The black truck parks outside of a tavern in the bitter cold town of who cares I'm tired in Alaska. Adam has been driving for days and thankfully he filled up roughly three of those red tanks of extra gas for his haul up here. Soon he'll have to refill them all and head back down but for now he's made it and decides to drink in celebration. His clothing shows the wear and tear of a tough life as he steps in. People eyeing the burns and cuts on his jacket as well as the scars on his face and neck, not taking away from his devilish good looks but still something to be noticed. "Whiskey please.... Hell... two..." is all he says with a soft smile to the bartender as he sets cash on the counter. She smiles politely with a small bit of color in her cheeks as she notices his vibrantly blue eyes.
She starts to go before she stops and asks if he wants it on the rocks, A simple nod and they are on the counter. Pushing himself from the counter with the two drinks balanced and held in one hand via his thumb on the top of both and his fingers spread out underneath. "Keep the change...." he speaks in a tired but kind voice as he goes to find a table in the corner, one where he can have his back to the wall and still an eye on the whole bar.
The drinks sit on the table for a moment as he lets out a deep sigh and leans back and pounds one back in one gulp. A deeply overjoyed smile stays on his face as he closes his eyes as the warmth of the whiskey fills his throat. There are a few open chairs at his table and he seems like a welcoming man yet no one approaches him for some reason. After the bar seems to watch him for a little bit it in eerie silence it returns to normal and he's eying the second drink on the table, not yet touching it. If anyone was tentative enough to truly look into his eyes, a faint Gilmore of joy as well as loneliness can be seen, he's an odd fellow to say the least.

A fight broke out, it had been a long time coming, but in the middle of it a young woman, maybe 19 baby blue hair and chocolate brown eyes. She knocked the feet from under the man who dared to try and pin her. Only moments later another man comes into the fight, she laughs though it was not a true laughter, but very few people could tell she'd gotten so good at faking it.
"Maybe we could talk this out?" The man went to slam his fist into her face. She ducked down and punches him in the gut, "Well fine than!" the young shifter sighed, only to be picked up. She weighed next to nothing so it wasn't hard for the man. He tossed her and she landed on the other man's table. She looked at him with an appologetic smile, "Sorry." Mmm well wasn't he attractive. She touched her lip as she slid off the table, "Did you really have to draw blood?!"

Adam lets out a heavy sigh as his drink flies to the wall as he stands up. The young girl would notice now a very shiny magnum over her right shoulder as it points at the man who threw her. "Five.....Four....Three!" His charming and friendly deminor is gone and replaced with a dominating and hostile tone. The man who threw the woman steps forward and tries to interject. "Hey man no-ARGH!" a new found hole appeared in his left knee. Adam had covered the girl's right ear with his free hand when he fired so he didn't shatter hear drum. "TWO!" he continues as the men raise their hands and seem to yield.
Another long drawn out sigh escapes him as he walks over to the bartender and puts some amount of money in her hand. "Sorry for the mess...." is all he says as he puts yet more money on the counter, this time only a ten. "Can I get another whiskey?" He seems to be uninterested in the woman now that the fighting is over with.
He approaches the man who has a hole in his knee as he extends a hand to help him up and whisper something into his ear. Nodding in agreement the man leaves fairly quickly with his 'friend' but not before Adam puts his hand in the man's pocket. His cold gaze turns pleasant as he smiles to the bartender for his new drink and the sound returns to the body. As if nothing happened he sits back down in his chair and sips his drink.

Ciel was rather shocked when his hand covered her ear and then the loud ring of a bullet went off. She watched the rest of the scene in mind interest. Her eyebrow raising and her tongue clicking. She didn't understand why this man got involved but she rolled with it. When the angry man left the building she was able to go back to what she was doing. She walked back over to a woman she had been sitting with. A flirtatious smile on her face and after a while she nodded. SHe looked at the bartender and ordered a drink for her and the girl sitting next to her. After all was said and down, she walked over to Adam.
Ciel's brown eyes looked the man over, "Hello there." She said. She needed to know why this man helped her. She brushed her baby blue hair out of her face with a gentle movement of her hand. She leaned back using a chair for support, she wasn't going to let him or anyone else know that the fight had actually injured her.

