This creature is the stuff of pure legend. Born of blood and death, these creatures reproduce asexually after killing seven beings. They are semi-sentient, capable of thinking and planning, but they do not speak. The young will remain with the "mother" for several months until it's first kill, then will move out on it's own to survive and procreate eventually. Each creature has the beak and talons of an eagle, the head of a lion, and the tail of a scorpion that produces a potent toxin capable of stopping even a supernatural's heart beat in a matter of minutes. These creatures have no known age limit and will continuously grow as they live, and the largest one has been reported at almost fifty feet long. Their armor is virtually impenetrable, though not completely but there is a recorded weakness, that if you throw a spear down the throat of this beast one will successfully kill it.
They live exclusively in the Khyper-diorem, but one long ago one managed to escape by an unknown way upon earth and ravaged the ancient town of Jerusalem, and was eventually killed. It is believed this attack was the direct results of the myth of the chimera.
