listening quietly to the young girl as she continued on and on in her rude manner, he decided he had had enough of her mouth; he wasnt exactly a very easy to anger guy, but there was just something about her that....got to him. smiling disarmingly, he walked up the small girl and laughed, and leaned on the back of the chair that she sat at, he spoke rather cheerfully "haha, hm, ok...ya, you see, thats the problem with being, what, 15? and think that... you can stand up and act tough in front of somebody.." as he spoke, he began to look at the ipod with sudden interest, and took it rather easily off the counter and read the song; of mice and men was the band playing. "shame...its a good song" he though quickly to himself, and continued to speak "who can snap you like a twig...or an ipod" he said, and crushed the ipod in between two fingers, feeling his two fingers turn into malicious looking claws for a second, then shifting back as the adrenaline flushed out. "child, you may be a creature, even one of the night" he spoke, with a quiet and cold anger that he had not heard for a long time, "but you cannot even hope to fight and win against me, so keep your smart ass comments to yourself; if it was tyrant creed or another one of his kind who had you said that to, he would disembowel you right here with no second thought. take this as a warning. keep you're mouth free of insults... and dont tread on the feet of people who could kill you without a second thought and as if you were a gnat." suddenly, he burst out into a smile, much like his insanity would tell him to do, and spoke rather cheerfully, "but that's what i would say if i weren't in a good mood! hehehe." laughing, he glanced over at the other creature; she seemed much more pale in comparison to the younger one...and he could tell why. she had lost a lot of blood, he could smell it clinging to her.
following korina and subsequently ignoring the younger vampire, he went through his bag to take out a kit that he held just in case he had to take care of wounds that he had as well. reaching into the kit, he unfolded it and began to take out all the tools; a pair of scissors, bandages, a scalpel, sleeping pills, pain killers, ointments to numb areas for acupuncture or amputations, blood clotter pills, and many other things. taking the pain killers and blood clotters, he handed them to korina. although he could do the work, it seemed like she was in charge at the minute, and he was happy to oblige with that. " here, they're blood clotters in order to staunch the bleeding and pain killers; it looks like she has a severe laceration to the kidney as well as the anterior oblique abdominal muscle from the knife wound. if you put pressure on the sides of her hips and then put the bandage in an x-formation around her waist and the wound, the blood clotting pills plus the pressure should be enough to staunch the loss of blood. glancing around, he saw another blood bag and glanced over it; o-neg. perfect. handing it to korina, he sat in the back and observed as the human got to work.

Ayss balled her fists as everyone was worrying about Ashlyn. She wouldn't admit it, but she cared for Ash a lot more than she should... It was odd. but at the moment she was laying over her Ipod, broken. she started to hyperventilate. of all things, NO ONE fucks with her music. But she didn't dare attack him, he knew where to hit her, music was the only thing that kept her sane, and now....it was gone. she remembered how well the human girl was with technology. She figured she would have her fix it after Ash was healed. There was no reason to mope what could be fixed. she took a deep breath, "At least we can somewhat agree on music..." She said as he left to help Korina. Ayss stuffed the broken Ipod in her pocket. She then sat back down in the chair, leaning back, thinking. Vrases was right, she was being a huge bitch. She needed to keep her mouth shut. Reckless and relentless she thought, if only she could listen to that song. She should of known better than to disrespect his music, she though about it now, she would've done the same thing. she didn't blame him. How could she? she never should of left that broken down church.

