She absolutely agreed. A good movie to top off a good night would be perfect. She let out a tiny giggle as she pulled Ren to the door, then she watched as Ren went through the process of pulling on her outside gear. She Watched as Ren took off down the street, and let out her own laugh as she followed her. On and on she chased, feeling like a six year old.
She kept a slight distance between herself and Rennia, and stopped when she saw the snowball coming at her. She dropped into a bridge and waited until the snowball was past her before she stood up. She smiled at Ren, and rolled her own snowball. She threw it at her, again aiming no higher then the chest. She then walked slowly towards her, keeping her bright eyes on Rennia. She tilted her head, her eyes flashing in the dark. The vampyress smirked and still stayed a nice distance away, in case she was forced to dodge another snowball.
She loved winter. She really did. As a mortal, she'd always hated it, due to the fact that she was always freezing. No matter how hot it was, she was always always cold. When she became a vampyre, it became the opposite. Now she's a little bit warmer then your average vampyre. She didn't know why, that was just the way it had been. The wind blew Gypsy's long hair softly, and with the streetlight behind it, some may say it was an angely vision.
But it really wasn't. Gypsy smirked and held up her hands. "Is that all you got, baby?". Gypsy teased, a laugh escaping her soft lips. Her footsteps didn't make so much as a sound while she walked, nor was she, as all vampyres, reflected in mirrors, so it was fairly easy for Gypsy to walk up behind people. However, something told her that Rennia wasn't going to be a person she could sneak up on very easily.

Rennia lofted her brows and smirked as the vampyress dodged the snowball. The demoness then saw that snowball coming towards her and instead of dodging it, the demoness simply gave a wicked grin as her wing suddenly shot out from under her cloak and folded around in front of her. The snowball broke apart as it slammed into her wing, and she lowered it, giving Gypsy a smug, triumphant grin.
Those deep red eyes tracked the vampyress around as she moved, the woman bending down to reach for another clump of snow without taking her eyes off of Gypsy. She quickly formed it into a ball, but did not throw it, simply watching her 'prey' as she herself slid back and sideways when appropriately. She kept her ear out for any cars going by, but there weren't any, and probably wouldn't be this time of night. So she slowly stepped out into the street to keep herself at length with the other woman.
Then came the challenge. 'Is that all you got, baby?' So Gypsy wanted to play... well Rennia could play. Rennia would definitely give the Vampyress a run for her money. "If you want to play hardball, Dear Gypsy... We can play hardball...."
Finally the demoness shifted her grip on that ball of snow, hauled back and launched that snowball at Gypsy. This time it wasn't a light toss but more of a full on fastball. The ball of compacted snow burst fourth from her hand with incredible speed, rocketing towards the other woman's chest as she let go. The force with which the demoness launched it was enough that the poor sphere of ice crystals began to break apart from inertial forces. Rennia pouted, hoping it'd remain intact long enough for the ball to reach Gypsy.
Then while she left Gypsy to contend with that rocketing ball of frozen water, the demoness turned and took up another quick stride to put even more distance between her and the vampyress, making retaliation even harder. When she paced herself enough, she whipped back around to watch to see if Gypsy was following her. Her eyes of course kept a sharp eye trained for any would be 'attackers' be they playful vampires, or real threats.

Gypsy slightly pouted as Ren spread her wings. Cheater! She issued her challenge, and ducked and rolled behind a big green garbage can until she heard the pow of the snowball. She watched her prey back away. Gypsy's blue eyes scanned the buildings, and she smiled. Quietly, and quickly, she climbed the building. She gathered snow in her hand, and smiled. The key to a good snowball, she knew, was just a tiny bit of heat. And since Gypsy had that little bit of heat, she was able to make the perfect snowball. Not to firm, not too soft. Slushy on contact, but can travel without breaking. She leaned over the edge of the building, and dropped the snowball.
"Heads up!"
