It was a starry night in Russia. The sky could be clearly seen showing all the lights and the giant lantern above. Apollo remembered seeing those stars, counting everyone of them to past the time while caged in a cell. Now, he could count them freely, without the fear of hearing someone die or the fear of him dying.
As he was counting in his head all the shinning lights he saw, his dragon was busy flying above the world, picking a nice spot for the two to sleep for the night. They had been traveling all day, moving to a town in Russia for official business. He wanted to be a hunter of supernaturals, but the first thing he had to do was find someone to teach him about the abnormal world. A close friend gave him hints to where he could find a teacher. "Follow the unknown," his friend told him, implying that finding something inhuman would be where you would find a hunter. Taking his friends words to heart, he ended up in Russia, where a series of strange tiger attacks had been held. The tiger could not be found, no one owned a tiger in that town, yet the victim had tiger teeth and claw marks all over it. The case definitely sounded like something a hunter would get into.
*We're here, a cave inside the forest*
Apollo jumped up as his dragon partner spoke to him. Gracefully did his dragon land on the ground, first diving from the sky and making large noises that nearly woke everyone in the near town from the beds. "Shhhhh! Quiet Bayla!," Apollo said to the dragon.
*What does it matter? No one will come after us, and if they do then they will be melted.* Bayla retorted. Apollo sighed as he slowly climbed off of Bayla's back, where he would always be when he rode her from area to area. She was good transportation, but he had to do something about her large size.
"Hey Bayla, did you ever think about learning magic? You know, just shape shift so I could take you into town sometimes and show you the beauty of what I see up close."
Bayla spat to the ground when she heard Apollo's idea. She had never before thought of going into a city full of humans, and never wanted to. The boy laughed while he rested his back on her very large body, which was large enough to fill a two story house. Calmly, Apollo dug into his pocket to bring out a pack of cigarettes. The tobacco in these had a good taste, but horrible after effects. He had bought these while in America and had yet to use them, so one could imagine his excitement when he first opened the pack. Like a child ripping up a Christmas present, he tore off the wrapper then took out his first smoke. First he smelled it, which surprisingly had a delicious and savoring aroma to it, then he lit it with his lighter. His first inhale of the drug was large as he aspired to feel the full effect of it.
Bayla protested with a snort, *you are killing yourself when you smoke, and me too. Do you want both of us to die Apollo?*
The boy would stare at the dragon after some time of keeping the tainted wind in his lungs. "That is what we agreed to right Bayla? Us dying together."
It was the sound of something big.. unlike anything she had heard before that had Pandora curious. Her ears followed the sound. Whatever it was had dropped down near the cave she knew about. Pan walked around the forest often. She enjoyed the peace and quiet away from everyone else. This night seemed to be different. As she headed towards the cause of the disruption, she heard noises coming from inside the cave. Someone was talking. It was a males voice though she was not close enough yet to hear what was being said. Not many were stupid enough to go this far into the forest. Especially knowing about the vicious tiger that had been around recently. She figured whoever this person was would either be brave or stupid, maybe even both.
Pandora's steps were almost silent as she continued to stalk closer. Curiosity had set in. She needed to know what that sound was from earlier. It couldn't have been from the male. She had gotten close enough now to hear the words "dying together." Which means there were probably at least two inside the cave. Part of her wanted to rush in and get the fun started but instead she decided to wait a bit longer, hidden in the natural camouflage of the forest.

Linette surfaced in what she could only assume was Antarctica, for the frigid night air made her teeth chatter. " Darn, I knew I shouldn't have listened to those sea otters directions. She should've made a left at the fork in the river." Observing her surroundings; she could see that she was in a vast forest. Pine cones littered the ground and the nights creature we're all moving about in there own marvelous splendor. She wish she'd brought some of here sound equipment to record the fuzzy creatures.
It was then she heard a sound coming from a cave not to much farther down the river. Resubmerging in the water Linette made her way towards the sound; Every horror movie she had ever seen told her know, but she couldn't help it. "I'm probably the strangest thing anyone would see in these woods anyway" she giggled to her self.
Slowly creeping up on the bank of the river Linette poked her head out of the water just so her eyes were no longer submerged. All she could make out in the gave was a small light which had dissipated after a brief moment. It seemed that Linette wasn't the only one intrigued by the sound. She could make out a dark figure moving about in the foliage; slowly making its way toward the cave.

