The three helicopters followed the young dragon, with the two small fighting copters given special instructions to keep and eye upon the larger, more powerful Draecion. They flew the rest of the day, and when the young drakling started to descend, they followed. After settling upon the ground, the helicopters slowed their rotors but did not stop them completely, as they would all have to lift back off and go refuel later at the nearest military base.
The men all piled out of the copters, quickly setting up a small camp with several tents for the soldiers to sleep in. Two other tents where erected, one for General Atrax and the other for Vladimir. Finally, Atrax and the German translator approached Bala with a map rolled up in his hands. He sat down and spread the map upon the earth before them, using several small stones to hold the corners down.
"Bala, may I ask you to point out the general location of where Mengele is? I promise this is not to trick you and leave you behind. I just need to know to calcuate fuel consumption, and where we need to avoid. The drug lords in south america would be all to happy to shoot down three america helicopters." Atrax began placing several small stones upon the map in specific spots, making sure each one was extremely accurate upon the map as the private translated his words into German for the dragon.
"These are the worst places for drug lords to attack us. They are very prevalent and have the fire power to make us nervous. If you can, we would wish to avoid these places for the most part. If you find you have to fly through them, just make sure to be very watchful. They will most likely fire upon you as well. Dragon parts are much sought after as black magic ingredients." He smiled, waiting for the translator to finish and watching Bala closely.
Spotting Vladimir, he waved for him and Draecion to approach them and sit. He waved his hand at the map, and spoke to Vlad.
"Any suggestion from your angle dragon rider? I am always open to some that will keep all of us safe and well."

Bala looked at the map, then to Atrax. "That's why it's best not to bring such a huge group.." he mumbled under his breath. "As long as you're not the DEA they'll be alright with you, you're not any threat to them as long as you ignore their blustering. The drug lords will only object if you fly over their territories, which are here." he indicated them with a claw. "I'd rather we continued without too much fanfare, is there a way you can leave one of your helicopters to meet us on the way back?" he asked in concern. The less noise they were making the better. "They're not going to be interested in attacking dragons. Attacking dragons takes large amounts of firepower and time, and making sure all the parts are retained without too much damage almost takes drugging on the ground. So as long as we're in the air, they would be concerned about us cracking one of our valuable wing bones or something."
He shifted a pebble to show where Mengele was. "It's an old drug compound that was burned out by the columbian government a few years back. The basement there was good for experiements, so we moved in." he said quietly. "But you need to stay back here." he indicated a small river. "If you came barging in within sight of Mengele he would be more likely to take down some of your men and salvage their parts than to accept your offer. He's....particular." Bala settled back down, looking south toward their goal. "We can refuel at the American Embassy, but I can't get near there. Neither can my master."
"Faith moves mountains, but intelligence moves them to the right place."

Draecion landed taking notice that Vladamir was thinking of something. Vladamir dismounted and made his way over to where the general and the white dragon was standing, discussing their route. Looking to the General he spoke, " What is the young dragon saying?" Vladamir leaned over looking at the places Bala was showing on the map. Vladamir had an idea, a way to get around the drug lords in the area, and figure he would discuss this with the General now. " General Atrax, if you wish, I know the territory. The places the dragon pointed to are small camps, they harbor around 500 to 1000 troops, mostly farm workers, and slaves. Now, if Draecion flies here." Vladamir pointed a bit west where the camps were, and then to the east. " Draecion can ignite the fields here, causing a panic, allowing your copters to pass with no one trying to stop you. When they see a dragon attacking their fields the workers will run and hide, as well as the soldiers stationed. The soldiers know the dragon will pick up on the smell of gunpowder, as well as them as a threat, meaning the dragon will attempt to eliminate any threat to himself."
Pausing for a minute he gathered himself. " Here." Vladamir pointed further up north, a large line cut through the country side. " This is a major road they use for transporting their goods. At this point there is a large militia stationed. They have the fire power to shoot your coptors from the air without thinking about it. Me and Draecion avoid the area, your coptors will be alot more noticeable from a distance from the beating of their blades. This means taking this route here." Vladamir moved his hand down to the current location along the border where they were currently stationed. Running his hand up the map, he traced a trail. The path he had drawn out for them, went around the tops of a small mountain range, which supplied the drug lords with water, the river from the mountains cut straight through their territory. " Taking this route, will lead us around any farm, and camp they have out. It will only add around twelve minutes to our flight time, but it's well worth not alerting the large malitia they have stationed to the north. Also we wont have to burn none of their crops, and it would look better for all of us, considering their money income, they could be some allies at one point in time, or raided for their wealth and guns."
Atrax listened intently as the translator quickly rattled off what Bala was saying to himself and Vladimir. He nodded to himself at the points and positioning that Bala mentioned. He then turned and listened intently to Vladimir. He waved at the translator to tell Bala what the dragon rider had been saying. The private huffed but obeyed, knowing the consequences of disobedience to Atrax. Atrax sat back, contemplating what the two had told him, stroking his mustache and beard.
He looked up and spoke to the translator first to relay his message to Bala.
"I appreciate the idea, dragonling. But I would prefer to keep the helicopters. A matter I might discuss with you later in private if you wish to know. So we will follow Vladimir's path along the mountains here. I do not wish to harm any innocent people, or ruin their hard labor. So yes we will take that route. I will stop on the other side of the river as you asked, and while we wait I will send my vehicles to refuel at the Embassy. Then all will be taken care of and we can all be on our way."
Atrax stood and dusted his hands off on his pants and barked orders at a nearby pilot to take the copters one at a time to the near by military base and refuel them. He then turned to another man and discussed watches and stations around the camp. After making very good certain all was in order, and if they where happened to be attacked his guests would be well protected, he squatted down again.
"Would either of you like food? Water? You can rest safely in this camp. Nobody with a partially working mind will attempt to attack us for any reason." He nodded with satisfaction and awaited their responses to his questions of food or water.