After a few seconds, Ash lost consciousness. The vampyre blood in her was what made it so she was conscious again in a few minutes. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on. She thought she had heard both the werebeast and the human talk about her. But she really was not sure. She was anxious because she wasn't aware of her surroundings and that was not a good thing. Yet Ashlyn knew the three people in the house would not allow her to get hurt, at least not now anyway.
When she finally was able to process her surroundings Ashlyn noticed she was in a bed. Her stomach was wrapped at she felt much better. And she could feel the blood pumping through her, and was relieved. Her wound was dressed correctly. She attempted to try to sit up, but failed. Ash's body felt like lead. She felt very tired. She attempted to stay awake. After awhile she closed her eyes, and fell asleep. Tired and wounded, and she just couldn't fight the tiredness that took over her.
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina instantly took the blood clotting pills and gave Vrases a thanking smile. She wasn't worried about the vampire girl getting disease, or not being able to heal. She simply needed to stop the blood flow and get blood back on to the female as quickly as possibly so she could heal herself. She contemplated the options for a moment then popped the blood clotting pills in her mouth.
She chewed them furiously, gathering as much saliva in her mouth as possible and then pressed her lips against the wound. She forced the drug mixed with her saliva in to the wound, causing the blood to begin clotting immediately instead of taking precious minutes. Pulling away she grabbed the bandages and pressed them against the wound. She pushed everything else to the side and grabbed a needle and thread instead. Glad the girl was once again passed out she began piercing her flesh and pulling the thread through, stitching the wound shut tightly.
Tying off the stitching a few minutes later she sighed and began cleaning the blood from around the wound with rubbing alcohol. Then she applied a layer of bandage over that to protect the stitches from catching on things. Sitting back she sighed and nodded. "She'll be ok. Thanks for helping Vrases. That meant a lot and saved precious time."

glancing around, he watched korina as she worked on the vampire. the women definitely knew her way around medical works, he thought. watching as she deposited the blood clotters directly into the wound, he nodded slightly at the move; it would be much more effective than through oral prescription. watching as the women began to come around, she fell back asleep nearly instantly. that was understandable; she had lost a lot of blood for someone her age. smirking at the two, he wondered exactly how they knew each other; were they family? friends? who knew.
listening to korina as she complement him, he smiled; it wasnt everyday that he got them. " it was my pleasure to help korina....im glad that shes going to be alright. i was worried for a second. she...and that other girl, unlikely as it seems...dont deserve to pass away at such a young age. they still need to go out and experience the better parts of the world...not just the one that we creatures are stuck in." sighing quietly to himself, he began to have flashbacks of when he was all alone in the orphanage; one day, he had snapped and nearly killed one of the other kids, and had then been sent to military school...now that was entertaining, he thought, smirking to himself rather darkly. looking at the passed out girl, he decided to simply sit for a bit and converse with korina, wondering if the other girl was going to follow. she would be welcome as well if she wasn't rude. "so, do you know these two? or...are they just some stragglers you met in need of help?" he smiled disarmingly, watching as korina went about her business.

Ayss stood next to Vrases, looking down at Ashlyn. "stragglers you met in need of help....." She repeated. "That's all we are." She said it with a twinge of sadness. "i was worried for a second. she...and that other girl, unlikely as it seems...don't deserve to pass away at such a young age. they still need to go out and experience the better parts of the world...not just the one that we creatures are stuck in." He had said earlier. She knew what he meant, she remembered life when it was so simple, when it was just her and her family in the mansion. Now, these days, she got caught feeding on some random human. Nothing was simple anymore. Everything full of blood and strangers. Nothing was happy anymore. At least not for Ayss. If only she could go back to those simple times. But no, no more happiness, just starvation, most likely dead brothers, and a hand full of people she barely met, not to mention the anger.