He looks her up and down and kinda blushes slightly as he takes a sip. "Hello..." he mumbles into his glass, He offers her a seat and smiles politely as color returns to his face and his glass returns to the table. "How can I help ya hun?" He is welcoming but also very cautious around this one. He leans forward as his jacket opens up slightly, she could see a bandoleer covered with ammo clips hidden deep within. Adam waves to the bartender as he talks to the girl. "Want a drink?" He still gets the waitress over and orders himself another whiskey, pointing to the girl who may or not be under aged but who cares, Adam just put a hole in someone's knee cap. If she orders or not, same if she sits or not, he doesn't care. Adam folds his hands and stares at her, waiting for her responses and questions.

Ciel smiled at him he really was an attractive man. She took a seat when offered, and looks at him, before asking for a whiskey as well. No one carded her, she'd been here for two days and had an ID on it. She took it out anyway to as the lady walked by. She had to look anyway so she could remember what she'd said her name was this time. She was very sly about it, most wouldn't notice. "Thank you for saving my ass back there." She said with a coy flirtatious smile. She looked him up and down once more, "I like your gun." She said fingering the edge of her glass as it is brought. She sat back relaxing, she hadn't meant to come over here to talk to him, she'd actually meant to leave and finish her job, but he had caught her interest, though that wasn't always a good thing. Maybe he'd be lucky, and she'd remember Thanatos' teachings about only killing for balance, but she wanted to feel something somehow. Maybe he'd help her for a time.

Adam nodded almost nonchalantly as he takes a sip. "Don't mention it... Balance was needed and I provided it...." He takes one more before leaning back in his chair. "You okay? You seem hurt...." As he leans back another shining glimmer can be seen in the opposite side of his jacket. The hilt is the only visible part while rows of ammo also decorate his bandoleer. "How old are you really?...." Adam seems to be a very astute individual. Any answer he seems un-phased by it but when his eyes wander the curves of her body he seems to flush a soft hue and turn his head. Every person has their weakness and it would appear women were his. He never ogled and even felt ashamed letting his eyes wander, always acting the gentleman.
Adam seems to keep a watchful gaze on the woman regardless of his blushing, an almost feral glare to them that would seemingly pierce through a normal person.

Ciel sat there her glass in her hand, slowly raised to her lips. A long pull as she listened to him. She set the glass down and looks him in the eye. "Why do you want to know how old I am?" She'd caught his look at her, then her eyes closed and she sat back legs crossed like a lady. One of those habits that came when she wasn't paying attention. Her fingers grazed the rim of her glass again before she opened her eyes and smiled, regardless of if he answered her or not she licked her lips, and stretched out for a moment, "My I.D. says I'm twenty-one." She smirked and eyed him cautiously. His own peircing look had no effect on her, almost as if she was oblivious, which could likely be the case with this female. Tonight she wasn't in any persona, tonight she was herself, for the first time in a long time she was Ciel, Ciel pretending to be someone else.

Adam laughs. "Just curious.... also the fact that you stated your ID says... means it's most likely a fake...." he winks at her as he leans back in his chair relaxed. "I had one for a long time too..." his smile is soft. "So what are you doing here? You seem..." He points to the blue hair with his hand still holding the whiskey glass. "....Different than most...." His eyes seem to wander in his curious state, seeming to look for claws, scales, bite marks, or anything out of the ordinary.
He continues ordering drinks for the two of them as he continues the conversation. The drinks come if she is done or not. "Why did that man...men pick a fight with you?" He takes another sip as he locks eyes with her or at least tries to. Adam slowly leans forward as he tries to keep eye contact to see if she shows any signs of lying. His right hand however rests under the table while his left keeps the whiskey glass company, He holds the deasert eagle aimed toward her in case there was a reason the fight broke out.

Ciel laughed and licked her lips, "I'm 19, but old for my age." She said with a laugh, watching him look her body over she smiled more, "Oh. Ya know I'm a terrifying deamon." She smirked as she said this, closing her eyes for a moment, wanting to see how he reacted, but also allowing it to be played off as a joke.
She took a drink, she always had a sense of when someone was aiming a gun at her. She opened her eyes and looked at him, "Well ya see he was going to take me back to his room, when I said some rather cruel things about the package in his pants... well he didn't take that too well... oh also might be I was asking some questions about a person he didn't want me asking questions about." She laughed and sat back. She wasn't afraid of the gun that was pointed at her from under the table, it just hit her sixth sense that she was very possibly in danger.

