Smirking to herself, she walked through the small town of Hamburg. It was so cute, it being part of her true home. Adelaide walked through the area, crossing a bridge over the water. She slowly sat upon the bridge, dangling her feet down while looking out across the large city. She had heard of something causing havoc within the city, and she wished for it to stop. Germany was her home, and she would protect it with her life.
Dropping a pebble, it fell into the water and caused it to ripple. The movements reminded her of herself, constantly rippling against the calm lands. She slowly stood up and looked down at the water once again, her bright blue hair falling about around her.
She looked down into the water, her reflection bouncing back at her. No smile graced her lips, for she felt no need to smile. If it meant for her to fight and keep Germany safe, she would become the creature she was born to be. Turning on her heel, she walked on into the small forest near the port. The residents had said the 'monster' of some sort usually attacked the small stores near it, for she would be ready to receive the vicious attacks of her enemy. From what she heard, many people had been going missing, men more than women. And from what she learned, it only happened at night. Even children had been going missing, causing many people with kids to leave their homeland in fear. She could not allow such problems to continue, knowing this truly was a safe environment.
Many older residents that had escaped, which was only a few and kept dwindling by the day, constantly spoke of bright red eyes, almost as deep as the blood deep under their skin. Because of this information, she felt she knew what she would be dealing with. She only hoped no one was in the way, for the fight would be deadly. Anyone that dare attack her home became her worst enemy that she slaughtered by her own paws, her own terrible claws.
She would die to protect her lands, and for that: she smiled and made her way into the hidden shadows to await the fight.
The large wolf prowled through the woods, his nose upon the ground and sniffing loudly. His head lifted suddenly and he stared at the dark sky and he howled loudly, letting his deep voice reverberate along the ground and bouncing off the trunks of the trees in the forest around him. He stopped howling, cocking his head to the side and listening. He dropped his head back towards the ground, returning to sniffing along the ground and trotting slowly in random patterns. Suddenly he stopped and began growling as the fur along the back of his neck stood upon end.
A dog looking creature slowly trotted out in front of his path and stopped, staring at the wolf with glowing red eyes. The wolf snarled, baring his fangs towards the dog body tensed and muscles bulging visibly even under his fur. The dog yelped, and began trying to run away from the wolf. The wolf followed, bounding along the ground, leaping over boulders and rebounding off trees to change direction quickly to keep up with the smaller more lithe dog. The dog yapped loudly, while the wolf would occasionally loose a blood curling howl, it's glowing yellow orange eyes gleaming in the night.

The noises within the forest caught her attention slightly, for she smiled to the beautiful music. As she crouched, she heard a yelp which caught her attention.
Turning, she sniffed the air. Something was running straight towards her, along with something much bigger and stronger than itself. Her legs lifted her as she started to slowly walk towards it. Her cat-like extinct colored eyes glowed in the night. Her scent she easily hid, careful to avoid detection of whatever made its way towards her small frame.
She stopped in her tracks, watching a small black dog run right towards her. The wind whipped towards her, she could smell its fowl smell, along with something of a large wolf...yet it didn't smell so much as a natural wolf. The dog ran right towards her arms, its glowing red eyes wide in fright.
"Hmm... Which of them is what I must destroy? Or is it simply just a small animal fight?" She thought to herself. A soft growl passed her lips, for she knew what ran towards her wasn't simple animals.
She was being tugged into some form of fight, and she wasn't even ready.
"Oh god. How wonderful, I'm a moderator..."

The wolf was gaining upon the small dog like creature, panting as it ran hard. Legs churned, throwing up occasional clumps of dirt and grass as long talons dug in to the earth to propel the creature faster. Then suddenly a female appeared right in their paths. The small dog ran straight towards her as if it was going to leap in to her arms suddenly for protection, though the creature would have absolutely none of that. It had taken a long time to hunt down this aswang after it had begun it's personal killing spree. Now was the time to finish it off, and not allow it to escape.