Gram had no idea why he'd allowed himself to be talked into this. His party was walking through the wilderness of Russia, hunting a tiger. The blonde to his left was chatting up a storm about all she knew about Russia's wilderness and hunting tigers. Of course, she'd never actually hunted one before, but that was what made it fun, she claimed. Gram mostly ignored her, attempting to pay attention to his surroundings and not lose track of their guide.
The man guiding them was a middle aged fellow, grizzled from harsh experiences with sideburns running nearly the full length of his jaw with unkempt gray hair. His name was Quintin Shaw and he was the best, or so Gram had heard. The man certainly seemed to know what he was doing.
They'd stopped for a brief break so Michelle, the blonde, could catch her breath and go to the bathroom. While they were waiting, Gram looked over the equipment he'd brought with him, wondering once again why he'd agreed to come out here. Michelle was clearly crazy, but he'd been so bored at the time that it had seemed like a better idea than sitting around doing what he usually did.
Both of their heads snapped up when they heard screaming. It was Michelle. Quintin prepared the rifle he'd brought and ran off to help her. The screaming stopped, a gunshot fired, Quintin screamed, and Gram started running.
Sometime and a lot of distance later, the young man was still running through the wilderness when he heard a large thump from a nearby cave and a brief flash of light. Light meant people and more people increased his chances of surviving. Gram ran into the cave, shouting help before doing so, hoping the occupants were friendly.

*I smell two.*
Apollo lifted his head from Bayla's side arm to pay more attention to her. He was sitting down next to her and enjoying his small breaths of tobacco, but Bayla's constant sniffing had disrupted his 'high time.'
"Wha-" *Speak with your mind boy! We are being watched,* Bayla interrupted. Apollo and Bayla had a special telepathic connection that allowed them to speak while not speaking at all. Thoughts could be transferred from mind to mind between the two, making any private thought not possible, but no one but them could hear what they said to each other.
*I smell two beings near us. One hiding among the forest, the other near the river. I could barely smell that one, thank the heavens they emerged.* Bayla didn't stop from there, she began sniffing vigorously in a different direction, growing more agitated by what she found. *Bayla,* Apollo thought, *What else do you smell?*
The dragon tried to hold back her growl as she told him, her claws slowly scratching the ground from the sudden rise of excitement. *I smell... Blood, and a human who was once with them coming our way.*
Apollo pressed the lit cigarette to the ground as he silently rose from his seat near Bayla. *Don't make a sound, don't even let anyone here you breath.* He then stealthily glided around Bayla to the other side, moving to the cave entrance and resting in the darkest area. On the left side of the cave the moon did not shine, so there was more darkness to cover Apollo. No one could see him from within the shadows, especially since he had on all black clothing, but he could see anyone either.
*Bayla,* he thought to his dragon, *where are they?* Suddenly, her voice inside Apollo's brain grew large as she thought to him. *HE IS HERE!* Apollo steadied himself as a boy came running into the cave carelessly, screaming for help.
Apollo said or did nothing, but made plans of stopping the boy before he ran into Bayla. This involved quickly coming from the shadows while the boy ran passed him, then grabbing the boy by the shoulders and shoving him to the darkness. The boy would put up a struggle at first, but Apollo would try to hold him back as he silently whispered something. "I am a friend, I am a friend! Trust me I am a friend!"
Where the boy would be was in the shadows, where Apollo would not be able to see his face. The boy would not see Apollo's face either since they were in the cave. The only thing that would give the two a sense of familiarity would be the sound of their voice. Bayla would also be hidden within the darkness, but her glowing eyes would be completely visible. Her eyes would be far in height, too tall for the boy to even hope to reach. Bayla's sounds would be large snuffles of a beast not made for this world. As her want to kill grew, she would begin drooling acid from her mouth, which would fall near the two and make sizzle sounds as it touched the ground.

