This kind of adventuing was something Eve definitely wasn't used to. She felt dirty, and wanted badly to be home running her business in her nice comfy chair without filth on her custom made leather heels. She looked down at the beauties and figured there was no way to resurrect them now.
Sera also must be worried about her, and only the gods know what kind of trouble she had been causing while Eve has been gone. Although it had surely been an interesting time so far, Eve realized this was not her cup of tea and she should leave now before it's too late.
"I really appreciate everyone taking the time to help me. But I don't want to be a burden anymore." Eve smiled and hoped they knew that she was being very sincere. "Good luck with freeing Nysa. Maybe we will meet again someday. Be safe." After that Eve headed back in the direction they came from. It wasn't too far of a walk. She was sure she could manage it alone.

Eve decided she no longer wished to be burden. Stilia was unsure of how she felt. So many were leaving, despite Flow having literally predicting their arrival. Stilia had believed they had been chosen by the will of the Goddess, but with all these people deciding they could no longer do it, she wasn't so sure. Stilia insisted Eve took a tent with her, as she would be unable to make it all the way back before sunrise.
After the departure, they continued on. So far, nothing had happened. In fact, it was a bit odd that nothing whatsoever had threatened them up to this point. They even managed to cross the field without any Caspariaks targeting them. And although Stilia had made sure they all laid below the grass when they slept, to hide themselves, it still seemed oddly lucky.
After a few days, they managed to reach the seaside village that Flow had told them about. It was quite small, the Fauns were living in wooden shacks. They also had a 'wall' around the village that composed of sharpened sticks buried into the ground. They had some farmland, but there seemed to be a boat per person. When they arrived, however, most of the town was empty, gone fishing. Only a few remained, to tend the small fields and such.
The fauns seemed surprised by their arrival, and an old, thin faun approached them. His face was beginning to wrinkle, meaning he was very well on in his years, and his horns were quite long, curling over like a ram's. Stilia told them of their plight, to free the Goddess, and that they were sent by Flow and King Gaghozz. At the mention of such prestigious names and such a noble quest, the fauns insisted they have a feast that night, and that they stay with the village, so that a fisherman could bring them to the Isle of Nysa the next morning.

Jack is an average, unassuming guy. He stands bashfully, avoiding eye contact as he looks around at everything except the person he's speaking with. A closer look. however, will reveal more.
Beneath this carefully neutral appearance, Jack's body is lean and efficient. He's slow to anger and behind his bashful demeanor is an assertive individual observing his environment with an almost predatory nature.

Jack sighed, disappointed with how many people had given up on the quest so far. The journey hadn't even been difficult. From what he'd heard so far, Nysa could be pretty dangerous. But that hadn't been attacked by a single monster the entire length of the trip. What was everyone running away for? Abandoning such an obligation for virtually no reason was just beyond his understanding. But the young man supposed it didn't matter. IF they didn't want to be there, it was probably for the best that they left sooner rather than later.
As they continued, Jack still didn't speak. He spent most of his unoccupied time thinking about magic and wishing he had at least one friend with him. Not necessarily to chat up, but just for the companionship. Paquito didn't talk but the young man still liked to just hang out with the Ak. Eventually they reached some seaside village and words were exchanged. Jack didn't say much and he continued to mostly keep to himself, content that they'd be setting sail soon.
Mozoga watched as they lost yet another member. Eva decided that she did not want to be here, and so left just the three of them to complete the quest alone. Stilia gave her a tent so that she would have somewhere to rest and sleep during the day that would be safe out of the sun. Mozoga watched as the vamprye left, shaking her head slowly from side to side. She supposed that it was better that the weak leave now, because she knew that Nysa was an exceptionally dangerous place and that they would not survive or hold them back if anything truly happened and danger found them.
The three remaining members of the quest pushed on, and eventually came to the site of a small faun village made of shacks upon the side of the sea. Mozoga watched as Stilia conversed with a old, whizen faun who insisted they stay the night and that a feast be made in there honor. This caused Mozoga to frown, looking around at the poor village and she did not want them to make a feast. It would be a waste of resources for the poor people of this town and that, in Mozoga's opinion, was not very fair of them to take advantage of these people like that. Yet Mozoga knew she was not the smartest person in the world, and she let Stilia do the talking and decision making because Mozoga just was not that sort of person.