As he ran at the female, he concentrated upon his human for. Suddenly, right before the female's eyes the shape began to change from a large wolf quickly in to a man. As the change finished, the completely naked male hand sprung clean over the female while his other hand grasped the scruff of the aswang and pulled it along after him over the female. He landed upon his feet behind her and hurled the little "dog" against a tree brutally. He snarled at the dog like creature, lunging forward and changing back again in to his wolf form, teeth bared ready to sink them in to the flesh of the small creature.

A...naked man...jumped over her. Her body responded instantly, for she was used to seeing shifters change in mid air before. She growled at the sound of the small dog's bones crunching against the tree as she withdrew her wrists towards the wolf. Even if it were an enemy, it didn't deserve to be slung about like a sack of potatoes. She would know, going against mammoths in her day that would sling her about, for which she ended their lives for doing so.
Upon her wrists were things like arm bands, but actually had wheels over them. They were her weapon of choice, for needles shot out of them. The wheels churned, shooting a needle just over the wolf's fur and sticking into the tree in front of it. Her voice came out dangerous, animalistic.
"Mind I ask why a shifter is after this animal?" She didn't mention what the animal was, for it would be her kill, not theirs. Her legs sprang into action, leaping over the wolfman and landing in a spring-like position in front of the shifter. She aimed her needles at him as her eyes narrowed.
Her hands instinctly went out to catch the wolf's jaws as he was about to lunge forward.
"Think not you won't recieve the same dangerous attacks, dear 'puppy', for I will not be as nice as this one here." She growled out to the one behind her, her eyes shifting into one of an extinct animal, the scent that wafted off from her gave off instantly of something stronger, much more older, than the shifter in front of her.
She didn't play cat and mouse, for she was the hunter and the prey would beg for mercy.
♫ -You hunted me down Like a wolf, a predator I felt like a deer in the lights- ♫
The wolf snarled as the female launched several needles over himself, then caught his jaws. He glared at her, then twitched his head at the tree the needles as implanted in to. The needle wiggled free from the tree, then broke free from the tree and half flew at the female, aiming at her eyes to blind the female instead of killing her, while the other half struck the dog like creature, penetrating deep in to the muscles of the rear legs. Although not powerful enough to cause death, the needles where enough to damage the muscles and prevent the creature from utilizing it's back legs to full efficiency.
Thanks to the distraction that the needles caused at the female's face, the wolf dodge away several feet out of her reach. Pretty sure that she had gotten the hint that an attack like that would not only be futile, but also more then likely dangerous upon herself he stood there panting in the night air glaring from her to his prey. He wanted nothing more then to finish off the inhuman monster that had been killing people. However, this female might have other powers that he was yet to know about.
Slowly, bones cracking and snapping as he slowly took his human form he stood before the female. He was again naked, as a were-beast was unable to change their cloths like a shifter could. However he had long ago lost his sense of modesty, and found it nothing of note. Short curly dark brown hair covered his head, and dark brown eyes gazed upon the female. He didn't move from where he stood, gazing upon her intently. "Do you really intend to stand before me and my prey? This monster has killed many people, and simply takes a form it knows you are weak to and will defend with out hesitation. Would you hesitate to attack a massive blood covered bear? Or a enormous, horrible monster? It can take those forms as well. Now let me finish."

Her own needles shot out towards her, causing the woman to dodge as quickly as she could. One needle grazed her, as the other sunk deep within her cheek. She growled with frustration and slowly reached up, pulling it out as blood dripped down the side.
The man caused her own weapon against her; bravo young one.
Once her eyes focused back upon the shifter, she noticed his distance. She could hear the animal behind her yelp as her other needles struck it. She was unsure of where it hurt the creature, but she didn't care. Her own needle had caused her harm. She didn't mind it, for her skin automatically went to healing the wound (heal).
As her skin stitched itself back together to cover the deep wound, the male slowly shifted back in her sight.
A smirk played across her lips, for she knew exactly what was behind her and wished only to be the one to kill it. Yes, selfish, but she cared not.
"I would defend, for every animal deserves to hunt, eat, live. However, this thing behind me should know that it is you that'd be better at protecting it than myself for what it and I have already gone through. You see, little boy, this is my hunt. I have been hunting it far longer than you, so back off. This land is mine, not yours. This aswang is mine." Her thick German accent drifted through the wind as her once humane silver eyes began to swirl, turning into one of a yellow. Her calling out the aswang, she knew its stiffness indicated one of realization. It finally knew what she was, for they had run into each other before. She was the one that had almost caught it a few nights before, a small scar showing over the "puppy's" back. It was small, but she had been the one to make it.
