Tyr gritted his teeth, attempting to brace himself in his chair after the first crash. Through the grimace on his face, the eager look in his eyes was clear, and his booming laughter carried throughout the ship as it rocked back and forth. IN the moments of the brief attack, Tyr had forgotten all about the girl. She was of no consequence, at the moment. Unless she could prove herself useful in battling a massive sea serpent rumored to be larger than most dragons.
Moving with startling alacrity, Tyr jumped up from his seat and raced outside, shouting back behind himself "Do your thing!" Not waiting for a second rocking up the ship, Tyr launched himself into the air, pushing with all of his might to gain altitude as fast as he possibly could. Once he reached an altitude of roughly one thousand feet, Tyr paused and surveyed the area below him, the shadow of the massive beast that was attacking the ship clear against the lighter blue of the surrounding ocean.
Tyr gasped slightly at the sight of the thing, adrenaline pumping through him, the thumping of his large wings beating rhythmically. Mastering himself, Tyr pulled on a large piece of the ferry with his powers, jerking free a large piece of unimportant metal which he then elongated into a massive harpoon fit for this hunt. It hovered next to him as he eyed waters, waiting to strike.

“There- there’s something…massive under the ship.”
The words he’d been looking for. The fun times were here. Dex grinned turning his head this way and that to get a better angle trying to spot the serpent through the window.
“Get down!”
Dex dropped his hammer and grabbed two railings as the boat shook once more. He stood fast and managed to get a good glimpse of the gigantic tail. When the boat stopped rocking he looked around to see Tyr was gone. He hadn’t seen him go but then again he’d been more intent on the beast. He scooped down to grab his warhammer and rushed out of the door turning at the last second to say briefly and simply to the human. “Good hunting!” before disappearing out of the door.
Once out he took off in a similar manner to Tyr except he flew out away to the side climbing horizontally. He spotted Tyr in the distance arming himself with a piece of scrap cum harpoon.
The Serpent was little more than a black splodge by the time he got there. It was diving under and under. The cold waters were not as clear as their Caribbean counterparts making it somewhat difficult to see the creature. It was coming about though, still completely submerged, and began to ascend a little evidenced by a clearer black shaped on the long, gargantuan sea serpent. Still submerged it raced forward toward the ship. Whether its plans were to curl around the ship as it was known for or do what it had done the first time was not known to Dex.
Dex flexed his warhammer in hand. He was waiting for his opportunity. He couldn’t do much just now. He wanted to keep an asteroid shower for emergencies only and, at the same time, he wasn’t so sure if creating an earthquake here would create much of a tsunami.

This was madness. A few hours ago Rae had been stowing away on a cruise liner in order to get to Norway; it was supposed to be a simple breaking of the law in order to pass into the Norwegian boarders and find out what she could about the European Supernatural populous there. It wasn’t supposed to be a fight or an adventure, but a simple recon mission to satisfy her curiosity. Finally, Rae understood the allegory about the cat; only cat’s had nine lives and Rae didn’t; and she was damned if she had any intention of losing her only life here on this damned boat in the middle of the damned sea, with the damned daemons. No pun intended.
She cowered under the lip of the control panel desk as the two daemons simultaneously flew out of the windows. Good to know they could fly. She should’ve worked it out really, with the wings and all, but it would’ve been something you’d thing was mentioned previously. If they could fly, why bother with a boat in the first place? And for god’s sakes, if they were hunting down a creature that was twice the size of a football field why the hell would you terrorise a curise liner- wouldn’t a naval boat have been the better option? Something with guns and missiles?
Guns and missles…
It stuck Rae with an idea. Clearly, keeping the boat afloat was being left to her, and as the creature bashed into the side once more, Rae was thrown further across the shiny floor of the captains offices. As she righted herself she saw the terrifying tail end of the beast rise out of the sea; it appeared to be repeating it’s motions, flicking itself into the underbelly of the boat on either side with vicious ferocity. What was it trying to do? Flip them?
That thought paraliysed Rae momentarily. While she could swim, and as a child had been a strong swimmer, an incident in school wherein she nearly drowned had made her terrified of open bodies of water. She swallowed on a dry throat and watched as the tail disappeared back into the water; waiting for it’s return and another violent shove on the boat. If they capsized…she was as good as dead.
Morbidly she wondered if it would eat her; but quickly pushed the through from her mind as she scrabbled back to her feet and to the control panel. Ships were logged into satellites. Satellites were all connected; here on the boarders of Sweden and Norway she was sure she could log into some sort of military Intel; guns and missiles they needed, guns and missiles she would get – it would be easy to triangulate them; she already had the ships co-ordinates. A glimmer of warm hope travelled up her spine....

Tyr squinted his eyes, wings beating steadily to maintain his altitude as his large metal spear hung motionlessly in the air, poised for launch at a moments notice. He caught a glimpse of the beast's shadow beneath the ocean surf and whooped in delight as he sent the scrap crafted harpoon shooting for the beast fast enough that one could have sworn he had instead shot a rifle at the thing. The spear missed the majority of the beast and instead dived for deeper depths. Too slow to recall his weapon, Tyr groaned and tore more metal from the boat; satellite, staplers, radios, cell phones, even some fillings from the molars of one corpse. Pretty much whatever he thought could be spared. After putting them together, this new weapon hung closer to the water. From such a short distance, the beast had no chance of dodging yet another blow. This would end soon at such a rate, Tyr predicted. After all, what beast could withstand the determined efforts of one such as himself?