Ashlyn woke up some time later. She felt bad. First she leaves her sister to find her human mother who left her family and probably didn't care for AShlyn in any way. Then she gets another vampyre and a human mixed up in it. And some how a werebeast too. The nice human Korina even after her home was attacked, and all that. Still helped her get well, and let her and Ayss stay inside so they didn't burn. And AShlyn felt like it was all her fault. She dropped her paper, which stopped Ayss.. Ayss then bit the human, and Ashlyn didn't' stop her. It was all her fault.. Ashlyn knew she was probably being to hard on herself, but she still felt guilty. She sat up in the bed and sighed. No one was in her room. And it was really quite other than the low mumble of voices from somewhere else in the house. She was guessing the kitchen. It had been where they were all before she had passed out.
After a minutes Ash stood up and made her way towards the voices. She yawned as she walked. Her mind a body still slightly asleep. Her wound felt better, so she knew in a day or so it would be gone. Not even a scar left to remind her of the day. AShlyn was just lucky she was part human and silver didn't hurt her like it would a normal vampyre. Like Ayss. Because she knew if she was that wound would have killed her because of the silver...
With a start she realized the hunters weren't done. She and Ayss needed to get out of there. And she knew just the place. The hunters wouldn't think she would go there. She would normally go there. Not after her siblings. They had to go to the Davis Manor. Once there there would be blood, lots of it. There was a tunnel leading towards a blood bank. And they were weapons and stuff that would protect them. All they had to do is find Ayss brother. And then they could stay there. It would be a perfect place to go...
"Ayss," Ashlyn said coming into the room. "I have the perfect place we can stay, once we find your brother. The hunters wouldn't think to go there. It is too protected. And after uh a thing they wouldn't think I'd go there. It would be the last place they look."
She took a deep breath and looked at everyone. Waiting for someone to say something. After all she did just barge in her and start rambling. And they must have been talking... Ashlyn felt like she was being rude, and she was also embarrassed. A light blush colored her cheeks as she sat down.
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Sighing softly Korina leaned back, then rolled herself in to the bathroom. She washed her hand thoroughly to get all the blood off. She was afraid of disease, at least not the typical disease. However if she cut herself and the vampire girls blood entered her veins who knew what could happen. She she scrubbed down well, every inch of her fingers and fingernails then dried her hands off thoroughly.
Coming out of the bathroom she rolled herself to the kitchen and poured herself a drink then went to the living room. There she sat alone until the others joined her and began talking in slightly hushed tones so as not to disturb the slumbering night dweller in the other room. She nodded and giggled. "Yep, just two little strays upon the roadside I picked up. And arn't they just adorable!!" She laughed as she playfully said that last sentence as if she had picked up stray puppies or kittens.
Ashyln walked in to the room and instantly began talking about leaving to which Korina sighed and rolled her eyes. "Look, you are both perfectly safe right here. Those hunters will not be coming back for at least a few days. If you seriously want to leave....at least let me go get a poker and some marshmallows to toast some s'mores of your burning corpses." She pointed at the light streaming through a window. "Sun's up, and you both arn't going anywhere. So why not simply sit and enjoy yourselves for the time being and stop being in such a hurry to leave?"
Post by Ashlyn Jay Davis on Aug 29, 2013 18:52:50 GMT -5
"Korina I did not mean to be rude. And I don't plan on leaving now. But we can't stay here for long. I can't put you in danger for long. You may be able to handle it. But you shouldn't have to."
Ashlyn took a deep breath. And looked at the human. She was so kind. She helped them and everything. And Ash hoped the woman knew how grateful she was. She just hoped the human knew that having both of these vampyres in her home for long would make her a target. And Ashlyn wouldn't let that happen. She wouldn't let someone die helping her again. Even if she wasn't really the one to blame. This is a kill or be killed world. Ashlyn knows this well.
And she knows she can't just sit around and hope that things change. That she'll get through this life easily. She can't do that because none of that is true. And no amount of hoping will change it. But Ashlyn can change how she deals with the world. And she wont sit here and let these people dies because they helped her.
Ashlyn should have realized when she left the house that it was dangerous. Her family members have been dropping dead a lot lately. But she was so desperate to find a mother who abandoned her family. All of these things that happened because she decided to do so. Not like she regrets it, because she met some great people. And she planned to keep them as her friends. But because of this, she can't stay here long and put them in any more danger.
"I will stay here until I am healed. So for another day or so. But after that, I must help Ayss find her brother. And then I'll go find my own siblings." She paused. "And while I am here I'll enjoy myself. I'll take this luxury which I haven't had for awhile. Thank you Korina."
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina sighed looking at the female, shaking her head slowly from side to side. "Ashyln, why must you be so difficult?" She muttered to herself then turned away. She rolled across the room an in to the bathroom. She put the stuff away and then came back out and looked at the Vamprye girl again shaking her head still. She was young and naive, and clearly was going to get herself killed. Korina didn't want anyone killed, even of they drank the blood of others. They where still people as well.
"As you wish Ashlyn. I do hope your family is alright and you find them alive and perfectly well again." She looked at the girl and sighed. "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything more for you dear." She rolled to the window and stared out it. Her elbows propped on the windowsill and her chin resting upon her palms, watching as her swarm of robotic bees was already removing the bodies from the lawn by ripping them in to minuscule pieces then burying them around the grass to be used as fertilizer. It wasn't as gross as it sounded. You couldn't actually see anything the pieces where so tiny.