Stilia smiled at the kind old faun, and cast an eye towards Mozoga and Jack. Mozoga didn't say anything, and Jack couldn't understand anyways, but Stilia accepted. It would be rude to say no to the faun, and he obviously wanted to pay his respects to his Goddess by having this feast. So, they were shown to their 'rooms'. They were sharing a shack with some other Fauns, but damn were those fauns happy to host the 'future liberators of Nysa'. It was a very big deal to them. Their Goddess would finally be freed from the volcano.
The feast was delightful. Not because of the taste, although the taste was good. But because of the fact Stilia got to experience all sorts of Nysan things. The feast was mostly compromised of different fishes, since they were a fishing village, but Stilia did not recognize any of them. There were a few vegetables (she assumed they were vegetables), here and there; both gathered from the wild and harvested from their farms. She asked questions about every dish, causing the Fauns to laugh at her curiosity. But she wished to expand her knowledge of edible things in Nysa. She mostly asked what they looked like in the wild and how to prepare them, for future excursions. After the meal, Stilia took out her lantern, given to her by the Gods. She played stories, and they appeared based on how she visualized them. The fauns were delighted, especially the children who kept trying to grab the moving images.

The young man couldn't help but be rather disappointed when he reached their 'rooms', discovering that it was, in fact, just a simple shack they were all expected to share with each other and some of the fauns from the village. Jack had been hoping for some privacy. He just couldn't completely relax when he was around other people, especially in an unfamiliar place, let alone while he was on an entirely foreign planet. Anyways, he wasn't terribly interested in participating in the feast or celebration or whatever, but still picked at his food and tried to not be too rude. He didn't speak Nysan so he couldn't even understand what anyone was saying. Jack told himself to remember to learn it, figuring he'd probably need it if he was gonna explore. And Jack was definitely gonna be doing some exploring. A whole new planet? He couldn't pass up such an opportunity. Maybe they even had their own unique magics and clearly they had some unique creatures native to their planet. The young man couldn't wait to learn all he could.
Mozoga sighed as the feast was accepted, and resigned herself to having to...not tolerate the feast but what was it she was looking for? She would have to survive the feast with the guilt that these poor fauns (literally and figuratively) would not be spending almost an entire year's supply of food upon them. All in the name of some higher dignitaries who they had probably never meet in a land far away. It was depressing, and slightly sad to her. She was upset by this, but decided to enjoy the feast and simply try to put these thoughts away to another place.
She ate the food place before her, but she did not shovel it down like she normally would have. Being larger then most beings...she also needed more food to fuel her personal metabolism that powered her massive muscles. She picked at her food, respectfully eating the food but not taking to much hoping that the fauns might try to reuse it or ate it in the next few days themselves as this was sure to be more food then they would have had in a very long time themselves.
While Stilia ate and sought more knowledge, Mozoga tried to fill her sometimes when the fauns where to busy or simply not around to engage her directly to answer her questions. She also tried to engage Jackson in conversation as well seeing as the male had been pretty quiet their entire trip so far. She wanted to see if the male wanted knowledge, or anything else about what they where eating or anything else as she could translate for the male if he wanted.

