Sage smiled softly, he stared down at the tied up male at his feet. Tape wrapped about the short, balding and whimpering man at his feet. The wind rushed through the area, as he smirked down at the man. A fire burned behind his deep grey pools, instead of round pupils his pupils were slits. "Tell me where he is you son of a bitch!" the angry tone was filled with hate. Sage gripped the thick, rounded bottle he had been drinking from for the past hour or so. A brow arched, as he listened to the whimpering man shake his head.
Sage took on a mocking tone, as he crouched slightly."Aw, what? I can't hear you." his left hand rose to cup about his ear. As if he couldn't truly hear the whimpering and head shaking low-scale mafia underling. He chuckled, as his left hand shot out and tugged the tape off the males lips. As the male whimpered and teared up,"Please, I have a wife and kids." Sage rolled his eyes, as he pulled the id he had taken off of the male. His eyes scanned the id before he tossed it to the floor before him."Tony, listen to me." he smiled softly. As he crouched down beside the male, a cold and bloodthirsty aura emanated from the male. As he smiled warmly, the whimpering male had ceased his blubbering for the moment.
Sage was clad all in black, black low tops, black form fitting jeans, a black leather jacket and a black v-neck. He took a swig from the bottle, the alley was secluded and dark just behind the closed restaurant. At three in the morning, he didn't expect people to be out or any restaurants to be open. He looked to the male,"Tony, baby. Come on, talk to me,.." he had adopted a mocking tone, having not felt the need to draw his twin trench blades that were nestled in a leather holster hidden by his jacket. He allowed his left hand to grasp Tony's tie and shirt as he lifted him up and slammed him against the brick wall. He snarled, as Tony whimpered."Tell me where is Adrian Voncratz?" a brow perked, as Tony shook his head. "I don't know."Sage snarled and tossed the male to the floor,"Wrong answer Tony! Round two! Tony!" he snarled, as his slits contracted his aura of fear thickened as burning white hot pain erupted through Tony's form.
Tony screamed, tears flooding down his red face as he kept repeatiting "I don't know!" the words sometimes broken and whimpered. Sage scowled, as he took a swig from his bottle. It had been well over five years since the death of his mother, the cool feel of the silver chain against his chest.. His mothers chain. Sage shook his head, as he took a final great swig from his bottle. The remaining liquid swishing about, as he crouched down the pain still violating Tony's form. As he glared down, as if staring passed the male before him into the past. A distant look glazing his features,"He killed my mother, and I will have my vengeance." he whispered softly, as he released the hold of pain on Tony's body for a second to allow him to catch a breather he couldn't die.. Yet.

Phoebe wandered through the streets, utterly lost within these streets. The twisting turns lead her either everywhere or absolutely nowhere at all. She groaned, running her fingers through her long black hair to try and keep down the stress of being lost. The narrow streets had had her almost run over several times, the Italian drivers yelling out swear words she could not understand as she kept accidently wandering towards the middle of the road, her mind constantly associating the narrow streets with some sort of paths.
She stuck her hands in her pocket, and sighed to herself. Where in the world was her hotel room? She was wondering if she should just give up and wander into a bar. Did she even have any money? She had transferred them to Euros, but had she left them all in her room? Checking her pocket, she sighed in relief to see a few bills. Of course, she always had weapons on her body, but she tended to be a tad more forgetful with bills.
Italy, so far, despite the night, was beautiful. But Phoebe had not come for the scenery. She had come to do her self-assigned job. To topple the greedy, powerful sons-of-bitches who ruled this world. She had been following a gang for a while, one of the more powerful and influential ones. She had first come across them in America, but as she got in deeper, she learned they had deeper ties in Italy. She was scheduled for a move anyways, so why not continue on a thread of crime she had already gotten into?
She sighed as she passed a street sign, wondering if she had already been there. She sighed and started humming a tune to herself, bored. Soon enough, the wandering woman was singing. “When the moon hits your eye like a big-a pizza pie, that's amore. When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine, that's amore.”
Okay, it was probably a tad stereotypical, but it fit the country she supposed. Plus, amore was one of the few Italian words she actually knew. She supposed she would have to pick up the language. She continued singing, finally deciding that if she saw a bar, she would just spend the night there instead. Crash out drunk, have one nice night of relaxation before she committed herself to working on breaking down this gang. Topple them from power. “Bells’ll ri-” Her singing was suddenly cut short by the sound of a scream. Phoebe wondered what it was. If someone was getting their just reward, she may even join in. But if it was some innocent, she had to at least help them out. She suddenly broke into a run, trying to find the location of the scream.
