So, this little bit is about how I might be gone from Distension for a while. No worries, I shall return.~
Basically, 2 summers ago I broke my arm in 10 places all at once due to a zip line. I had 3 surgeries, 2 on my left wrist and one on my elbow of my left arm (obviously. And of course, I'm left handed, go figure.) ANYWAYS, I had the first surgery on my wrist done in a hospital about 15-30 minutes from my home town (depending on how fast you drive. Took us 30 minutes due to the ambulance driving the speed limit, those lame turds.). The doctors had put a piece of thick metal into my wrist (too big actually.) and then told us we'd have to go to a different city (good hour or so, yet again depending on how fast you drive. Speed limit-2 hours) for them to put my bone back into my arm (Yes, the bone literally snapped out of my skin) because if they touched it, I'd no longer be able to use my arm at all. So of course, I was rushed to the other city where they worked on it, aka- 2nd surgery. The doctor even said if the bone would have came out a centimeter off from where it came out, it would have punctured a blood vessel and I would have bled to death within minutes. How wonderful my luck is, right?
The doctor looked my wrist over that the other hospital had done and basically told us that they had screwed it up and I'd have to go into surgery again, which I ended up doing. After opening it up, they couldn't shrink the metal size without really putting me into danger (oh goodie) so they had to seal it back up and put it into a cast. The doctor had assured us that once the bones in my elbow fully healed, they would have to take the 2 pieces of metal (they're joined, making it so I can bend my arm) out. My wrist though would forever have the metal in there, due to how badly I had broken each bone. This is why I can be a bit slow on typing sometimes, the pain hurting and such.
Lately however, I've been having a lot of pain in my arm and it was decided, I would need surgery once again. It's not a serious issue, but because of that, I won't be on Distension for a while after the surgery due to being drugged up, in a cast, and unable to type very good. I won't have the surgery until either the end of this year, or sometime in the beginning of next year. Due to my absence, and having so many friends on here, I am offering to give out my skype name for others to get. I will try and be on skype at least once a day, maybe once every other day. I won't be able to type, but I will be on mic to inform whoever wishes to know how the surgery went, and how I'm doing/feeling. If you wish for my skype, send me a message asking and I will gladly give it if I know you well enough. If not, allow me to get to know you before that time comes and I will give it to you much later on. :3
Now, with all of that said, this is my reason as to being gone from this wonderful site for that period of time, so don't assume I grew bored of this place and left without saying anything. Okay? I shall return, I just need the time to heal before fully coming back.~