The Fauns were having a jovial time. Many of them adored the oppurtunity to celebrate, well, anything. It was a strange characteristic in their race, and one Stilia did not mind. They of course brought out their homemade wines, and although she had a single glass, she refrained from anything else. Although, their wine was quite good.
That night they were brought to their 'room', and Stilia went straight to sleep. She would not stir until dawn rose the next morning, and a Faun came to fetch them. They had a small breakfast of fish and fruit, freshly caught and picked, before the faun (who's name was Fauriel) brought them to his boat, and set course for the nearby island.
As they approached, Stilia was filled with awe. She'd been a bit disappointed until now, the lack of adventure, the lack of camaraderie, she wondered why they were chosen. What could they do that the others couldn't? It wasn't a hard trip. But all these doubting thoughts fled, although for a brief time, when she saw the volcano up close. It truly was magnificent. The entire thing was shaped as a giant woman, her arms reaching towards the sky, as if stuck eternally in some beautiful dance. She could see lava flowing here and there, and when it hit the water it sizzled and solidified, slowly making the island bigger.
Fauriel brought the boat to a halt in the shallow waters, and got out to pull it into shore. The shore was lovely; their were remnants of wilted flowers from past offerings. Fruit trees grew in abundance here, the offerings having either disintegrated or being eaten by animals, the seeds falling to the ground. It was a beautiful orchard, and to continue this cycle, Fauriel placed down his own offering of fruit and flowers.
"We give, and Nysa returns. These fruit trees help the village prosper. With the fish, we never suffer." Fauriel told them, before bidding them farewell and returning to his boat.
Stilia looked up at the volcano, and mentally prepared herself for the long climb upwards.

Jack stayed for as long as it seemed necessary to be polite. He was exhausted. Not so much physically as he was mentally. The young man was positively burning up with unused magical energy and he needed to relax since it had quickly become apparent that there would be no need for his talents at this particular point in time. Uh, he was bored. Jack relaxed in the tent they'd been, what, loaned? Gifted? Doesn't matter. Anyways, he reclined on his back, a blanket rolled up under his head. The young man closed his eyes and daydreamed, going over things he intended to do back home and things he intended to do in Nysa, now that he had access. Some of it good, some of it could be interpreted as not so good. Eventually, he would fall asleep and awaken shortly thereafter, fully rested. Once awake, Jack would pass the rest of the time by planning and going over his magical studies, what little he'd brought with him. The young wizard guarded the tome closely and it was nonsense to anyone else but to him was all the knowledge he'd compiled about things magical, including concepts he'd not fully grasped yet.
When dawn came, Jack went through all the usual motions of the morning. The boat ride wasn't too bad. It only gave him more time to sit there and think about stuff, bored. When they reached the shore, he climbed out, eyes on the surroundings. The volcano seemed like work but he'd climb it, since it was becoming apparent that they would have to. The young man popped a handful of candy into his mouth, chewing determinedly.
Mozoga went to sleep that night, hoping that the morn brought with it something different. Stilia was being an excellent companion, easy to speak with and eager for knowledge about Nysa that Mozoga was all to happy to give to her. However, it seemed like the group was fall apart rapidly. They had dwindled down to no less then three members of the original quest, with nobody else having come to replace the lost members. It was disheartening to see so few cared about seeing something so important all the way through til the end. This quest, it meant major important things for her lands and people. The male with them, he spoke little and remained aloof and to himself constantly. He never engaged in conversation, and remained quiet and apart from them. It was disheartening, because with out cooperation things could end badly for the group really easily. With these things on her mind, Mozoga finally drifted in to a restless sleep.
Waking up in the morning, Mozoga packed and ate breakfast with the others. She enjoyed the fresh food, but it was tempered out by the quiet of the other two who seemed lost in their own thoughts. After eating, they all got in to a boat and Mozoga watched as the island slowly grew closer. Her eyes remained riveted upon it, watching intently. The island was magnificent, and was absolutely breath taking to behold. She could not believe her goddess lived upon this place somewhere, and had chosen her to help her out. She said a small prayer under her breath Goddess Nysa before she got out of the boat and stepped upon the island. She looked around, then up the mountain. It was definitely a climb, but Mozoga knew she was able and capable of doing it fairly easy.