While the ball dropped, she giggled, and leaned over to watch what Rennia would do. She had to be careful with the height game, since Ren could fly and she...totally can't. Gypsy's blue eyes sparkled in the starlight. She turned from the ledge, and ran and jumped across the other building. She fucked up the landing a little, and took a rolling dive. She landed on her back, and licked the snow off her nose. For a Vampyre, fuck was she clumsy. She wouldn't have even thought about jumping off a building, except she knew if she landed face first on a slab of concrete, she could get up and brush herself off.
Which is what she did now. She rolled onto her stomach, and pushed herself up. She wrote herself a song called "Falling Down", since that's what she did a lot. She can step onto a dance floor and do every move perfectly. The second the music stopped, she tripped on a damn chair. She kinda hated it. But it amused her when she fell down a set of stairs, for instance. It usually amused whomever was in the room as well. Gypsy had so many bruises from repeatedly falling. She could take a full on punch in the face, and walk away with nothing, but she falls down a set of stairs, and her shin is bruised for the next three days. She brushed off the knees of her jeans, and her coat, before turning around to see where Rennia had gotten too.

Round two.... miss. Rennia was a tad amused that the woman had managed to dodge that second one given the velocity of the ball of snow. But then again, she knew that Gypsy had been expecting it to come, so she was likely prepared in advance for it to come. Rennia watched as she hid behind the garbage can, waiting for the snowball to pass by before she skipped back out into the open.
Then Gypsy climbed one of the buildings, causing Rennia to perk a brow. So she was going to play that game was she? Well Rennia knew she had the advantage there, even if there were taller buildings, Ren could still fly above them if need be. But, Rennia waited to see what would come of the Vampyress's antics. Then it came. Rennia didn't even look up, she just hopped to the side as the ball of snow landed next to her. Then she turned her gaze up and shook her head with a tsk.
"Too slow Gypsy dear. You're going to have to do better than that if you want to catch Rennia....."
She stood there motionless, watching Gypsy until she turn and made for the next building. She took advantage of that moment and slipped into the shadows of the nearby alley. Rennia had the ability to almost vanish entirely into thin air without the use of an invisibility spell. It wasn't complete invisibility, and it had it's limits, but Rennia knew how to make the most of it and simply blend into her environment. She slid along the nearby wall and waited for the sound of Gypsy landing, which sounded a lot harder than it should have. Rennia peaked out and looked over in the direction the sound came from and winced as she caught Gyspy brushing herself off.
Well that had to hurt.... She thought. But Gypsy seemed alright, given she was getting back up just like that. So Rennia resumed her game of stalking Gypsy, moving from shadow to shadow. She slowly tried to circle around the vampyress, aiming to get as close as she could before she would have to reveal herself at all. Like a predator stalking it's prey she watched and waited for the perfect moment to 'strike'. When she was behind a nearby building she through her voice, giving first a chuckle before she spoke, causing one of those scenes where her voice appeared to be coming from all around.
"What will you do now Gypsy? Do you know how to fight that which you cannot see? Can you fight the shadows in the dark of the night?"
Rennia peaked out around the corner of the building to see how Gypsy would react, those red eyes locked on the woman, analyzing her, watching her movements. When the right moment presented itself she would dance across the roadway next to her and slip over the low riding wall on the far side, crouching down as she followed it down towards Gypsy's location. Every now and then she'd carefully peak out, keeping her hood up so as to prevent her red hair from sticking out noticeably. Soon the time to strike would come. All she had to do was wait.

Voices all around. The wind in her ears. Too many senses at once. So, she stopped and let her mind empty. She gathered the snow in her hand, and simply waited, listening for any sound. It was a bit of an odd sight. A pretty blonde with a bright green G on her black hat standing on a rooftop, with a snowball in her hand. She closed her eyes, and waited. The air was still, except for that tiny breeze she doubted the humans would feel. No sound.....until...
Finally, she heard it. As Rennia was crossing, Gypsy's eyes flew open, and she spun and released the snowball. She didn't wait to see if it had hit, though she was fairly sure it had. She rolled behind a heat vent. After waiting a moment, Gypsy jumped off the building, grabbing the next ledge by the edge of her gloves fingers. Dammnit. Gypsy constantly thought she was superwoman. She swung her body back and forth until she had enough momentem to swing upwards. She looked around for Rennia as she rolled onto the building. Sometimes, she was so glad she was immortal, because, god damn would her body hurt from what she puts it through.
