Red was finding that she was having a hard time trying to maintain social activities, as most of her work dragged her outside of civilization and out into the wilderness. Into places that most people wouldn't dare to travel to. That made it all the easier to work on her studies, in her attempt to try and record information about the different beings of the world, Dragons in particular.
However she found that she needed a break from her world, so she returned back to Europe for a bit of a break, Austria to be specific. It was a place she had never travelled to before, so she figured it was a good place to try and take a small vacation. Of course being a visitor to this foreign place, she found it was hard to communicate with the locals. So she decided to spend some time in a bar, hoping to find someone that could speak English, so she could have some company.
Sitting at the bar, she was slowly nursing a set of three shots she had purchased, finding that she was starting to develop more of a resistance to the alcohol's side effects. At least she had the money to spend on such drinks, ass otherwise she would have never bothered to begin drinking.

Kaarme had been bar hopping most of the night before, losing his hotel key and wallet in one of the bars he was retracing his foggy memories to try and find them, his last stop was a small bar close by. Pushing open the door he stepped inside, looking over every one and every thing. He walked up to the bar next to a woman and sat down. He asked the bartender if he left his wallet and hotel key here last night, no luck.
Sighing heavily he pulls out what cash he has left and orders some shots and a glass of whiskey. Waiting for the drink he looked over at the woman next to him, he caught a glimpse of her eyes, they were emerald in color and beautiful. A grin appeared on his face as he spoke to her. "Hi, you wouldn't happen to speak English now would you?"
He looked over her body, admiring her physical appearance. Her eyes are what he needed, once the shots and whiskey arrived he put his hand on the glass.

Red's initial attempt at trying to blend in with the locals hadn't gone over that great, the only one in the bar who seemed to understand any kind of english being the bartender, and only enough to take orders. Fiddling with one of her empty shot glasses, she caught a bit of movement coming from the corner of her eye, causing her to glance over to see the man sitting next to her, attempting to start a coversation.
"At least he speaks English..." she thought to herself, before turning to face him with a nod and a small smile. "Yeah... I found that this place doesn't seem to see that many visitors, so it's hard to find anyone to hold any conversation with." she explained, looking at one of her still-full glasses, taking a quick swig from it before shuddering. "So where are you from?" she asked, looking up at him once more.

Smiling that she can speak English he thought of her question before he looked over and brought the shot glass to his lips, tilting his head and the glass back he downed the shot and licked his lips before doing the same to the next glass. Setting the glasses in each other it made a clanking sound, he pushed them to the bartender and took the glass of whiskey in front of him in and took a sip of it. He looked at the liquid and held it up to the light, swirling it around to see the flight through it. He then said "I'm from Athens, Greece. What about your self?"
The sound of glasses hitting the table, ice falling and hitting the bottom of the glasses to small talk from the few people that were there. As he focused on the voices they grew louder, as he waited for her response. Ignoring the voices when she moved he looked back over to get another glance at her eyes, he knew her eyes were real, not contacts like hes been fooled by before, thanks to alcohol.

"London." Red replied, finishing off her last of the three shots, blinking a couple of times. She hadn't been drinking heavily on a more normal basis, so she wasn't entirely used to the feeling of the alcohol entering her system. And so she found herself becoming more buzzed with each shot. Normally she didn't go past three, but for some reason she had gone through each one as if they were nothing, already beginning to regret it as she felt the tell-tale signs.
"Greece huh? I've always wanted to check that place out. A lot of history there." Red smirked, knowing that Greece was rich in its mythology, from the creation of the world to the many different creatures that originated from its literature. Though dragons were not as influential in their mythology, it was still something she had always considered checking out. She had to broaden her horizons after all.

Nodding his head in response to her answer he was only in London once and didn't have that much fun so never went back, the food wasn't his preferred style or taste. Taking a sip of his whiskey he smiled as the burn ran down his throat to his stomach before looking over at her to speak "Only been to London once, I only got to pass through." Taking another sip of his whiskey he barely felt any affects from the alcohol though it was to soon to tell for his body.
Sitting up he stretched, the vertebrae in his back popping, he brushed the hair out from his face before running his fingers through it to slide the tie off his wrist and use it to tie his hair into a long pony tail. "Yeah it does. Greece is great if you love history and legends that is for sure." Reaching down he picked up the glass of whiskey and took a sip of it again before setting it back down.

"Definitely. It's sort of my interest." Red explained, patting her book bag which sat at her side, containing her laptop and many notebooks on the subject of the superhuman. Most of them contained information in regards to the draconic lore, but she had slowly started to fill in some information about a couple of races that she had heard about through word of mouth. It helped to socialize after all, earning her line after line of worthwhile notes, and scribbles about the anatomy of mythical creatures.
Among the different books, there was one that contained some of the information she had been gathering about the subject of bioengineering. She hoped to use the knowledge she was slowly gathering to help her achieve a few personal goals that she had in mind, and very slowly she was getting more knowledge. "So anyways, what brings you to this place?" she questioned, ordering two more shots, much to her own surprise.

He slowly finished the glass of whiskey, enjoying the taste and the slight burn from the alcohol. Hes been drinking for years and he still cant get used to the burn. He listened to her speak, setting the glass away from him on the hard wooden table. He rubbed his cheek and looked at the time to be able to answer her question. "Some of my friends had a party last night before heading home earlier today. I stuck around cause I lost my wallet, once I find it I will be heading back south to Italy, I have a old friend I need to get back in touch with."
Ordering another glass of whiskey he gave the bartender the rest of his money and waited for his drink. Looking over at her again he smiled and said. "I have some old books about the mythology of Greece if you would like them. I have no use for them. Free of charge if you are interested. They are quite old."

