Kogo sat in a cafe in Nagoya, Japan, breathing slowly and heavily while eating anmitsu and watching the local news. It was odd to see what he had done on the television; the news showing footage of a failed bank robbery, with the robbers against the front of the bank, their arms and legs cuffed by bands of ice. Kogo remembered the first time he had done that... The person he had restrained had to get both hands amputated due to frostbite.
The cute reporter they had covering the story began to talk about the same thing that Japan had been talking about for the past week... A vigilante who was running around taking out villains and acting like some child who read too much manga. The elemental scoffed, muttering to himself beneath his breath "People never appreciate all the hard work I put into this."
Suddenly, they changed stories in the middle of her reporting as some breaking news came in. An aging male reporter was now showcased on the screen, who began speaking about a cruise ship taking on water about fifteen miles outside of Hamamatsu. Kogo dropped his spoon into the half-eaten dessert and pulled out a few bills, slamming them on the table as he rushed out of the cafe, "Arigatou gozaimasu!"
Once out of the door, Kogo ran into the alleyway right beside the building and his feet left the ground as he pulled his hood over his head. Flying over the city, he headed southeast towards the sinking ship and, reaching it about fifteen minutes later, hovered over it for a few seconds, watching the Japan Coast Guard just reach it. Knowing that he would have to work in a crowded area, Kogo ran his hand over his face as a mask of ice covered in in the direction of his hand's movement, leaving holes for his eyes and nostrils; a maneuver he had stolen from Bleach, thinking it looked cool when Ichigo did it. The hero then dropped down to the boat's level and addressed the captain of the Coast Guard squad that had shown up, "Good job, sir! I shall go under and try to fix up the leak!"
Not giving the man any time to reply, he flipped over in midair and dove headfirst into the water, causing it to split before him and then close behind him, enveloping himself in a bubble of air and he continued his descent to the hole in hull of the cruise ship. Floating before the source of the commotion, Kogo sent his energy out to sense all of the sea water that had invaded the ship and attached his will to it, pulling it all back out towards him. Once the long, slow proccess (about three-five minutes) was over, Kogo caused the water that was suspended over the hole to freeze over, five feet thick in order to keep the hull safe enough for the ship to continue a trip into the port of Nagoya where it could be properly fixed.
Finished with his job, Kogo ascended once again above the water, getting rid of his bubble as he broke surface. He once again flew towards the captain, tired and worn out from too much activity in one day. The older man clasped Kogo's shoulder in a friendly manner and smiled at him, "You scared us, Buriza-do. We thought you were dead down there with how long you took. Did you get the hole fixed?" Kogo looked back at him and smiled tiredly from behind the blank mask, "Yes, sir. She is good to continue into Nagoya without taking on any more water. Or at least, not enough to incapacitate her once again."
Done with his report, Kogo ascended into the air once more, directly beneath a news helicopter and created a thick layer of ice, about five inches thick, to connect the skids and make a bed for himself to lay in and hitch a ride back into Nagoya.

Khali, a sweet and playful thirteen year old girl, with pale skin and long raven hair practically danced around the burning camp fire of her people. She was a gypsy girl, who told futures and fortunes of the people who visited their fare-ground for their coins. With the clan, Leta had been travelling in this disguise for several weeks now. They had travelled most of Asia and this was the last place they were going with, this was the last time she would be using this disguise, she was growing bored of the childish ways and the sweet innocence.
Dressed in beautiful colours, long boho skirts of purples and greens, wrapped in lots of yellow and pink scarfs, she had hundreds of silver bracelets on her ankles and wrists and a silver ring on each of her small fingers.
“There’s another one spotted.” Gregov said, he was one of the leaders of their clan; and, like all of them he was a supernatural. That is what their clan did; they collected supernatural, took them into their band of merry men and kept them safe from hunters. Khali had been her cover as Leta looked for her prize, as she searched the world for someone she could trust with the next part of her task.
Khali stopped her dancing and looked up at Gregov with her innocent and bright jade eyes. “We’ve just seen a report on the news; the new hero has stuck again. Come on-“ He offered his hand to Khali and one of the other women she had been dancing with. “We’re going to see if we can bring him in.”
The other woman was called Mara, she was tall, blonde and absolutely stunning, a dream of a woman. Leta was considering using her as her next disguise. That, would be fun, to play a fantasy. Taking Gregov’s large, paw-like hand in her own, she followed merrily as they transported from their camp and to their destination.

Shifting on his ice bed as the helicopter landed on its pad outside of the new station, the elemental groaned and opened his eyes. It had been a ridiculously short ride, and an even shorter nap, but it had done him a little good. Sitting up on the sheet of ice, Kogo didn't even notice the chill that most everyone else would feel if standing close by.
The elemental checked to make sure his mask was still on before climbing out from under the helicopter and willing the ice to change into water. As he stood beside the helicopter, the news crew that was just getting out went into a frenzy and instantly began trying to interview him; damn it was hard being famous.
Kogo sighed and looked at the reporter who was almost fumbling over herself and stuttering a little... After all, meeting a real superhero was a once in a lifetime thing. However, Kogo didn't have any time to waste on this. He gave a short reply, apologizing for not being able to take an interview at the moment, and flew off, landing on the top of an apartment building. Making sure that nobody would see him, he floated down to a patio on the fifth floor and opened the sliding glass door, stepping into the apartment.
The elemental pulled the mask off his face and threw it to the side, the ice face covering evaporating mid-air. Kogo walked into the kitchen and grabbed a pepsi before walking back into the livingroom and turning on the tv, flipping to the news. He called out, in case the owner of the apartment was in there, "Yo! Jirou! I'm back!" He got a reply that seemed to come from the bathroom, "I saw you on the news earlier! Good job with those bank robbers, Aniki!"
Kogo sighed as he finally reached the right channel, a news program covering the wreck and its aftermath. It seemed that there were no fatalities and only minor injuries that came from the disaster thanks to "Koori-san and the Japanese Coast Guard." Kogo wondered if they were ever going to come up with a good name for him. Maybe he should come up with one himself? Nah, too much work. He just wanted to relax for the rest of the day and not have to worry about anything.