Tony shook his head, as he gasped for breath at Sage's feet. His right hand rising as he allowed the remaining contents of bottle to spill over the whimpering man's maw and chin as if he himself had been drinking and simply spilled his contents. Sage sighed, as he listened to the male at his feet. His tearful eyes and snot covered maw remained stuck on his form, as he continued to plead. Sage simply glared,"Tony..give me something..or." his right hand rose, his middle finger and thumb meeting as they quickly parted for one another. The friction created a sharp 'snapping' sound, as a orbs of flames now hovered just above Sage's open palm.
Sage crouched down, as his aura of fear had ravaged Tony's mind. While his gift of harm had destroyed his body, it was a deadly combination. The underling would never be the same man, let alone have a healthy life should he even live. His left leg rested upon the right, as he held the flames just above the male. "Now...you have given me some information, I've let you live this long. Tell me somewhere to start to find him." Tony sniffled as he nodded his head, believing that he would survive if he would help this dangerous man. "Hidden..Rosa." Sage smiled and dispersed the flames and gently slapped the side of Tony's face."Good boy." His form rising, as Tony stared after him confused.
Sage turned hands in his pockets, as he turned and moved slowly."Yes, that's it." his mind whirling back to the death of his mother. How he had watched her die, and all because of the death of a single man."I can't have afford to have loose ends." he stepped from the alley, as the moonlight fell down upon his dark form."Goodbye Tony." the softly sobbing Mob member struggled to his feet."You said you would let me live! Was it a lie!?" Sage shook his head and turned, his slits locked on Tony's form as he released his gift of Harm upon him. It didn't take long for Tony to shake gripping his chest, the incredible amount of pain that violated him causing a heart attack. Sage shook his head, as he watched the dying man before his ears caught the echo's of racing footsteps. He turned looking upwards, as a fire escape ladder hung down in the alley. Sage turned and leapt into the air, his right hand capturing the bottom bar.
As he dangled for a few moments, he quickly pulled himself up and began to his assent. As he reached the second landing, he was now level with the small bar roof from which he had dragged the mafioso. Sage lifted his left foot onto the railing and took a deep breath before launching himself forward, as he landed and rolled forward. Sage quickly put down the empty bottle and crouched in the shadows of the higher building that cast a deep shadow over top of the roof he was on. He remained crouched low, as he waited simply interested by the sound of racing people. As he remained low and hidden by the darkness and his own black attire, pupils normal as he watched the alley simply waiting hopping it was another mafia member for questioning.

As the pounding of her feet slapped repeatedly against the concrete, echoing against the close-in walls and hurting her own ears, two thoughts occurred to Phoebe. The first one was she was damned glad she wasn’t claustrophobic, because the imposing tall walls so close together would have given her a run for her heart. The second thought was just as useless and merely another surface thought that passed through her mind, it was that she supposed running aimlessly wouldn’t hinder her, since she had already been lost in the first place.
A much more logical thought replaced the two unimportant ones, one that made her wonder not where she was running, but exactly what she was running to. She obviously didn’t know the exact location, just the general area of the screamer. Was she running over to something that would kill her?
As Phoebe passed another narrow alley, even narrower than the streets themselves, she stumbled and nearly fell on her face. She slowed to a halt a moment, wondering where this overwhelming sense of fear had come from so suddenly. Instinctively, she wanted to avoid that terrifying alley, despite it not looking any different than the others, and continued on a different path away from it, still looking for the screamer. She wasn’t running now, figuring it was impractical, and instead kept up a brisk pace of a fast walk. The farther she got from that alley, the more normal she felt. Once she felt completely unafraid again, the thought occurred to her that perhaps that alley was indeed her destination. Why else would it be so terrifying? Plucking up all her courage, she jogged back to the alley. The closer, the more heart-wrenching it was, but she held on to her courage, as fleeting as it was trying to be, and continued down the darkness. As a source of comfot, she lit a small light, an orb that sat in the palm of her hand, so that she could see better. It wasn’t too bright, as she didn’t want to flash herpresence. The soft sound of distant sobbing reached her ears, and suddenly, after the mumble of a voice which was too low to comprehend, the sounds stopped.
