How about a Satyr, or Faun, as a possible race? Half human, half goat. From the waist down it is a goat, and from the waist up it is human. They could have . They could be interesting. Just an idea.
Anthrozil: The offspring of a human and dragon (because dragons are sentient after all and can shape shift into human form).
Anthrozils are both fully human and fully dragon, as human and dragon DNA are extremely close to each other. However, the human side of an Anthrozil is the dominate trait. All anthrozils live in a human body, much like any other human being upon the planet. The difference being, each anthrozil takes one draconian trait from their parent dragon. This can be the wings of a dragon, able to cause the bein to fly, or the tail. It could even be a none see able trait, such as a dragon's ability to breath fire. Also, each anthrozil would inherit a dragon's natural ability to sense danger, though at a much reduced rate.
Innate Abilities: Sixth Sense One draconian trait passed down
I though this would be a pretty cool new race maybe. I sounded good at least to me. Plus they are not to powerful or anything so they could fit in well with all the others.

I love the idea for a satyr, but the half dragon thing is a bit...too anime for me. The idea of a dragon in a human body seems more like a caveat to get around the "problems" with a dragon character (ie size, inability to fit in a normal street, etc etc). Thumbs up on the satyr idea, especially with their history.
The modern idea that Christians had for satan (ie horns, goat feet and a tail) came from the idea of Pan, god of the satyrs. We could also stay true to the old greek legends of satyrs spreading nature...and all aspects of nature. They were known to be hedonists and drunkards, and there's even an old statue somewhere of Pan making love to a goat. I remember being shocked by it in my history of art class.
But anyway, the idea of Pan's children being hedonists and tricksters goes back a long way, I think people would have fun playing with it. Also, satyrs are very close to centaurs, another "drunkard" race that's based on athenian ideals of hedonism. Though centaurs were more philosophers and warriors than 24/7 party people like satyrs.
"Faith moves mountains, but intelligence moves them to the right place."
Thanks for the thumbs up on the satyr. Yes, they would be really great at being pranksters, tricksters, and drunkards in general.
However, the half-dragon thing wasn't a way to get around a dragon's problems. You could get around a dragon's main problem simply with the shrink ability and still keep all a dragon's positive points. This was more about compromise. Anthrozils would be stronger then a human, but like only two or three times. A dragon is immensely strong. If your anthrozil breathed fire, it would not be anywhere near as powerful, nor would it reach the same distance as a dragon's no matter how good they where. The lung size just wouldn't allow it. See what I mean? This is more a compromise race. You gain the good things of a dragon, but they are cut in half by a humans weaknesses. That was more the idea I was getting at then side stepping problems.

Anthrozils, I'll tell you right now, are not happening. However, Fauns I would be interested in implementing. I've got two or three other races in front of it, though. I won't be implementing any new races until all current races are represented by active characters so they don't get overlooked due to new races. Gorgons, Primates, and Vampyres are all completely unrepresented, so.... ye.
Also, if someone maintains good roleplay for long enough, quest races are going to be possible. That is, roleplay well enough and we'll consider giving you a special race that others don't have... though you can turn it down, of course.
I contemplated making a primate. However, I was confused on how they would interact with others? Do they know how to speak, and are just naturally shy? Or are they unable of vocal language other then animalistic noises??
