Kage sat there, watching the other three as they began interacting between themselves. He was content to sit there and watch, however when the bar tender who had announced her name as Ilya offered drinks, on him of course before stating it was a joke and that they where on the house, and began to pour four of them he was amused. He raised his hand, waved it softly to indicate that he did not wish to drink. Alcohol would impair his judgement and possibly his movements. He could not have that happening when he was expecting a fight to come.
"No alcohol for me, thank you Ms. Ilya. Somebody else may have it, and if you wish for compensation then I can provide it."
He then reached up and pulled his hood up and over his head, casting the shadows over his face and obscuring his features once again as he resumed his waiting. His eyes moved from the three others to settle upon the door, waiting for the person he was here to meet and find. If memory served him correctly, the individual should be there in just a few minutes now and Kage could do what he had come here to do.

Jack was munching on some gummy bears when, much to his surprise, Linette asked him for some. Now, normally he was a pretty nice guy. But when it came to his candy he could be a little possessive. Luckily, most strangers didn't tend to ask him for some. This put him in a difficult position because he only really had two options. Share his precious candy with strangers or look like the selfish jerk who didn't want to hand over a couple gummy bears.
Part of the young man wondered if that had been a calculated move the blue haired woman's part. Or perhaps Linette was simply used to just getting the things she wanted, being as pretty as she was and apparently a minor celebrity of some sort. Jack definitely toyed with the idea of saying no, just because he didn't want to possibly share his candy with someone who might be trying to manipulate him, but in the end he didn't mind so much. He was a fairly generous person after all.
"Sure," Jack replied, holding out the bag almost immediately after she'd asked.
Ilya poured them shots and the young man thanked her before downing his. The feeling was pleasant as it settled in his stomach, and Jack let out a contented sigh. He figured one shot couldn't do too much damage. The young man had a fairly respectable tolerance for such things.
"So Ms Ilya," He began, pausing to chew more candy. "Do you own this place?" Jack waved around, indicating the pub.

Lin joyfully accepted the gummy bears from Jack; his hesitation to share was obvious but she couldnt blame him for gummy bears being delicious.
Alcohol wasn't something Lin normally had, her manager constantly reminding her it ofteb led to bad publicity; however, she fealt that it would be ok to indulge a little bit.
Tentatively she took the small glass from the counter and downed it in one gulp. The pungent liquid burned going down and left butterflies in her stomach after words. "Wow, that was something" Lin said while coughing
Ilya took what was to be Kage's shot glass and held it up to him in an absent 'cheers' of sorts before downing the liquid easily and graciously. "Suit yourself -- er, I don't think I caught your name, mate?" Ilya said, her words directed towards the ninja-esque individual. She beamed a smile of good nature as the others took one shot -- but one shot just wouldn't do through a night that deserved dimmed wits and heightened spirits. Ilya filled each glass to the brim once more, again whether or not Jack and Linette would take it, and swallowed both her own glass and the shinobi's. That was four shots for little Ilya, and that was just a warm up.
She laughed once, briefly at the question posed to her. "No, I don't own this. The old fart that does was nice enough to give me a job and a place to stay. I mean, I had the credentials but I don't do well with the languages around here." Ilya raised her shoulders in a half-hearted shrug and wiped her mouth with her sleeve. She then looks to Linette, gesturing to the glasses of gin. "Good, ain't it? It's a century old, it says. Mainstream pop royalty deserves a good choice of alcohol."
"I do not want to be human - I want to be myself. They think I am a lion, that I will chase them. I will not deny I have lions in me. I am the monster in the wood. I have wonders in my house of sugar. I have parts of myself I do not yet understand."

