PAST;;
History:
Emily grew in a family of secret agents, her parents both supernatural hunters for a secret human organization. Her mother and father both trained her everyday since she was seven years old. Her mother trained her in agility, first aid(which she never got right) and stealth, while her father taught her to fight, shoot and take hits. They had both seemed to put more pressure on her, seeing how her body develloped to be small and light, trying to make her be the best. She was, indeed, quicker than most children she had met, and with her father's help, she could wield a gun better than any boy. Any boy. One day, her father had took her to a field to practise. He had told her to stand in the field, giving her a bulletproof vest to put on, then he had ran in the opposite directon. Just about when Emily started into a run towards her father, the bullet shot her. Her bulletproof vest had helped, but she wasn't gravely injured, thought her parents had taken her to the hospital. While she had been in the hospital, Emily had to endure hearing her parents arguing at the door, her mom telling her dad that he should apollogize, him refusing, telling her it was training, nothing more. One day, hearing them, Emily had started to scream. Her parents had rushed in, seeing her crying, her mother gasped, her father looked panicked, but he knelt in front of her. 'I'm very sorry, Emily.' he had said, and that made her stop. And she had never cried since then. When she was fifteen, her parents left for an important fae hunt, ad never came back. The Fae had leaded the hunters in a trap, and all of them had been murdered by gruesome beast, by Emily's guess. Since then, she had sworn so keep away from Fae, out of hatred and, well... a little fear, for there has yet to be a challenge to her parents before they had left her. She stayed in Canada and with the organization, than soon started to call for assassinations of said supernaturals, so Emily started taking job to make a living, soon buying herself a cozy apparment in Ottawa and moving there. In Ottawa, she made herself a new life, still taking contracts, but she broke of much of her communication to the supernatural hunting organization.
Bernhard was once a Hito'Radeau, but has been mutated into something else entirely. A scorched black beak covers his nose and mouth, his throat fused around a gas filter, and his eyes pressed against shattered glass lenses and wire mesh.
The rest of his hunched figure is covered by a pair of large black wings, similar to those of a crow's, and a shredded leather long coat. What patches of skin that can be seen through worn patches of clothing are sickly and rotted.
His arms and leather gloved hands are mostly normal, with the exception of a glass syringe embedded in his right forearm at an odd angle, but his right leg is only human to the knee. From there down is a taloned black appendage, similarly resembling that of a Crow's.

Heyo, cat person. App looks good, but I have a small suggestion, and a thing ya need to fix and/or change. First, getting shot with a ballistic vest on is about as painful as getting punched real hard. It'll leave a big bruise on you if it was a particularly large caliber round, upwards of a 9mm (9mm, .357 caliber, .44 mag, 10mm Auto, et cetera), but otherwise you're pretty much fine. Unless your vest failed catastrophically there shouldn't be any lasting scar tissue. You do you though.
Now, the important bit. Speechcraft, climbing, melee weapons, and ranged weapons aren't actual skill sets that we have. We have different abilities for melee weaponry and firearms, but climbing and speechcraft not so much. distension.proboards.com/thread/3249/stat-based-abilities This is the page where you can find those abilities, under Marksman and Melee. Each ability has three level, and they both require you to have a minimum stat count in a given set of stats.
However, as a human, you get 4 free stat points when you make your character. Everything after that costs five points for human species, and ten for supernatural ones. You start off with 200 points at character creation to do with what you will. As it stands, you have one stat point too many, including your free ones. Gonna have to balance your stats out to give you enough points left over for melee and marksman abilities if you want to start out with them, or you could scrap them and buy them later with the points you get for posting in RP threads.

Ayup, just remember that you have your 200 starting general-points to use. Otherwise, accepterino. Welcome aboard.
If you want to throw those 200 points into something, head on over to the empowerments thread distension.proboards.com/board/126/empowerments here. Points can be converted into stats at a 5 to one ratio, five points per stat, and the power upgrade thread can be used to purchase abilities with your points, so long as you have the stat points for them.