That was the trouble with humans, she mused. They put too much stock in pain. They stop when its hurts. She didn;t see things like that. A Vampyress can still be injuried, sure, but Gypsy usually just wrapped it up and kept on her way. Gypsy looked over the edge of the building, wondering where Rennia had gotten too. She looked at the lightening sky, and realized she didn't have that much playtime left. And it was time to stick to the shadows. She jumped off the edge of the building, finally landing perfectly on her feet. She brushed herself off, and stood in the alley way darkness, to avoid the slowly rising sun.
Her blue eyes looked up and down the street, judging where she could step as to where the light was starting to hit. She stepped carefully. How could she be such an idiot? She totally forgot about the sun in her fun and games Now it was possible, because she was an idiot, that her 206 year life would come to an end. Though, if that was the case, the last night of her life had been awesome. Not sexually amazing as she was hoping for, but awesome nonetheless.. She pressed her back against the wall, her eyes upcast for Rennia. She smirked, waiting to see those big beautiful twin wings flapping in the air. She imagined that would be quite a site to see, and it was one that she would love to see.

Busted. Her senses reeled like someone had electrocuted her as the ball of snow came hurtling towards her. The demoness suddenly spun into a roll in midair as the ball came hurtling towards her. It narrowly missed her, but as a result she went back first into the ground beneath, the snow exploding as she slammed into it, skidding along as her momentum carried her. The demoness was quick to roll back onto her stomach, but the slippery compacted snow and ice provided no grip, and she was quickly running out of 'runway.' Her hands pawed at the snow and ice to little avail until finally she whipped out her short blade with a flick of her wrist and drove it down into the snow and ice. Finally she got some form of grip and came to a stop just in time. Rennia looked back over her shoulder and let out a sigh of relief as she realized how close she had come.
Rennia pulled herself back forward and looked around for the naughty vampyress. Rennia had to admit, Gypsy was pretty good at hiding as well, enough to make Rennia actually have to try to find her. Then she heard the woman shuffling onto the building top and she dropped down low, watching her carefully from the shadow of her hiding place. Rennia quickly grabbed up her blade and worked her way over towards Gypsy's location, keeping herself in the shadows the entire time. Every inch was taken silently, every breath let in and out slowly. All of it was done to conceal her as best she could, all the more to sneak up on the other woman.
Then suddenly she jumped from the building top. Rennia tilted her head and perked her brows, but assumed it to be just another movement to hide from Rennia. That was until she caught a sudden blinding flash of light. She looked to it's source, which surprisingly was her own blade. It was shimmering in the light.... the sunlight. Rennia's eyes widened and she looked off towards the East. SHIT! Now she knew why Gypsy had jumped. It wasn't to avoid her, it was to avoid the sunlight! Rennia looked back towards where Gypsy had been, and then towards the sunlight again. Her heart began to race. This was not how she wanted it to end. Rennia was a killer certainly, but she had no desire to end this woman's life, especially not like that. On the contrary, she rather wanted the woman to live longer. She wanted to get to know that fun creature.
Rennia's eyes gazed around her, her mind rapidly trying to think of a solution to this dilemma. Finally she did the only thing she could think to do. Rennia suddenly burst over that wall and ran full speed towards the ledge and whipped out the other blade. She drove them into the walls and used them to slow her downward momentum until she found herself in the same alley as Gypsy was now in. Then she gave it her all to burst down towards the vampyress as she tucked those blades back in. In her dash towards Gypsy she whipped off her cloak and duster.
Holding those out in front of her she ran straight for Gypsy, intent on driving into her at full speed. If she managed to, she'd suddenly wrap Gypsy up in that cloak and duster, shading her from the sun as she would suddenly scoop the other woman up. In the next instant she'd suddenly push herself airborne, those wings quickly spreading out.
