((outfit: www.flickr.com/photos/64434410@N06/6933808145/in/photostream/lightbox/ )) It was a wonderful day to take a stroll and admire the scenery that surrounded herself. The birds though so too, the colorful little animals filled the sky. Minttu took a sigh and looked up at an endless clear sky, the only clouds that rested themselves in the blue protected the tops of the mountains that were a great length away. It was the type of day when things seemed bright and crisp, completely incapable of not being appealing to the eye. The trees were beginning to look more lively now with the ending of winter. Everything was positively gorgeous, some trees had budding flowers on them, this was something Minttu loved to see and had excitement for when they bloomed.
In the distance Minttu spotted a large flower field full of a variety of colors and types. A smile grew on her face at this finding, this would be a lovely place to meditate for the next hour to begin a peaceful day. Maybe she would read the book that was placed in the shoulder bag that hung across her left shoulder. Something that Minttu did not mind at all was alone time, she could be a very quiet person but rarely timid.
The flower field came closer into view and Minttu was very impressed with its features. It made her happy that stunning places such as this one were still so easy to find despite the hostility of man and their destroying of nature. Almost instantly Minttu noticed a figure standing by herself in the beauty, this wasn’t that surprising to her on account of the spots good energy and eye attracting attributes. She wasn’t exactly sure if she should just make her spot in her own company or introduce herself to the girl. Minttu began taking walking again, now only a few short yards away from the flow field.
Chaos sighed, her hands digging deeper into her pockets. She was so very tired. Her family was really starting to get on her last nerves. They wanted her to come back and repent. Apologize. She scoffed. She would never. After all the time and precious things and people she had sacrificed for them. It had still not been enough. And after...no she would never go back.
Chaos took another deep breath. She wasn't supposed to be thinking about them. She came out here so she wouldn't have to. She came out here to escape. Forest, big ones like these, were easy to get lost in. And when you're lost, no one can find you. Chaos didn't want to be found. She leaned back against the trees and closed her eyes. The sun shined on her face and she let a small smile grace her lips. She felt like never leaving.
She heard a twig snap under someones foot and her eyes snapped open. She turned her head to the side. Green hair. The girl had green hair. Chaos felt the corner of her mouth quirk up. The girl, who definitely wasn't human, was very small. Hardly a threat.
"Who are you?" There was no hostility. Chaos's voice was indifferent. She was tired of dealing with people.

Watching the girl for a split second more, Minttu decided to take a few steps closer still deciding on what she would do. Minttu wasn’t the timid nor outgoing type, she was very neutral when it came to introducing herself to new people or making new acquaintances. She noticed her footsteps had been a bit more heavy than she would of wished when the figure turned around.
Growing up around Fae’s and Angel’s Minttu was almost instantly able to predict the girl’s race to be an Angel, human like creatures with large gorgeous wings. Her wings were the first physical characteristic Minttu noticed, they were so dark. Secondly she looked at the Angel’s eyes, they were blue like her own but even more stunning even though there was a tired look to them. Minttu decided she found the girl beautiful.
Almost caught of guard by the monotone question, Minttu was the slightest bit hesitant with her reply. “I’m Minttu,.” she offered a sincere smile to the girl hoping that she wasn’t any danger. "Who are you?"

The Fae came closer and Chaos felt her muscles tense. She forced herself to relax though. This girl was too small to do much damage. Then again, underestimating people often lead to death. The girl showed no hostility though, so Chaos let her proceed.
The Fae had blue eyes much like her own except more innocent. Sheltered even. Her short hair, upon closer inspection, was a range of various lighter blues and darker greens. There wasn't a distinct dominate color. Wings. Her wings were small compared to Chaos's and they were transparent yet shimmering in blues and greens. They looked as if they were gossamer. She looked so fragile.
The Fae, Minttu, offered her a small smile. She was hesitant. Chaos shook her head. This girl....there was just something about her. She was very petite. It gave Chaos a strange feeling. It reminded her of herself when she was younger. When she was less jaded. This girl couldn't be more than eighteen, if even that.
"Chaos" She said speaking with a bit more feeling in her voice. Not much though, for she was still very upset. "I'm not trespassing or anything am I?" Chaos asked standing straighter, getting ready to leave.