The Weretiger was still aware of her of the things around her as she continued to gaze in the direction of the cave. There was another strange noise though, one of something coming up from the water. If her hearing was not so good she wouldn't have noticed. Pandora glanced towards the direction of the noise and seen someone there who also looked aware of her presence as well. Pandora wasn't sure how well she could see, but would rather not take chances. She made sure she was well hidden behind the trees before shifting herself into her human form. It was possible that every one of these newcomers were here for the tiger, so it was best not to bring attention to herself.
As soon as she was done, there was a scream that sounded female, and a man ran past her a moment later heading straight into the cave. She couldn't make out anything else from her position. The person never came back out, and she didn't hear any noises coming from inside anymore. All it did was make her wonder more.

What ever was outside of the cave seemed to have noticed Linette as well. Linette continued to stare but couldnt make out what it was, whatever ot was moved behind a group of trees. Her hand rested upon the rapier on her belt; when a scream made its way through the forest making Linette wince at the high pitched sound.
The scream continued to echoe in Linette's ears; she turned to see where it had come from, but there was nothing visible other than bushes. Whoever had screamed scared away all of the small forest creatures.
Then out of no where someone bolted through the brush running past her screaming for help like a little girl. " Wait I know that voice" she thought, "What is he doing here though". Then again she didn't exactly know where here was. She would've gotten out to help but she didn't exactly have any clothes to change into.

When he was grabbed, Gram's first instinct was to fight. He struggled at first, but when the voice of the person who'd grabbed him spoke, he calmed down somewhat, face twisting with confusion. That voice, he recognized it belonging to some boy he'd met somewhere. Florida, maybe... Allen? No. Alex! That was probably it. Either way, he was done thinking about it.
"Alex?" Gram whispered. The young man nearly asked him what the hell was going on and what he was doing here but he stopped when he caught sight of the glowing eyes further back in the cave, far too large and... glowy, to belong to a person. Dragon! Gram's thoughts screamed to him, catching a whiff of the reptilian scent coming off of the beast and something acidic. He froze, eyes wide as saucer plates.
When it seemed it wasn't going to attack, Gram's eyes narrowed and he tried to turn around and look at Alex. "Let go of me!" He whispered, trying to regain some of his dignity.
When he was inevitably released, Gram would turn to look at Alex, crossing his arms over his chest. "Friend of yours?" He would ask. "I didn't know you were a draconian."

*Female* Bayla thought to Apollo as she stopped watching the two boys to look into the forest. Apollo stared at Bayla as Gram did, his face showing that of confusion.
*What?* Apollo thought to his dragon. She began sniffing the air over and over again, trying to get a good scent of something else. *Yes, the one close to us is female.* Apollo looked at her crazily. His attention was brought back to Nathaniel as the boy whispered in Apollo's ears. The draconian removed his grip, then he moved back into the shadows he was once in. *Well how do you know that she is fema-*
*VERY SENSITIVE NOSE APOLLO! You do the human math,* Bayla interrupted, causing Apollo to shiver. *Point me to her location, then. If she is enemy then I will handle her.* He thought these words to Bayla then turned to Nathaniel. "Listen uh- guy. We have two people in total near us. One of them is close while the other is in the water. One of us has to go out and see if the two are dangerous, or we could stay here and wait for them to come up with a plan to possibly kill us."
He tossed Nathaniel the pistol in his pants. "This is yours for now. Watch my back for anything that comes out and stay in the shadows. Oh, and one more thing. If I die," Apollo pointed towards Bayla," she will go on a rampage and kill everything and everyone in sight, starting with you. And I doubt that pistol will be enough to stop her."
Apollo winked at Nathaniel then stepped out from the cave. His eyes ran all around the forest as though he was searching for someone. "HEY, GIRL!" He would yell to his lungs height. "I HAVE SEEN YOU ALREADY AND KNOW YOU ARE FEMALE! I HAVE SEEN WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE, I KNOW YOUR GENDER, AND I KNOW YOUR SCENT" He then turned towards the near waters, just in case the other person was listening. "I HAVE TONS OF BULLETS AND A HUNTING DOG INSIDE! IF YOU DON'T COME OUT I WILL HUNT YOU!"
He paused for a little to give the two the chance to show themselves. If they said or did nothing, he would continue. "I don't want to hurt you, and I don't want you to hurt me! So please, show yourself!"
Meanwhile, in the cave, Bayla would be sniffing the air vigorously as though she was searching for something that couldn't be found. But what was she searching for?
The first thing Pandora did was move just a bit further into the forest, and pull out a pack she had placed there earlier in the day. It had a few sets of clothing for different weather conditions, along with other basics. She had spent about three weeks in the forest already. About as long as the start of the tiger attacks being reported. Pandora carefully pulled out some clothing including a light jacket and slipped it on. Next, she gave her attention back to the one in the water. Pandora headed that way to see exactly what they were doing, and if they were aggressive or not. She had gotten close enough to see that it was a female, and her lack of clothing before the one from the cave had started yelling about knowing what she smelled like. Pandora tossed the pack towards the female as sort of a kind gesture. It was very rare for her to act kind towards a stranger. She hoped she wouldn't regret it.
Once she made her way back to the cave entrance with her hands up. She walked slowly as if she had a gun to her. It was merely an act though. She was not afraid nor did she feel like she should be. She had no weapons on her and appeared completely harmless. "Why are you yelling? Are you trying to make the tiger angey?" She took a few steps closer. "I am not here to hurt you. Just calm down." She was now able to make out two males about her age, and some big pair of eyes behind them. She could only assume what it was and that was how the one man knew of her in the forest.

