Korina sighed softly, wheeling her chair along. These two clearly didn't trust her despite the fact she had made no violent (albeit she had bumped the girl with her wheelchair) move against them. She was even offering shelter, and food of their preferred nature. She guess it showed that not all drinkers of blood where the same like most people thought, and the majority where clearly nothing like her once room mate Deliah. Oh, how she missed that sweet half-vamprye. These two, or at least the mostly sane one who looked older And wasn't laid across the back of her mehanik companion and gibbering like a lunatic, was getting impatient a well. Something she was extremely sorry about but being a crippled she wasn't exactly moving very quickly.
All this made her suddenly miss a specific somebody. His face suddenly came to her mind, sweet and kind and caring. She hasn't seen Kyrian for months now. She didn't even know where he was. Not a letter, not a phone call. She knew his life style and wasn't mad at him, she just missed his kindness and trust. His sweet attitude and way of caring more then even her always busy father.
She stopped thinking about that as they reached her home. A large wrought iron fence ran around it. She rolled up to the gate and pressed her palm upon a hand scanner and the gate swung open. Rolling to her front door, she pressed her hand to another scanner and then spoke clearly. "Korina Manalani, and two guests." The door swung open with a loud click and she motioned for the still walking girl to enter. The would carry the other girl. Rolling on after them she lead them straight to the kitchen and opened her fridge. She struggled to reach up on the middle and open a small panel as she had installed it when she still had the use of her legs, but she managed to open it and inside hung about twenty bags of chilled blood. "Here, take your fill. If you'll hand me one I'll feed her." She motioned to the younger girl.

As soon as Ayss saw the house, she could tell this human was close with her 'old roommate' because the looks on her face, even broken up weak Ayss could tell she missed this person. Ayss eyed the robotic dog as it carried her though the gates of Korina's house. Her blood thrust was so vicious if she didn't get food soon she would starve. She remembered the days when she never staved....The days when she still lived in the Darke manor, and humans didn't know who they were. But now, she was starving, with no family, just two strangers she met about an hour or two ago.

Ashlyn sighed quietly when the approached a large house surrounded by a large iron fence. Korina placed her hand on a hand scanner, her hands seemed thin and fragile. But Ashlyn knew that the human was anything but, and that those hands could cause some damage. The fact she was alive while knowing that other creatures exist, and she is not a hunter, proves that. A part of Ashlyn trusted the human. But she knew it would be a long time until she trusted the little vampyre girl. Korina placed her hand on another hand scanner. She said clearly, "Korina Manalani, and two guests." Ashlyn walked in after Korina motioned for her to walk ahead of her. This made her uneasy. But it wasn't the human's fault. It was because after six years of being hunted without her father there made her very cautious. Maybe a little too cautious.
They walked strait into the kitchen and Korina oped the fridge. She struggled to do something inside, and the part of Ashlyn that was raised to help those in need wanted to help her. But the other part stopped her, fearful that she might be pulling out a weapon. Instead inside the hidden compartment was chilled bags of blood. "Here, take your fill. If you'll hand me one I'll feed her." Korina said and motioned towards Ayss.
She acted without saying anything, and pulled out two bags of blood. She held them out to Korina, and smiled.
"I didn't mean to be so rude, your helping us after all. It's just hard to be trusting of humans. They have killed most of my family. And in the past six years I've grown distrusting of all of you." She did her best to explain.
She reached back in and pulled out three bags for herself. It would allow her to feed at a later time. Though she would still have to feed daily, it was the only downside of being a Dhampir. Ashlyn bit into the first bag, and drank. Her body already feeling better. She drank until there was nothing left, and repeated the process with the two other bags.
When she was done, she locked eyes with Korina for a brief second and said, "Thank you so much"
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina took the bag the girl was kind enough to hand to her. She laid it in her lap and rolled to a draw and pulled it open. She with drew a small paring knife. Laying that in the lap as well she rolled over to the younger vamprye and helped lift her off the mechanik dog's back who instantly left. Picking the bag of blood up she rolled it between her hands rapidly for about a minute.