Minttu noticed the Angel tense a bit but relax after a few seconds, she assumed she had realized how non-intimidating she looked. She suspected that this girl was annoyed with her and almost felt bad she had interrupted her alone time, she obviously didn’t seem to over joyed at the thought of company. Minttu considered leaving and finding a different place to rest, she didn’t like the idea of intruding in someone’s space and taking it.
“Nice to meet you.” Chaos, an interesting name Minttu thought, did this girl fit her name? Minttu chuckled, she couldn’t tell if the Angel was being sarcastic or not. “Not at all, I was just about to ask the same thing. Sorry for interrupting.”

Chaos paused and her wings came back down. She turned to look at Minttu with a raised eyebrow. 'Nice to meet you?' Who was really nice enough to care? This girl.....was the epitome of innocence. Chaos wondered how deep that really ran. No one could still be this innocent. She turned fully around deciding to give the Fae just a bit ore of her time. Not like she had anywhere to be.
"I'm fine. And you?" Chaos said, amusing the girl's kindness. She wasn't sure why, but she was curious about her. "What are you doing here all by yourself? Do you even know where this is? You're very small and you look very unarmed. How well can you protect yourself?" Chaos questioned her.
Chaos wasn't quite sure why she was so concerned about how well this girl could take care of herself. She wasn't any of Chaos's business. She didn't even know her. Yet, she was curious. A person didn't come into the wood totally unarmed. So this girl was either packing more heat than she looked, or she was really naive enough to not know to bring a weapon of some kind into the woods. She wasn't sure what to make of the girl.

Minttu didn’t like the way the Angel stared at her, she could tell she was being underestimated. This wasn’t something new to Minttu, she was commonly seen as week or sheltered because of her physical appearance. Minttu didn’t think Chaos looked to intimidating ether, there was a dark tone to her but nothing to intimidating. She felt like this girl wasn’t as antisocial as she was going for.
She hadn’t asked how Chaos was but went with it anyway, “I’m alright.” Minttu’s tone was very casual, “just taking a stroll I guess… I’m not to worried about this area to be honest.” Almost everything was visible in the large flower field, Minttu was sure she’d know the presence of someone well before they attempted an attack on her. “I actually wasn’t expecting to see anyone else out here actually.”Minttu’s fighting skills were not bad but not amazing, her strength was her quickness. Being so small it came easier to her than most to avoid blows. “Appearances often mislead.” Minttu smiled. “What brings you out here?”
Minttu hadn’t come into the forest unarmed, she had brought a knife but it was in her bag. Leaving it in her purse probably wasn’t the best choice but she wasn’t very concerned with the possibility of being attacked and predicted she’d be able to get it out in time if a situation like that did come to her. Chaos did not look to much like the fighting type but Minttu could tell there was something about her that suggested she may be, it was the way she held herself and the attitude in her voice. Minttu hoped that she may be able to get to know the girl better.

The Fae said she wasn't worried about being alone out here. She said it with too much confidence and simply that Chaos could guess she had brought something to protect herself with. It was just concealed. Chaos wondered if she came out here a lot. She seemed familiar enough with the place. Unlike Chaos who was just looking for an escape. Minttu seemed to actually just purely enjoy nature. That was a nice quality to have, an appreciation of nature. She wondered if it was because of the girl's race or just her own personality.
Chaos shrugged. "Just needed to get lost, I guess. When you're lost, its harder for others to find you." She replied thinking if the Archangels.
She was tired of them. They would chase her, she would run. She wasn't scared of them. She was annoyed. She didn't like them. She wasn't going back and they just couldn't accept that. Their denial was her problem. She usually hid in large cities. Places crawling with people. However, when she really needed to relax and just escape from reality, the woods were the. No human interaction and just a scenery that looked like ti was pulled from a book. Almost too serene to be real.

This part of the woods was not completely familiar to Minttu but she had a good idea of where she was. She predicted the closest city to be a few miles west from where they were and made a mental note to remember that for later. Chaos looked unarmed as well, Minttu almost asked if she was but decided against it thinking it might be taken wrongly if she did.
“Disapearing definitely has its advantages.” Minttu said wondering who or what Chaos was avoiding. “It’s a nice day to get away, perfect backdrop for silence.” Minttu was referring to the weather, it really was a gorgeous day. The sun was high in a clear sky and left a crisp look to the scenery.
“I guess in a way I’ve come to get away from everything too.” the small Fae continued as she began to slip her bag off and cross her legs, bending down to sit landing in the ‘criss cross apple sauce’ position. City life was not something she favored, everything was to busy for her there, nature was her escape. “Care to join me for a little?” she offered a smile to Chaos.

