A continuous ten feet thick, the artwork carved into every inch of the carbon coalstone wall is brilliantly done. Details pour from the walls and tell of times before even their own creation. Within the Fortification's walls is the Courtyards of Solace; filled with blossoming cherry trees nestled artfully with rose bushes in the grassy opening, this courtyard is very peaceful.

Made of diamond coalstone, the dome is perfectly smooth and no blemishes appear on it's surface. The inside is pristine with a circular, blue quartz seat in the center of the auditorium.

Taking up a small strip of land behind the pool and dome is a solitary wall of opal coalstone, reflecting light in varying colors. the inscription on the side facing the dome reads "kidoti hreshthrak". The inscription on the other side reads "yk tpa". It is known as the Link.

To the right of the building nearest the gates is a long pool of shimmering water. It is impossible to see past the reflection of the placid surface. A small sapphire ziggurat rests behind the link on the side of the pool. The external stairs face the link and at the top lies a room of only 400 square feet.

Made of ruby coalstone, the spire stands taller than any other constructed objects in Shangri-la. It rests in the northwestern corner of the Fortress beside and slightly behind the ziggurat.

Board Description
Fortress at the edge of the Void
At the furthest edge of the Khyper-Diorem lies the indomitable Fortress at the edge of the Void. The oldest structure known to any, what secrets does this fortress hold? Perhaps more importantly, who or what has been maintaining this coalstone palace for the last 70 millenia?