Kage watched as the bar tender Ilya drank first her own glass, then lifted another (presumably what would have been his) to him in a silent cheer with a nodded and drank it as well. He returned her nod, bobbing his head lightly in return as she drank. He watched with amusement as the apparently famous person in their midst took her drink, and promptly entered a small coughing fit. He went to stand, to help pat her upon the back gently but she got over it fast enough prompting him to relax back in to his seat. He knew how she felt, strong liquor took some getting use to and that was why when on the rare occasions he did drink he stuck to warm sake. Jack downed his drink with ease, showing that he had drank before.
Kage watched as Ilya poured more shots for everybody, and two again as well. The door opened, and in walked a single male character. Kage glanced at him, and instantly sat up a little bit straighter. Reaching inside his cloak, he pulled out a photo that had been folded in half and unfolded it between his thumb and forefinger as the male approached the bar. Kage compared the picture he was holding to the male carefully, making sure that this was indeed who it was he was after. The newcomer stopped at the bar, grunting loudly then demanding a drink from the bartender.
Kage slowly folded the photo back up, and slipped it inside his cloak in one of the hidden pockets with in and rolled his shoulders. It was almost time to get started working, but he was going to wait just a few seconds before making his move. Let the male settle in for his drink, seeing as he had not seemed to have noticed Kage sitting in the corner but was suddenly very occupied with flirting with the beautiful pop singer nearby.

Jack noticed Ilya ask Kage for his name but the ninja either didn't hear her or he chose not to answer. Either way, the young man figured it was none of his business and definitely not his place to answer for him. If Kage wanted to introduce himself then he would. He did think it was a bit weird that the man had walked into a bar and hadn't ordered anything. Like, he hadn't even accepted the free shot Ilya had offered him.
"What sort of stuff do you sing, Ms Linette?" Jack asked with a friendly smile before chewing on another handful of candy. There didn't seem to be much else to do and he was curious about the young woman. He'd never made friends with a celebrity before. "I bet you make guys hearts burst from their chests and women show up with their hair dyed blue."
A man walked into the bar and Jack noticed Kage's change of posture. Initially he just shrugged it off but the paranoid part of him kept one eye on the stranger. He seemed quite rude, demanding a drink from Ilya like he did. If he got violent, the young man certainly wouldn't mind bopping him over the head.

"I don't know if good is the words I'd use to describe it" Lin commented before downing the second shot in front of her. The potent liquid made her wince as it fueled the butterflies in her belly once again; Lin braced herself against the bar for a moment getting to get her bearings. Much to her surprise Lin started giggling like the butterflies in her tummy were actually tickling her.
"What sort of stuff do you sing, Ms Linette?" Jack asked her with a broad smile " Well I mostly singing Pop for my label, but i enjoy all kinds of music. I used to DJ in clubs before a talent scout scooped me up" she replied while turning to see if Ilya had poured another round of shots. "I bet you make guys hearts burst from their chests and women show up with their hair dyed blue." Jack commented and Lin giggled " Yeah my fans are great when they're not in a giant mob chasing me."
She was just going to reach for another handful of gummy bears when a stranger walked into the pub. He was well built; roughly six foot two; with a mop of dirty blonde hair covering his head; and the dazzling set of blues eye. He ordered a drink from the bar: Linette had no clue what it was seeings as she didn't drink. Lin's attention then shifted the the drops of water adorning the counter; with a slight bit more concentration than normal she started making flutter around an dance.
"Have I seen you somewhere before, you look awfully familiar to me" an unfamiliar voice asked. It was the blonde stranger who just walked in; Lin wasn't sure what to do say so she just started to giggle and looked at Ilya and her empty shot glass.
"If it ain't good now, it'll be good when it hits you. Gin's got a gnarly punch," Ilya said to Linette, her mind and sight already blurring disjointedly with her own growing intoxication; granted, her tolerance was tank-like in comparison to Linette's giggling elation, but she did feel respectively tipsy after four shots. She wasn't finished, either, refilling the glasses yet again and downing two more massive gulps of booze before finally setting her sights on the new arrival -- a new arrival with a bad attitude at that.
"Watch how you talk to the lady servin' your drink," Ilya snapped discourteously, biting her thumb before turning to fill the just-cleaned tankard with German beer by the tap. She set the mug down less gently than she should have and went to fill their own glass's contents for the fourth time. That would be a solid ten shots in Ilya's system by this time, and she reveled in it.
Unobservant in her intemperance, her drunkenness, she did not realize that Kage was singling out the boorish, new-found patron, nor did she pay much attention to the exchange between him and Linette other than dazing in their direction -- she was behind the bar.
"I do not want to be human - I want to be myself. They think I am a lion, that I will chase them. I will not deny I have lions in me. I am the monster in the wood. I have wonders in my house of sugar. I have parts of myself I do not yet understand."
Kage stood up suddenly, and moved away from his spot in the corner. He moved towards the bar, and stopped a few feet away watching as the man was blatantly attempting to pick up the singer Linettee with sexual advances. Kage grimaced, wondering if he was about to ruin a good night for the singer but he was still going to do his job. She would either forgive him, or she would not. Kage finally decided to butt in to the conversation, and called out to the individual.
"Sir...Please desist your attempted fraternization with the lady. I need to speak with you, and you will not like what I have to say."
The response was immediate, almost as if the man had been expecting something like this to happen at any moment. He jerked around, spinning around and pulling a gun in the same movement. He discharged the pistol several times randomly where Kage had been standing, but Kage had been expecting this and had dodged to one side, rolling behind a table and shoving it on it's sided to protect him from the bullets. Luckily, the table was empty save a salt and pepper shake which each fell to the floor and the tops sprang off casting salt and pepper all over the floor.
The man was already gone, bolting for the door though. Kage stood up, grabbing the nearest chair and with all his strength hurled it at the back of the man's head. His aim was not the greatest in the world and he missed, instead sending the chair slamming it to the fleeing man's back causing him to crash to the floor loudly. Leaping over the table, he dashed to the man and heaved him up by the back of the neck, kicking the pistol away across the floor. He slammed the guy face first in to the wall, then spun him around and pinned him there with his arm up against the man's throat.
Kage reached in to his cloak with his other hand, and slowly brought out a photo. He unfolded it between his thumb and forefinger of his left hand held it up before the struggling man's face. Kage then tossed the photo over his shoulder, then reached in his cloak again and pulled another. The process was repeated seven more times, only starting with the second Kage added words.
"You remember this girl as well? Of course you do. Do you remember this girl? Oh, I know you do..." Soon the floor was scattered with the seven photos, and Kage grunted.
"You remember all of them, and you are going to pay for what you did to them." He reached in to his cloak, slowly pulling out one of his scorpion shaped throwing blades. He lifted it, but was suddenly stopped when a storm of bullets smashed in to the building. Smashing through windows, door, and walls they whizzed and pinged around the room. Luckily, Kage was saved from being killed by the very body he was holding against the wall. Having lost enough momentum through the wall, the bullets tore in to the body and stopped. The man he had caught was not so lucky.
Tires screeched, and a car drove off outside, leaving silence in the bar until Kage suddenly burst in to Japanese.