Adam feels like she's telling the truth, Many brutes would hit a woman for talking about their sword in the stone and especially if they pestered them first. He holsters the gun and puts both hands on the table, folded and centered toward the girl. "So.... just now out of curiosity... WHO were you asking about and WHY are you at this table? Not saying for you to leave... Just curious as to your motives...." His gaze stays on her eyes, even though he seems to be having complications with every flutter and lip licking, he keeps his gaze. "Did I invite an Angel by my side or a Deamon in my head?"
After Adam called her out and basically asking if she was full of shit or not, he waits, stares, refuses to drink his whiskey. He does however keep a peripheral on the area around her thanks to his choice of seating, he could see it all. Movement behind her did not seem to be of importance so he simply waited for his answer.

She laughed as he started to speak again, she felt him lighten up though that didn't fully get rid of the feeling that she was in danger. She sat back and listened carefully, "Well, I'm at this table because you are the only interesting person in this bar besides the barmaid." said with a wink as the woman passed by, then back to him, "I was asking a about a boy who used to live here before he moved to Japan." she said tapping her fingers on the table the last part made her laugh,
"Did I invite an Angel by my side or a Deamon in my head?"
She thought about it for a moment, "Oh... well, we'll find that out soon won't we?" Said with a sweet laugh, her hands moving across the table only for a moment, she liked his eyes on her though she couldn't figure out why.

At this Adam erupted in a roar of laughter, for the first time since he was a child has he laughed this hard. "Oh man... I swear you're either going to show me the time of my life or eat me...." his laughter dies down as he leans back, his eyes focused on her. He is intrigued but usually this behavior came with ill intention toward him. He's never held a woman skin to skin so by proxy every time it's gotten close to that he's had to put a bullet between their eyes. The feral gaze upon the woman stays as he continues his questions. "Do you pick up many older men that way?" He appears to be holding back something, caution, rage, lust, longing, curiosity, or who knows as the lines fade.
His weakness is women and usually his off putting tone will keep them as friends but this one seems to be advancing regardless and that's making him nervous. More so than usual mainly because he's debating it yet past memories are keeping him reserved from throwing the table over and throwing his cares to the world. Out of habit he orders another drink just to keep one twitch of his down. Adam's eyes never once leave hers be it longing for or simply so that he knows exactly where she is.

Ciel laughed with him, this was actually fun. It'd been a long time since she'd needed to feel anything, but she knew she couldn't do her job without it. She brushed her hair out of her face once more looking at him, she shook her head, "No. I normally don't go for older men... or men my age... or men." She said with another laugh. "Actually I don't normally try to get with people." It wasn't a lie, she wasn't a huge fan of people, they had emotions, there were confusing. What she was going for on the other hand was almost as simple as killing someone. As long as feelings were kept out of it, and with the way that this man was drinking, she wasn't sure that he'd feel much of anything. She took a drag from her glass her eyes stayed on his.
He was interesting to say the least, and for her that was already saying a lot. Her body shivered a little bit, telling her that her urges were kicking in, she wasn't going to pressure him though. She would continue to play her game, after all that was part of the fun.

Adam gives in and sighs. "What exactly...." he closed his eyes for a moment and then looks at her again. "-Exactly- did you want to do?" He waves his hand around as he finishes his drink. "I can shoot someone else if you give me a good enough reason....." he leans forward as he has seemingly given her the go ahead to lead him wherever she wants. Also he feels that if he stays in this confined space space any longer he might snap. Adam needed the cold breeze to clear his head.
"Or do you simply need a... Ride...." he says it, he means a simple ride somewhere, but then with the nature of the woman's advances he realizes what he might have just insinuated and quickly finishes off his drink. His eyebrow quirks as he sips, waiting for her response to his now seemingly loaded question. He'll pay his tab regardless with cash and leave a sizable tip for the waitress. If she wants to go he will stand up slowly and then the roar of a truck's engine will start outside. He seems unaffected by the whiskey he drank as if he's used to drinking much more. Again if they did leave he'd extend his hand for her to leave first and then open the truck passenger door for her, the inside already fairly warm as he climbs in, asking her 'where to?' However if she wished to stay he'd just sit there.
