He nodded slowly, looking out the window as she finally understood. He was worried she would run, to scream and flee the room. It would be an understandable reaction. Instead she showed curiosity. Almost no fear at all in fact. A rather remarkable attribute indeed. He looked back at her and reached out, catching her wrist with his long fingers and pulling her gently to him. He smiled and wrapped his other arm around her waist, holding her tight against him. He released her hand, and slowly slide his hand up her back and pressed against the back of her head.
"Does this not frighten you? In the slightest bit? That you hear nothing? Feel nothing?" He asked softly, pressing her ear against his chest, right over his heart. He released her gently, leaving it up to her if she wanted to step away from him or stay there.
"If you don't want to stay with me now, I promise I won't force you. I also promise if you do stay, I will not drink from you with out your consent." He smiled and tossed her still slightly damp hair a little, chuckling.

She was walking around him when he grabbed on to her wrist and spun her to him, she let out a gasp of surprise. His arm wrapped around her waist pressing her body against his. She blushed deeply as he pressed her head to his chest. She heard...nothing. She closed her eyes and listened to nothing. The medical wonder flowed through her brain, how his body worked, how the blood flowed without the heart to pump it, excitement flooded her body, not just the excitement of knowledge, but a sexual excitement, an entirely new feeling for her. She rolled in it a bit, wondering about the heat that now coarse through her body, feeling it down to her toes. She stepped back after he had spoke. "Fear it?" She asked, before shaking her head slightly. She placed her hand against his chest palm down, over where his dead heart laid. "Just because it doesn't beat and I don't feel it doesn't mean you can't feel with it." She replied honestly. She was always nice to everyone, it was probably her vice. Even people she didn't like she was nice too. He didn't scare her, and he kept saying he wouldn't harm her. He had gotten her out of jail, so she had no reason to fear him, or worry he would take advantage of her. She bit her bottom lip and fidgeted a moment before dropping her hand off his chest. "I will stay, as long as you continue to be honest with me. I will be with you." She said with a soft smile that made her eyes sparkle.
He blinked, not having expected her reaction at all. She was warm against him, almost hot even. He could smell her excitement, her arousal. It startled him a little. It was odd. Yes he had smelled it before from other girls, but not directed at him like this. It was strange and wonderful at the exact same time. He leaned forward, unable to resist and caught her lips against his. He kissed her deeply, passionately. He lengthened the kissed from moments into minutes, then pulled away suddenly and stepped back, gasping.
"I...I am sorry. I didn't mean to do that. It's just, your smell. It is unlike any I have ever smelt before...." He stepped forward and slowly pushed her hair from her neck, and bent slightly. He brushed his lips next to her jugular, then stepped back and smiled.
"You see, I will not harm you. I will be as honest as you want. Ask me anything. I will tell you. Anything at all. I probably shouldn't, but I don't care anymore. You are the only female I have felt this way about in my entire life. So I give you everything. You have my undead heart. I would even give you my soul, but from the rumors it is already gone." He smiled weakly, but looked intently at her.

He had caught her off guard. His lips pressed against hers in a kiss. The heat flaming up once more from the depths of her stomach. The kiss deepened and lengthened in Passion, as his body pressed against hers. Overwhelmed she responded to her body not her brain, returning the kiss in wanton need.
As suddenly as the kiss started it ended, he broke away, leaving her gasping and cold. She wrapped her arms around herself, to stem the sudden cold, as a blush rose in her cheeks. She forced herself to look up at him, feeling ashamed of what she had just done. She gasped out in pleasure as he leaned down towards her, his fingers trailing against her skin, followed by his lips. Her knees went weak for a moment as she caught herself, her eyes widening to him.
"Does it hurt?" She found herself asking. She could be talking about numerous things, but she was talking about being bitten.
"If you were to feed of me, I mean?" She corrected, blushing again, though curiosity was getting the better of her now.
Orpheus looked at the ceiling, thinking about her question. He had never felt any of his bites, as they had all happened in his sleep. The bite to transform him into a vamprye had been excruciating agony. As if fire had flooded his body and seared him from the inside out. But that wasn't how it was when he feed, or at least he hoped it wasn't. His lips parted slowly, but no words came out for a few moments before he finally spoke softly.