This was her hunt, not his. He may have hunted it for a while, but she was the one that had stayed here countless nights in search for the little bastard. She had been the one protecting the children it had tried to attack. She was the one that would kill it, not this man.
"Now run along, and let a elder shifter do its job. Unless you'd wish to help, then shut up and do so." She snarled, not meaning to insult, but her patience was wearing thin and she didn't like to wait.
♫ -You hunted me down Like a wolf, a predator I felt like a deer in the lights- ♫
The male smirked as the female snarled at him, in a clear attempt to intimidate him. He was not afraid of her, no matter her powers or age of shifting. He twisted his wrist, causing the needles in the creature behind her to wrench around inside the beast extracting an excrutiating howl from the creature. He smirked, enjoying the pain a little. He had listened to her little....triad...about things hunting and eating. Yet here she was hunting the creature herself leading to a hyprocritial comment which he chose to simply ignore.
He simply smirked at the female, shaking his head softly from side to side but not taking his eyes from her. "If you where hunting it, and failed to catch it when I have so effortlessly tracked it in two days and prepared to kill it, what kind of huntress are you? Apparently not a good one." He grinned, and suddenly the needles flew from the creature behind her, flashing over her shoulders and coming to the male. They stopped before him, then suddenly dissolved in to a silvery cloud that slowly swirled around the male and reformed in to twelve tiny metallic spheres the size of bbs that revolved around him like a small meteor swarm.
He continued to watch the female intently, having already noted her eyes changing color. He wondered if she would finally do what she claimed to come to do, killing the creature or if she would attack him like he could guess she was feeling deep in her veins.

Ohhh, this man had guts, for she wished to tear them out. However, the howling of pain behind her kept her focused. She had to stay ahead of it, keep it as her own. She wouldn't let some boy play with her kill; his punishment would come after she took care of the aswang behind her. Crunching could be heard as bones shifted about.
The man could see, let alone hear, the pain she had to go through for it was quick but harsh. Bones moved within her as black stripes began to form across her pale skin. Her multicolored blue hair began to slowly transform into a orange and black wave of hair, falling around her body. Fur pushed out from her skin as bones moved about, crunching and breaking against each other harshly. A snout began to push out as a snarl pressed through the tigress's dangerous lips.
The feline's massive paw slammed around just as her clothes shredded from her as fur burst its way out. The snarl almost sounded painful, yet full of power as that lone paw smashed against the creature behind her and flung it across and slamming into a nearby tree, it cracking from the force against it. A smirk spread across the feline as she looked at the man, her last humane words coming out before she fully transformed: "You're next if you agitate me further."
She fell to her full animalistic urges and sprang after the aswang, ready to kill it and save her precious land. The scent that wafted off from her gave off of power, yet hunger for something...more. Something many couldn't pinpoint, for if he could it would be rare. Something about needing to be with others, yet having no one else. Alone, frightened, yet covering it with her strength and hope.
She put up a good rough exterior, yet was a soft heart underneath. She hated to kill, yet the balance was needed and the creature had been throwing it off lately.
The aswang screeched and tried pulling itself from the tree before she snarled and dragged her claws against the tree right after it pulled itself from the tree it had been imbedded into. The creature leaped over the large feline and ran past the man towards some bushes. The wind roughly brushed against her towards him, allowing the male to smell her frustration and wounds she hid underneath her thick fur. The large Siberian Tiger turned, leveling her beautiful yellow eyes upon him.
She may not have said it, but her eyes did: She didn't wish to harm him, for her only mission was to save her lands, her home. She didn't like asking for help, but yet she needed it now. Not want, just need. For the creature had dug its massive jaws into her once before, tearing her skin almost apart on their last encounter, which had slowed her down in the hunt for she needed to heal to find it once again.