Having warmed the blood so it wasn't so chilly she then gently set the bag down and pulled the girl's head in to her lap. Using the paring knife she poked a hole in to the bad and gently pressed the hole to her lips. Squeezing she gently trickled the blood in to the youngling's mouth. "Gently now....drink slowly dear. You don't want to choke, or get sick. Yes, you can make yourself ill guzzling it just like a dehydrated human. Easy now dear." She looked back up at the other girl to catch her look. Her own kind eyes looked back in to her eyes.
She didn't respond to the other girl's words verbally but smiled and nodded. She motioned to her and whispered. "Will you hand me another, she's gonna need it." She held her hand out, a soft beeping coming from somewhere in the house. Korina frowned but ignored the beeping for the moment as she took care of the two vamprye's in her home.

Ayss was getting fed by the human, sadly enough. Her headache started to slow, along with Ayss' hunger and other symptoms. She sucked down the bag. one after another, She finally stood, and stumbled to stay balanced. "I- I have to find him, Reese, he could be looking for me. I must-" Ayss fell to the floor, still not completely regained. She gripped the wall and stood. "I must." She repeated many times. Ayss closed my eyes, and tryed to imagine where Reese could be. The images that came though were horrible. He could be lying dead in a ditch right now, and I can't even fucking stand, Whats wrong with me? I should have never let him go off by himself. Ayss thought. What have I done? I'm a horrible sister, I need to find him! NOW! She continued to stumble toward the door, falling every two or three steps. "Gently now....drink slowly dear. You don't want to choke, or get sick. Yes, you can make yourself ill guzzling it just like a dehydrated human. Easy now dear." The human's words echoed in her ears. "Will you hand me another, she's gonna need it." She was right, she couldn't move on like this, but she had to.

Ashlyn was angered by the little girl. She just barely fed, and was still recovering from the brink of starvation. And she also could not walk. And she expected to track down her brother, who was most likely dead or with a hunter.
"You are such an idiot." She mumbled.
She was glaring at the back of the girl. She wanted the girl to feel what it was like to face a hunter alone. A scenario was already taking place in her head.
The little girl would have stumbled out into the street. She would following the path she though would go to where she and her brother had been staying. She'd be walking through an ally, when the hunter corners her. A silver knife in her hand. The hunter would place it against her neck, a sicking smile on their face. The girl would struggle, and would knock the human down. But another hunter would appear. Ayss would move to knock ehr down as well, bu more would appear. Surrounding her. Each one holding a different kind of stake.
"Lets see which stake kills her guys." One would say, no emotion in his voice...
Ashlyn snapped her self out of it. She rubbed a hand through her hair to calm herself. She was still angry, but more at herself. That was a power her father said she should only use when she had too. She had found out about it shortly after her first experience with a hunter, when she was alone. She leaned against the fridge, taking a deep breath. Slowly relaxing herself. After a moment she looked to the human, to see what she though they should do. She was obviously older, and more experienced. And Ashlyn knew she should respect her.
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina watched as the female attempted to stand and leave already, seemingly determined to find her brother. The girl was determine but in a stupid, senseless way that was going to get her and others hurt. It wasn't time to be nice. It was time to be mean. Grabbing the wheels she rolled herself forward and grabbed the girls arm with her left hand turning her around. Her right arm drew back, palm open but cupped slightly then she brought if forward across the young girl's face.
"Be silent little girl! Do you think your going to do your brother ANY good in this condition? If he is dead he is dead and there isn't a THING you can do about it. A hunter will pick you off on the blink of an eye? Then what is your brother going to do if he really is hurt or in need of you?! Huh? Now, pull yourself together or I will lock you on my back room!"
Korina released the little girl and rolled her wheelchair back watching hoping she had broke through to her sane side. That was of course if she had one. She glanced over at the other girl, the older one who although didn't seem to like Korina had not attacked her or gone off the deep end.
All the while that annoying beeping continued in the background, the perimeter alarm that told when somebody was moving around outside the house, at which point on time Korina was suppose to activate Eddie, her security system. However in the drama happening Korina hadn't been paying attention to the beeping.