Ashlyn sighed. She wished she could just stay here for weeks. But that wasn't possible. Not at all. She had family to find. And she would help the younger vampyre. Thats just who she was. And maybe she was a little naive. And maybe she could get killed. Actually she would get killed at one point. That was the life she lived. But she was in the same amount of danger here that she is out on the streets.
She looked at Korina, and smiled. This human was so kind to her. Even when she drank the blood of others. If only more humans were liker her. The world would be a better place if so.
"As you wish Ashlyn. I do hope your family is alright and you find them alive and perfectly well again." Korina said and started at the vampyre letting out a sigh. "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything more for you dear."
Ashlyn met the humans eyes. She had to make her realize that she did more than she should have.
"No, you did more than enough. Letting me stay in your home. Helping with the hunters. All of that is awesome. And I'm thankful. You don't need to do more for me. So do not be sorry. Don't be." She said, and looked out the window, waiting for a response.
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina sighed and shook her head. "I do have to be sorry, Ashlyn. It's simply who I am. I try to help everybody I know and come across. If I was not, it wouldn't be who I am and I don't want to be something I am not dear." She smiled and looked at Ashlyn. "However I do understand where you are coming from dear. I just wish you would let me help you. I can help out quite a bit you know."
She sighed and rolled from the room, heading back to her work shop to check for damage to her suit. She entered and sighed, shaking her head. There where several scratches and dings from where bullets had grazed it and ricochet off but not taken direct hits. She sighed and grabbed a rag and some polishing agent to begin polishing the scratches away.
She worked steadily, rubbing each of the scratches out and moving to the next. Then she finally came to the dings and she grabbed a small tool, pressing it against each mark and slowly pumping it until each dent popped back out. She would remove the tool and polish each section to make it beautiful again.

"Did you make it yourself?" Ashlyn asked Korina.
She had followed the human to this room. And watched in silence as she started fixing and polishing her machine thing. It was pretty cool. And Ash could appreciate the beauty in it's workmanship.
She eyed the human who worked tirelessly at making the machine look brand new. Sometimes Ashlyn wished she could just sit and relax like this. But she couldn't not anymore. It was the curse of being a nonhuman. Ash wouldn't dwell on it though. That would get her nowhere.
"It's nice. I wont fool myself. I know nothing of machines or things in them. But it is sure a neat thing you got there." Ashlyn paused. "It sucks that you have to use it though. I don't mean to be insensitive, but not being able to walk would be hell. You are sure one strong woman."
The vampyre blushed, even when she tried to be nice she sounded like an ass. Oh well. That is who she is. It can't be helped. Well at least it proved to be that way most of the time. Ashlyn slid down the wall she had her back to, and sat down. Staring at Korina trying to read her reaction to her words.
Mitch Lucker once said, "Keep listening to music, cause it gets you through anything, I promise." And he still keeps true to his promise, even if he is no longer here on this earth.
Korina smiled and looked back at the dhampir and nodded. "Thank you dear. I had taken me a long time to get this thing ready and working. All this is is making certain it stays working and looking like new. Pretty simple and easy. Just polishing out the scratches those hunter's knives left. The dents from glancing bullets. A straight on shoot will go through the metal easily so I have to be careful with that." She smiled and looked back at her setting her stuff down.
She turned and looked at the female, moving closer. She wasn't upset but she wanted the girl to understand something. "Your right dear, it does suck. I won't even lie. However instead of sitting around and moping about it I decided to so something with my life, how ever little of it I have left that is. That is why I help other people and don't concentrate on myself." She looked down at the girl sitting on the floor now and extended her hand to her to help her stand up.

Ashlyn took the woman's hand. She smiled at her when she was on her feet. It sucked that a woman like this had to go through the things she has. And she so selfless. Ash wished she could be like that. But Ashlyn is a selfish person, she has always been. She usually helps others to help herself. Was it possible she could be more like this woman.
With a small sigh, Ashlyn focused her attention on Korina. "So what do we do now. I don't really know what to do for fun..." She admitted with a blush. It had been so long since she really let loose. She was always serious. And Ashlyn wanted to change that. Now more than ever she wanted to have fun. "I want to have fun. So I'm trusting that you will help me with this Korina." She paused then added. "Please."