The young man chewed a mouthful of gummy worms thoughtfully. Normally, Jack wasn't a huge fan of pop and stuff but he liked to keep an open mind so he didn't consider himself to be too particularly biased against that kind of music. Linette probably knew what she was doing, he figured. Especially considering her fans apparently loved her enough to chase the young woman through the streets of Berlin. Jack declined any additional drinks, not wanting to become overly intoxicated.
He frowned at the stranger. The new stranger, the one who'd entered just recently and had, in the brief time he'd been in the pub, hit on Linette and been rude to the bartender. Needed to be more specific because they were all kind of strangers but this guy was the strangerest of them all, considering he'd just showed up and they didn't even know his name. Kage seemed pretty interested in him and Ilya seemed about ready to bit his head off.
Jack noticed the odd behavior of the drops of water on the bar but figured they were probably just agitated because they didn't like the new guy either. Anyways, he paid it no mind. Kage spoke to the guy and then things became interesting.
The stranger burst into action and, for a moment, Jack thought there was going to be a fight. At least until he noticed the gun. Shots rang out and, annoyed by the guy's apparently lack of consideration for those around him, Jack used his abilities to pinch the barrel shut so no one would get accidentally hurt as a result of whatever weird thing was going on between the new stranger and Kage. Beside that, the young man didn't interfere. He stayed where he sat, chewing candy and watching the proceedings without much interest. The ninja seemed to be winning and even had the other man pinned against the wall.
"Everyone get down!" Jack shouted, his danger sense going haywire, before diving behind the bar. A storm of bullets tore through the walls and windows, seeming to be endless. When it was all over, the young man climbed to his feet wearing a bewildered expression and asked.

