The wind whipped against her as she rode her Harley into Sydney; a smile making its way across her lips. She pressed her legs tightly against the metal of the machine, feeling its power as she revved it to go harder, faster. She didn't care that she wore a skirt, the more skin the better. It was easier for her to get cash that way. However, that didn't make her 'easy' for anyone. Her small top hat lay between her legs as she sped down the road.
She didn't want to be late for her first gig. No one wants to be late. A giggle bypassed her as she slowed her approach, pulling into a small parking spot. She placed her feet upon the ground and pulled the helmet off, whipping her long auburn colored hair out. She normally wore half of it up, with the rest underneath straight and down. She pulled her left leg over to the other side, sliding across the leather seat and standing up. Her helmet was held tightly in her right hand, along with the keys, as she brushed her skirt off, it bouncing back to life and causing double looks from the snacks waiting inside.
She giggled before tilting her body to the side, her left hand sliding onto her hip. Her lips cast a eerie smile before it turned into something of a flirt. She smirked and made her way into the bar before her, awaiting her performance. It was time for her to catch the hearts of plenty, and rip them to shreds. She was ready to perform.
Her knee high heeled boots clicked against the wood floor as she walked on in. The gears as her heels spun with each footstep. She ignored the glances of plenty and walked to the bartender, informing the large man she was here and ready to make her show.
"Alright the show is all yours, Miss..." The bartender didn't seem to know the woman's name as she smiled sweetly and turned on her heel. She looked back towards the man, "Just call me Austen, suga'." Her voice sounded almost angelic, but yet one could hear the Italian accent within it. She winked before walking into the back and in the direction of the stage.
Making her way past a table, she noticed a small one shoulder bag hanging from a chair. Without any suspicion, she looked within and found clothes. She'd need this. She grabbed the bag and flung it over her shoulder. She secretly slid the bag behind one of the curtains and then made her way onto the stage. Not only would she get easy cash, she also gained extra stuff to sell.
Today was going to be a good day.

The smoky and loud club was way too boring. David dropped his feet on the table, leaning back on his chair, making the three empty bottles of beer jiggle against each other. Even being slightly drunk, that place was still tedious. David came to this new bar for two reasons, recently he had gained a fair amount of money in some gambling, and felt like spending it. The other reason was...sex. “ I need to get laid so bad...” He mumbled to himself frustrated. It had been a month or two since he engaged in sex, and for David that was too much waiting. Unfortunately all the girls in the club seemed to be escorted by their boyfriends. And those who weren't, weren't for David's taste. He yawned, considering asking for another beer.
His eyes fell on the waitress, and tried to get her attention. “ Hey!” His voice was muffled by the cheery people talking and laughing. When he turned to follow her with his eyes, he saw a new female walking in with a suggesting skirt. Alone. “ Well, hello..." david whispered to himself, soon, David's attention was no longer in the waitress, but on this new attractive girl. On her way to the stage she stopped right next to David's table, to collect a small bag, that was apparent that it didn't belong to her. “ That's not hers... Ahah, naughty girl.” David chuckled, watching the girl moving on to the stage. A concert. The evening was about to start.

She slowly made her way onto the stage and sat on the tall black bench-like chair. She fixed her skirt as her gaze shifted at the customers. Her eyes looked...almost lost, like she wasn't sure if she should really try, but yet they spoke a whole different story; a story most couldn't read.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, relaxing before she began. Her hand slid over the microphone as she pulled it closer to her full lips, her tongue licked across them before pushing against the mic. She reopened her eyes, knowing what song she would sing. A playful smirk spread across her lips as her voice came out, sounding angelic and seductive, pulling in the attention of the crowd.
"There’s something in the way
you're always somewhere else,
feelings have deserted me
to a point of no return."
Her eyes gave away a sight, a sight most couldn't relate too. She looked, almost like she was gone. Away from the life she held now. Like she wished to be somewhere else.
"I don't believe in Gods
but I pray for you
don't you slip away from me
it's you I live for
don't you leave
don't you slip away from me
I’m vulnerable to your love."
She looked down, lost in a sad wave as she slowed her singing, pulling the customers along for the ride.
"After all this time--all these years--you and I have history. I know what you think of me. You think I'm just a doll. A doll that's pink and light. A doll you can arrange any way you like. David decided to move to one of the front tables. As he spotted one that was right next to the wall and in front of the stage, he allowed his hand to smoothly pass through a drink placed in someone else's table, and discretely grab it, taking it with him to his destiny. He took his lips to the glass and frowned at the bitter tasted drink. He didn't even know what that was, but the owner didn't seem to notice it's disappearance. He walked right in front of the stage, taking the chance to cast a small wink to the girl before sitting down.
She sang with amazing soul, and her voice was truly amazing. She should be somewhere else, not in a dirty bar, but singing for the queen or something. This kind of mood wasn't really what David was used too, but for some reason, maybe the alcohol he allowed his head to swing at the melody. When the girl was done singing David was the first one to stand up, knocking over his chair, and clapping with a goofy green. “ Woooooh. “