Linette first, heard then saw the strange approaching the river bank. It was a girl about her age with short dark hair; she didn't say anything but she was carrying a bag with her. Someone then began shouting from the cave about knowing someone was out here because he could smell them. "That's weird, I didn't know people could smell that well" she thought out loud. With a thud the girl dropped the bag she was carrying by the edge of the water and started walking towards the cave. Cautiously Linette open the bag and found clothes inside; "I guess people really don't mind lending clothes out to strangers" she shrugged and pulled a few article out of the bag.
With a quick glance to make sure no one was looking she transformed her tail into a pair of legs and waded out of the water into some bushes. With a flick of her finger Linette moved all the excess water on her skin back into the river. She didn't want to walk around in wet clothes. Putting the longed sleeve shirt and jeans on Linette sat down and pulled her tennis shoe s out her bag. She was now some what geared for the forest around her.
Following in suit of the mystery girl she made her way to the entrance of the cave to see exactly what the big commotion was about. as she drew closer she realized that it was Gram and Apollo " Hi guys" she said with a smile; "Do you know where I am?"

The young man watched Allen and the dragon closely as a few seconds passed. From what he gathered, they appeared to be communicating through their bond, though Gram had no idea what they might be talking about.
As Allen told Gram what he intended to do, the young man frowned slightly. Running around in the dark screaming didn't seem like the most intelligent of plans if one knew there were two possibly hostile individuals hiding somewhere, but Gram didn't particularly care if Allen intended to throw away his life. Or he didn't at first.
When he was informed that Allen's dragon would go on a murderous rampage following his demise, Gram's eyes widened and he glanced quickly at the dragon. The young man gritted his teeth, irritated that it was apparently in his best interests to keep Allen breathing. "Surely there's no need for such threats?" The young man protested nervously.
Eyes narrowing slightly, Gram did not appreciate being threatened and a few murderous thoughts went through his mind. Ultimately, he realized it would be easier to back the other young man up rather than kill his dragon, so that is what Gram decided to do. Besides, killing them both would mean he'd once more be stranded alone in the wilderness with a deadly predator hunting him.
Checking the weapon he'd been given, the young man made sure it was loaded and the safety was off. "I'm sure you'll be fine," Gram murmured at Allen's back as the young man started shouting. He watched the surrounding wilderness for threats, ready to save Allen's life if necessary.
A woman emerged, claiming she intended them no harm, followed by another who seemed lost. The first seemed rather confident and in control, despite the fact the dragon's eyes were visible to here. Gram didn't trust her for an instant. She didn't seem openly armed but his recent dealings with supernaturals had taught him that appearances could be deceiving and some people didn't need weapons to be dangerous.
Even worse was the girl professing to be lost. Gram assumed that she must be acting. After all, who ends up in the middle of the Russian wilderness and has no idea where they are? This night was only getting worse. He shifted his pack from his back, wanting to be able to move fast if he had to.

