Locutus's humanoid form is brutish, rugged, and cruel in appearance, but those who know him know his bark is often worse than his bite. He is a predator, sharp eyes, ears, a strong sense of smell. He moves effortlessly, quietly through the wilds... and has a habit, much to the dislike of many, to simply appear out of nowhere. The real danger comes from what lies within. Beneath that brute's skin lies a ageless intelligence, Nature's protector, existing for as long as the nature itself has, or at least so the rumor goes. His true age is a mystery. He has no love for the damage mankind has brought upon nature, but he does not hate mankind as a whole. Understanding that they too are creatures of his beloved home he continues to struggle with the desire to protect the helpless creatures of nature, and to allow humans the right to exist as they always have. The result is a being not outwardly hostile towards mankind, but certainly won't hold back against those who would do harm to nature without a very good reason. And while he is no fan of human creations, he is not without understanding the value of some of them, even to the point of making use of them. He is often very understanding, never turning a deaf ear to someone in a time of trouble, regardless of who they might be, human, undead, or otherwise. However, he is also very reasonable and will not get involved in the plight of someone lightly.

Protecting Nature
background
Very little is known about Locutus's, including his real name. He is often referred to as Locutus enim Ferox which is Latin for "Speaker of the wild". He later assumed this name finding it fitting. Anyone who has made friends with him know him by this name or another common name Ijian. His name is often shortened to Loc (lock) by many who know him well enough.
Anyone old enough might remember a time before Ca'guuror DelaSangre ascended the mantle of God of Nature. These individuals might remember a time when it had been Locutus who filled that role, constantly protecting Nature from forces who would seek to bring about it's ruin. For many a period of deafening silence came between the time they last saw the God Ferox and the arrival of Ca'guuror. It was a time not without trouble for both the world below, and the gods above.
Only two people truly knew what happened on that fateful day when Locutus's left his position amongst the gods. It was a secret only shared between those who had been present that day. Unfortunately... it was a secret that would be forgotten by the previous god. For when Locutus transitioned from god to mortal... His memory had shattered. Everything he had been simply flowed from his now mortal mind, unable to process the millennia of life he had lived.
When he was cast back to earth by the event, he could not even begin to fathom where he was, or even who he was. He was left to wander aimlessly about the surface of the planet. Only able to rely on snapshots of his former life, Locutus couldn't begin to know where to start. He knew there was more to him than the nothingness that came to his mind, but he could only grasp at straws. Unable to find a place to start he simply walked along until he ran into civilization. Thankfully there he stumbled upon a pair of elderly folk who were kind enough to take him in till he could get on his feet again.
They helped him integrate into society, never truly knowing what he in fact was. The ex-god stayed with them for several months until one day changed everything.
In the middle of a calm clear night, a trio of would be thieves broke into the house of the elderly couple. Armed with a couple pistols and a knife, they made their way through the house, stealing everything that wasn't nailed down. Eventually they stumbled upon the sleeping elderly couple and roused them to their feet, ushering them into the living room where one kept an eye upon them while the others searched the house further.
One of the intruders stumbled across the sleeping form of Locutus and made the mistake of rousing him. Waving the gun in his face, the man tried to order Locutus into the living room. The result he got was entirely different. Startled, Locutus, for the first time, lost control of his innate ability to shift forms. Shifting into the form of a wolf, Locutus became enraged and attacked the man, killing him. Before the others could react to the loud noise, he charged into the hall, where upon he ran into another assailant. This one managed to flee back into the Living room with the other, who then turned, waiting for the creature to reveal itself.
It came with a fury. Charging swiftly into the room, Locutus made for the two attackers. As fast as he was, he wasn't able to reach the pair before one let off a shot, sending a bullet into Locutus's side. Further enraged by the pain shooting through him, Locutus unleashed hell, clawing, slashing and biting at the two attackers. Ultimately the defense they put up proved futile as they settled lifelessly upon the floor. Convinced the danger was over, Locutus shifted back into his normal form and turned around to face the elderly couple. That's when he saw a new enemy.... fear. The pair stared at him as if he was entirely foreign to them. Even without saying anything, that gaze penetrated into Locutus and cut at him. He couldn't figure out why, but he knew he could no longer stay with the pair.
Without bothering to pack the limited belongings that he had collected during his time with the old couple, Locutus turned and fled out the door, never looking back. He fled out into the wilds, being strangely attracted to them for reasons he could not understand. More flashes began to plague at his mind as he ran deeper... and deeper into the unknown.

Locutus is particularly fond of predatory creatures, especially wolves. His fondness for nature often extends to mythical creatures as well, including dragons and gorgons, whether they like him or not is a different story.