sitting down quietly as he ate his food, Vrases watched the news in a small noodle shop on the rougher side of Nagoya, and laughed quietly. apparently the hero had done it again, something that had brought him fame to many parts of japan. although Vrases didn't live here exactly, he came here often for work, having to do contracts for many different types of people, ranging from politicians to yakuza leaders. "work is work" he thought to himself, slurping loudly on his noodles. already it was already one in the afternoon, and he had already finished up work, leaving him to have the rest of the day to do whatever. "thank you, it was very good." he said to the cook in Japanese, one of the many languages he had picked up along his line of work; it often helped to break down language barriers at his job, although he was a white boy, he could speak it nearly as well as a native. this made it speaking different languages easy for him.
getting up, he looked about and took in the scents of the city, smelling the different things that the city had to offer. sweet buns, odd drinks, and good food were everywhere in this little town. the Sake was bad either, he thought, smiling to himself. walking down the road, he spotted many different things that caught his eyes, ranging from a little necklace to the local girls; he couldn't help it, it just seemed to be in his nature. bobbing his head slightly to the music he was listening to on his iPod, he smiled; he was finally able to relax after his job. the target had been a drug dealer and local pimp who had taken someones daughter and stolen some things that didn't belong to him; Vrases was more then willing to go and take care of him, and made sure to satisfy hos hunger on the other half on the body. he had forgotten to do it two days ago, a stupid mistake, and it didn't exactly bode well for the guy he had found. The body could still be found in the ditch, and he had called in an anonymous call to the police about a disturbance there; he didn't want scavengers to come here to his town.He had already marked part of it as his own, and he was pretty territorial when it came to these things. the newest town had made his city count up to 8 so far across the world, and he intended to keep it like that.
sniffing quietly, he smelled the scent of frozen thing; odd, considering it wasn't cold weather yet he had a sneaking suspicion the creature that had done his deed earlier was around here, and he decided to follow it, using his nose to lead him in the general direction that it came from, all the while humming non-nonchalantly to himself and smiling mischievously at some people that passed him.

The beauty of her long purple boho skirt whipped around her and Khali pulled her headscarf closer to her body. She was stood on her own in the middle of a street, her raven hair caught in a wind and dragged in front of her eyes. The thirteen year old girl looked left then right, then left again. She was the bait…while the travellers she worked with and lived with were mostly good people, people who kept over people like them safe, they didn’t always do so by the most savoury of means. Everyone had a role to play, and Khali; as such a sweet and beautiful girl, was the child used to draw others in. It was hard not to want to rescue the child…
For a moment there was nothing, then the ‘show’ began. Mara came around the corner, though beautiful, she was disguised and attacked the smaller teen. Yelling at her, slapping her around the face. Khali’s face stung with the force of her back-hand; scolding her fiercely for stealing a loaf of bread.
“But I am staving!” Khali protested. “please miss, just a mouthful!”
The slap landed again…and Khali was kicked to the ground, beaten for her ‘theft’.
A rattle of chains, a swishing of air.... And suddenly a length of chain snapped down from above the people and wrapped around the female Mara's wrist jerking the appendage up and back away from the young girl. A snarling growl filled the air with in their ears and Ana stepped out upon a ledge from a darkened alcove. Dressed the atire of a famed, fabled, ad infamous ninja the male hel what appeared to be two scythes with in his hands. The length if chain appeared from the back ends of these weapons and seemed impossibly long (for the male had used his power to control metal and made the chains extend past their usual length) before wrapping around Mara's wrist and forearm.
"Enough!" The male snapped, back flipping through the air and landing upon the ground between elder and younger females. The chain loosened upon her arm an fell away, retracting at a simple unspoken command of the masked male sliding up inside the scythes handles before the entire thing became a long staff with the scythes on each end facing opposite directions. "You wish to play games, use yourself next time instead with in the walls of this town. Do not let myself or any of my clan catch you striking a youngling again."
Tiberius had not returned to Japan to deal with such petty things. Yet time and again he had been delayed with petty squabbles and crimes he was required to, by honor and clan code, settle. He glared at the female before him, standing protectively before the girl behind him. He was immovable in his cause, and he gripped the metallic shaft between his two reversed scythe in a firm but readied grip.

walking along the road, he looked around at the local shops and large buildings, until one caught his eye. a large business corporation, with a massive parking lot. "hey, i could find a good use for some of the things here..." he thought to himself. might as well.
walking over to the cars, he looked around, using his senses to find out which one was cooling down after running. finding one that suited, he was about to break it open when he looked over on the top of another building and saw a young man sleeping! what the hell is that all about..." he thought to himself. might as well go check it out!running down the stairs, he ran towards the interesting sight to quell his curiosity.
as he stepped quietly up the stairs, he looked warily at the surroundings in the building. it definitely seemed to be somewhat run down, however he could see that someone had put some thought into trying to make it seem homely, judging by the way everything was very clean, if not a bit outdated. he continued to walk silently up the stairs, making sure to tread lightly around the edges.
