is and omnivore that lives upon the icy shores of the lakes, diving in the sub-zero waters to hunt for fish and plants. It also hunts larger prey such as caribou, elk, and occasionally people about in the wilds however much prefers to live and remain near. This creature is extremely powerful, with claws and teeth to rip and tear and rip flesh, with the strength far exceeding a gully grown grizzly bear. It's scaly hide is cabale of resisting small arms fire and bladed weapons, and for it's last trick this monstrous lizard packs the ability to regurgitate icy blasts of water that it has swallowed which freezes and preserves victims for the monster to feast upon later.



I am not good at coming up with these quest items, so feel free to change them or something if you do not like them.



Regular quest item: Frost Dagger

A fang of this creature that can be used as a dagger, causing light frost damage that could cause frost bite upon the flesh where the opponent is wounded.



Special quest Item: Heart Gem

The frozen heart of the Vorota Beast that will never defrost. The holder of this item can withstand the freezing tempatures of the Siberian wilderness.

Sand Walker

The sandwalker is a horrible creature very much like a cross between a crab and scorpion. The creatures are exceedingly rare, and very little is known about these monsters. Such as there is known knowledge how these creatures breed, are raised, or anything about their life cycle. What is know is about the large, fully grown creatures that appeared randomly, seeming from no where. Sand walkers are large, about ten feet tall and covered in impressive armor plates while scuttling across the sand like crabs upon four legs. These plates are extremely durable, able to with stand large caliber weapons and deflecting normal bladed weapons with ease because the creatures who live in the desert must survive the constant blasting of sand particles against their exoskeletons. They have two powerful pincers that are quite capable of seizing a being and crushing the life out of their bodies. They also have a large, powerful scorpion like tail, capable of striking in the blink of an eye and delivering a particularly deadly dose of venom.

Common Quest Item: SandWalker's Antidote
An anditode created by the sandwalker to protect it from it's own poison. This can be used to cure any poison, but there is only enough for one swallow. Use wisely adventurer.

Unique Quest Item: I got two Ideas here

1: The Sandwalker Scale

A powerful shield capable of being wielded to defend the user against just about any physical attack.

or

2: The Sandwalker's Dagger

A dagger, crafted from the stinger of the sandwalker's tail that is capable of injecting a brutal neurotoxic venom.

Nue

A nue has the head of a monkey, the legs of tiger, a tail with a venomous snake, and the body of a tanuki (raccoon dog) and is thought to be a relative to the european chimera. It is about the size of a typical lion or tiger, but are much more dangerous then these common place creatures. With razor sharp claws and fangs, the nue can attack somebody and devour them while the venomous snake tail can delivering paralyzing bites. The true danger of the Nue however is it's ability to emit poisonous, diseased clouds of gas that can cover large areas and disease both humans and animals alike with this cloud of deadly gas.

I have NO ideas about quest items here...so anybody got some input?

Lou Carcolh

A massive serpentine mollusk that lives off the French coast. This creature has a serpentine body, covered with hard scales that exude a slime and a massive mouth surrounded by twenty four tentacles that can extend and contract. It has a massive shell upon it's back that it lives inside, and will retreat inside of for protection. The shell is extremely durable, able to with stand a variety of attacks weapons, but the skin of the creature is extremely soft. The slime excreted is a paralyzing agent, and helps the monster capture and drag victims back to it's fanged maw to be swallowed whole.

Lau

A dinosaur like creature living in the dense papyrus filled swamps of the Sudan. It grows to about seven feet tall, and about twelve feet long. It has the body shape of a typical theropod, almost looking like a more stocky velocoraptor with several key differences. The first is that the Lau has a small fin upon the back tail, allowing it to swim decently amongst the swampy terrain. It also have large webbed feet, helping it to walk and run along the mud after prey, or to swim quickly through the swamp itself. The last notable difference are the dozen tentacles dangling about the mouth, helping the creature catch and push food inside the mouth. These creatures hunt in packs of nine to twelve creatures, working as a team to herd and direct prey to become mired in the muck of the swamps it lives in where they can feast upon the prey at their leasure. They are extremely strong, able of both running on land and swimming in the water giving them the advantage to suddenly appear from both directions to out flank prey.