The vision flashed though Ayss' fragile head, She had been cornered, and would be dead within minutes. She was too proud, Ayss broke though the ally, when the first one appeared. I can do this. She thought. But she couldn't. The others appeared and Dispar was in her hands, she was going to die, unsuccessful and useless. a tear dripped down her face as she came to reality of the human telling to be quiet. Ayss decided she better listen, they were right this was getting her nowhere. She came to terms that without her brother, she was useless out there. she could't do this on her own, as much as she did. She heard a beeping getting louder and louder. "What the hell is that?" Ayss asked the noise was getting louder, she never noticed it before, but it sounded bad.

Ashlyn rubbed her temples. There was some thing beeping. It was getting on her nerves. She ignored it as the human stepped forward and slapped the younger vampyre. It would have been funny, well it was funny, but Ashlyn didn't laugh, it wasn't the right time.
Again Ashlyn was tempted to laugh, but did not. It wasn't the right time. And the beeping was now worrying her. With the kind of technology that surrounded this house, it would be some kind or warning or something.
Something in Ayss snapped. And she stopped trying to leave. Maybe the vision Ashlyn had made her see helped her. As well as the honest words from the human. The beeping was still there but Ashlyn ignored it, watching the younger vampyre, still wary of her.
There was a few minutes of silence and the beeping seemed louder. "What the hell is that?" Ayss asked, being the first to say something about the beeping.
Ashlyn watched the human but she did not show any emotion. This also made Ashlyn nervous. This was her house after all, she would know whats going on. And she needed to share. It would be the two vampyres that would help her stay alive until she could get her own weapons.
"You need to tell us what that beeping is, and now."
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina looked from Ayss to Ashlyn and took a deep breath. That wasn't like her at all. She knew vampryes had powers... Perhaps the sane one had something to do with her out burst. Pulling herself together she nodded. "That is the proximity alarm. It means somebody is trying to enter the gate with out permission." And Korina had a damn good idea who judging upon her current house guest.
Looking up at the ceiling Korina spoke a single word that came out as more of a question. "Raphael?" The returning voice seemed to come from the whole house, soft and almost musical, the accent a slight Hispanic tone. It responded instantly to Korina's inquiry as of it had been waiting. In which point of fact Raphael had been.
"Yes Korina, eight people are currently half way through burning through the lock upon the front gate. They seemed to be well armed, several fire arms, a few blades weapons from what initial scans indicate as silver. There are also some wooden objects that appear to be stakes. A ninth being is among them, and I detect no heart rate upon it very much like the young lady you just slapped."
Korina looked first at Ashyln then at Ayss. "Looks like we found your brother just fine with out a problem. Just as your hunter friends found us. Come girls..." She wheeled quickly out of the kitchen and down the hallway. She turned down a long hallway and rolled as quickly as she would down it (which was fairly quick, at almost a jogging pace). She stopped before the huge metal door and pressed her palm against a green panel and the military style doors slid open revealing a huge room filled with mechanical parts and standing on the center Eddie, her electronic defense system. She rolled in and ushered them in as the robotic dog slipped past them all and entered along side them.
"Raphael, send Sebastian and Ariel at the intruders as soon as they get through the gate. It won't stop them, but it will slow them down enough to let me get suited up." She turned to the girls.
"I want you two to stay here. It's safe. They can't get in this room, unless your brother is helping them. Then they might. I'm gonna go out and stop them."

grunting as he sat up from the fall, Vrases scratched his head and looked around. teleportation could be a lot of fun and send him to a lot off places, but damn, he still had to get the hang of it. looking over, he still had the bottle of jack Daniels he stole from the pub in Edinburgh before he teleported out. laughing a little to himself, he got up on both legs and looked around at his surroundings. "oh man, im in the nice part of the town of wherever the hell i am." he thought to himself as parkway drives "guns for show, knives for pro" blared loudly of his headphones that were still in his ears. guess that all my stuff is in piece, good to know, he thought to himself. stretching, he took a swig and looked over the surroundings again, taking it all in, when suddenly he heard something.
that something sounded like a welding torch on a metal object. sniffing the air, he smelled dried blood and the thick scent of wood, accompanied by hurried whispers on the air. "familiar scents, familiar enemies." he thought to himself. "damn hunters...they're everywhere" he said quietly to himself. glancing around, he saw a bright flash of orange that looked to come from a concentrated flame; so that's where its coming from...
