Korina watched the man before her try to look around her in to the room. He clearly saw nothing of interest and returned his gaze to Korina. His eyes roved over her body and she shivered feeling like a piece of meat up for sale. She made to close the door then saying, "I hope you find what your looking for." However she blinked in surprise as the man's hand was suddenly there in the door stopping it from closing. She blinked in surprise feeling her arms developing goose pimples as the male leaned close whispering through the small crack.
"Well, since your alone I will simply have to....find a way to keep use entertained."
Korina saw as if in slow motion the fangs sliding from the man's mouth as his other hand drew back. She hust had enough time to turn her head just enough so when the fist connected with the door sending it flying open ripping the chain from the door it slammed in to her cheek and sent her flying back across the bed that was behind her as she spun through the air landing on her stomach. Before she even had time to react the new vamprye was on her, laughing as the sound of cloth ripping filled the air and she felt the cold from outside upon her inner thighs and across her rear as the fingers if the vamprye twisted in her hair jerking her head up.
She could see clearly in the large mirror, herself upon the bed her pants ripped exposing her but no reflection of the vamprye about to sexually assault her. Se screamed and thrashed kicking as horrific memories if her ex commanding officer and the brutal thigs he had done filled her mind, but her struggles only caused the vampyre to laugh.

The steam filling the bathroom began to spill from the room. The towel was getting warm. Delia paced. She was sweating a little bit. She wiped the mirror and looked at herself. She felt danger coming from the next room. She wasn't sure what to do. Curiosity got the best of her. She opened the door a slight bit and peered out. She saw the man leering at Korina. Delia recognized those stares from the humans she tried to avoid so she could keep her senses and her virginity.
The sound of the man's voice made Delia scared for her new friend. She didn't need to see his fangs to know what he was. She grit her teeth as her fangs showed. Murder seemed like a wonderful idea now. Perverted humans were one things. Perverted vampyres were another, especially since it seemed he wanted Korina.
Delia forced the door open, letting the hinges squeak as they broke off. She was unaware of how strong she could be sometimes. Being pissed, this was one of thise times. Delia saw the vampyre ripping away at Korina's clothes. Delia snarled. She ran at the vampyre and Korina. She reached for him, trying to pull him off of her.
"Oi! I'm the only you're looking for so back off!" Delia yelled loudly. The reverberating in her vocal chords made her swallow. First human friend. First fight against a vampyre. This was turning out to be an interesting night.
Korina continued to scream until Delia fly past her and tackled the male. With just enough weight off her she rolled on to her back and drew her legs back and together, then thrust them upwards hard driving her heels in to the vampyre's nose feeling bones break. Throwing herself from the bed she scrambled towards the closet only to feel a brutal grip close around her ankle hard enough to almost break bones and jerk her back to the male. She flailed her legs trying to get free as the vamprye reached over his own head and behind Delia's then threw her away from himself in to the mirror.
"Bitch! You'll pay for your lies and deceit!" He roared at Korina and slapped her splitting her lip then lunged for her neck. She screamed, getting her legs between then as heaved, kicking the male away and hurling herself at the closet again.

Of course he was strong. Delia had no intentions of giving up though. She heard the cracking of bones. Whose she was unsure. She had fallen off the male as he reached for Korina's ankle. She had to stop him. Delia heard the slap. She stood, the loosening towel at the back of her thoughts. "Get off of her..." Delia muttered in enough time to see Korina kick herself into the closet.
With Korina out of his grasp, Delia got between them. She stared him down. "I would prefer it if you left the girl out of this. What do you want from me?" Delia spoke darkly. She had no taste for anyone that would be so cruel. If she had to give herself up as the disgrace of all vampyre kind, so be it.
Delia walked closer to him. He would hurt her, but that didn't matter. Her stare never left his face. She couldn't be scared. That would show him that she was weak. It would show she was unstable. He would make good use of her human emotions.
Korina's fingers closed around her rifle in the closet then she leap to her feet. Gripping it tightly in her left hand her thumb slide the safety off and past auto to single shot. She would need only one. She leap back out of the closet behind Delia, her right arm wrapping around the girl's head covering he tears as eyes. She continued the spinning motion twisting the girl around so her ace was back towards the closet as Korina brought her rifle up in her left hand, and squeezed the trigger.
The bullet couldn't miss at this range. It flew along the barrel of the rifle, past the electromagnet arming the special bullet. A sime bullet to the chest of a vamprye would be unremarkable and almost useless (unless it penetrated it's heart). However Korina manufactured her own bullets. A special design, based of the rpg style grenades fired from a AA-12 shotgun. The tip the bullet burrowed in to the flesh of the vamprye, then as the tip compressed against the bones of his ribcage the explosive device was activated.
Blood, bone and gore splattered Korina's back as the chest cavity of the vamprye disintegrated in the explosion and sent Korina stumbling still holding Delia. The vampyre's body was blasted away, smashing through the wall and outside on to the good of a car. Korina gently released Delia and stepped away groaning as her ears rang from the explosion, her arm sore from the recoil of the gun because she had not held it tight to her shoulder.