"To be honest, I really don't know. When I was feed from in my life, I was always asleep. That is the best way for my coven of vamprye to feed. So whenever I feed from anybody, I don't usually bite them. I use a simple pocket knife or my straight razor to cut a small gash on them, usually on the back of the arms where they can't see with out the help of a mirror. Also I won't drink to much from one person. If I am extremely hungry and in need, I will drink from multiple people so as not to weak one person to much. That way my feedings go almost entire unknown. They simply thing it was a scratch from something the when they finally notice the cut, and go about their lives."
He finally looked back at her, and smiled charmingly. It felt slightly odd to be talking about his feeding habits with a human. But it also was so natural. He felt at peace with her. He wanted to be with her for a long time. Perhaps, forever. They could sit and talk about anything, and everything. He was willing to do that. She was just so natural around him. And the kiss.....when her body had been against him, she fit perfectly. He wanted to do it again, but thought it wouldn't be very wise at the moment.

She listened intently, something she was good at. Then again it wasn't that hard to listen to him, it was like she had done it before, like they were old friends. Old friends who she wanted to kiss her like that again. She leaned back against the wall as she thought about what he was saying. "You've never bitten anyone?" It wasn't a question, more of a statement. She bit her bottom lip softly looking up at him. Her eyes went slot up his body, before looking into his eyes. She thought for a long moment, before running her fingers through her hair, breaking apart some curls, the loose strands falling down into her face, framing it. "You have my permission, if you need too...feed, you can from me. I won't mind." She said looking at him. She knew he wasn't going to hurt her, probably not ever and she felt a friendship blooming from this. The only issue was the warring emotion of arousal that coursed through her veins at he current moment. All of her attention was on him, as he spoke she listened to him completely, with her mind. Her body betrayed her and payed attention to him in other ways, which she struggled with. She has never, ever thought or felt like this about someone, nevermind acted on it. She couldn't get her mind to stop thinking about how comfortable it had been against him, how warm his cool body made hers. She blushed at the thoughts, turning her head slightly away from him, her hair falling down into her face to block her blush from him as she fidgeted. She couldn't stop thinking about that kiss, but she needed too, she had too.
Orpheus thought about the offer, his eyebrows furrowing towards each other as he stroked his chin in contemplation. He looked at Bless, the offer a free meal stirring the growing need to feed. He shook his head slowly. He didn't want to feed from her. To mark her fair skin was not something he was willing to do for anything. He would find somebody, or just break into a hospital and get some blood there. Not very appetizing, but it worked.
"No, I won't feed from you. It doesn't seem right. I only just meet you. We...have not even properly introduced ourselves yet, you know that?!" He laughed as the realization hit him, and he stepped forward, close to her again. His arm slipped around her waist, pulling her against him. His other hand found hers, fingers twisting into her own and raising it up high. He suddenly began to sway to the non-existance music in his head, looking down at her. He smiled and slowly began to increase their swaying, adding in a slow clockwise spin.
"Well hello there pretty lady. My name is Orpheus Tuttle. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He chuckled at the silliness of it all, but the very personal way it was happening at the same time.

He swept her up into a dance a squeal of surprise escaping her lips, they swayed for a bit, the closeness of each other making her blush. When he mentioned that they hadn't been introduced she blanked as the realization hit her. He introduced himself and she smiled looking up to him. "Orpheus Tuttle, I am pleased to meet your acquaintance, I am Bless Farmer, and I should Thank You for rescuing me from the grips of criminological society." She spoke with a smile as they swayed to music she couldn't hear. Her body was pressed against his in a formal matter, his hand on her waist, brought a heat to her cheeks. She forced the heat down, pushing what she was feeling aside, she barely knew the man, and she wasn't one to go head over heels for the first man to act gentlemanly like. The fact that it was so easy to talk to him, and so comfortable against him, wasn't helping the battle in her mind. She looked back up to him, after resting her head on him while she thought, her eyes looking to his. He had kissed her though, she didn't think she had imagined something so elaborate, and she had returned the kiss. She had never been kissed...even like that, but it felt right. She scolded herself. The thoughts she was thinking, she wasn't raised like this, her mother would be rolling over in her grave if she knew her daughter was kissing a man unwed, let alone a vampyre! She stepped back away from him seeming to fold in on herself. She looked at him, the smile faded from her face.