"ok, its fightin time! time to go kill some hunters." he thought gleefully to himself, wearing a malicious smile. luckily the houses were close together, so he was able to go from home to home relatively easily. scrambling up onto the home near to the gated house, he watched with curiosity at the group gathered up in front of the house trying to get in. yup, hunters; all the stakes and swords didn't bode well for the person or people inside the house. "luckily, i hate hunters more than any kind of creature. always taking potential jobs from me and trying to track my kind and kill them....sigh." grabbing his gear, he slid his knives into their slots in his shoes, popped his .22 into his holster, and brought his jack Daniels as well. "for luck!" he thought dramatically to himself as he took a big swig and started along his work.
crouching out of sight, he watched the group as a plan formulated into his head." ah, perfect!.." grabbing the bottle, he got as close as he could from the house as he dared and looked at the bottle sadly." you're sacrifice shall not go in vain good sire!" he said somewhat dramatically; probably the alcohol already in his body talking. taking his headphones out, he dropped his bag on the top, and hurled the glass as hard as he could against one of the marble pillars near beneath him. it crashed loudly, and he crouched down, watching the group.
"what the hell was that!" he heard. "i dont know...travis, go investigate." he listened as apparently the leader told one of the members from the front to go look. watching the hunter walk cautiously towards the noise, Vrases watched with anticipation as the hunter walked right underneath him. grinning somewhat evilly, he quietly waited until the right moment, and when it presented itself, he jumped silently on top of him, and smashed him into the ground. stuffing part of a piece of cloth into his mouth, he grabbed the man by the hair and pulled him past a corner and looked him in the eye, saying quietly "its not nice to go and try and break into peoples houses..didnt your mommy ever tell you its not nice?" he said soothingly, and as the man watched him, he felt his arm shift into its actual form, massive claws and powerful muscles rippling in the moonlight. silently and without remorse, he slit the mans throat wide open. as the man bled out, he looked through the guys pockets, took the stake and threw it off to the side, and took out his wallet for future investigation. he also took his phone out for contacts; maybe he could find more hunters through the phone and its records. this is getting interesting he thought to himself.
propping up the man on the other side of the house on the other gate, he took out a slip of paper and wrote a couple words on it, and propped the paper on top of the dead man, making sure to find a home security camera and put him in front of it. smiling, he walked to take care of the rest of them, leaving only the dead body slumping into the bars with the words in bright yellow so they could be seen; "a gift. this will be over soon enough. -from a friend" written on it. looking at the camera and smirking somewhat, he went around the other side to see how he could pick off the rest....one by one. so instead of the assassin or mischief maker or even the observer today, he got to be the helper... this night was getting more and more interesting by the minute, he thought to himself, glancing over to the others as he quietly stalked towards the group.

Ayss didn't like the fact she had to wait in the safe house, she had trained many times, and had a lot of pride. But she had a feeling the creature among the hunters was not Reese. He would of gone back to their temporary home, and then thats when he'd start to worry. Ayss struggled to walk as she went over to feed more. She grabbed a bag, and sucked it down, wiping her mouth afterwards, she drank another two bags, and felt alot better. She was Finally her normal self, and she came to her senses. "Look, I'm sorry; Okay? I was NOT in my right mind, and well, you get the idea. But I am very smart. I can trick them, I can use my powers. Please, Let me help, but from inside the house. I understand the dangers of us going out there. I also understand that this is all my fault, so I simply wish to help as much as possible; Even if that means staying here." Ayss said, sounding like the Intelligent person she actually is. Her toughts came clear.
She knew, she had to thank all of them, she would be dead right now if it weren't for them. She now realized how close she came to death. And how stupid she was. The beeping got louder as the busted though the gates, Ayss only assumed Sebastian and Ariel (Whatever they were) were on the job. She heard humans scream in pain. But she knew the battle was far from over. "Um...Thank you, both of you, I would be dead right now if it wasn't for you. And again, I am so very sorry to get you all sucked up in this."

Ashlyn's blood ran cold, that wasn't Ayss' brother. She could feel it. She could sense that was her sister. She grabbed one last blood bag, for extra strength.
