Well. One of them was pretty rude. He didn't mind much. Jack was used to it, after all. The hint of command in the angel's voice did aggravate him a bit, though. But only a bit. Probably not worth killing over. Anyways, the relatively nice one had begun discussing drinks right about when the young man's mind had drifted somewhat, trying to mentally retrace his steps. Unfortunately, no amount of pensive posture and chin scratching seemed to help.
Jack was pulled back to reality when it was suggested that he might pay for something. That was his cue to get going, so the young man began to disengage. "I really should get going," He informed them, his voice almost apologetic. "I don't want to bother you two any further. I'm used to being lost. I'll find my way eventually. It was nice meeting you, Ilya."
The young man smiled began moving away. Slowly at first, his pace eventually quickened as Jack assumed his normal stride, heading away from the other two. It had been a strange encounter, one he'd eventually determined wasn't going anywhere he might've liked all that much. Anyways, it was back to wandering around, trying to find his way. Before long, Jack finally decided to give up. Discretely slipping into an unobserved corner, the young man teleported home. He fell onto the couch and grabbed for the tv remote, figuring he'd done enough walking around strange places for one day.
