Alekzander thought about it, rubbing his chin. "I dunno to be honest. It could possibly explode, burn out or strip out gears and burn up belts. Or it could supercharge it and move us faster and get us to our destination faster." He knelt beside the shark, patting the side. He smiled an looked up at the other male. "Sharks are such amazing creatures. Capable of such killing power yet they are immune to disease and even cancer. Can you imagine that. Kind of like some other creatures I know..."
He pointed his finger at the shark and a wire thin stream of highly pressurized water jettisoned forward. Using this he sliced several large chunks from the shark. The same water froze around each chunk, preserving them. After excising five large pieces he picked them up two at a time and carried them down to the fridge. Once finished he wiped his hands on his pants.
"Well, lets give it a try. At worst we fuck it up and I use my power to move us along and possibly you make it stay nighttime. It will take longer but we aren't really in much of a hurry are we?" He walked down and to the middle of the boat. He reached down and pulled open a hatch that revealed the functioning motor. He glanced up at Tristen and raised an eyebrow. "Well, shall we do this or not?"

Tristen watched as the male pondered over Tristen's plan before slicing off slabs of meat and freezing them to preserve the meat. A brow rose,"You're comparing me to a Shark? The thing from which I just fed and from which you carve slabs of meat out of as if it were some pig in the butchers shop?" his head cocking to the side,"Remember, my kind are the Apex predator amongst the worlds. Our equals or the stage below us are the Were-Beasts and beneath them the list goes on. Until we reach mortals, none with gifts such as yourself but mortals none the less. A respect between prey and predator, some you come to view with respect. There is a bond and respect between predators such as the Shark and myself." he nodded towards the creature."We are both predators so yes, you can say I am like a shark." he sighed his little speech over with.
He followed the male to the engine,"Yes, I can banish the sun from the sky and you can keep us floating along with your powers but for how long hm? Say we blow the engine to bits. I banish the sun away for days on end and you keep as drifting towards our destination. The toll will be hardest on you..." his orbs narrowed, "I can hunt the sea for food. You will be constantly draining your energy and reserves to keep us on course and on a steady pace, rest will not be an option for you lest we drift off course and end up in some foreign sea."
Tristen sighed as Alekzander questioned him once again,"Fine, let's have at it." he growled softly, stepping beside the male. He felt the power building up crackling within him, small jets leaping between his fingers. Slowly the power built, jumping about his body and arms leaving warm spots upon his flesh as they leapt about before he smirked and looked at him."On the count of three.." his orbs narrowed upon the engine, as he held his hands out towards the engine."One..." the air seemed to be alive with energy as he continued to amass the energy within himself."Two...." the brightness about the streams of lighting that leapt about him were almost angelic in nature."Three!" the sharp hiss, lighting leapt from his hands into machine with a blinding brightness and steady stream.

Alekzander simply raised an eyebrow above his left orb, chuckling softly. There was no such thing as an 'apex' predator. Everything was hunted by something else. Vampryes where routinely hunted and killed off by hunters. There was something that could swallow this very craft with himself and the Vamprye upon it with himself in a single swallow with out a hiccup. Everything was food for something else....and always ended up at worm bait.
However he said none of this out loud, not wishing for a debate or questioning. Then Tristen had followed him and began to prepare to electrify the engine, gathering energy visibly all over his body. Alekzander wasn't quite so flashy with it. He held his hands cup sideways, not fully pressing them together. Between them he began to gather energy, condensing it and compressing it.
When Tristen counted down he opened his hands and four small bursts of lighting shot forth, two from each hand. They crashed in to the machine at different points to spread out the sudden rush of power. Alekzander stumbled and stopped sending energy in to the engine as the boat lurched forward at a much faster rate of speed. Amusing he can prepare to send a burst of electricity in to something yet forgot to prepare for their intended affect.

Tristen grinned as the boat lunged forward, his body twisted. His right leg rising to allow his heel to catch against the wall of the back of the boat as he grinned. His heightened reflexes had set him to simply lounge upon the back wall as his hair whipped about within the vicious wind and sea sprays. His orbs narrowed upon the dark horizon with glee, the quest was well underway yet they still had much work to do before it would be accomplished. "Yes!" he whooped, as the boost had sent the boat knifing through the water like the plague through the dark ages of Europe. He turned flashing a smile to Aleksander and grinned, "This is rather productive!" he chuckled feeling the spray of the salty sea. The night air and the speed with which they were approaching their destination was great. The quest and possible answers to his questions would be fast approaching if they kept this rate. He smirked as his form moved forward, slowly heading towards the stairs he climbed upwards and glanced out at the sea grabbing ahold of the steering wheel as he maintained the already steady yet speeding course.