The end result was a sudden running leap into the sky, those wings beginning to beat as she took skyward, carrying Gypsy as she became a flying missile flying away from the Sun. She used her body and wings to shade Gypsy from those incoming rays as she quickly looked about for some place to shelter the vulnerable vampyress. Her face had a look of determination on it as she desperately sought out a solution to the problem. "Where is your hotel room?" She asked while all the time looking around for an abandoned building or SOMETHING to shelter Gypsy in, never stopping for a moment.

This was bad. Really bad. Like idiotic bad. She was forced to roll from her hiding spot, into the sun, and into another dark piece of the alley. She stood in her tippytoes, the small burn on her hand stinging. She could go up...into the sun...;or sideways...into the sun. Motherfucker.
She was really running out of dark when she heard the slap of feet on concrete. She turned, and held open her arms, a small look of true fear in her eyes. She was wrapped in the coat and duster, held almost like a baby. Her blue eyes peaked out from the duster, and she had a moment to look down. Wooh, head rush.Things looked extra pretty from up here though. She looked back up at Rennia, and laid her head against her arm. Rennia had saved her. She didn't have to. So, why had she? Most others would've left the Vampyress to burn or find away to stay alive herself. She looked up as Rennia asked her question.
"87th and 5th. The river shore." And the glint off the water told her they weren't far. She loved the apartment. It had blacked out windows that would let the light in...without the burn. They were also something she carried wherever she went. "It's the shadiest room, near the bottom. You can fly into the balchoney" (i know its wrong, work with me)
Gypsy looked up at her, and saw the determination on her face. She didn't...she couldn't...Gypsy wasn't sure why the woman had saved her. She looked down again, her own eyes searching for it. And in an idiot moment, she pointed...with the already burned hand.
"There! Fucker!" She pulled her hand back in, and cursed herself for being an idiot. It wasn't too bad. That burn, that is. She examined it, and decided that it needed ointment and a bandage. She had plenty of both, don't ask why. She carried odd things, ranging from medical supplies to food. She liked human food, she really did. But that wasn't the issue at the current moment. Gypsy looked down at her wrists, and realized the absence of her life saver. She'd programmed a watch to give her a ten minute window before the sun came up. Okay so she had to get a witch or two to help her out with that, but hey! It...usually kept her alive.
She knew she was too hard on herself, but she didn't know how to stop being so hard on herself. She'd always had to be better, stronger, smarter then every man she'd come across, and in doing so, she set exceptions for herself that she didn't know if she was going to be able to meet. So, when she was forced to lean on people, she hated it. Every moments of it. Except for now in the case of Rennia just saved her Vampryic ass.

Rennia heard the address and immediately her eyes shot to the ground. They scanned the signs and when she found the right spot, she suddenly spun into a roll and shot downward like a rocket. With sheer ballistic speed the demoness catapulted herself and the vampyress towards that complex, folding her wings in to help her aerodynamics causing them to hurtle faster and faster. Time simply was not a luxury the two of them could afford at the moment. Well more so the vampyre than the demon. She of course might get spotted and people would make unbelieved claims of having spotted angels. She didn't really care about that. It was the woman in her arms that threatened to turn to dust on her that she was worried about.
They rushed towards that building faster and faster at impossible speeds. If they hit the ground at that speed they would both surely be splattered across it in a likely unsurvivable collision. However Rennia quickly rolled again and suddenly her wings shot out like a drag chute. The demoness grimaced at the sudden forces that were exerted on her back, the unmistakable sounds of bones popping as they were pulled out of their sockets. Despite the explosion of pain across her back, Rennia kept herself steady. Their pace slowed and slowed as her wings began to beat to break their speed. However the ground simply continued to close in on them. Finally it all came to an end with a sudden THUD as Rennia's heavy boots (and her tail for extra support) collided with the railing of the balcony. Her eyes widened again as another wave of pain exploded across her body.
Regardless of the explosions of pain across her frame, the demoness forced her abused body to move, jumping off the railing carefully to the balcony floor, where she advanced upon the door, reaching to open it with her tail, not wanting to drop the vampyress in her arms. Once she managed to get the door open, she'd carry Gypsy inside until she managed to close the door again and find a decent clearing to gently let the vampyress down onto her feet again.
