Welcome to Fenwick's Wonders
On the surface, the building with the red and black sign appears to be a simple brick-and-mortar knick-knack shop. The main room, filled with shelves and display cases loaded with various and sundry items, most probably just garbage that means next to nothing for most people, though back by the register are shelves with books, new and old, paperback and hardbound, in multiple languages. However, someone who enters the shop and gives the proper code-phrase - known only to those that know who and what the proprietor is - will find that there is more than meets the eye to this shop.
Upon giving the proper code-phrase, the customer is shown through a door with a heavy curtain to a steep set of stairs, leading down into a clean, well lit basement, lined with various implements and tools useful only to a Hunter, as well as several more shelves of books in even more languages than the ones upstairs, and some of these in languages long since 'forgotten'. Crucifixes, rings of garlic, vials of holy water, stakes in many woods for various supernaturals, trays of silver, and more line the shelves in this secret room, as well as bandage rolls, jackets, pants, hats, leather bracers, and other articles of clothing, all in perfect condition, as if they had been made just the day before.
The appropriate phrase and counter-sign are a small exchange, initiated by the customer. "For the good of the balance." "To protect mankind." "And keep the world safe for all who live within it." Tagged: @open Words: Irrelevant Notes: Yes, an actual shop.
