Worships Balance
Varos has a very symmetrical look, giving her a strange, unearthly beauty. Her favorite form has grey eyes and red hair. She usually seems quite calm, with the shadow of a smile on her lips and a hint of a frown around her eyes.

Ok, well, technically, we always accept ideas. But when it comes to factions, we tend to store them away, because we want to focus on filling the current factions before we open new ones.
But I was sitting here, thinking, and realized our current factions are all so exclusive in some way or another. UNSAIDs are highly picky about race, Daemons of Rome only want Daemons, Council only accepts one full member from each race, and Antitheists accept everyone, but you lose all your abilities.
So, instead of just making a new faction up by myself, I figured I'd put this out to see if you guys had any suggestions! What would you like to see? I'll only be adding one Faction, so I might blend some ideas. It also helps if you've thought out things like their special perk, and history. Just remember that I'm looking for a faction that is open to many races.
So go on, send me your ideas! PM them, or put them here!

(cracks knuckles) Here we go. I honestly don't even know how to put this all together clearly as an idea. I guess this is some sort of disclaimer for my drivel. scholarly faction/academia? There's a lot to it -- so I'll start with the gist. This group would be both supernatural and human born dedicated to studying and furthering their knowledge basis of supernaturals in a broad and diverse amount of ways, such as: - The exploration & archaeological analysis of each world
- The examination & researching of literature/art pertaining to supernaturals
- Field investigator/private eye that could include harsh conditions and dangerous situations
- Ritual study/ancient practices (?)
- The beneficial study of supernaturals: medical, biological, neurological, etc.
- Other things, probably
This faction would ( could?) include a branch of collegiate academy: training, courses and classes to further the student's personal knowledge on the foundation of the previous matter, as well as other material, such as: - Foundation classes; 'practical education' (the boring stuff: botany, history, basic biology (of every world))
- Combative training (a wonderful practice of RPing weakness and flaws)
- Laboratories (explosions! weird, neon-glowing goop! fun science things!)
- Mental and physical preperation
- Ability practice and control (for both supernatural and human)
- Also other things, probably
Maybe, maybe the higher-up staff in the faction could retain members in threads that are created exclusively for their character in question to rank up. It challenges the writer to gain a better understanding of the content of their peers OOC, and it engages the other to use different feats and their abilities in a unique situation, examples being something puzzle-esque, battling a personalized behemoth with a certain weak-point that must be discovered, etc. This would ready the students for, after a convocation/graduation of sorts, careers in the faction such as: - Field scholars (the guys who go out and do fun stuff, basically)
- Professor/assistant professor
- A more personalized career in the science/medical field
- Protector
Protector leads me to what would be the head establishment, holding both the class rooms, labs, an ever-growing library, museum and greenhouse. Each member, staff and student, would ideally pledge some sort of non disclosure agreement of secrecy for the sake of the faction's safety. The information available to them would likely be valuable and a consequential advantage to bad sorts (I don't know. What am I saying?). I envision the founding, wherever it would be, to be entirely underground. The protector would ensure the security of this. I had the idea of something with the possibility of a more diverse troop that would entail a plethora of different thread-styles; conflict, drama, adventure, mystery and most importantly: a good bit of fun. *I forgot to mention possible perks. It could be something like a very slight and subtle increase in a stat through courses/training, individual rewards from field missions and graduations, a particular ability and etc. So, yeah. That's it for my rambling.