"That would be great! I'm always wanting to learn more." Red grinned, looking back to her two shot glasses with a smile. "After all, you never know when a bit of knowledge might save you." She had found that the more she studied about the ancient beings, the better she felt she could befriend and protect herself from them. There was still too much she didn't know however, which bothered her. One could simply never know enough.
"When would I be able to pick them up? I'd still like to offer something in return too." she offered, downing her last two shots, almost dropping the last shot glass hard against the table, as her buzz became almost intolerable. "Gotta avoid doing that next time..." she thought with a frown, before looking at her empty shots. She was definitely a light weight at this point. Not that she really cared to become more used to the drinking game.

Seeing her grin he smiled and laughed a little at how the alcohol is affecting her. Downing the rest of his drink he stood up, checked his pockets then remembered he had nothing on him he had just spent the money and lost his wallet before that. He said to her as he glanced in the mirror to check how he looked before looking back at her. "We can go get them right now if you wish, its not that far down the road where i'm staying. I don't want any thing in return, you have given me enough. Good company for the while."
Smiling he patter her shoulder and looked at the time before looking at her to see if she will need help getting up. Having seen how fast she downed her drinks he knew any more and she will be drunk, but if she was drunk it would be difficult to get her the books. "I also have some old notebooks you might enjoy reading of old legends."

"Haha, sure! Sounds like a plan." Red grinned, paying off the rest of her drinks before hopping onto her feet. It was clear that the girl was quite excited to get her hands on these books that he spoke of, wanting desperately to add to her collection. The supposed notes he had were an additional bonus too. Maybe he knew more about the different creatures that wandered the world than she did!. Red quickly snatched up her bag, knowing that even in her drunken stupor, there was no way she could possibly leave such an important item behind in such a place. After all, she didn't want to lose it like he had lost his wallet! She was a little drunk, but not enough to hinder her movement. Not too much that is.
"So... where is your place? Oh! I'm Red by the way! Pleasure to meet you...umm..." Red started, having extended her hand, before pausing for a moment. It was then that she realized that since they hadn't introduced one another she had no idea what his name was. "That's right, you never gave me your name did you?" she questioned, before letting out a small giggle. "Well come on, let's get out of this place, it's too crowded!"

Laughing at her enthusiasm he shook his head and smiled. He was just about to tell her to not forget her bag when she quickly grabbed it. He could tell her ability to walk was slightly hindered by the alcohol in her system. Pulling the tie that kept his hair in a pony tail down slightly to loosen it from pulling on his hair so tightly before looking over at her and smiling. Taking her hand he shook it and said. "My name is Kaarme, its nice to meet you Red. Yeah, lets leave it is starting to get a little busy in here."
Walking backwards he pushed the door open with his back and held it open long enough for her to get through it. "Its just up this way." Turning he started walking slowly up the road. He felt a breeze go through the small town, it felt nice even though he enjoyed the warmth a lot more then he did the cold.

With a small grin, Red quickly hurried out into the night air, following the stranger now known as Kaarme out into the streets. It felt nice to get out of the bar, which had been a bit more quiet when she first entered. But now it was full of people, full of drinkers who had started to become a bit more obnoxious than she had hoped. Then again, it was all she could expect from being in a bar, so why had she gone?
"I hope your place isn't too far... I hate being out this late." she noted, glancing up toward the night sky, watching as the fall clouds hovered above the earth's surface, gliding across the gleaming moon, which tried desperately to peek through to the other side. She had always wondered why the clouds seemed to become more plentiful in the fall, though she figured it would have something to do with the colder weather.
A cold breeze blew through the alley, causing the fragile girl to shiver slightly from the cold. Her sweater was warming, but not enough to protect her from the wind. She would have worn a normal coat, but she hated getting too hot as well. "So... why does a guy like you have a bunch of books on mythology. I don't mean to offend of course!"

As he walked down the street along side of her he watched to make sure she didn't trip or fall over. Looking at her as she spoke he smiled and said. "Don't worry, it's not far. Why, are you scared? Don't worry, i'll protect you from the scary monsters." Laughing a little he walked up to the building, pushing the door open he held it open for her before walking to the elevator.
Pushing the button to call it he turned to face her, about to speak he opened his mouth right as the loud ding of their elevator arriving to their floor sounded off, the doors opened to reveal the empty elevator. Stepping inside the elevator he put a foot in the door way so it wouldn't close on her as he pushed the third floor button and took his foot away from the doors once she was in the elevator. "I also have something else you might want to see. How much on mythology do you know?"

"Scary monsters? Pfft! They should fear me!" Red almost shouted, before suddenly blushing slightly at her outburst. She was certain now that her judgment was obscured by the beverages she had consumed prior, so she would need to listen twice to anything that he told her if she wanted to remember the events of this night. Of course, in her intoxicated state she would never remember this, likely to forget what was going to happen.
Following him into the building, she stumbled into the elevator, watching as the doors slid closed so fluidly, before the sudden jump of the machine's rise caught her off guard, nearly causing her to fall over if it weren't for the fact she was leaning heavily against the wall of the chamber. She hadn't noticed that he had used his foot to keep the door open, so as far as the girl was concerned, the doors seemed to obey his unspoken commands.
"Well, my research is more on dragons, what with their awesomeness." Red started with a small giggle, before looking up at him once more with her glittery emerald eyes, seeming to study him as if curious toward his words. "But the rest of the world is sort of a priority too. I've got a bit of research on a few of the world's creatures, mostly Greek because they've got tons of literature on the stuff! Anyways I'd love to see this thing you have to show me!"
