Ca'guuror mumbled under his breath, something about really needing a drink and not caring. He ignored the flattery, flicking his eyes at Tamreta and shrugged his shoulders, sighing deeply.
"At least I try, Tam. My jokes might be bad, but I simply try to lighten the mood. Life is to short to live taking it so seriously. You should learn to loosen up a little. You know, OIL those CREAKY joints of yours a little." He smirked, knowing she would get the point but that it would breeze right past Daniela's head.
"As for my repeated plunges into new endeavors, as you so brilliantly and eloquently state it, all I have to say is at least I do things. A lot more then I can say of most people. I like to live life, not watch it pass by from the side lines. Also, I always accomplish my goals, do I not?" He smirked slightly at that, then grimaced as she mentioned his secret keeping ability. His smile faded and he turned back to facing forward, his elbow coming to rest upon the bar counter and his chin resting in his palm. He bite his lip to keep from snapping at Tam. He knew she meant well. But she just didn't know him well enough.
"Its wrong to lie and hide who I truly am...no matter the consequences...." he whispered low, more to himself than anybody else really. He became lost in thought again, staring off into space and his eyes glossing over with a whitish opaque as his mind wandered. He tried to pay attention to Tamreta again, but his mind kept wandering to his childhood. He nodded absently as Tamreta mentioned that Daniela could come along, showing his consent.
"Yea, you can both come along with me. I don't really mind. Though once we get there, I might have to leave the two of you for a little while. Won't be longer then a day. I am sure you two beautiful ladies could find a way to entertain yourselves during that time with no problems. I just pray you stay out of trouble while I am gone." The thought of fighting the sphinx was enough to pull Cag back to reality and he smiled at the two.
"As you insist Tams. Wish you would let me pay for it. It would make me feel much more comfortable, you know. Just a Cag thing I guess." He chuckled, waving at the bar man to come over and motioned uptairs. "Your best room, sir, for my female friend here," he placed his hand upon Daniela's shoulder, "and the cheapest you have for myself."