"I....I..." She sputtered, she couldn't say she didn't want to be so close, because she liked it, but if her father knew! "Im sorry..." It was clear on her face that a mental battle was raging in her mind, and clearly it was giving her a head ache. She put her palms to her temples pressing them to ease the building pressure. "My body is telling me, well I don't know what its telling me, not to be afraid...I guess, but my mind...oh my father would have a coronary if he knew what I was doing right now, not that it matters I'm an adult, but he's still my father and I still look for his approval, and he raised me into God and oh lawdy if he knew the thoughts that my brain was thinkin' riaght now, he would preach me like he ain't ever preached on Sunday mornin'" her eyes widened as she gasped and covered her mouth. She had rambled and as she rambled her accent got thicker as she got more excited, in more ways then one. She backed up against the wall her hands over her mouth. -Stupid woman- she scolded to herself as she watched his reaction to her rambling
He stopped, blinking as she spoke and her voice changed. It became absolutely adorable and irresistible to him and he stepped after her, wrapping his arms around her waist again. He smiled but did not kiss her this time, simply enjoying her warmth and and loving her. Yes, loving her. He knew he loved this woman, and would do anything for her, even die. She was perfect, so utterly perfect. Adorable, modest, cute, beautiful. It was perfect. Even her body heat against him was amazing. He nuzzled her neck softly and sighed.
"Well, we won't tell him that we kissed, or you had perfectly natural thoughts. As I said before, if you are uncomfortable with something, I will not ever force you to do anything. You just feel so...perfect and right here. Pressed against me your warmth almost makes me feel human again." He stopped shaking his head. He was being slightly stupid and knew it. He tilted her chin up to look into her eyes, just staring into them for several moments. He sighed and slowly slid his finger up her chin to trail over her lips.
He suddenly swept her off her feet and carried her to the bed. He pulled back the sheets with one hand deftly, and laid her upon the bed. He brought the sheets back up, tucking them gently around her and laying down beside her on the bed, his body pressing against hers slightly. He whispered softly in her ear, as he used his ability of Hypnotic slumber to put her to sleep. "See you in your dreams, love."

She tensed as the thoughts raced through her head. His hard arms wrapped around her and she melted, mentally and physically. "I never said it made me uncomfortable," she mumbled after burying her face into his chest. "It's that it feels so comfortable, I feel...well....naughty." She added with a blush. It was a new experience for her, by it felt so right. His fingers trailed on her skin lifting her head to look at him. She longed to close the distance between them, to place her lips to his once more. Before the thought could process into a more inappropriate thought he swept her off her feet, her arms going around his neck as she held on tight, he pulled back the bed sheets and laid her in them, before tucking her in. He climbed in next to her as she rolled to face him. He whispered in her ear, as inexplainable need to sleep over came her, like she was being drugged, and she soon fell into a deep comfortable dream.
A bright colored hallway filled with deep green, bright blue with white puffs, and a nature scene filled with animals, insects and children handprints. Rooms lined down the hallways in alternating colors, green and purple. A name on each plaque to the right of every door holding each name and a number in the same places. ROOM 653
JVL l.kemia Coldwell, Antony 6 yrs
The soft sound of footsteps filled her ears. Her own footsteps. She looked down to the light blue hospital shrubs, white lab jacket, a stethescope hanging around her neck; a green one even, her favorite color. Her name tag over her right breast.
Dr. Bless Farmer Ph.D Children's Oncology
Lifting her head as she stopped at a name plate, lifting up the metal clipboard she held.
ROOM 691
Meningiona. Malignant Carter, Victoria
She paused at the door, she was going in to say something but she couldn't remember what. She glanced down at the chart. That was a rare cancer, from the looks of it the child wasn't doing well. A little girl. Viccy, she liked to be called. There was something.... Uhg she couldn't remember, the fluid in Viccy's brain was building rapidly, they could drain it...no they couldn't, what was it. It was on the tip of her brain, she couldn't remember. She stopped completely and looked through the chart quickly, the nurse standing beside her looking puzzled. 'What am I looking for?' She wondered hopeing she had written a note or something. She saw it. The parents refused surgery thought she was too young. Need to convince them, that she's too young to die. She stepped into the hospital room and gasped. The scent of death choked her and she covered her mouth, blood covered the room, three bodies their throats torn out strewn about the room. Nurses and other doctors flew past her attending to the bodies.