Rennia then fell upon the nearest sturdy structure she could lean on, where she'd begin to pant, and grimace as she finally let the pain register and win the battle. Now that she was out of danger, she could let it run it's course, stopping her as it desired. However, even with that stinging pain, she still gave a smile to Gypsy as she leaned upon that object, reaching out to give a 'thumbs up' sign to her.

Speed. More speed. Holy fuck, they were going to die if they hit that pavement. Maybe she should've burned in the alley. She closed her eyes, and let out a panic little gasp as they started to spin. She heard the flesh tear as Rennia's wings propelled out and acted as a drag chute. She heard the bones pop, and tried to sneak a peak at the damage. She then closed her eyes as they spun again, and she let out a shock little gasp as they landed heavily. She looked up at Rennia as her eyes exploded with pain.
When Gypsy was finally set down, she instantly turned towards Rennia. Gently, and with a mother like touch, she pushed her into a chair, and went to work on her back. She asked Rennia what she needed, and tried to follow the instructions on what she should do. Once she'd sewed and clean the wounds as best she knew how, she stripped off her gloves, and knelt down infront of her.She looked into her red eyes, and smiled gently. Gypsy gently reached out, and touched her face, mildly surprised at how soft the touch was.
"Thank you. Nobody's ever done anything like that for me before. You could've let me burn in the alley, but you didn't. So, thank you"
Gypsy leaned in, and laid her pretty pink lips over Rennia's. It was just a soft thank you kiss, but it felt like more to Gypsy. It felt like a...well, a kiss. Okay, rephrase. It was MEANT to be just a soft thank you kiss, but Gypsy, being the Gypsy, slid a little more into it then just a simple thank you. She pulled back, and touched her lips to Ren's forehead. She then stood, and studied her work on Ren's back. It almost looked professional, and she hoped she'd done everything right to help the other woman out, seeing as she's now live to see another night.
She cleaned up her little medical area, and opened her fridge. She poured herself a cup of fresh, but cold, human blood, and stuck it in the microwave.
"Would you like anything? I have..Pepsi..and blood..and milk, and...I think thats strawberry juice. Its strawberry or raspberry. Its a berry juice of some sort. I don't know if you have to...eat or not, but if you do, I have cures for that as well"
She was nervous, definitely nervous. She was babbling, and constantly moving. She'd kissed her, and now she didn't know where to go from here.

Rennia hissed slightly as she was pushed into the seat and a few pops came from near her knees. Oh great... She thought. Those were popped out of place as well. She looked up at Gypsy, clenching her jaw and hissing out air through her nose. She knew her pain was obvious, but she was still a hardened vet. As stupid as it was, she was trained not to show pain to anyone. Pain was something that could be exploited. If they knew you were hurting, they knew how to get to you. So even now, when she knew that Gypsy only wanted to help, or at least believed, she put on her brave face, not trying to show an ounce of that extreme pain she felt across her body. At the very least, she might have been able to impress the vampyress.
Luckily the damage was easily fixed. Rennia directed Gypsy on how to pop her wings back into place, giving a yelp as each one was pushed back to where it was supposed to have been. Other than that the damage to her back was mostly superficial. Her skin was torn from the sudden shift, but a simple sewing of that would leave her good as new. Of course she would have a few deep bruises after that one, but she was thankful that she healed faster than most. She gave the bruises a day or two at most. The stitching, however, would take a bit longer. She hoped those would be as good as new in a week, a week and a half at most. Luckily, she surmised that she'd be able to fly in half that, at least, without tearing up her stitches again. If she got in touch with a healer, it'd be even sooner.
While Gypsy was working on her back, the demoness grabbed one of her legs and, using the chair as a sturdy object to aide her, she popped her lower leg bones back into place, giving two more yelps of pain as they slid back into place.