Alekzander chuckled as the boat speed forward with dramatically increased speed. He was glad he didn't have to return the boat, the increased speed was going to play hell on the motor itself and would probably never run again. That wasn't something he was concerned about however. They wouldn't need the boat after this, and Alekzander had an idea police where looking for it him, and this boat. So once they where finished with it he would make it look like the ship had been capsized and they both had been lost to the see.
Coming up on deck he sat upon one of the swiveling fisherman chair and watched the ocean speeding past them, the soft slaps of the waves against the hull. Whenever it get rough he smoothed the waves for them to continue their journey quickly and with incident. He glanced back at the Vamprye once. "So you said you have no memory. Yet you still know your own name. Is their anything else you remember yet don't remember?" Yea he was being sarcastic just a tad, but it wasn't in a rude way. Just...a wanting to find out more about his mysterious blood sucking companion who he was about to spend several days at the very least with. It wasn't everyday you spent a good amount of time with a blood sucking demon of the night after all.

As they flew across the foaming sea, Tristen sighed knowing they would not be able to continue revving up the motor of the boat as they had just done without serious consequences if not only being able to do it this singular time. As the thought slipped into his mind, his brow furrowed, how in the hell had his companion gotten this boat in the first place? He wouldn't mind if he had stolen it or purchased it but it was a rather curious question if not one of the few he had for the man.As he heard approaching footsteps, Tristen turned and watched the man seat himself in one of the spinning seats and speak to him. Had the man used a bit of sarcasm? Tristen rolled his eyes," I remembered general things, I believe if I see something that I had used before, a car, a phone, keys, computers. It's like my body simply acts without me even knowing how to do it. Such as with the sword.." he spoke of the weapon downstairs,"I have no recollection what so ever of training to use it but I simply react. It's kind of instinct if you will but I believe a bit more complicated.."
He sighed as his hand rose and ran through his hair, "Besides that I remember vague things...Snow...lots of snow." as he spoke of the snow, a smile began to spread across his features."Cold, unforgiving winds.." he chuckled and shook his head,"Icy eyed beings, I assume my vampire Kin." he shrugged and looked at his companion."That's all I remember."

Alekzander listen to the male intently, nodding. It was normal for those who where experience and well trained to act based on instinct. Apparently his vamprye companion was use to fighting, and was very good at it. Something else the two of them had in common. Although Alekzander much prefer his pistols to a sword. Perhaps maybe one day in the future somebody couldn't train him in the fine art of swordsmanship. It was worth a try, though he doubted he would be any good at it.
Alekzander looked at Tristen and chuckled. "Well if you react that easily and well with something, that means your good with it. Like myself and my pistols." He patted his weapons smiling. "I've become so good with them I can almost engage in hand to hand combat with them. Means your good." He shrugged and chuckled. "If you truly don't remember anything, yet have those skills still then you only need to find a trigger. Something familiar or important that will force a..a jump in your brain that will bring back all the rest. Your lucky you at least remember your name though."
The water elemental looked out over the ocean and grinned. "So, after the Dead Sea we will need to get to get it Crete and also Lake Victoria. Any ideas on how to do that. I have a feeling this boat won't do the trick and that would take an exceptionally long time. Crete wouldn't be to bad if we had my own personal ship, but getting all the way across the ocean to America would be quite a long trip. Perhaps you have a clever idea? Cause the only thing I could think of is an airplane...and I personally despise flying but will do it, yet I have a feeling you don't like airplanes either."

