Joshua, or perhaps Sarah
theme song:;
Sweet Dreams (Are made of This)
by Emily Browningdescription:;
Joshua doesn't care much about names, and he never has. As a sort of joke that he shares with himself, he prefers his name (whatever it may be) to be biblical in origin, just for fun. However, in demon form he's fond of the name Sarah.
Sarah is female and blue, a fact she rather takes pride in. As the entirety of Sarah's (and Joshua's, of course) being is dedicated to screwing with people, upon sculpting a form that would be presented to the human population in place of her demon form, Sarah chose to switch genders. Just to bug anybody who knew her as both. When asked whether female or male, she'd probably just smile. And besides, she likes being able to switch between gender pronouns, a feat most could not claim.
Sarah regards herself as being rather pretty, with sooty, smooth blue-grey skin and a hot, curvaceous bod. She has long, thick blackish horns that curve out of the top-front of her head right on that spot where a normal person might put their sunglasses. Her long hair flows, black and unruly, down to mid-back. She has a thin, pretty frame and long claws that seem to glitter in an attractive lava-sort of way. All along the slopes of her body lie swirling runes of the same mesmerizing orange, and her eyes, generally smirking or proclaiming her remarkable insanity, shine a brilliant, devastating blue. Though not precisely winged as other demons (as her wings had withered and fallen off long ago) Sarah nonetheless retains the ability to fly, perhaps out of sheer will. She stands at a petite 7 feet, 3 inches.
After her transformation, Sarah looses a full foot of height to become the measly 6'3, 180-lb human form that she favors. This form is affectionately called Joshua, and is, rightly so, male.
Joshua is an average joe in comparison to Sarah's splendor, but he's good enough. With average-colored skin, Caucasian and neither memorably tanned nor pale, and short mouse-brown hair, he doesn't much stick out. His eyes retain the harsh blue of his otherworldly form, but not to worry --they don't glow or anything. He dresses in whatever he has at hand, not caring in the least about fashion or image. The only common element to his day-to-day dress code is his hungry, creeping grin, which he uses to unsettle as many people as possible, much to his delight and their dismay. The only notable aspect of his being a stranger might point out is his undying quest to devour everything meat; and he takes his steak rare, thank you.

Joshua carries a black'n silver Colt M1911A1, which he took a fancy to because of the movie The Punisher, which greatly appealed to his nature. Nevermind that he's a terrible shot, that's half the fun. Besides that, just a pocket knife, maybe 5 inches long and moderately sharp.
whatcha~wearin?:;
As mentioned, whatever he can lay his hands on. Generally he wears enough to be publicly decent. Generally.
transportation:;
What would he want with one of those? If he has to go someplace he'll walk, ride some sort of public transportation --the more people around, the merrier!-- or, on occasion, go for a plane ride and hop to the next country. Whatever seems quickest.

Nope. Nada. Not that sort of guy. Maybe something he took from someone. Some poor kid's doll just to see her cry, something like that.

background:;
Joshua's always been searching. Just one of those things. Maybe for answers, maybe not. Maybe just for something to do, and always to somehow disconcert other people to some degree, big or small. Hopefully big.
There's a lot he doesn't know about himself. Like if he's a natural monster. He doesn't know if it's possible to be turned from a human to a demon, but if it is that's probably what happened to him. Because if a person could be turned into a vampyre, why not into demon as well? Not that he doesn't like being a demon. Not like he wants to be a human. God, no. Ugh. Though that would be a whole new level of suffering, which honestly might liven things up a little. Things were generally so boring. Even when something crazy was happening. Just, wake me up when something good happens, right? And he barely got to be Sarah anymore, because of all the hordes of normal people about who would scream and call the cops and point guns. And not that a little capture and scientific experimentation wouldn't be welcome, but if death followed shortly after what was the point in it all? Humans always took things too serious. So what if there's a demon about? You can do all the painful tests you want, but when you get out the injections and hope for extinction it's like, chill out. Jesus.
But anyway. It wasn't like he could remember when he'd been born. He didn't even know how old he was. Okay, well. Joshua was about twenty-five now, but he had no idea how old Sarah was. A hundred years? A thousand? And did it even matter? He didn't pay attention to such things. Some demons --or other sorts of supernatural creepy-crawlies-- liked to boast about how old they were, like that was some sort of trophy. Why would a crawly wanna be old? Meant they didn't live too good of a life, you know? Meant they probably sat at home and watched Titanic for a couple years, though he wasn't saying that that was a bad movie. Actually, it was a great movie. All the people splashing around, and then when they went all still and stiff and frozen like little meatscicles bobbing in the ocean. That'd been great. But still. It wasn't like it was a demon's top priority to sit and watch the same movie over and over. Eventually you had to find something else to do.
Joshua was always trying to find something else to do.