Korina had pulled Delia out of certain danger. She was a bit shocked at first. The gun, of course, being the most shocking. The thoughts raced. Was Korina going to kill her? Delia began to count the seconds. Korina wouldn't kill her. She saved her. The gun was in the closet before. Maybe it was because she always encountered such circumstances? Well, hardly anything like a half naked dhampir trying to fight a vampyre cop.
Delia heard the gun shot. The sound ringing in her ears. She counted faster and out loud. When she reached seven there was a large explosion. She felt the blood splatter on her. Vampyre blood. It was so unappealing. The smell disgusted her. Delia looked at Korina. "We have to move. I'll carry you so we can move faster. Pack what you need. We have only a few minutes." Delia stood and grabbed her small bag and boots. She moved quickly around the room in order to help grab Korina's things, or at least what appeared to be her things. She placed everything on the blood soaked bed. Delia looked at Korina. "If you don't mind, I would still like to borrow some clothes." She tried to be polite but wasted no time in digging through the drawers and suit case to get something on her naked body.
Korina didn't care that the girl took some of her cloths. She had already offered hasn't she. Also she needed a new pair of pants anyways now. She grabbed a pair of jeans Delia had thrown aside and and pulled them on. She ripped her tank top of and pulled a new black one on that wasn't splattered with blood. She slipped on a pair of boots and slipped her dagger on to her left one. She quickly slung her rifle across her back and stuffed a cell phone, a small wallet, and a single key in her pockets. She glanced at Delia to see if she was ready and slipped out the front door and ran to the front office. Apparently there was nobody else in those motels as nobody had come looking at the noise just yet. She slapped the key on the counter, then ran back to the room.
Heading to the room, she pulled the cell phone out and dialed rapidly. Holding it to her ear she spoke quickly in to it. "Eduardo, darling. I need an evac." The voice came back across but Delia wouldn't be able to make out the words due to static and fuz. "Yea, I'm still here. Where are you gonna meet us." She listened, then snapped the phone shut and slid it back in her pocket looking at Delia.
"How do you feel about coming to America and living with me sweetheart? I can help you. America's pretty nice I guess, and they will have a harder time finding you with my...uh...contacts help." She held her hand out t the vampyress, smiling.

Delia dressed herself quickly. Jeans, t-shirt, and her own boots. She carried her own things as well as arming herself with her brass knuckles for now. They were less conspicuous for right now, not that it really mattered. There were no sirens yet, but soon. She stood outside while Korina left the key. Polite of her. Once done she walked next to her comrade as she talked on the phone. Paranoia strung through her. She knew she was wanted but had no idea that any vampyres had her picture. Her face was known and yet with this gunslinger girl beside her she felt no fear. That or the adrenaline rush.
The snapping of Korina's phone caused Delia to look at her. The question aimed at her was odd. "You...want to help me? I almost got you killed. I shouldn't be around people at all. I'm just trouble." Delia looked down but continued walking. She spoke what she always believed, but the truth right now was that she wanted very much to be with someone. Anyone would do as long as they accepted her. It seemed Korina did.
The feeling of joy and fear mixed. Joy that there was someone who would even offer this opportunity to her. And fear that she would get Korina killed. She bit her lip. "I think we should first get as far from here as possible. It isn't safe for either of us right now." Delia looked around, wondering if anyone were around.
Korina looked at Delia and smiled even bigger. "Excellent, I already have us a ride dear. However we have to be at the to of the highest building around here in thirty minutes so my friend can pick us up. Then, your coming home with me sweetheart. That's the end of the discussion." Korina glanced around at the buildings, and quickly spotted the tallest. She pointed out the building to Delia and groaned.
"That's a very long way. Alas I don't know if I can actually make that. However I shall try." She hefted her rifle and and began to jog along the sidewalk, looking around herself to keep an eye out for any unusual activity. What caught her eyes was the sun....just ready to peek over the corner of the world and warm the city from its long night. Her eyes went from the sun to her companion, worry and fear in them.