Minttu spoke about disappearing and Chaos stared. This girl looked like she had no reason for disappearing. She looked like a nice girl, probably had friends, a nice family. Why would she want to be alone? Despite how Chaos acted she hated being alone. Her life revolved around solitude because she had been isolated from everyone as a child. No one wanted to hang out with Chaos. Just Scarlett. Perfect Scarlett. No one wanted anything to do with Chaos. She grew up alone and she figured she would die alone.
The angel was brought out of her thoughts as the Minttu sat down patting the spot next to her. She asked Chaos to join her. Chaos was momentarily stunned. No one wanted to do anything with her. She lived alone, in a busy city, and her best friend was a cat named Callisto. As amazing as Cal was, she left no room for social talk. Chaos didn't know how to be social, just suspicious and hostile. She forced herself to sit down anyways.
"I'm not a social person. I don't know how to be 'friendly' anymore." Not after Giovanni, Chaos thought silently. Her eyes were sad, but she pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind as she looked back at the Fae. She had to have hidden motives. No one ever wanted to just talk to strangers for no specific reason. Unless this girl really was a lot more stupid then she came off. Talking to strangers in the woods was dangerous. "What do you want from me?"

Minttu couldn’t tell if the looks she was receiving were ether judgment or curiosity at first, she decided it was a mixture of the two. She watched Chaos noticing something clouding her eyes, she worried she may of touched a nerve or brought up some negative thoughts. Chaos seemed bothered when Minttu had asked her to sit down with her, this worried her a bit, she didn’t want her to feel forced to join her.
Minttu had grown up in a sheltered environment, mostly alone with her studies. Being in solitude was nothing she was against, in a way she enjoyed it. Like Chaos Minttu had been isolated, but in a different way. Growing up with strict parents Minttu only knew of her own kind and Angel’s, she had only heard stories about other races.
She watched Chaos sit down almost surprised that she did, she had looked caught off guard when Minttu offered for her to join her. A small frown crossed Minttu’s face when Chaos told her she no longer knew how to be friendly, she knew something must of happened to the girl recently and that was why she was seeking alone time in the forest. Minttu wondered if maybe she’d be able to help Chaos by talking about the issues but knew she did not know her and it would be odd if she asked what was the matter.
“Just company, I guess. I’m new to the area, I have yet to make many acquaintances..” she said almost not sure of what to say, “you don’t have to stay.” Minttu paused a second before continuing, “I can leave if you’d like, you were here first.”
Post by chaosmordecai on Mar 4, 2012 20:16:50 GMT -5
"new to the area? Then why are you walking around alone?" Chaos asked ignoring the leaving comment. If she had wanted the girl to leave she would have just left herself.
Chaos wasn't social, but she also wasn't outright hostile. She had a little more self-control than that. She also had manners despite the way she grew up. She learned, painfully, that if she was in the room with someone she didn't get along with, it was in her best interests to leave first. She scoffed at their titles. Angels. They were nothing more than hypocrites who held themselves higher in the world. Her mother was the number one narcissist in the entire clan. Even the Archangels seemed to be beneath her.
Chaos frowned at the thought of her 'family'. How could she even call them that? She didn't carry their last name. She didn't even associate herself with them. Only when they came to her did Chaos ever see her clan. And the latest news about stripping her wings, that did not make her want to return. No, she would stay far away from them for a while.
Chaos returned her attention back to Minttu. This girl was so....weird. Talked to strangers, walked in unknown woods, yet she was the size of a toothpick. Sheltered. Severely. "Where do you come from?" Chaos was curious who would raise their kid up so nice and trusting in such a cruel world.

“You sure do ask a lot of questions.” Minttu grinned at Chaos. This area of the woods didn’t seem to dangerous, it was pretty open and she had faith in nature to protect her. Minttu considered sarcastically asking why Chaos was out by herself but didn’t.
Minttu wondered why this girl was so uptight at the moment or if she was always in this sort of mood. She figured Chaos did not want to leave when she ignored her comment and didn’t move. It almost made her happy that someone who seemed to dislike the idea of having company decided to join her.
Thoughts of home entered her mind, it’s safety and security. Whenever something went wrong mommy and daddy were there to fix it, Minttu could of easily stayed in Asia forever but she sought something more from life. In a way she was homesick, she wondered what her family was doing at this very moment and if they were thinking of her as well.
“I’m from Asia.” Minttu answered, “where are you from?”