She forced herself to dash again, wondering if some port innocent had finally been stabbed or shot, wondering if she could save them. She came across the body, and looked around, trying to see if the attackers were still around. Whoever they were, she couldn’t spot them, but her guard was set very high as she reached down to check the body for a pulse.
Nothing. It was nothing more than a body, no soul or whatever it was inside of it. She brought her palm closer, illuminating the dead man’s features. She suddenly grinned, and even let out a small chuckle. Standing to her full height, a smile was on her face. She recognized this man. One of the underlings she had been following around, trying to find out who their leader was. She gave it a swift and satisfactory kick, effectively knocking it down so that it just laid lifelessly on the ground. Phoebe thought she heard the sound of shifting, and her laughing stopped, as she took another look around to try and spot if anyone else was still there. She closed the palm of her hand, extinguishing the light. Dressed all in black anyways, and with her black hair, she was nothing more than a shadow hard to discern against the background once more, her own eyes scanning for any movement within the murky darkness of the night.
Sage watched as someone..a female passed the alley, his aura of fear was still pulsating. It seemed it had driven the female off, a smirk crossed his features rather pleased. As he turned to leave yet once again he heard approaching footsteps not minutes later. His form crouching once more, as a body entered the darkness. A small orb of light illuminating the shadows, as he narrowed his gaze. He quickly took in her features, the dark hair and dark clothing made her a bit hard to view even in the small orb of light before it vanished. Sage shook his head, and simply peered into the darkness. He suspected the female was still within the alley, she was not mortal. No simple mortal, could summon a ball of illumination like that.
He heard a swift bump, as if the body had been kicked. A brow smirked,"Hm.." the male shook his head,"No time for women." he turned, the Russian Mob boss was somewhere in Italy and he would find and kill him. Sage slowly slunk back before turning away and dashing off across the roof, his gift of fear aura once more shut off. Sage loved the mostly close buildings, as he moved down the block scanning the streets. He stopped and looked across the layers of roof top,"Hidden Rosa." Sage needed to find the hidden rose, he sighed and looked about before moving to the edge of the roof. He was two levels off the ground, a injury certain drop, a wire of small bulbs ran across the street connecting roofs. Sage sent a prayer, his form leaping forward in a dive as his arms remain outstretched. His fingers finding purchase on the rope, his weight and momentum caused the chord to snap.
Sage gritted his teeth, as he swung across the street and slammed into the wall with a grunt."Jesus." the word came through gritted teeth, his ribs ached slightly from the contact."Brilliant plan." he muttered, as he slipped down the chord and found the earth beneath his feet. Sage quickly scanned the area and sighed, as he walked off looking for the Hidden Rosa.

It was indeed a beautiful night in a beautiful city, the cool wind blowing its way through the many narrow alleys and becoming the only companion of many stumbling drunks on their ways home. On top of a bar roof sat a man who was every bit as average as any other at first glance, but was truly very peculiar indeed. He frowned as loud screams came up from the alley across from him, down on the other side of the bar; such horrible screams disrupting his peaceful night.
He sighed for the third time since the yelling had begun, already having checked out the source of the disturbance. He swished around the bottle of Malvasia Nera in his right hand before taking another sip and looking swishing it again, moving the muscles in his palm in a circular motion as he slowly rocked his fingers to and fro in order to move the bottle. He barely had any of the drink left in order to share the splendor of such a glorious night with.
A blood-curdling scream rose into the night and carried itself far away into the dark city, like the cry of tortured souls sneaking about to steal children from their beds. The wine-drinking male sighed one last time as he realized it was all over. He had heard that scream multiple times, in multiple different voices; the last cry of a dying beast. Unconsciously, the male's left hand reached out to silently drum its fingers against the hilt of his katana for reassurance.
Suddenly, breaking through the cold silence that follows death, the sound of rushing footfalls invaded the man's privacy. He groaned silently as he heard someone coming up the fire escape; it had to be the male who was torturing the mafia guy... Tommy or something? The other footsteps were still coming. Suddenly, Kyrian saw the hate-filled man from the alley way climb unto the roof and, not wanting to be bothered, decided to stay quiet and not attract attention. Kyrian studied the man's features carefully, knowing that he was a supernatural form the way he made the mafioso scream in agony without even so much as truly touching him. In the darkness of the night, Kyrian caught every detail of the male as clearly as if it were daytime, thanks to his genetic makeup; and smiled as he watched the man watch the alleyway carefully.