"there's nothing you can do...." she whispers, reaching out to touch a nurse.
"I've seen this before...their gone." She choked out, before being pushed from the room. She turned and walked numbly out of the hallway, down to the stairs, up the stairs to the roof and opening it, a blast of sweet Arkansas, summer night wind slammed into her face. Walking to the wall she leaned against it, releasing her long brown hair from the clasp of the hair clip. The breeze blew strong that night, a cresent moon hanging on the age of the night sky. She ran her hands down the front of her pale face. She didn't even know why she had worked this night. She always worked during the day. She leaned over the edge of the building, looking down to the ground 10 stories below.
A man, tiny and small walked down the ally, looking around as if he was hunting for something as he went. When suddenly a enormous gust of wind began to flow, whipping around him and catching at his leather pants and black long sleeve shirt. Up on top of the building, the wind was brutal, shoving against Bell's body no matter how hard she could fight against hit. It drove her towards the edge, then directly off and over it. It was a horrible thing, plunging to her death in slow motion.
The man below suddenly looked up, surely hearing the screams that she would certainly be letting loose. The reached out a hand, and created a cushion of air beneath her, quickly slowing her descent towards the ground before letting the air cushion go and catching her softly in his arms. He gently set her upon her feet and smiled his warm smile. His lips parted sensually as he spoke.
"Hello my darling. How are you? You should really try your best not to stand so precariously close to the edge. If I had not been here to save you, you may never have woke up again." He stroked her cheek tenderly before sliding his hand down her arm and twining his fingers in with her.
Orpheus squeezed her hand gently, smiling and nodding to her. Seeing her again, if even only in a dream world, was the best think he could ever imagine. It was beyond surreal. It was almost magical, as if a fantasy had come true. A special dream world where they could be together and do anything.
As he though about a fantasy world, the world around them dissolved like as if water had been thrown upon a drawing, the textures and everything melting away to be replaced by a brilliant blue sky. A giant field lay around them as, with ankle deep grass. A forest lay just a few yards away, and in the distance rose a magnificent castle. Even their cloths had changed. She was now in an elegant, though old fashioned dress. He was dressed in a light green and brown tunic and trousers. He smiled and flicked his free hand extravagantly, causing a beautiful white gyrfalcon feather to appear in his hand before tucking it behind her ear and smiling. He leaned his, brushing his lips against her cheek to her ear and whispered softly.
"Welcome my beloved. This is my world. My power. Here, I can control it. Anything or everything, even both, are at my disposal here in your dreams." He smiled and pulled back slightly, planting a soft kiss upon her soft flesh and then looking into her eyes.

She saw the man walking below her. She sighed and turned her back to the wall, sitting on it. The wind picked up horribly and pushed her against the wall, as she struggled to stand up. A gust pushed her and she went over screaming as she reached out with her hands scratching and tearing the skin off the tips of her fingers as she fell down, trying to find anything to save herself. She suddenly slowed her descent, like a giant pillow was placed under her, before the cushion was removed and she landed in the arms of...Orpheus? She blinked several times as he set her down on the ground. She was asleep. Damn, this was a good dream.
"You're really here? I'm not imagining you in my dream?" She asked just as the world around them melted away. A soft tingling was felt over her body, as she was suddenly blinded by the sun, squinting her eyes slightly. She looked about the field around her. She turned slightly, feeling the tug of the skirts against the ground. She looked down at the dress, the cream colored fabric stood it against her tanner skin, golden lace trimmed the edges, in a swirling pattern. She looked up to him, taking in the sight of him in the tunic and pants. Mighty handsome indeed. She watched his hand with a soft smile as he produced a feather and tucked it behind her ear, her wild curls holding it in place. She shivered as his lips touched her, her eyes looking to his.
"This is amazing." She said stepping towards him, tripping over the front of the dress, more so stepping on the fabric and knocking herself over as she slammed into his chest, a soft cry of surprise pushed past her lips as her arms wrapped around his waist, catching herself. She blushed and looked up towards him with a nervous laugh.