"Look, I'm sorry; Okay? I was not in my right mind, and well, you get the idea. But I am very smart. I can trick them, I can use my powers. Please, Let me help, but from inside the house. I understand the dangers of us going out there. I also understand that this is all my fault, so I simply wish to help as much as possible; Even if that means staying here."
She ignored the girl, her mind formulating a plan. She had to save her sister. She just had too. The beeping got louder, and Ashlyn knew that gate had broken down. She walked closer to the door.
"Um...Thank you, both of you, I would be dead right now if it wasn't for you. And again, I am so very sorry to get you all sucked up in this."
Again Ashlyn ignored the girl, she let her powers go, her aura of fear making her seem terrifying. And she knew she was amplifying everyone's emotions. She was mad, they have her twin. She rushed towards the doors. Ignoring the two other girls. She didn't know if they were trying to stop her. She had her mind on only one thing her sister.
"Fuck Remy, I am so stupid. I knew you would follow me." She mumbled, and started walking even faster towards the front door.
Ashlyn burst through the door of the house. She eyed the front gate, the hunters there were all dead. But there were more, all around them. She let out an inhuman hiss. She eyed one of the groups of hunters, she didn't see her sister, but she could still feel her.
"No Ash, get out of her, Ash no!" Her sister was screaming at her, she turned quickly.
She eyed the hunters, she realized that these were two different groups, and they had teamed up. One group was hunting Ayss and her family the other was hunting her and her family. This pissed off Ashlyn even more. She knew they had redwood stakes. But as long as they didn't stab her in the heart she would be fine. Silver and wood didn't hurt her like other vampires. But she did take a little longer to heal.
"Ah it's the Davis girl, now all we need is the Darke girl." A hunter spoke advancing on her.
He had a silver knife in his hand, and she laughed. It was cruel sounding, and it was terrifying. He lunged and cut her down the arm, with the silver blade. She just smiled, and held him by his head, and after he stopped struggling, snapped his neck.
"You idiots obviously don't know the kind of vampyres your facing." She said simply, and killed the next hunter that came at her. All that was running threw her head was getting her sister safe.
She continued to fight hunters, sometimes they would come in twos but most of the time it would be a singular hunter. But every time she killed one, more would show. She caught her sisters scared look, and fought harder. She was bleeding, but she could care less. This was going on for two long. This wasn't just for her sister it was for every single member of her family they killed!
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina sighed and rolled her eyes. These girls where not very good listeners. They would end up dead very soon if they didn't learn. Young and impetuous is what they where, and it wasn't going to help them. She rolled herself over to the wall and pushed a button. She glanced over at Ayss and sighed. She waited till the opening on the wall had fully slid open then using her arms she lifted herself out of her wheelchair. She swung her dead legs over and slid them in to the cushioned leg cavities of her powered suit and slipped them down inside the suit. She pressed herself face forward until the suits cushioning pressed firmly against her stomach and chest.
"Raphael, close it up please." She felt the metal behind her closing to seal her inside and she felt a thrill as she always did when she suited up inside her power armor. With it, she could once again walk! She stepped backwards and away from the hole on the wall where er suit was stored when not in use and turned around. She smiled at Ayss and nodded. "Now, are you going to stay here for me?" She grabbed her custom assault rifle that had been laying upon the table and slapped a magazine in to it and two more went in each of her hips where special compartments opened to receive the magazines then closed to secure them.
She the ran from the room, yes RAN!, down the hallway. Making a left she quickly ran to the front door and went though it. She glanced around and instantly closed her helmet about her. Hunters where everywhere, several dead. Many of them where attempting to kill the other Vamprye girl. She ran towards that group and raised her rifle to her shoulder. Aiming carefully she tried to decide where to shoot.
Hating killing for no reason, she didn't want to just start shooting at them all. She knew she could drive them away. So she lowered the rifle slightly as she flicked the setting to three round burst and squeezed the trigger. The first bullet tore on to the ground at the feet of one hunter, the second about a foot to the left of the entire group and the third a bit farther off, then they exploded. Each shot went of with the force of a grenade, blasting dirt and grass all over and sending the entire group of hunters as well as Ashlyn flying.