Kyrian caught two things that the male said, 'No time for women,' and 'Hidden Rosa.' So obviously the one who was running earlier, and now in the alley, was a woman. But the Hidden Rose seemed to be something important, at least to the male crouching on the other side of the roof. Kyrian smirked as the other male left him alone on the roof and stood up, calming walking to the other side and peering down into the alley. Below him was a female who looked to be in her early-to-mid-twenties, the same as the male before, beautiful dark hair, fair skin, and a lovely face that was twisted staring up at the rooftops, though a little ways down from him. He quickly fell down to a crouch, although he knew that he had the advantage in sight currently. He was slightly distracted, trying to think of whether he should follow the mafia-killing male, or the woman who made light earlier with no flashlight, nor visible cell phone. He decided to stick with the female for now, since the male had already gotten away and destroyed the only thing that Kyrian could think of using to follow him.

Phoebe looked around, her sensitive eyes trying to pierce through the darkness as her overactive senses kept her ears alert from even the slightest of sounds. It was amazing how much the adrenaline affected her senses, her body sharpening them as a survival instinct against whoever was out there. It may be the killer- or killers- or possibly some other passerby whom had seen her and would identify her to the murder. Each was just as dangerous as the other, but for very different reasons.
She could have sworn she heard a mumble, and wondered if there was more than one person there, watching her as she stood in the dark. She didn’t move a muscle for a moment, and heard some thumbing noises from above. So her green eyes suddenly turned away from the alleys, her head sharply going upwards to try and spot who was there.
There was a moment of pause, and Phoebe slowly moved her arm, pointing upwards. Her index and middle finger extended and her thumb was up, in the imitation of a gun children were often seen using in their little games of cops and robbers, or some other thing. In the first second, there was light. A small orb formed from the tip of her fingers as she pressed her thumb down. The small orb of light quickly raced upwards, illuminating the form of a crouched man. Phoebe scowled slightly. “Who are you? What do you want? Uh- Chi sai.. tua? Volendo?!” She demanded, accidently saying ‘Who are your? Wanting?’ instead of her wanted English translation of the words.
Her eyes dashed to the fire escape, and she wondered if she could climb it. Would she be in his range of shot? Did he even have a gun? Could he escape before she got up there? Perhaps his curiosity of her odd ability would keep her alive. It had done the trick before, not that the others had lived to tell that tale.

Sage moved rather slowly through the alleys, he had gathered from the few passer us that were either sober or drunk that the Hidden Rose was not far off. The hotel was well known for being a five star hotel well over twenty stories into the air. As he moved, he looked about a bit confused."The lady said...left then a right, straight for about a hundred yards and a right." Sage looked about slightly confused,"Or did she say two hundred?" his arms crossed over his chest. As he stood their rather baffled, his brow furrowed in concentration as he stood upon the edge of the alley.
Sage was now no more then about ten feet from the main rode, thinking for a moment he sighed and noticed a cab slowing and releasing a laughing couple. He allowed his left hand to rise, as he ran forward."Wait! Stop the cab!" he called out to the couple as the door slammed and they moved away seemingly having not heard the male. Sage growled, as he charged forward from the darkness the cab pulling off. He watched as he waved after the cab in despair,"Great." Sage shook his head and turned as he noticed the car making a right. He smirked,"You're mine." his form racing into the shadows, as he made a sharp left and then a right. His body smashing into the rickety wooden door of a less then fortunate families home. He coughed as he hauled himself up, dust rising as he stared at the family not less then three feet away from him frozen by their unknown guest.
His hands quickly shot up in a manner of peace," 'scuzi!" he called, as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. Sage quickly tugged out a wad of bills, counting out a few hundreds well over the cost of the damages. Sage slammed them onto the table, and raced through the home tugging open the front door. As he look the cab driving right by him, Sage snarled as he raced after it his footsteps lengthy and rapid. As he noticed the cab turning once more, he groaned in frustration."I better find him for all the trouble I'm coming through!" he roared in the near empty streets. Sage noticed another straight through alley, as he moved through that alley and stopped..it was empty. He looked towards his right, as the cab driver had stopped to smoke. Sage narrowed his orbs and moved beside the car, he tugged open the back seat and slammed the car door shut.