As she sung, she noticed a young man wink towards her, making a smirk spread upon her lips. Maybe she could play with him, toy him along like a puppet she has done so many times before.
She acted as if she ignored it, giving off the cold shoulder that made most desire her more. She looked down as her singing came to a close, watching customers come up to the edge of the stage placing money in the small hat in front. Many other performers kept the hat there for use, she could use it also.
Slowly sliding off of the seat and standing straight, she smirked and slightly bowed, showing her appreciation. She could care less if they liked it or not truly. She would get their money some way or another. Either they drop it in the hat, or she pick-pocket it later.
She could hear the clapping, and the smiles surrounded her. She looked to the side, only to see the same man stand up, knocking his chair behind him as he clapped. Something about him seemed...different, but she couldn't put her finger on it. She nodded before making her way off of the stage, and towards the money she rightfully earned.

David felt almost discouraged when the girl missed his wink. “She didn't see it.” That was the reason, he tried to tell himself. Even if she did see it, and did in fact ignore him that was not going to knock him down that easily. The girl finished her performance and David started to grow impatient so he decided to go and talk to the girl, he wasn't going to get any action by just sitting down and get drunk... Well, once, yeah, but was a one time shot! Many artists performed after the attractive female, one of them was particularly bad, it was obvious everyone in the audience was suffering while he was singing.
David waited for the girl to descend of the platform, and when the time came, he walked by the stage touching one of the wires that connected to microphone, focusing on the electricity running through them. In a matter of seconds the microphone expelled a little cloud a smoke before shutting down. The singer stepped away from it and stopped. Meanwhile the elemental moved up to his prey. “Why, hello there.” He smoothly said behind her, combing his brown curls with his fingers.

Her eye twitched from the terrible singing as she looked through the hat, grabbing the money and stuffing it into the back pocket of her skirt. She turned, only to come face to face with the strange man she noticed. before.
Something happened to the mic, catching her attention. The singer, or so he wished to call himself, stepped back, confusion making its way across his face. She shook her head. That mic is old. She turned back towards the man, only because his voice caught her attention.
"Why, hello there."
She tilted her head, looking over him with curiosity. He usually wasn't the type she toyed with, stringing them along like they were nothing. Her glowing silver eyes leveled with his as she chuckled. A man is a man.
"Well hi there to you too stranger." She gave a slight smirk, showing a soft playful side as her eyes twinkled with delight.
She wanted to see how long she could play with him before tearing him apart.

Now that she was facing him, David had the opportunity to examine her more carefully, she looked even better now than she did on stage. That was good. David was ready for her to roll her eyes and walk away, but she answered him. And didn't tell him to piss off! Well, that was something. “ Well hi there to you too stranger “. David was planning how he would work with her. Use the surprise, direct and straight forward strategy or the beating around the bush, soft words and compliments method. Or maybe a little bit of both.
“ Call me David” He said charmingly, controlling his green eyes not fall into wrong places. The skirt...the skirt! “ What should I call you?” He said smoothly, focusing on examining her face. He glanced over her to the bar, since she was considerately shorter than him. “ Fancy a drink?” He said dropping his green eyes back at her , with a grin across his face. That was the straight forward strategy working, and the alcohol clearing the phew inhibitions that he could have.