As the male's companion spoke, he nodded his head as he listened to the male speak. He smirked, as the male spoke about his skill with his gun."That's interesting and I have a feeling that your skill with your guns and my skill with the blade will need to be handy." for some reason the Vampyre had a sense of foreboding, his orbs flickering out to the distant sea. The dark skies, and even darker water they currently sailed upon, his nostrils flared as he breathed it all in. He turned back to the human as he spoke,"I don't believe it will be that simple. It won't be something common like a bloody door, I've sat in countless libraries for countless hours staring at various countries, oceans, continets, staring at snow." his orbs narrowed,"I've traveled through miles of darkness, for what? I'm no closer to remembering a single thing on my past. I've resorted to helping some bloody smelly Hag who lives in a filthy hut, attempting to find and create a creature of enormeous power and magnitude to whatever her end might be. Do you not see how desperate I am? That I'm doing all this?" the slightly hysteric and agitated tone leaked in his voice,"For God's Sake, yesterday I almost died for this past I have no idea of.
He gritted his teeth and let loose a deep breath,"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that to you. I'm simply angry, I shouldn't have done that." he glanced at the male and gave a bow of his head,"My apologies." he sighed, as he allowed his left hand to rise to brush through his jet black silky locks. As his companion spoke of what to do next, Tristen thought to himself."Hm, you're right. I doubt that this boat will be of much use after it slows, the motor will most likely give if not move at half the speed we started with it." he turned and glanced to the dark waters,"I don't mind a plane but the piolet and passengers will be rather interested in why the sun has seemingly vanished." his arms folded over his chest as he thought,"We could get to the Dead Sea, get rid of this boat. We find a town, resupply and find a trucker. I mesmerize him, he takes us as close as he can on land and then we either fly the rest of the way or get on a fisher mans ship and sail to your ship." he glanced at the male,"Thoughts on my plan?"
Post by Alekzander Faustine on Aug 11, 2013 22:57:29 GMT -5
Alekzander looked at the male raising his eyebrow. "Yea...a great idea. Lets drive all the way there, traveling completely around the Mediterranean Sea in a truck. Take twice as long, then we can still run in to the issue of flying upon a plan. Sounds like a great idea, Almost as good as having sexual intercourse with a prostitute who admits it having STDs." He rolled his eyes and looked across the ocean. "A boat or an would be our best beat. Because we can go straight there. Crete is an island after all, and not accessible by anything other then those. So we either purchase or get my boat somehow, one which is a lot faster then this one, or we fly upon a plane. Where we will run in to the issue of sunlight...unless we book a night time flight. It shouldn't be much longer then two hours after all. Crete is just south of Greece which is north of the Dead Sea."
He shrugged. "Or we can take a week long car drive completely around through the deserts and pray to the gods we can keep the sun away for that amount of time. I prefer getting this over with quickly. Just a personal preference though." He chuckled and leaned back in his seat watching the ocean ahead. They should be getting close now to Tel Aviv, where they could find there way across Israel to the Dead Sea. Of course that was making it sound simple...however they could rent a car and once in the desert the Vamprye could make it night time and they could move freely about and make good time. They probably should avoid Jerusalem as well, as it was going to be a major tourist trap and delay them greatly with all the people there.

Tristen rolled his eyes,"Fine, it was a suggestion. We commence with your plan, but we need to get rid of this boat." his orbs narrowed on the horizon, land was slowly becoming more and more visible it would seem like a distant dark mass to mortals eyes. Although, his heightened gaze could see it for what it was. He glanced at his partner,"Alright, about ten miles off shore I want you to capsize this thing." he knew the male could control water, they had rode on a wave of water he had created out of thin air. So this task should not be to difficult,"We can either swim, or you can get us to shore with some well maneuvered waves." his shoulders rolling,"My clothing should be dry..." Tristen slipped back down the stairs and grabbed his sword lashing it around his waist, before slipping back into his button down and black trench coat. His feet sliding into the boots as he grinned, it was a bit moist but he would take care of it. His eyes close as lighting seemed to generate about an six inches off of his body.
The residual heat steaming the air about him, as his clothes dried almost instantly. He chuckled and slipped back up top and beside his partner before frowning."Oh, crap. My clothes are dry...and we're getting wet again...that was pointless." the immortal sighed and shook his head. They were getting close to land,"You should capsize us, now." he turned to Alekzander and nodded, the boat was still moving swiftly yet not as swiftly as it had. The energy was dying, losing its power from their supercharged and would become useless.

Alekzander chuckled and sat waiting for the right time. Even after Tristen said now. He stood up and as he did he cause the water to begin swelling beneath the ship. Striding over to his companion, he place a hand upon his shoulder and shoved him roughly, directly over the side of the boat in to the swelling wave beneath him. Snickering he caused the wave to swell higher, then having it satisfactory he stepped to the edge of the boat. "Aurevoir!" He saluted the vessel then dove over board.
He pushed the wave forward an it broke, becoming a tidal wave that crashed over the shore. The boat smashed against the sand as rocks, breaking apart then being sucked back out to the open sea. Alekzander stood and chuckled, then caused the water to flow from himself to the ground leaving himself completely dry. "Well now, wasn't that exciting." He laughed and looked around for Tristen. Spotting the Vamprye he walked towards him and did the same, drying the blood sucker off with a simple thought.
"Excellent! We are with in walking distance to town. I kept the wave small to reduce damage else where while making it convincing still. As soon as we obtain a car we will only have a few hoes ride to the Dead Sea. However...we won't have enough light. Also, I need a few hours sleep. So, your driving. Once at the sea, I'll clear a path and then gather some of the brine salt. I'll just make sure to grab enough and we can weigh off the ounce later. Then you can do that whole night thing you do and we are good to go for the second item."

