Greetings all ye posters to Parallels.

Parallels: The Escape has been drawing other people to post in it, which is awesome but surprising. Corvin and I aren't going to complain - RPing with people is why we are here.

That being said, PtE does have a storyline that we wish to follow. The arc name of Parallels is so called because the posts are meant to parallel each other.

In all honest, the sudden arrival of other people had me in mild hysterics, because I was worried about that messing up mine and Corvin's plans. However, that is easily remedied by this thread.

Neither of us have any problem with other RPers joining, but we would appreciate it if the storyline was adhered to. The Parallels arc will cover a series of RPs up until the point in which Jake and Fin finally meet. Right now, that's unlikely, considering Fin is in New York City, NY, and Jake is somewhere in the vastness of Montana.

I know every character has an overarching goal they wish to reach. You as writers each, hopefully, have a goal you wish your character to reach in a specific RP, even if it's nothing more than "see something that reminds character of such and such a person/incident/etc."

So.... yeah, I'm sorry. I'm loquacious on the best of days, and this is not the best of them. Anyway. If you wouldn't mind posting in here, saying how-do, and let us know any plans you have for your character, I'd be much obliged. We can discuss what you plan on doing, what Corvin and I plan on doing, and what'll all happen in the interim.

For future reference, you can make a thread private. Simply add it to the title, or in ooc to the first post. However this is too late, and although I am sure everyone would gladly follow your plans- it is not guaranteed. If someone breaks away from your plan, you cannot be mad and nor can you dictate their actions. They are free to do what they wish as it is an open thread. If you do not like the way it goes, you could always restart it as a private thread.

As for Varos, she has only come in for a quit chat with Jake. Once it is finished, she will leave, and things can continue.

I was intrigued by your post, so I'm pretty excited to see where it runs.

Yeah. I forgot about marking it as private and realized it was too late, so we'll run with it. Life never works out in such a way that it follows a plan perfectly, so RPing that way makes things more interesting, anyway. We won't get mad. Fin will just deal with what comes up as necessary.