The first to show themselves was a female, hands up and white flag raised. "Why are you yelling? Are you trying to make the tiger angry?" Her first words to him. He raised his brow towards her, showing a look of confusion. Tiger? Apollo thought, going over her words inside his head.
She slowly moved towards him, making him guess whether she had a gun or was trying to be friendly. Was this going to be a test of will? He didn't take a step back to show her that he was not afraid of her, like she showed with him. When she gave a little more distance inbetween, Apollo moved his hand towards his back quickly. The way he did it, and the speed in which he did so would tell anyone that he was getting ready to pull out a weapon. In truth, he had nothing to hold. He was just moving his hand towards his back, this being showed clearly only towards Gram and Bayla.
"Stay there and don't move any further." Apollo said these words calmly, and as low of a tone as he needed to clearly speak to her and Linette. He remembered the blue haired girl, but he still didn't trust her. Just like Bayla, he did not trust anyone in this wilderness. For all he knew they all could be after him and his dragon. That is why he gave Gram a gun with only one bullet inside. If he wanted to kill them then he would only have the chance to kill one. Either Apollo or Bayla, which one he chose didn't matter, for he was still at risk of dying by one of them. Trust no one, yet trust everyone. Someone once told him that, but Apollo couldn't remember who or why he thought of it at that moment.
"I am coming over to check for weapons," Apollo told both of them. Whether they were willing to or not mattered none. He had the false weapon in his hand, and he had the man with a gun and the dragon on his side. They would do what he said or risk dying.
Apollo moved in slowly, walking around the two to make sure they did not see his back and turning towards Linette's back first, since she was behind Pandora. If he checked Pandora first then Linette had a chance to notice his bluff.
"Raise your hands slowly Linette," Apollo whispered into her ear gently from behind her. He had no plans on being rough with these two and tried to appear as friendly as possible. His reason for doing this seemed very unethical, and Apollo wouldn't blame any one of them if they protested, but his dragon smelling blood did not make him willing to take chances. He already took one with Gram, he was taking no more.
If she complied then Apollo would tap her side, checking her arms, side stomachs, and breast for any hidden weapon. "Sorry for that," he would apologize. "You can kill me later." Then he moved to her waste, thighs and legs. She would smell wet to his nose, like the sea had just spat her to land. Did she go out for a late night swim or was that her natural aroma?
When, or if he found nothing, Apollo would whisper into her ears once again, asking for her to move towards Gram and the cave. He would give her a gentle push as well if she did not move quick enough. Then he would turn towards the other one.
He moved in from behind her, and he would ask her the same thing he asked Linette, except without using Linette's name, the same way as well. If she agreed, Apollo would check her the same way he checked Linette, then apologize using the same words. If he found nothing, he would move towards the cave, revealing to everyone that the false gun was a bluff and that they were safe by showing them his unarmed back. "We have a problem," he would say to all of them then wait a response.
"Stay there and don't move any further." Those words from the male caused her to stop from her slow walking. Apparently the blue haired girl was behind her and doing the same. The difference was that they somehow knew each other. For a moment she regretted giving her clothes, and figured she was now surrounded by enemies. It did not seem like that was the case though. The male speaking and threatened that he had a gun, and that he would be checking both of them for weapons. He would not find anything on her body when he checked. First, he walked right past her to check blue girl, giving Pandora the chance to see a closer look at the other male and the big beast behind him. She could sense that the blonde male was suspicious of her, and he had every right to be. Teasing a bit, she gave him just a slight grin before her attentions went to the Dragon. "Beautiful. This is my first time seeing one in person." Pandora was sure it belonged to the dark haired male, because they were the first ones she seen in the cave together.
By the time she got a decent idea of her surroundings, the boy was done feeling up blue and moved to her. Her hands were still up and she made no move to stop him from touching her body. He had the same apologies for her as he did with Linette.
After finding nothing, he confessed that the gun was a bluff. "I'm pretty sure you had a gun on me when you were feeling me up." She glanced down between his legs with a smirk.
Apollo stated that "we" have a problem. "I don't have a problem, but you might. Have you all come here to hunt the tiger that's in this forest?"