Delia nodded with Korina's decision. Delia looked around a bit more. The sun was rising, that was good. She was safer during the day. She glanced at Korina and began jogging next to her. "I will be fine in the sun. That's one advantage. Do you want me to carry you? I could run there in half the time it would take us to jog?" Delia was certain of herself. She had a vampyres speed after all. The pros and cons of being a dhampir ran through her mind in that second. If she had the choice, she'd rather be human. Maybe then she could have finished high school and enjoyed her life a little bit.
The sound of sirens were close. They were headed to the motel. Delia gave no choice for Korina to answer. She hoisted the woman onto her back. "Hold your breathe." Delia warned as she sped off to the highest building. She didn't stop for anything. With the way she was running there was no need to. She got the the building. How was she to get in? She ran around the building and found a fire escape. She let Korina down. "We'll have to climb." Delia pulled the ladder down. "Will you be okay to? If not I can put you on my back again." She could tell Korina's joints weren't the best. The least she could do was to offer her help.
Korina nodded as she told her the light wouldn't affect her. Then suddenly Delia picked her up and placed her upon her back and ran with her. She squealed in fear, clenching the half vamprye girl tightly around the chest with a death grip and buried her face in to her flowing blond hair that smelled of her own flowery shampoo. She didnt dare look or even peek untill the entire sensation was over and slid from her back gratefully. She looked a little green and nauseous, but waved off Delia's offer of more help.
She climbed that ladder and made her way up the fire escape and stopped on top of the buildings flat roof. They had made amazing time this way. Nobody was around to see them, however they still had ten minutes to wait for the helicopter. She glanced back at Delia, and sighed. "Is it really that obvious?" She asked softly.

Delia followed Korina upward to the top of the building. All the way up she made sure to look out for her legs. When Delia had bitten her, she felt the pang of her joint. She half smiled at her friend. "Well I did drink your blood." Delia kept a look out around them. No vampyre would dare come out during sunrise. However, this was also prime time for hunters. Humans would all be waking up. Headlines would talk about the death of a police officer in a motel room. There probably wouldn't be any mention of him being a Vampyre. Delia doubted there was much left to tell he was one.
As the sun rose, Delia covered her eyes. Light sensitivity was still a problem. At least that could be considered normal. She paced. The minutes seemed to go by so slowly. Delia was frantic. She wanted to be as far away from this city as possible. She was sure Korina wanted to be as well.
Korina groaned and sat down, rubbing her knees gently. She watched Delia closely as the girl seemed nervous, jumpy, and twitchy. Korina couldn't understand why though. With the sun now up, she needn't worry about other vampyres after her. Also the cops wouldn't find them anywhere near as quickly as the pilot Eduardo had set would find them. After a few minutes of Delia's nervous walking Korina sighed ad called out to the girl.
"Delia, dear. Come sit pleasure. Your going my neck a cramp from watching you pace sweetie. There's nothing to be worried about." She patted the rooftop beside her. "We will be away from here shortly. What happens, well it will happen and we will simply adjust our reactions accordingly. There is no need to fret so much. Besides," Korina giggled, "worrying so will give you age lines on that pretty face if yours."

It was in her nature to be nervous. Always running, never sleeping for long. If it weren't for the vampyre blood coursing through her, Delia would probably look like a crack whore. She made a face at the thought of wrinkles and permanent dark circles on her face. Listening to Korina, Delia sat. She rummaged through her back for her small bag of makeup. She quickly did her eye make up. In her mind, she looked better this way. The natural look wasn't her thing anyway.
The sun was getting brighter as it rose above the skyscrapers. To some it would be a beautiful experience. Those people have never seen the sunrise in the country side then. Still the sight was nice. There was less fear when the sun rose. On this lovely morning, there was even a helicopter to take them both away. Delia smiled a little bit at that thought.
"So where exactly are we going?" Delia finally asked as she packed away her things again. Her icy blue eyes stood out from the dark shadow.
Korina to sat staring at the sunrise, smiling to herself despite the pain increasing in her joints. In the distance a dark shape began to appear in the sky and a high pitch whining slowly increased in volume. She glanced over at Delia, smiling and climbing to her feet. She extended a hand to her new friend, pulling her up to her feet laughing at her question.
The black shape coalesced in to the form if an vertical take off ad landing vehicle, one she had designed herself but with out a pilots license or the training she had given to her contact to use as a form of transportation and shipping. The black vehicle landed upon the roof beside them effortlessly, and Korina leap up inside and turned around. She extended her hand to the dhampir female, a wide grin upon her face as she answer the females question with a single, heavy yet joyous word. "Home..."