After she was all fixed up, Rennia laid in the chair, panting heavily and covered with cold sweat. She gave a weak smile to Gypsy never the less, bowing her head to the woman's words. Then she was kissed again and Rennia blinked but didn't pull away by any means. After it was over she grinned even more, looking up at the woman with those bright red eyes. "I may have killed my fair share of people in my life Gypsy, but that doesn't mean I think everyone should die. I rather like you personally, would be a shame to watch you burn up." It was a lame excuse, but it was an honest one... even if it was only part of the truth. It was true, she didn't want to see Gypsy burn up, but that wasn't the only reason she saved her.
"Pepsi eh? I guess I'd not be lucky enough you mean Pepsi products would I? I'm a Mountain Dew kinda girl personally. I know what people say about it, but it's my thing... not that I need caffeine by any means.." Rennia offered a sheepish grin, leaning back against the chair gently as she waited to see hear Gypsy's response. "If not I guess Pepsi would be fine. Mmm I don't do the whole blood thing. Not that I don't like blood but... mmm lets just say that blood and I don't agree with each other."
Rennia took her time to look around the joint now that Gypsy had finished with her, those red eyes slowly moving from one part to the next, until they worked their way back to Gypsy. Suddenly she found herself impressed that she had done all that for someone she barely knew, but she of course didn't regret a second of it. She would do it again any day if she needed to. Gypsy was a likable person, and until she proved to be a threat, Rennia had no ill intent towards her.

The room was set up fairly nice. A large HD TV sat in the corner, above an Xbox, VCR, DVD player, and several movies and games. K, so Gypsy was a bit of a gaming nerd, give it up. A nice soft black leather couch sat along the far wall, with recliner chairs. The purple 60's style bathroom was kiddie corner to the couch. It had a long purple tub and toilet, and it rather suited Gypsy's taste. Her bed room held a big black bed with green and black blankets and pillows. And, as was Gypsy's style, everything was neat and tidy. You could tell just by looking at the place that Gypsy was a bit of a neat freak. Her kitchenette, where she was currently standing, held a stove, scrubbed clean, a nice black fridge, and a nice 1800's style table. It was also obvious Gypsy had been in Russia for at least a few weeks. And last night was the best night of all.
She turned back to her fridge, and searched it. Score, a can of Mountain Dew hidden behind the blood. Why she had Mountian Dew in her fridge was beyond her. She must've picked it up once thinking it was something else, and just never gotten around to drinking it. Nonetheless, she had what the lady wanted. She leaned down and grabbed it, smiling as she listened to Rennia. She straightened and leaned on the door of the fridge. She waited until she had finished speaking, and made her eyeball track around the room before Gypsy grinned, and held up the can.
"Will this suffice?"
figuring that it would, she closed the fridge door, and turned on her heel as the microwave beeps. She grabbed her blood, and walked over to Rennia, holding the can out to her. Once she took it, Gypsy went over and sat on the couch. She tucked her legs up behind her, and sipped on her blood while she watched Rennia. once you got past the shock of "holy shit there's a demon in front of me", Rennia was beautiful. At least to Gypsy. And Gyps prided herself on having good taste. She smirked gently, and swirled the blood in the cup.
"I like you too. Not just because you saved my life, but because you...well, your different then others I've met. Most people..or demons, just take me as murderous..and then proceed to try to chop my head off. But you didn't. You actually gave me a chance. So, yeah, I like you"
Cute? Yes. Lame? Totally. But that was Gypsy's style. That's just...what's the expression..how she rolled.

Gypsy certainly had a unique style, Rennia had to admit. The purple bathtub was quite the interesting touch to the place. She probably would have gone a different way, but not everyone was Rennia, and thank heavens for that. Rennia liked being unique and liked other people being unique. If they both were exactly the same Rennia would be really bored. But Gypsy's differences made their similarities all the better.
Rennia perked a brow and tilted her head. It seemed she was in luck. Gypsy indeed had a can of Mountain Dew which caused the Demoness to chuckle and nod. "Yes...yes it would." So the surprises never cease eh? If she thought such magic still existed in the world she might have believed Gypsy conjured it with magic. However, she chalked it up to coincidence that Gypsy had one in her fridge she might not have known about, or maybe she did store Dew as well. Who knew? All she knew was she'd get a can of something she enjoyed at least.