Korina ran up to Ashlyn and stepped in front of her. "Alright, you are all trespassing on my land and I have the right to shoot and kill every one of you." Her voice was magnified by her suit ensuring every groaning hunter who was attempting to struggle to their feet heard her. Even those still farther away. "So you had better collect your wounded and leave immediately or the next shoots will be to your chests." She raised her rifle to her shoulder.
She watched as the hunters slowly gathered together then retreated. They had been expecting vampryes, not some crazy lady in a mecha suit with a assault rifle that fired miniature grenades. She watched as they all retreated, all except a small figure left by itself with its hands tied behind its back.

"oh man, do i want one of those things!" he thought happily as he watched a massive robot come out with a gun that could shoot bullets with the force of grenades. smiling like a kid in a candy shop, he watched with undisguised interest at the creatures that had gathered in front of the house. the walking machine of death seemed to be commandeered by a human that seemed like someone that a friend had described as, but otherwise then that he didn't recognize any of them. climbing up quietly one of the houses in front of the assaulted home, he watched as it turned out the hunters were running; what was even more astonishing to him was that the human was letting them get away! "that's a little more insane then....not getting pancakes at ihop!...wow im a little more inebriated then i thought if that's the first thing i think about." he thought to himself with an odd look on his face.
watching as the hunters began to fall back, he weighed the options of what he could do, raising is hands in front of him as though they were scales and what each option would cause. "ok, lets see... don't kill them, and let them come back with more people after them, endangering lives in the near future and causing even more creatures to die and letting hunters live, its the right thing, blah blah blah...ok... and on the other hand, kill all of them except for the one in the front yard cause it looks like they got that together... allowing for hunters to NOT know where they are, thus ending this whole fight, i get to sate my creature plus...i get to kill some hunters! this is insanely obvious...why am i even debating this?!" he thought, shrugging. grabbing his .22 caliber, he popped on a silencer and waited for them to pass underneath him.
as they began to come under him, he took aim and began. taking out 4 of the hunters quickly and precisely on the tops of the head into the frontal lobe of the brain and ending motor function, he saw that their were only two left... now, he could finally sate his other half. feeling his limbs grow longer and claws begin to emerge where his fingers were, he roared silently to himself as the transformation completed, feeling whole again as a massive Bengal tiger, weighing nearly mopre then half a ton of pure feral power. leaping down on top of the two of them, he felt his claws go quickly through the first one and sever his jugular. turning to the second one, he grinned ferally and pounced on the man, knocking his head onto the concrete, rendering him unconscious. feeling the blood-lust subside, he cracked his neck and looked around at his handiwork. "not bad" he said quietly, and went about going through the dead men's pockets. grabbing wallets and phones, he gathered them up and put them in his bag, leaving one of the phones out and started to go through its records. as he did so, he walked over to the unconscious men and grabbed him by the color of his shirt and dragged him over to the house where the three people were at, wondering absentmindedly if they could see him since it was still kind of dark. walking to the front open gate, he looked at the massive mech warrior and put his hands up in a mock show to show he didn't have a weapon in his hands. "im not one of them, im just here to offer this up to you.." he said, throwing the final hunter next to the other hunter who was tied up, and as he did so continued to search through the mans phone. " you know, its wasn't exactly the best choice to try and let them go. they could have simply gone back to their hideout, gotten more men and better equipment, and come and sieged your house with maybe with the end result as them in our positions. those two" he said, indicating at the two that smelled like vampires" could still have been gone, but they still would have come after you for helping there sworn enemy get away, and still gone and track after them as well. glad that i wont have that on my conscious though!" he said, sighing quietly and looked to where the dead bodies were. "i should probably go hide those and burn or bury them...hmm." he said quietly. turning back to the two and turning off the phone he pulled off the unconscious man, he looked up and smiled, and said "ah, but where are my manners! my name is Vrases, Vrases Claudt. nice to meet you." bowing to them in a show of polite mannerism. "and who might you all....wait.." taking a look at the women in the mech, he began to think that she did look familiar.. he could recall a friend describing a women that looked like her.." im sorry, but i don't mean to sound odd, but would your name happen to be...i think he said Korina?" he asked inquisitively, indicating to the mech warrior women. this was getting even more interesting then he would have expected he though happily to himself.