The driver startled as he looked in the mirror, fear in his gaze as he blow out smoke from the side of his mouth."Yes?" the Italian accent loose as he spoke. Sage narrowed his gaze in the mirror as he gritted his teeth."Hidden Rose Hotel, now.." he glared at the man before the driver nodded switching on the meter and heading off.

Kyrian sighed as the female put up her fingers in a gun-like manner, probably trying to make it look like she had a gun in order to scare whoever was on the rooftops. It was a feeble thing to do to him, since he could see perfectly in complete darkness. Suddenly an orb of light formed, floating at the tip of her 'barrel'; this must have been the lights that she had earlier when coming up the alley. What a strange power to have; Kyrian had never seen it before, but he did think he had heard of it.
When she released her 'hammer' and the orb of light flew upwards, Kyrian remembered where he had heard about this power from. It was a specific ability that only one race possessed; the light elementals. As the orb flew past where he perched, crouching on the edge of the roof, the light illuminated his smiling face.
Kyrian heard the girl trying to ask him two questions in bad Italian as he rose and took a step back from the ledge. He thought about the fact that there was a light elemental in front of him as he literally sank into the shadows at his feet, as though he were standing in quicksand.
As soon as the darkness elemental disappeared, his form rose up from the ground on the female's right, wearing black jeans, a purple tee shirt, and black sandals with a freshly shaved face and a katana at his waist. No other weapons were to be found on the man, unless you were to count his own limbs, which made as efficient a weapon for him as almost any blade.
"Sono Kyrian," the male spoke out towards the female in front of him, answering her in the language with which he were addressed, before switching to a language he though she would be more comfortable with. "I am Kyrian... And you, are a light elemental. I've heard of your kind before, though this is my first time meeting one. Also, you have lovely green eyes." As soon as he said the last part, he realized that he might have given away the fact that he could see in the dark, a trait which very few races possessed.

The male angel was hovering in mid-air, wings flapping slowly as he kept himself a decent way above the city below him. Interesting, very interesting. A male below him was whom he was interested in had caught his attention. He was watching the male intently, wings continuously beating to keep him aloft. His eyes narrowed as the man smashed through a door, in a pathetic attempt to catch a cab. Yes, he managed to do so but what if there had been somebody behind that door. Somebody who could have been injured. Light drew his attention from the male momentarily, and he looked at it. He would investigate that little feat later. It could have been nothing more then a flashlight, or something. However he tended to stick his nose in to everything. He returned his attention back to the male getting in to a cab. The cab didn't move for several seconds, then it suddenly began driving along a the street and made a turn.
He smiled, nodding to himself. It was time to end this little chase, and find out what this male was so intent upon find, or where he was going that he had to smash through "walls" to get there. Curling his wings and tilting his body, he hurtled towards the ground below him. The wind whistled through his hair and past his face. He reached behind himself, grasping his swords and drawing them. He gripped them tightly, hurtling towards the cab. He suddenly flared his wings, catching the wind and stopping his descent only slightly.
His feet slammed in to the hood of the cab, caving it inwards with his weight and speed. The cab screeched to a halt with the sudden additional weight, the engine torquing out and shredding itself. Steam and smoke billowed from under the hood and Cordoba slowly spread his wings again, an intimidation factor upon the meager human driver who stumbled out from the cab and ran screaming off in to the night. He would more then likely be picked up later, accused of doing drugs and his crazed rantings ignored. Cordoba glared through the glass of the now cracked windshield at the male seated in the back seat, then slowly motioned with the sword in his right hand for the man to exit the vehicle. He made no motion however to step down from the hood of the vehicle. He wanted the better vantage point upon the male from this point.

His face shone down at her, smiling away. His form had been hidden before, as even in the small amount of light within the darkened alley, Phoebe’s eyes had been unable to pick up on the figure. Perhaps it was because she was craning her head upwards, causing her to be unable to see what should have been an obvious shadow against the lit night sky. But as already mentioned, she did not see him until her little orb had illuminated his grinning face.