"I ment to do that...I er...wanted to be close to you."
Orpheus smiled and waved his hand towards the sky. Far above them a dragon appeared in the sky, slowly circling around them. The giant black dragon slowly fell from the sky, landing beside them and and lowering his front legs, offering for them to climb onto it's back. Orpheus picked up Bell, placing her upon the dragon's back. He leap up to the beasts back as well behind Bless. He wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her tightly against himself. He pressed his face into her hair, inhaling deeply as the dragon launched into the air.
The black dragon flew towards the castle in the distance, carrying the two beings through the air with ease and grace. The dragon flew quickly, letting wind whip through their hair. Orpheus smiled and kissed the back of Bless' neck as they flew, his hands slowly move from around her waist, sliding up her sides then down her arms. Orpheus slid his hands down her hands, slowly twining his fingers with hers to hold her hands as they flew towards the castle.
The dragon slowly settled into the middle of the castle, letting them off and then flying away into the sky and vanishing into the distance. The people of the castle gathered around them, talking excitedly about the wedding.

His scent was amazing to her. A sort of exotic earthy tone that surrounded her when she was near him. She stepped back biting her lip. She looked up as he waved his hand, her eyes widening at the sight of the dragon. She squealed and jumped behind him, hiding, her hands clutching the back of his tunic. She was in a magical world. Excitement flooded through her veins as the magnificent creature landed before them kneeling down for them to get on. She moved from behind him and towards the beast, walking up to it. She placed the palm of her hand against the scales below it's massive eyes, looking at it with a smile. She was scooped up, and placed on the dragon, her skirts not allowing her to side with a leg to each side, so she had to sit side saddle as it was, balancing herself cautiously. She looked at Orpheus as he climbed behind her, so she was almost sitting in his lap, a heat rising in her cheeks as she twisted to face forward. She thought she would have fallen off when the dragon took flight, if Orpheus hadn't been holding on to her waist tightly. She was all too aware of him. His touch on her waist, his kisses on her neck. Something stirred in the pit of her stomach, like someone had thrown lighter fluid on hot coals. Her body leaned into his as he entwined his fingers with her own, the breeze from flight the only thing cooling her hot body off. She swallowed hard as they landed people crowding around. They were in a castle. Orpheus helped her down and she ran her fingers through her wind swept hair, looking around at all the people. Wedding. She kept hearing the word wedding. She turned as the dragon flew off, looking at Orpheus. "We've arrived for a wedding?" She asked after catching her breath.
Orpheus actually blushed, being able to pull it off in this dreamscape of his. This was a rare sight, a vampyre actually blushing, and he couldn't believe he was actually doing it. He bit his cheek, looking up at the sky as she asked him about the wedding and sighed. His lips parted, and he spoke slowly.
"Well, there might be a wedding. A possibility I guess. You see, the future groom has yet to ask his future bride so he, well, doesn't know exactly what she will say. It is kind of sudden and all. But he knows that she is the only person in the world for him after all. He was pretty sure when he saw her the first time, sitting in the back of that police cruiser to be honest." He stuttered, blinking furiously and berating himself silently. He had just given it away probably. He sighed, and looked at Bless, biting his lip. He slowly dropped to one knee, taking her hand in his own and looking up at her.
"Bless Farmer, I know it seems sudden, and we have only just meet each other. But I know that you are the one for me. I would say soul mate, but unfortunately I do not think I have a soul anymore. But I know I love you, and will do absolutely anything for you. Even turn you if you asked, though if you wished that I would have a better option. But that will be later. Will you, Bless Farmer, marry me and spend the rest of your life with me? Please?" He stared up into her eyes, holding her hand gently, searching her gaze for a glimmer of her answer before she said it so that he wouldn't be to surprised by it if she said no. If that happened, he would leave her by. Leave her side in the bed she was in the real world, let her finish resting, and slip away into the night. IF she said yes however, well that changed everything. He did not want to turn her into a vampyre, though he would if she really wanted to. Instead, he was going to turn her into a vamprye's servant. That way she would be as strong as he and live forever just like he would. Then they could spend that forever together.