She reached up and took the can when it was offered, quickly popping the lid on it and taking a drink of the cold soda pop. That hit the spot for sure. Now she slowly closed her eyes and relaxed as the pain almost seemed to melt away now that things were peaceful. "I'm hardly a person to judge on being murderous dear. I've spent an entire lifetime doing things that probably would have seen me to multiple death sentences with numerous countries. Most never found out, others took advantage of those talents. So who am I to label you as a murderer? Besides. Something as cute as you? Twould be a s-- Oh wait...." Rennia trailed off, as if only now remembering what she was.
"Personally you'd be more likely to be left by me to die a fiery death if you were one of those self righteous sort. Can't stand those people personally. With their 'I am holier than thou art' bullshit. They think that juuuust because I'm a demon, I must be a baby eater. Fucking cunts they are." The demoness shook her head then let out a soft sigh. She really did hate those types.
Post by Gypsy Winters on Oct 3, 2011 13:18:51 GMT -5
A smile crept across Gypsy's face as Rennia spoke. She hated those types too. Awwe, Rennia thought she was cute? Gypsy let out a little laugh as Rennia seemed to remember what she was. Gypsy was a killer, that's true, but mostly, she was a killer for hire. Some demons, some people, knew who she was, and what she did. She'd been a professional assassin for a short time, and made sort of a career of it. So when her phone rang, she was un-surprised.
"I apologize, excuse me" She grabbed the phone, and put it on speaker. "What can Gypsy do for you?"
The voice on the other line was a rough male voice. Almost like nails on a chalkboard. In the background was the muffled beat of a rap song, one that Gypsy actually liked, and while the voice told her what she needed to do, she mouthed the lyrics. Her mission: A group of humans hunting vampyres. Gypsy's eyes went hard and near black as she listened. Her whole body seemed to change into the savage animal she was as the word "Hunter" came out of the phone. In the thickest, and angriest accent Rennia heard yet, Gypsy only said one thing. "Consider it done."
After she hung up the phone, she sat in silent fury for a few minutes before she seemed to remember Rennia was there. She snapped out of her anger, and her eyes returned to their normal shade of blue. Her body relaxed, and she tilted her head and smiled at Rennia. Gypsy hadn't taken her for a baby eater. She more took Rennia for the "Rip your face off, and go for a fly" kinda gal. She sipped her blood, finding she didn't have the taste for it anymore, and lit a cigarette instead. She picked up her stereo remote, and jumped a little as her stereo kicked on and loud. She must've forgotten to turn it down before she left last night. She chose an older song, one Rennia would like, and put it at a volume that they could still talk. Gypsy hated silence. Once she'd done that, she turned back to Rennia.
"So...if you're not a baby eater.." This was said in a "I'm totally kidding" tone,"Then...what are you? I don't mean to sound rude...but it's been bugging me all night"
Gypsy hoped the phone call, and her reaction hadn't put Rennia off from her, but everytime she heard that..word, her savage rage took over, and she wanted to destroy everything within reach. She was mildly surprised that she hadn't thrown the cup of blood just to hear the glass shatter. She looked into Rennia's eyes with her blue ones, and her smile reached her eyes as she watched Rennia. When she was mortal, she was what they called "bi-polar". She could flip on a dime. One moment, happy as a pig in shit. The next, madder then a hornet. The next still, a murderous creature. She preferred to be happy, but hey, that was just the luck of the draw, she supposed.

Rennia's eyes slowly shifted over towards the phone as it rang, trailing behind Gypsy as she walked over to answer it. Then the Vampyress put it on speakerphone and Rennia's eyes trailed back over to a spot in the middle of the floor before her. She lifted up her leg with a faint wince as a slight jolt of pain shot through her. It was nowhere near as bad as it was thankfully. She'd be a bit sore for a while but she was alright. She crossed it over the other and set the foot to bouncing as her hand came up to rest against her chin as she listened to the phone call.
Rennia hadn't expected her to put it on speaker, but being who she was she couldn't help but listen in. That rough voice and the music raced through her mind, finding a place in her brain just like a file saved to memory. The pitches the tones, every little background noise she could detect, and specifically the words and intent. Rennia paid attention to every little detail. She made a note to look everything up next time she found herself near a computer. Information was a weapon Rennia always took advantage of, and every little bit helped.
