    "Sure thing, Chief," The young man conceded through a handful of candy. He looked around the room, wondering what he was gonna be able to do while he waited. Jack wasn't exactly the type to stand still for too long. He preferred to be in motion, doing something or going somewhere. Luckily, Abraxas almost immediately added that his shift was over and they didn't have to stick around the clinic looking at boring clinic stuff.

    Jack chuckled at the reaper's joke. Maybe he had a lighter side to him than the young man had seen so far. "Coffee sounds like a good idea. Might even miss those bullies from earlier entirely. Don't let me have more than one, though. I can get a bit hyper." He popped in another handful of gummy bears.

    "I appreciate the risk you're taking, revealing your supernaturalness. I get how difficult that can be sometimes and you don't have to worry about me blowing the whistle on you or something." He held up his left arm, the one Abraxas had healed. "I definitely owe you one for this and I don't like to toot my own horn, but, Tenebrous Jack always pays his debts. You need a favor, just call. I'm the guy. Someone needing a beatdown in Laos? I'm there. Karsaks snatch your skittles in Nysa? Taken care of."

    "Now let's go get that coffee. I'm assuming you know a place near here?"