She titled her head to the side, taking the man in slowly.
"Call me David." She simply nodded and smirked, letting the name roll over her like a second skin. She looked up at him. He was a bit tall compared to her 5'3" stature. His green eyes caught her off guard, they were...gorgeous. "What can I call you?"
She smiled, and looked over towards the bar in the direction he glanced at. She'd tell him her name, sooner or later.
"Fancy a drink?" She looked back towards him, getting caught by those green eyes once more. Oh how they shined. She nodded and smiled, leading the way towards the owner as he served a drink.
"Maybe just one," she spoke, letting her words roll past her tongue, letting the seduction roll with it as she slid her way onto a seat. The bartender looked her over, a sly grin making its way across his dirty lips. She ignored the old man, turning her full attention on David.
"Before I forget, you may call me Austen." She smiled, knowing how her voice sounded, flirtatious. If only people knew how much of a bitch she really was.

“ Maybe just one.” David smiled satisfied at her response. Step one, succeed. They made their way through the tables, until they finally sat on the bar. He saw the bartender smiling at the girl. He narrowed his eyes, and order the drinks. “ Hey, greasy man, could you bring two martinis when you're done staring at girls that are old enough to be your daughters?” David sighed as the man turned to get the drinks, her melodic voice echoed through his ears, with a flirtatious tone. “ Before I forget, you can call me Austen” David refrained from using the cliché pick up line, complimenting her name.
The drinks arrived, and David glanced at them, wondering if he should drink this one more drink. He didn't wanted to be too drunk, now more than ever he needed to have control over his actions. Oh fuck it. He took the drink to his lips and turned to face her, feeling light headed. “So, you do this often? Come to smoky clubs and perform?” He said trying to engage in conversation.

" Hey, greasy man, could you bring two martinis when you're done staring at girls that are old enough to be your daughters?"
She couldn't help but let out a soft laugh, quite amused by the bartender's facial expression as he turned to fetch the man their drinks. She swore she wouldn't drink too much. She needed to get back to her hotel without crashing after all. Besides, she wasn't a huge drinker anyways. She watched the man look down at the drinks, as if he was unsure about taking a swig.
Ahh, already been drinking I see. She couldn't help but chuckle as she picked the glass up and sniffed it slightly. Her father was a natural alcoholic so she knew her drinks just by the smell. She could tell if it was mixed, straight, anything. Many said it was a talent, she believed it was just being the daughter of a drinker.
She placed the cup to her lips, taking a small drink. It was her first drink of the night, and she wasn't going to overdue it.
So, you do this often? Come to smoky clubs and perform?" She smiled against the glass. Holding onto the cup tightly, not placing it down due to her knowing what some men would do to women and their drinks. She glanced over at David, a smile making its way across her lips.
"Oh you know how the job opportunities go now a days. Besides, it get's me cash. True? She chuckled, and took a small drink before placing it down onto the tray. The bartender knew her well, she never did finish her drinks. To whomever that decided to pick the drink up later ended up drugged and raped. Not her.

"Oh you know how the job opportunities go now a days. Besides, it get's me cash. True?" David nodded in agreement. David rarely was able to maintain a job, even if it was as simple as selling newspapers, he'd would see himself forced to leave the city if he found any traces that the cult that chased him could be near , or, more frequently, he would be fired for bad behavior. He'd find his money through some favors he'd do to random people, gambling and stealing. The elemental dropped his lips once again in the drink feeling it going down his throat, a bit too warm. He decided to stop, it was starting to get hard to focus. He rubbed his eyes softly and gently pushed the drink away, before turning his face away from the drink to focus only on Austen. “You should be somewhere else though, I mean you're ho- good! Good with the singing thing” He said smiling clumsily . Even though he was in fact thinking about her appearance at the moment, David meant it, her singing was incredible, and deserved a lot more recognition.