Tristen had been so preoccupied with the approaching mass that was land that he was easily caught off balance. The shove sent the vampire stumbling and over the railing, his eyes widening."Son a Bi-!" his words cut off by the consuming sea that swallowed him in a splash and mass ripple. Bubbles leapt to life about him as he allowed his body to sink a few yards beneath the waves. Allowed the water to carry him, he could hear the echoes of a splash within the water as he turned and saw a shadow within the sea. It was the water controlling bastard that had shoved him into these cold and wet waters. As he began to swim towards him, the waves swelled his body drawn back before violently shoved forward.
He could feel sand beneath his feet as he stood and dragged his sopping wet form onto the drier beach. His hair dripped like every other part of his body as well as his clothing, the sting of the sea burning within his nostrils as he stood and turned seeing his partner. The male gritted his teeth as he stalked closer, yet a chuckle was the response he found. As the water seemed to flee from his body leaving the immortal dry. The male sighed and shook his head, as he listened to the male speak his plan. Tristen rolled his eyes,"I can see perfectly in the dark, no need to worry about such things." his head lifting to the southern blowing breeze. As his nostrils flared,"Exhuast fumes, sweat, garbage..." a slight smirk stretched across his features,"A half a mile to the north of here.." his form moved in front as he took point."Cover..." his orbs flickered about as he scanned the darkened corners of the beach."There are things here, that do not belong to the mortal world..."
His form relaxed yet ready to spring into action as he pressed on along the sandy beach, his left hand resting upon the hilt of his katana which rode upon his left hip. Even though he would draw with his right, he still had the dagger upon his waist.

Alekzander listened to the male and nodded in approval. He knew the male could see in the dark perfectly, that he himself could not. Then Alekz watched him relax and prepare for action. His eyes not as good and hearing not as well, Alekz wasn't sure what was headed this way yet he wasn't afraid. He drew both his pistols grinned, holding then at his sides ready to spring in to action. He leaned close to whisper.
"What is it Tristen and where from?" As he spoke, above them he began to gather electricity in the sky, preparing what many have witnessed as 'dry lighting'. Although he doubted he would be able to hit whatever was out there that wasn't his true goal in anyways. He held the lightning at bay, slowly intensifying it along with the static electricity all around them due to the constant movement of the sands. He raised his left pistol up to the side of his face while his right hand remained down an flicked the safety from off to 'single alt' fire mode.

Tristen could see them, they were black as night a perfect cover in the darkness. Although, to the vampire he could see them perfectly. His right hand idling behind his back as gripping the silver hilted dagger that rode upon the back of his waist. As Alekzander questioned him, Tristen shook his head."Humanoid in appearance but their faces...like dogs." his orbs snapped up to the right, as his ears attuned to the soft yet quick movements."Their fast and agile, there are six of them." he could see them perfectly approaching fanning out to surround the pair."Alekzander...two are coming around at your six O'Clock. Eight yard dimeter, they're trying to surround us." it was after he spoke, that Tristen heard a snarl echoed around them disturbing the wash and pull of the waves.
The Immortal smirked, his fangs lengthening as his orbs locked upon the swiftly moving group. His own growl released in a challenge, he could feel the power building in the air. It seemed to be concentrated around them, Alekzander must be doing it. Tristen gripped the hilt of his dagger and allowed the flow of electricity to swim through the blade. He chuckled,"Let's go hunting..." his form moving with his Vampiric speed as he now stood back to back with Alekzander."They're fast, I can't risk you getting killed. So we stay back to back..." he needed the water controlling mortal for their future endeavors in this quest.

Alekzander listened to the male and the growls around him. He grinned and nodded. "Good, close your eyes." He commanded and released the energy he had gathered. A magnificent streak of lighting streaked towards the ground even burning slightly through Alekzander's close eyelids. The creatures around them where not so lucky and howled in pain as their dark aligned eyes where suddenly filled with blinding, glaring light.
As soon as the light faded Alekzander snapped his eyes open. He grinned and spotted the two creatures standing and pawing at their eyes. He extended one pistol and pulled the trigger. He summoned water around the end of the barrel and began spinning it violently on a vortex that would cone out behind the speeding bullet and keep pace with it. When the bullet slammed in to one of the creature's chest, the spinning vortex of water followed. It entered the wound right behind the bullet then ripped the entire chest of the beast apart with it's corkscrewing pattern and dropped whatever it was instantly, missing the entire chest cavity including rubs, lungs, and heart. The other creature bolted instantly in terror seeing it's brethren dropped in a single attack.
