So, it was on my mind for a while (even before I joined this site!) and thought I'd bring it up to ya and see what you think. (:
I was thinking, maybe an ability that allowed the person (covered in, or even has just one tattoo) to make their tattoos come to life per-say. For instance:
(This is just thrown out there, not really thinking fully for detail.)
Level One- Shadows. Allows the tattooist to shift (the most up to 3) their tattoos off of them and they can go through things, like shadows. The maximum time for it however would be up to a half an hour, seeing that all they can do is go through things.
Level Two- Almost Flesh (Couldn't think of a better way to describe it.). It allows the 'shadow' tattoos to become flesh for a certain about of time, depending on how many tattoos are off. 1 tattoo-half an hour, 2-25 minutes, 3-20 minutes, yada yada. However, the most tattoos allowed off is 4. And if the amount of time is going past, the tattoos become permanently off and deissolve (die).
Level Three- Humanoid. The most tattoos is 5 and the amount of time is...oh I don't know, a day? At this level, the tattoos become actual things (creatures, people, yada yada) and after a certain amount of time will slide back over the tattooist. If the tattoo can't get back onto the tattooist after a certain amount of time, the tattoo dissolves if the tattooist isn't concentrating on keeping it alive, which will drain them of energy.
I feel like I'm missing stuff for description and points, but let me know what you think of it so far, and if it's good, I'll think of better ways to describe it.