And yet, as she called out with broken words of the Italian tongue, he rose. Her light hovered, and she could see him suddenly go out of view, taking a step back. Her eyes automatically turned to that fire escape ladder; the one that she was unaware had been used by the man who had really killed the gang member lying dead in the alley with her earlier. She let her light dwindle and die, plunging everything into darkness again. She took about two steps towards the ladder, when a sudden movement caught her eyes. Automatically she whipped her body to the right, her hand ready to shoot one of her plasmatic orbs towards whoever it was to blow him into pieces. Her stunned eyes registered that this man had the exact same face as the one who had been on the rooftop. How was this even possible? Were they twins of some sort? Or were there really others who possessed odd and supernatural powers like herself?
He was armed, which Phoebe instinctively looked for, but he did not hold his weapons in his hands, as if a sign of peace. But she was wary of any hidden weapons, not just the visible katana. His first two words nearly made her swear out loud, but she kept it confined to her head and her thoughts. Fucking Italian, this will be a problem.
She was relieved slightly when he switched to English. She was quite surprised on what he was saying, chatting away casually like they were both at a party for their friend and had been forced into doing introductions with each other. His words also made no sense. A Light Elemental? Phoebe wasn’t too sure what that meant. Obviously not known to this stranger, this Kyrian, Phoebe was utterly convinced she was human. She had been raised by human parents, whom had adopted her as a mere babe and had never told her. She thought she was just some sort of gifted human, like some sort of psychic. He alsomentioned her eyes. Despite the fact Phoebe could tell it was the same man as before, this limited light did not allow her to see such details such as the colour of his eyes. What other abilities did this man posess?
Wearily, she lit a small light, and let it float up and slightly towards him, illuminating this streange man called Kyrian. She pursed her lips a moment before speaking up, her doubt clear in her words, giving them a ring of truth. She wanted answers to so many questions, but started with just the one. “I do not know what you are talking about. These… Light elementals?”
Post by Kyrian Tidus on Oct 13, 2012 14:49:03 GMT -5
The male frowned a little as he took notice of the female's noticing he was armed; she was someone accustomed to fighting. However once he spoke, he smiled noticing the confusion on her face as he spoke of their kind. She must be one of those elementals. And his thoughts were confirmed when the female replied by saying 'I do not know what you are talking about. These... Light elementals?' Obviously she was one of the lost elementals who did not know what they were, even thought they had discovered their power. She probably, like most of the confused bastards, thought that she had been blessed by some god or another and fooled herself into believing that she was still human.
Unfortunately, Kyrian had to pull the wool from in front of her eyes.
He sighed as pointed to the orb of light floating inbetween the two. "That thing is an orb of light created by one of your powers... And from what I know, you should also be able to create multiple copies of yourself. These are powers that you had from birth due to your genetic makeup." He let the whole 'genetic makeup' thing settle in before continuing. "You are not human. Neither of us are. We are elementals, a unique species that is extremely identical to humans, except we can control the energies of the universe in multiple ways. As all supernaturals can. Things such as vampyres, werebeasts and mermaids do exist. We are all supernatural species who can control these energies in the form of several 'powers,' which you will be able to grow."
The male turned around and gestured with a sweeping motion of his arm towards... Everything else. "There is another world out here, different from the human one in which you grew up with."
The darkness elemental then turned around to face the female once more, getting back to a topic which he was interested in. "And I believe that man from earlier was one of us... Elementals, I mean. He was looking for something called the Hidden Rose, and if you'd accompany me, I'd like to go in search of it."

Sage had been relaxing in the back seat, his orbs closed as the car began driving. A few moments of peace in the chaos was to be reigned upon this country at his arrival. After a moment, Smash! The car was up ended, his body jerking forward as his arms rose instinctively to protect his features. As he slammed into the back of the front seat, groaning as the car once again fell back. "Son of a bitch!" his orbs opened as he looked to the front of the car, as he looked through the window shield. He noticed the set of feet, "Who the fuck?!"
Sage took a deep breath, whomever was impeding his path would fall before him. Sage took a deep breath, as he allowed his Power to flow through his form. He immediately awakened his Aura of Fear. A blood thirsty, malicious and icy cold feeling would spread through the area. As if the persons worst nightmare was creeping up behind them, chilling and deadly. Sage's pupils now slits, glared out at the feet atop the car as he turned and calmly pushed open the door stepping from the totaled vehicle. He felt no reason to draw his Trench Blades, as he witnessed the Angelic creature with twin blades watching him. He could tell that this creature was powerful, but nothing would stand in his way.