Dex knew this Hunt would be good. It reminded him of days gone past where he and his brother would hunt the so-called mythical creatures to the ends of the earth and back. Those were the days. Though this creature was definitely the largest one he'd ever had the pleasure to fight.
It was diving again. Dex didn't know why it was diving down so close to the ship. Such a creature clearly could not have seen or sensed the small harpoon shaped hunk of metal launched it's way.
“I'm gonna part the seas, Tyr, hit it with as much as you got!” Dex cried as he tipped himself vertically curling his wings around himself he shot forward and down like a bullet. About ten foot off the ground his wings uncurled and beat steadily allowing him to hover essentially.
Flame. The water sizzled in front of him. Great big bellows of steam rose before him (he was of course a good enough distance not to be skinned alive). The water parted all the way down to the beast's back. It was long enough that if Tyr fired his harpoon in the next minute or two as it passed by he would hit it. He rather hoped Tyr took the ill-communicated opportunity.

Rae's eyes momentarily followed the strands of scrap metal as they tore off the boat with a deafening screech and bonded into some ugly misshapen weapon. The wind rushed around her now, the scent of the sea filling her nose and battering her skin- or perhaps her fear in the situation was making her paranoid? Rae huddled over the ships computer further; at least he had the courtesy to leave her that much as he tore the boat to pieces. Seriously, with friends like these who needed giant sea-serpents for enemies.
She could hear them both shouting to each other and there was a part of her that was glad she was stuck on this ship with them; granted the other option available to her was death but more importantly she could not imagine any other creature of the supernatural doing this as well, or as easily, as they were. In her mind she gave them props, and she hoped it would be the only time she looked upon the daemons with something other than distain in her eyes.
Rae turned back to the computer; she was a quick worker, good at what she knew. Her uncle had taught her how to hack into systems; he had encouraged her to break into all sorts of security data-bases, from the FBI and the CIA to other more secure networks. She knew, deep down, that if she had not been as apt at computers as she was now, then he would not have taken such a sick and rotten liking to her as he did. Her fingers tapped furiously over the keyboard and her eyes remained glued to the screen; the green letters illuminating as she dove deeper into the Swedish defence systems. This would be easier, of course, if she understood any of the Swedish there. Rae was not good with languages, she was having to transform each of the platforms she logged onto into English before she could bypass them further; it was taking her longer than necessary.
Eli, at her feet, whimpered and whines again and she hushed him quickly. “Be still, little one.” She told him, as she coded a detonation missile for their location. She had found an anti-submarine missile on a boat just of the coast of Norway, a torpedo with a homing device designed to destroy submerged submarines. It used SONAR to co-ordinate its proximity and as she plugged in their co-ordinates to the data-map, Rae breathed something of a sigh. It was only a small missile, but it would weaken the creature, perhaps even kill it based on how and when it hit.
Her work done, she killed the engines of the boat, slunk back under the desk and hid a little longer, curling the dog into her body as she watched the water dancing up the side of the boat. Rae, despite all the excitement, felt a tad sick.

Tyr's makeshift harpoon struck and he grinned. The weapon had hit the beast no where vital, but had hurt it, and likely pissed it off. He could almost taste victory, imagining himself standing on the great corpse, victorious.
Bellowing out in challenge, Tyr's skin began to burn red as he went into a rage, hungry for carnage. He was grateful to Dex for parting the water, he admittedly had probably had little chance of hitting it otherwise. The hybrid's wings beat powerfully to sustain his altitude as he hovered in the air, contemplating his next move through the red haze in his vision.
Almost ponderously, Tyr sent waves of agony through his harpoon by making it twist and burrow further into the creature, growing white hot as it did so and sending the odd electrical pulse going out through it. The jormungandr thrashed, giving out some cry of agony as Tyr ripped larger and larger pieces from the boat which was beginning to capsize from the agonized struggles of the great serpent. He was unaware of the missile launched, and so took little notice as the struggles of the serpent and the powerful magnetic fields and currents he controlled deflected and detonated it somewhat harmlessly.
Again and again, he thrust more metal into the beast, having them worm their way into it. Dex, he knew, would likely be fine, despite the sinking boat. Rae... he gave a mental shrug and strove to hold the thing above the water, giving only a small portion of his attention to it.
Tyr began to target and splinter the creature's bones. Probably not the best thing to do, as every movement now hurt it and the thing was becoming crazed with pain and fear.
Gritting his teeth, for Tyr could feel a weariness beginning to set in his bones. He was growing tired and when his rage wore off, he would likely be exhausted. He needed to finish this.
By now, the ocean was a frothing mess from the serpent's struggles. The small effort he had been putting into protecting what was left of the boat was starting to become draining.
Landing on to what was left of the boat, Tyr leaned against a wall and closed his eyes, focusing. The metal he had worked into the beast began forming into small metal orbs, roughly the size of Tyr's head, and they worked their way into the center of the serpent's body.
Tyr sighed. He had but to snap his fingers and the beast would explode, and likely be torn in half. But it would take all of his remaining energy. The hybrid doubted it would leave him with enough left in the tank to return him home where his father's walls and armies could shelter him until he recovered.