The feline stood proudly, even if her one paw was hoisted slightly off of the ground. She wouldn't dare ask of it, but she could only hope the man had some courtesy within him to help a fellow shifter, let alone a woman.
♫ -You hunted me down Like a wolf, a predator I felt like a deer in the lights- ♫
The male watched the entire interaction between the female and her self claimed "prey". It was reckless and crazy. She was all about power and strength, lacking all the speed and agility her body was capable of in this new shape. She was really limiting herself. He may not be able to take different shapes, but he had seen almost all of them in action. From lions to tigers and bear (oh my) he had watched them all. A tiger's body was a perfect blend of speed and strength, yet she focused only upon the strength aspect. She needed to seriously open up her horizons upon this aspect. He watched as she now turned to him, gazing at him with magnificent eyes with her foot slightly lifted from the ground. She was clearly injured from her recklessness, however there was nothing he could do about that at the moment. He slowly walked towards her, (still completely naked) and knelt before her. He reached out, taking her paw gently and slowly feeling it. He sighed, shaking his head.
"You cracked two of your carpal bones and broke the wrist, Miss. You will need to stay off that foot for some time now." He sighed, glancing after the beast they had both been hunting. "I suppose as it now knows we are both after it my art of surprise it lost. We should work together now to recapture and kill it." He said these words as if the idea had come from himself, not from her failure. Why? Because he could tell she was a prideful being, and would refuse to ask from help. The way he was proposing it was as if it had come from his own mind and was his own plan now, instead of being hers. A very subtle way of soothing her hurt pride indeed.

She was surely grateful of his offer, without hurting her in the process. His statement about her paw was already obvious to her, for the entire time she stood upon it her teeth had been gritted harshly and her actions had shown it.
Her movements were usually so swift, quick, and yet with broken bones it made her seem...careless. She truly despised it. Her healing had been working on getting it healed, but broken bones took a while to fully fix, for she wasn't a skilled artist of the healing.
The large feline bobbed her head, agreeing with the male keeping her eye level with his to not linger downwards. Every shifter deserved that respect, for their kind couldn't help if the clothing they wore tended to shred to pieces during the transformation.
The tiger turned slowly, careful to abide by his statement on her paw, and look in the direction of the aswang. The feline narrowed its striking eyes towards the bushes it hid in, before hunching while her tail wagged slightly. The ears flattened upon her head as she awaited for the man to transform, half expecting him to become something different than what he originally was; yet the scent that brushed from him gave off something...different. The more she sniffed, she could tell he was no shifter, at least...couldn't change into multiple things.
Adelaide's eyebrows furrowed while she tried to figure it out within her mind, yet still waiting for him to change in order to help assist. The aswang must die tonight, for she would not allow it to slaughter another innocent being within her homeland again.
((Sorry it's so short. D: I was running a blank! D:!!))
♫ -You hunted me down Like a wolf, a predator I felt like a deer in the lights- ♫
Smiling, the male nodded at her and turned his back upon her. Not being rude but being so that he could face the direction in which the creature had gone to take cover. Covering his back from shoulder to shoulder and looping down along his spine was a huge black tribal dragon. He thought about it for a second and grinned as he felt the tingling coming from the tattoo. The black wings of the magnificent beast rose from his flesh, expanding outwards quickly and the tattoo expanded along his body causing his skin to become the black of the ink as he took the form of the same dragon that had been the tattoo. He lunged forward, wings slamming backwards as he propelled himself towards the aswang. He roared loudly, taloned feet stretching outwards and down.
He had chosen this to throw off the female at least slightly. He could tell she was on to him, about not being a shift though she probably didn't know what yet. Using this power to take a different shape would confuse her scent even farther he hoped. It was his nature after all. Never reveal who or what your truly where. People would hate you for it. It was drilled in to his mind from his sensei. Always keep then on their toes.
His huge taloned feet wrapped around the aswang, and jerked it upwards in to the air, before Tiberius made a pinpoint turn upon one wing and flew back towards Adelaide and dropped the creature directly before her. He changed back in to his human form mid-air, somersaulting and landing in a crouch beside her and snarled at the aswang but made no move to kill it. It was her wish to kill the thing herself, and he was respecting that wish.
