1. I just signed up and made a new character, and wanted to know, how long does it usually take for the character to be approved? I'm only asking because I want to make another character as well. (:
We're usually pretty quick about it. In fact, yours has been replied to already.
2. If I wanted a compendium, do I have to buy it? Or can I add it to my character thread right away? O.o One: Because if I can just add it, I'll edit my character thread and put them in there. And two: Because... I think I fell in love with the color spray. (Maybe because I love bright colors..haha!) And I fell in love with the haunting vision. I really need to stop reading while I make a post.
I think you misunderstand the Compendium. It's simply a list of abilities you may acquire, not something you can actually gain, though.
Okay...so there is more.
3. How exactly do you get 'money' in order to buy more? I think it's from posting, but I'm unsure. :/
And that's it! Thanks!
Yes, posting is how you gain more power to spend on abilities. Unless you attract positive attention from a Deity so greatly that they distribute extra power to you, that is the only way, really.

You're wrong. Very wrong. What you think of me is only a ghost of time. I am dangerous. And I will show you just how dark I can be." -Harley Quinnzel

Hi I have a few questions (about 3) I want to make a new shapeshifter character and I was wondering
1. Does the person/thing need to be someone or something you've seen before. Can you have read a book or a person described someone to you in so much detail that you can shapeshift into them.
2.Can you make another of your own characters meet your other characters. Can they be related.
3.Can shapeshifting be triggered by emotions. Thanks in Advance!

1. Book would be acceptable. Hearsay, I'm going to go with no. At least for now.
2. Your characters cannot meet but they can be related.
3. You can pretend yours is. It's not mandatory and isn't designed that way, but if you want your character's Shapeshift ability to automatically occur when certain things are experienced, feel free.

This question has came up in other forms but not in a way that makes me feel comfortable assuming the answer is the same.
For prayer spells does your character have to have met/been blessed/had interaction with a God to be able to use them or can simple followers of a God use them i.e. any supernatural creature that informally follows a God. For example; if you were a demon and you loved a good old bit of chaos and revered Sol but had never met the God or went to a Sol temple or gathering could you still use a prayer spell in his name like Hysteria?

Thanks Craig but now I have another question. Are the whereabouts of the Holy Cities of the Elementals known to other kinds? I know Atlantis is impossible to get too but would one who is not an Elemental know that say Paris is the Holy City of the Light Elementals or are these things a guarded secret?

I have a few questions before I make a character 1. How long do Reapers live exactly? and 2. When you say Reapers feed off the dead do you mean the consumption of corpses or something like eating spirits?

Though a blabber-mouthed Elemental character might slip something, they're supposed to be guarded secrets.

1. Ages of new characters are not to surpass 500 years of age.
2. Consumption of corpses. Typically, I've seen the sucking of marrow to be how it is performed in roleplay. They don't eat spirits.
Good questions.

I have two questions, probably ones that others have asked and had answered or I neglected to look hard enough for answers to so I apologize if my questions are redundant.
1. The werebeast race has the innate ability to transform into a particular kind of werebeast such a werewolf or a werebear. It says in the race description that when in danger or in an adrenaline rush they will transform into the beast they were blessed as. My question is: after this point is the transformation at will and can the transformation, if it is at will, be limited to certain limbs such as an arm?
2. I may have not looked hard enough for this answer. With Phasing is it possible to defend oneself from harm by using the ability to simply make blows, strikes, bullets, etc. go through their body?
1.) Can a fae character touch iron alloys? If so, what are the effects? Does it burn less than straight iron?
2.) If there’s a layer of, say cloth, between a fae characters skin and the iron, would that lessen the burn damage?
3.) If a fae were to be in something like a train or a car, where they weren’t actually touching anything iron, what would happen to the character? Would they get sick? Burst into one giant massive fae crisp?

Now, I’m looking into building my character, but choosing a species is proving difficult, primarily because I believe a human/human hunter, might be along the kind of being I like (because I mostly like using a vast array of technologies), but at the same time, I don’t want to cut my character off from being able to collect supernatural abilities (such as pyromania, electricity, invisibility, etc.) at any point in the future. On the other hand, collecting human skills is also pretty attractive, so if I chose a supernatural, would I be cutting myself off from using a variety of machines to accomplish my work? Is my understanding of powers correct at this point? What species would you recommend so that I might be able to encompass the most of what I am looking for?

Well, of course, everyone has their preferences so it will all be up to you on which species you choose. But as for your question- Supernatural species can use technology but are more limited. They must use weapons that are already invented, and need a reason as to how they came across such a machine if it is something powerful, advanced, or rare.
For example a supernatural can have a gun and need no explanation, because those are very common place things now. Or a car is just as common. But if you want something like a submarine you would need a very good reason as to how you managed to get such a thing.
Humans/hunters whom purchase the machinery traits can bypass things like this simply because they can build it themselves. They can go make their own custom machines, as long as it is not too overpowered, and they still need flaws- like all machines have.
Or, if you want to be able to access both, you could try a Draconian. The dragons can have access to supernatural abilities while their human riders can have access to human skills. Due to their ability to collect both it is a slightly increased price. Angel Hunters are the same, but that is a special tier that only one may possess and s currently taken.
I hope I provided some help. If you have any more questions you can leave them here or send me a PM.