The newest patron to the bar approached Linette and she tried to stifle a giggle but couldn't. She really wasnt paying attention to what he was saying; all she could think about was Nate and how much she missed him. She wondered how his business trip in Mexico was going, and if maybe hed fly out and meet her in paris.
She was snapped out of her daze as pajama man seemed to be defending her honor or something by confronting the grouch trying to hit on her. Despite her very evident intoxication she realized that the altercation between the two was much more than a simple argument, and in an instant the sounds of gun fire filled the small pub.
Linette watched in shock as everything unfolded before her, pajama man's reflexs were quiet impressive evading those first few shots. Just when it seemed all was calm the sound of more gun fire rang in Lin's ears and a piercing pain burned in her shoulder. Bringing back flash backs of mount Olympus and the putrid Silent Death that had attacked her. Lin fell to the ground clutching her bleeding shoulder and rolled behind her stool. This was not how she envisioned her night going.
The misfortune that became of what was to be a simple night at the bar seemed to all happen in slow motion for Ilya; the rising tension and exchanged threats between Kage and the discourteous man went from what looked like a petty disagreement to actual murder -- which was not something Ilya had expected in a tiny pub amidst Berlin, nor was it something she was capable of assessing properly being near belligerently intoxicated. She has the right mind to duck (or rather, fall) under the bar as the sound of bullets reverberated off the tavern's aging walls. Why did she always have the worst of luck?
She rose from the depths of behind the bar with much effort and spotted first Linette's wound, and then the dead body by the entrance. "Are you kidding me?" Ilya slurred out in blatant disbelief, not knowing whether to reach for the phone and call the police or crawl into a safe corner and chill. She hoped she wouldn't lose her job, but then again, she'd probably take her leave after the occurrence. She made the decision to first see if the living, injured person was A-okay.
"Well, at least the medical bills will be covered by your pop star salary," Ilya spoke lightly, leaning over the bar and taking a gander at the wound. "How bad is it? Do you need a cab called for the hospital?"

Kage dropped what had a few moments before been a living person, letting the body crumple to the floor. He looked down at himself, slowly running his hands all over his body and feeling no pain or finding any injuries he turned to the rest of the bar. This was not what he had been thinking would happen. This was suppose to be an easy execution of a criminal, a worthless piece of scum that did not deserve the breath and resources it was taking to keep him alive after everything he had done. Now he was dead, but not by Kage's hands which might result in a no payment for the clan. There was collateral damage done to the bar, and there seemed to be injuries as well.
Kage moved towards the group of people, two of whom where upon the floor. The pop singer girl either had not had time to react, her reactions where slowed by the alcohol coursing through her system, or she had not had the common sense or self preservation instinct and she had taken a bullet to her shoulder. Kage grimaced, shaking his head. Things had NOT gone the way he was planning for them to go. He pulled his hood back, and leaning close he examined Linette's wounded shoulder. It was bad, but not exceptionally so. The bullet had at least passed in and out of the arm, which thankfully mean there would not have to be any digging around to fish the bullet out.
Kneeling down, Kage ripped a strip of cloth from his cloak. He sighed, having to fix that now as well but knew that it was better to do this and help the female. He stood back up and motioned to Ilya the bartender.
"Strongest proof you got, ma'am?" He asked, holding his hand out and wriggling his fingers slightly impatiently. When he got the liquor, he would drench the cloth in it and looked Linette squarely in the eye.
"This is going to hurt.....but it will help stop the bleeding. If you give me permission, I am going to simply bind your wound tightly, but other then that I can not do anything more. I have no medical experience other then simple remedies for flesh wounds. This is all I can do until we find somebody who has the real training and skills to fix it completely and properly."

Jack clambered back out from cover now that things were a bit less dangerous. He glanced briefly at Linette's wound, munching on a new handful of candy as he did so. She was bleeding but he couldn't really tell how bad the injury was from the short look, not that he cared much. Or at all, really. The young man's face was blank and vaguely bored as he considered heading out to get more candy. Jack found his mind drifting away from the fact that Kage had just gotten into a bar fight with some random guy before someone had decided to shoot the place up for whatever reason. He was running low on gummy bears and skittles, his favorites. Jack settled onto a stool, chewing thoughtfully. Maybe it was for the best if he ran out. All sugar in the candy he'd been eating probably wasn't good for him.