Even after Gypsy responded and hung up, Rennia remained pensive, mulling over the call in her mind. Hunters after vampyres. That presented a risky proposition. Generally hunters didn't chase the supers so long as they kept in line, so the question became, did these vampyres do something they shouldn't have? And if they did, messing with the hunters might not be a good idea. They generally were very well organized and had a considerable number of contacts in various places. If Gypsy wanted to kill them, she'd have to do it efficiently, and she wouldn't be able to let even a single one of them live, fore if they got word out to the others of Gypsy's involvement... well they'd be coming for her next... and then ultimately Rennia as well. Not that she hadn't stuck her neck out for Gypsy only an hour ago, but she had no intention of being chased for a mistake.
Then the click of the lighter brought her back. She looked over towards Gypsy but didn't say anything, watching the upset vampyress as she vented silently. Then the stereo kicked on and Rennia chuckled at the volume blasted out the speakers and the vampyress jumped a little. Then the oldies kicked on and the volume dropped. Rennia shifted back in her seat and looked over at Gypsy, tilting her head as she waited for the woman to speak.
"What am I, or who am I, Gypsy? What am I? I am a demon. I think that much should be clear by now. I've lived on this earth for nearly a millennium and a half. Who am I? Well that's a little harder to answer. You know my name, yes, but who am I really? Do I eat babies?" She gave a soft little chuckle before closing her eyes and shaking her head. "Of course not. But... let's just say that except for the few short breaks I took in my life, I spent the greater majority of it making the world what it is today. However vague an answer that might be. I believe it might be simplest just to say I could possibly help you with that dilemma you were just presented with, if that makes things any easier. Beyond that, it is really tough to give you any form of a reply. Though I do hope I at least answered your question sufficiently enough?"
"Now my question to you miss Gypsy.... Why did a pusher just call you and present you with that dilemma?" Her eyes turned and locked on Gypsy. She was fairly sure Gypsy would know what she meant by pusher, and her face reflected an 'I know what's going on.' sort of look. It was that sort of look that told you that lying wouldn't really get you anywhere with her as she'd be able to tell. Though despite that look, she didn't appear or sound at all angry. If anything she was curious as to whether she had found herself in the company of a fellow Shadow of death.

Gypsy fiddled with the cup of blood, before setting the blood down. She stood up to pace her living room shortly, before wandering back to her couch. She leaned slightly back, her cigarette hanging from her mouth. She listened to Rennia explain who and what she was. Yes, the demon part was obvious, but she more meant..what kind of demon. But she'd asked enough of her current housemate. Gypsy's blond head snapped to her as she said that she could possibly help with what she'd been presented with. Her eyes locked on hers, and she tilted her head.
"I don't follow the politics of the vampyre world, mostly because I don't care. I just kill who they tell me to kill. Plus.." Her eyes turned back to black, and her fists curled into tiny little balls. "I really hate...hunters"
Even the word left a bad taste in Gypsy's mouth. If she hadn't have set the cup of blood down, the wall would now be wearing it, but since she had, she just kicked her couch instead, something she did when she was steamed. She turned to Rennia, and looked her in the eyes. It was true, what she said. She didn't follow the politics of the vampyre world, mostly because she didn't care, and she really really REALLY hated hunters. Ever since.... Her eyes misted slightly, and she closed her eyes against the memory. Sometimes it still felt like a stake in her unbeating, crushed heart. Gypsy shook her head, and turned back to Rennia.
"And if they kill me first, I've had a long life." Okay, Gypsy really didn't want to die, true, but if she died bringing down one of those plagues on the world, then she'd die a happy vampyre. She crushed out her cigarette, and set her hands on her hips. "And what did you mean, you can help me?"
Help wasn't something she usually accepted, for she liked to do things on her own, but the woman had saved her from being burnt to death in an alley. And besides, she couldn't start her own hunt until the sun went back down, so it might be worth her while to find out how..and why, Rennia wanted to help.