She took her eyes away from the man and out the front door, through the large glass windows at her baby. Every now and then she checked up on it, she'd rather not have it taken. She had rightfully stolen it, so it was hers. Finders keepers.
"You should be somewhere else though, I mean you're ho- good! Good with the singing thing" She chuckled to herself softly. Maybe the man was drinking too much? But then again, her mother always did say she sounded good, Austen however disagreed. Especially when she grew frustrated. She looked back at the man and gave a charming smile, knowing it could fool many. It was all about confidence.
"Well thank you suga'. It's quite nice of you to say so." She looked out the window again, only to see drizzles of rain start to fall. It was time to go. She didn't want her precious to get rusted. She slid off of the bench and onto her feet. Her eyes made their way over to the man again. Maybe she'd find him again, toy with his heart, but now she had to depart.
"Well cutie, I gotta go. I need some sleep." She grinned and winked, before walking over to where she hid the bag and snagged it, holding onto it as she made her way out of the bar. She ignored a woman from somewhere from the bar as she slurred out something about that being her stuff. Yet again, finders keepers.
She walked outside and straddled the large Harley Davidson, slipping the bag between her legs as she started the beast. Its roar made such a pretty sound. She closed her eyes as she listened to its purr. She smirked at the man through the window before sliding her helmet on and placing her hands back onto the machine and pulled out. Even though the hotel wasn't even a black away, she felt the need to get out.
She always did hate wasting valuable time. Besides, she felt she'd run into him again, sometime or another. His broken heart could happen later, she really only wanted to dig through her new bag, seeing the gifts the stranger had given to her unwillingly.

“ Well cutie, I gotta go. I need some sleep.” David was caught off guard, feeling displeased by her depart. He was almost sure he was going to score something with her and now she gave up the excuse she needed to sleep. He couldn't keep her there, so he just smiled weakly to her wink. “ Oh okay... See you around, I guess.” He followed her with his eyes as she left, hoping that she was going to walk back to her destiny so he would have an excuse to escort her, but unfortunately she seemed to have a motorbike. Before leaving Austen smirked at David, making the male return the gesture.
He looked back to his drink. At least he now he didn't need to hold back on the alcohol, he took the drink to his lips drinking all in one gulp. Stepping away from the table, struggling to keep his balance, he decided to head back to his hotel himself. The ground seemed very irregular to David, making the elemental step on himself sometimes on his way back.

The wind whipped against her, making the grin across her lips spread much larger than it originally was. As she sped away from the bar, her thoughts drifted back to the man. Something about him seemed...off. The machine underneath her continued to roar, purring that lovable sound she adored so much. The drive wasn't long, being in a hotel not too far away from the bar itself.
As she drove up to the cheap hotel, she noticed how rundown it truly looked. Random men stood on the sides of the building, selling the drugs and prostitutes they owned. Truly sad life, but was hers any better? She shook her head and pulled to a stop. Many people ignored her, they knew her reputation of being temperamental and feisty when coming over for a good nights sleep. It wasn't that she was a bitch to people, she just wished to be alone. She whipped her helmet off, making that oh so bright hair of hers rush into the wind once more. Her bright teal eyes scanned the area. She always did hate leaving her precious out here where the scum could touch it.
She pulled herself off and leaned in, grabbing the bag and flinging it over her shoulder. She shut the machine off and grabbed the keys, carrying them with her as she made her way to the office. The walk didn't take too long, for the jingle of the bell could be heard not even minutes later.
"Thank yo- Oh. Hello Miss. Sionis. Room 19 as normal?" The man simply asked, not bothering to cut out the flirtatious jokes as he used too. He knew not to flirt with her, being he had lost a pointer finger from the last time he did so. Doctors had tried sewing it back on, but it had no purpose once it was cut off with her butcher knife. He still lacked the evidence, other than word, that she had done it. And being she was a close friend to the actual owner, he couldn't turn her down.
"Yes Mikael, that room." She gave the right amount of money before grabbing the key and walking out. It was one of the only few rooms that was cleaned to perfection, she would know. She cleaned it herself. No one that worked there was allowed to give out that room without her permission since then. She walked out of the office, and began the direction back to her ride, where room 19 lay right in front. A smirk made its way across her lips as she continued on, only to hear the same slurred woman's voice that she had heard from earlier at the bar.
"Hey! That's...that's my bag!" Austen huffed in frustration, turning on her heel to see a woman, with a few men beside her, pointing towards her. This night just kept getting better and better.