His hands within the confines of his pocket, as he perked a brow at the male. His slits locked upon the angel. His aura growing and and rising in potency and strength,"What do you want? Speak quick.." he words laced with venom, as he smirked."Or I'm going to tear your wings from you and keep them as trophies.." he smirked, as mad mans look within his dark gaze. His form relaxed, muscles loose yet he was alert ready for combat.
Last Edit: Oct 13, 2012 16:36:55 GMT -5 by Sage Tidus
Cordoba watched the male step from the vehicle slowly, as if nothing was bothering him. Suddenly the male began to clearly use a power, trying to cause fear inside Cordoba. This brought a smirk to his lips, and he brought his sword up and slashed it through the air even though he was to far away from the male to actually injure him. He used his own innate gift, smirking as he did so. His lips parted and he spoke in a soft, cold voice. "Your powers are strong, your gods are great. Your faith upon both shalt be your down fall."
As his words floated upon the air, the aura vanished like mist in the wind. Blown away completely, leaving nothing left as the angel stepped down from the hood of the vehicle he had landed upon. "It is unwise to threaten one of which you have no clue about." He was watching the male intently. His hands where stuffed inside his pockets, as if he was ready to grab upon some weapon or another. Cordoba did not know what the male had, however it had to be something small enough to fit inside those pockets. That would limit the male's range with those weapons specifically, but not his other powers. Cordoba decided to simply stay where he was, about four feet from the other male.
"Where are you going in such a hurry that you put these mortal creatures about us in such peril? Their lives have more meaning then yours, and yet you throw them in to such peril. Answer quickly, please. It could change how things might happen hence forth." Cordoba was not threatening, but merely making a casual observation. If the other male saw it as such or not was not the angel's problem. He kept his hand firm upon his swords, but not so firm that it would hinder his grip or maneuverability of the shamshir style weapons. He body was relaxed, at ease as if he did this sort of thing every day which in deed was almost upon the truth. He was ready to act, but not in a tight twitchy way that most people reacted in, but in a flowing fluidic motion that was vastly superior to most standard people's reactions. This came from a life of fighting, instead of just the occasionally random fight that most experienced.

Her striking green eyes flickered to the small light hovering between the two strangers as Kyrian pointed to it, before flickering them back to his face as he spoke. She also carefully observed the rest of his body, watching for some sort of warning. The small movement of a hand slipping inside a pocket, for example, or something discrete yet possibly dangerous like that. She had gotten into enough fights to be able to read the body language that indicated someone was about to attack.
She listened to his words. She nearly rolled her eyes at his first sentence, saying that the orb was part of her power. No shit Sherlock, she had been flinging them around without discretion for the last few minutes. But her amusement at the obvious statement was cut short when he mentioned creating copies of herself. Now how in the world did he know that? He mentioned genetic makeup, and once more she was lost. Her parents weren’t like her. But she has come across the theory of psychic ability being genetic before, and wondered if the gene was merely dormant in her parents. The words of one stranger wasn’t going to change her entire mind, considering she had spent her whole life as a gifted human, not a Light Elemental.
He then proceeded on about other species. Nor this, Phoebe wasn’t sure if she should believe it or not. Vampyres and werebeasts? It sounded a tad cliché, like Twilight was real or some shit like that. So as Phoebe gathered all this information, she wasn’t sure what tobelieve and what to deny. So instead of pondering over it, shedid something intelligent. Shestored it away for later and just sort of pretended she believed him.
"There is another world out here, different from the human one in which you grew up with."
That sentence, even if it was implied to cover all those mermaids and Twilight-things, Phoebe already knewto be true. Obviously the world was different then the human one. Lookat these two standingaround in the alley, a dead body at their side and a mystical light hovering between them. She knew there were things more than human out there. Doesn’t mean they were other than human though. "And I believe that man from earlier was one of us... Elementals, I mean. He was looking for something called the Hidden Rose, and if you'd accompany me, I'd like to go in search of it."
Now those were words she was glad to hear. But she still retained suspicion, as any smart girl would. “The Hidden Rose? How do you know of all this? Do you know that man?”
Phoebe wasn’t even sure if she should follow or not. This man had killed someone she wanted dead anyways. But that meant he probably had more information on the gang, and could be of use to her. So she decided to show a small inkling of trust, enough to give this Kyrian her name. Maybe it sounded out of the blue, but she felt the need to add it in. “Also, I am Phoebe.”
